Two weeks later, Lydia was completely healed and back to being her usual active self when they decided to host the party to announce the winners of the baby contest. The morning of the party, the smell of something delicious wafting upstairs from the kitchen was the first thing that woke Lydia up the day of the party. The second thing was not so quiet feet moving around their bedroom. The third thing was a hot body plopping down on the comforter not too far from her back. Rolling to her back Lydia gave a deep stretch and slowly drew her eyes open. The sight that greeted her, the sight of the two loves of her life brought a smile to her face.

"Bear!" Lydia exclaimed, wincing inwardly at the sound of her morning voice. No matter how many times Aiden had told her that he thought her morning voice was sexy, which Lydia couldn't agree with less, way to deep for her liking. Scooting to a seated position, she admired her husband's nearly naked bod, somewhat regretting he was wearing boxers.

"Hi Sweetie." He replied, leaning to place a kiss to her lips. Lydia had long ago given up on not allowing him to kiss her in the mornings, due to morning breath. Their kiss continued until their son started to fuss in Aiden's arms. He seemed to not like it when they kissed, always fussing whenever they did.

"Hi baby boy, I bet you're hungry huh." Lydia soothed, gently patting his back as she cradled him to her chest. Pulling down the comforter and her tank top she teased his mouth with her nipple until he successfully latched on. At that moment Lydia's stomach decided to let out a huge grumble.

"I guess its time to feed you too." Aiden chuckled, picking up the plate of food off the side table he had so kindly brought up. Lydia was against eating in the bedroom, but she was so hungry she'd make an exception just this once. Extending one hand Lydia made a grab for the plate when he moved it from her grasp.

"No baby, let me feed you." Aiden fake pleaded while flashing puppy dog eyes. No one did puppy dog eyes as well as Lydia. Chuckling at her ridiculous husband, she gave in with a shake of her head.

By the time she had finished being fed, Lincoln had fallen asleep still attached to her breast. Removing her boob from his mouth, she gently placed him on the bed beside her. Propping herself up with a hand supporting her head, she gazed at his sleeping form, her heart melting at his adorableness. Feeling Aiden's eyes on her, she glanced up to see him, to see an open expression of love on his face. Lydia knew they had to get up in the next few minutes to get things ready for the party but she wanted to cherish these moments, they were so precious to her and made her heart melt whenever she witnessed or thought about them. Lydia stayed in bed until the snooze alarm on her phone went off again. Lydia reluctantly left the warmth of the bed.

"Can you put him in his crib please." Lydia asked "Then you can come join me in the shower." Lydia winked seductively then sashayed to the bathroom. Gently scooping Lincoln into his arms, placing a kiss on his son's soft forehead, Aiden made his way out of the room as the sound of water echoed from it. Moments later, his son safely tucked in the crib, Aiden re – entered their bedroom. Aiden was literally hoping towards the shower door as he was trying to rid himself of his boxers. He was looking forward to the time he could be naughty with his wife again. Until then there were ways she could always please him.

Hours later in the kitchen of Allison's and Ethan's house, Lydia stepped back from the plethora of food they had slaved over, cheering at the awesome job she had done with cooking everything. She had finished just in time apparently when the doorbell rang a minute after she pulled the last item of food from the oven.

"Bear, could you get that?" She asked as he came into the kitchen again, trying to sneak a piece of food.

"I will, if I can have a piece of this." Aiden replied while pointing to a crescent roll.

"Fine." Lydia relented as the doorbell rang once again "Now go." Lydia said, shooing him out the kitchen. Glancing at the baby monitor she noticed Lincoln was moving around, kicking his legs out over and over. Turning the monitor off, she went to quickly greet her guests before excusing herself to go change and feed her son.

"Please entertain them until I get back and please no eating until I come back down." Lydia whispered into Aiden's ear. Aiden's reply was to shoo her away with a slap on her butt.

