This must be a record for the speed of publishing a chapter for me. Anyways, we go back to Oorai in this chapter and Caesar acts salty and tells Sodoko what's what. We also meet things in this chapter. I referenced "Doc's Story" for one character because she is going to be important...and salty af.

Caesar was not pleased. Thus far, the interviews had been a disaster. At least on Hippo team's end. Everyone wanted to join Anglerfish team, not the team that was known for having a flipping death trap of a tank with no turret. Caesar wanted to bang her head on the table that they had set up. A soft 'thud' told her one of her two remaining teammates beat her to it.

"Oryou, please, pick your head up."

"Wrong person, but I admire the effort."

"Why do they all hate us?!" Saemonza lamented from where her head lay on the table, only slightly muffled by the awkward angle.

"Hell if I know, but something tells me it might be because we aren't Miho, and our tank doesn't have a turret, and people really like to aim at the sides of our tank which results in a high probability of it summersaulting to oblivion." Caesar stated, rubbing her temples. This wasn't easy, or fun…at all. "Look, why don't you two go home? I can handle things here…seeing as most people seem to be staying away." Caesar sighed, glancing at the table Anglerfish team had set up.

Oryou and Saemonza reluctantly relented to heading home, leaving Caesar to man the interview table by herself. It had only been about ten minutes when someone walked up to the table and cleared their throat; grabbing Caesar's attention, who was trying to not fall asleep and failing. Caesar looked up to greet the woman and nearly fell out of her chair. The woman standing in front of Caesar was not wearing the Oorai uniform, looked to be just a little too old for high school, and had cat ears and vibrant red eyes. After a quick recovery and realizing she was staring, Caesar decided it was best to find out what this woman wanted. "Can I help you?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. My name is Hölle Katze." The woman spoke calmly, nodding as she apologized to Caesar. "You had a friend that recently went missing, correct?" Caesar nodded, only mildly curious as how the woman knew such a thing. "Your friend is in grave danger. The man who has her captured me at one point. He took my son away."

"I beg your pardon?" Caesar didn't want to think of one of her friends in mortal danger, but apparently that was what was going on and Guderian needed to find Erwin faster. The woman suddenly leaned close, making the teen lean back in surprise.

"The Vatican has people all around. You know her. She is lying to you. You need to find your friend before it is too late. Once they start their plan people will see her as a monster even though she is more like a victim." The woman whispered, her eyes telling Caesar that she was dead serious and truly believed in whatever she was talking about.

"Ummm…" Before Caesar could finish her thought, the woman vanished. Caesar rubbed her eyes and looked around, concerned that she had fallen asleep and the whole thing had been a dream, but the line at the other table told her otherwise. That was what made her start to worry.

"Yo." Caesar looked up to see two girls standing in front of her table, one shuffling nervously while the other took more of an interest in her fake manicured nails. Oh boy.

"Can I help you two?" She asked as politely as possible.

"Which one of these death traps are you in again?" The girl with the manicure asked. Looking at her more closely, Caesar could see this girl literally could not care less about the school dress code. Her friend behind her though clearly cared at least somewhat; though smacked her face loudly in response to her friend's question. "What?" The one who seemed to do most of the talking asked, motioning her hands slightly.

Caesar watched as the quiet girl frantically began waving her hands as if that explained everything. At the delinquent girl's continued confusion, the quiet one raced over to the StuG and started pointing at it violently, clearly getting angry. Caesar looked back at the delinquent in time to see her hands in a series of gestures. Only then did everything make sense.

"I'm sorry, but we can't allow people with a hearing or speech impediment on the team." Caesar stated, actually feeling bad.

"We know. She wants me to join so she has an excuse for hanging out at the garage." The delinquent stated, pointing at her friend. "I'm Akita, that's Yuka. We've been friends since we were kids." Akita stated looking back up towards her friend. Her eyes widened and she suddenly ran around the table. "Get off of there you sneaky little quite mother fucker! I ain't playing this shit with you!"

Caesar looked, and Yuka had decided to hop on the StuG and look inside. "How in the hell did she get up there?" Even with how everyone was used to climbing in and out of their respective tanks, it still took some practice, and doing such a thing quietly and quickly on your first try was something only Miho was likely to accomplish.

"Yuka, get your ass down here!" Akita yelled, signing to her friend as she finally got Yuka's attention. Yuka, however, shook her head, signing a reply to Akita. Whatever it was it must have been a personal challenge because the next thing Caesar knew Akita was vaulting herself onto the StuG while Yuka ran to the other side and jumped off. "Yuka get your scrawny ass back here bitch!" Yuka, who Caesar figured was deaf ignored her friend and proceeded to run over to a few creates, climbed up them, and then knocked a few over to make sure Akita couldn't reach her. She then quickly signed something, stuck her tongue out, and flipped Akita the bird. Having been beaten, Akita retreated to the table where Caesar still was.

"She may not be able to hear me, but the fucker has a mouth on her."

"Oh, um…May I ask what she said?"

"While she was on your tank she said "Why don't you climb up here and pull me down fucker." Which, I was not happy about. She can't hear so, she doesn't really know if she's ever in danger or not." Akita stated, a sympathetic tone to her voice.

"I'm sorry? What about with the crates."

"That was just her way of saying "Stop trying to catch me you never win." We have…Kind of a weird relationship…" Akita muttered, glancing at the other table. Caesar looked over to see everyone staring at them, concern or confusion written on all their faces.

"Ah, alright. Um, do you guys plan to sign up for tankery?" Caesar finally asked, curious of the response.

"Well, since Yuka can't, I'm going to. I'm also going put her name there, just in case she can help around the shed." Akita stated, motioning to her friend, who was trying to get off the pile of creates.

"Okay. I mean, I'll have to talk to the others about it, but it shouldn't be a problem!" Caesar stated, optimistic. Not too much anyways.

"Cool, thanks!" Akita smiled, writing down both her name and Yuka's. Yuka ran over just as she finished, having somehow gotten off the stack of creates quietly and without injury. Akita made a few quick motions that seemed to cause Yuka to jump and clap with joy. "Alright, We'll be off then!" The two girls walked away, Yuka waving excitedly at Caesar until they couldn't see each other anymore.

"Well, those two were interesting." Caesar muttered to herself, picking up the piece of paper and looking at their names. Laikei, Akita and Aki, Yuka. Hopefully the rest of the team is okay with this. For the next few hours, no one visited Caesar's table, and by