Making her way up the stairs, Lydia took a moment to reflect. She enjoyed the bonding moments when it was just Lincoln and herself. Lydia was taking advantage of these as much as she could because he wouldn't be a baby for too much longer. She was drawn out of her reflection as she pushed the nursery door open and was greeted by his robust cry. Rushing to the crib, Lydia quickly scooped him into her arms. Lydia still wasn't used to how her body reacted to his cries, especially her boobs. Making her way to the rocking chair she slid into it with a sigh and pulling one arm out of her shirt, undid her nursing bra. Pulling her shirt up, she guided his rooting mouth to her breast. She had been amazed at how fast he had learned, especially the first time they had tried the latching on technique at the hospital. Lydia honestly hadn't known what to expect, especially after she had heard many different breastfeeding stories. Reaching for the ipod dock remote she turned the music on, pleased that it was set to Clair de Lune. For the next thirty minutes, she rocked back and forth, back and forth as Lincoln sleepily fed upon her breast. The moment Lincoln's mouth went slack on her breast, Lydia straightened herself out and after burping him on her shoulder, changed his dirty diaper.

Lincoln was still half awake as she made her way down the stairs with him in her arms. Following the sound of one masculine voice towards the kitchen, she found Aiden sampling pieces of different food as he chatted with both of Lincoln's grandmas. Placing a finger to her lips when her mom saw her in the shhhh sign, she approached her husbands back. Lydia stopped two feet away and loudly said "Aiden what are you doing eating, when I told you not to." startled, Aiden jumped about a foot off the wood floor and whirled around with a guilty look on his face.

"Sorry baby I got hungry." Aiden said apologetically as he relieved her arms of Lincoln.

" Oh no you don't Aiden, it's my turn." Aiden's mom chided, plucking Lincoln from him. "It's my turn to hold my grandbaby."

"But mom, he's my son." Aiden stated. Lydia took this moment to pull Aiden to her side with a tug on his arm.

"Aiden c'mon we have other guests to greet." Lydia said, linking her hand in his.

Because Lydia kept getting hounded about the contest from everyone, she had to stop the party before the desserts made their way to everyone to announce that it was time for everyone to put their guesses in the hat. Retreating to their bedroom, Lydia and Aiden began to tally all the votes. In order to win they had to guess all three correctly. The three answers were8 pounds and 8 ounces, Lincoln Ezra Bradford and 6 pm. It had been hard for Lydia to not want to tell anyone. She had almost slipped up a few times when family and friends had come visit at the hospital when they tried to get the answers out her or Aiden. When she first became pregnant she had began spouting out a few names that she and Aiden liked whenever she got together with her friends or family. Pulling herself from her thoughts, she wondered if anyone had been paying attention.

After tallying the votes there were 3 very close winners: Ethan, her friend Charlotte and Aiden's friend Tucker. Knowing how close Aiden and Ethan were she suspected that he might have cheated on 2 of the answers, mainly the name and how much he weighed. The winners each got $10 and the chance to hold Lincoln for 30 minutes. Lydia was grateful that Allison had volunteered to host the party at her house because her neighborhood had a community pool, outdoor barbecue grills and a playground.

Lydia was surprised that Lincoln slept through the entire party and the many arms he was passed to and from. He had been passed around so many times that Lydia had lost track of where he ended up whenever she went to look for him. In the last 2 weeks, the party was the most fun Lydia had had in a while, it was great to get to hang out and chat with her friends. Lydia felt grateful on this day to be surrounded by their friends and family. By the end of the party and the last of the guests were gone, Lydia was also grateful for all the help she had to clean up the mess after the party. With Lincoln nestled against her chest in a Moby wrap, Lydia began to bring all his baby presents to her jeep. When the clean up was done and they said their goodbyes to Ethan and Allison, did the 5 of them head to her car. For the next 2 weeks Aiden's mom and hers would be staying with them to help out and establish a routine.
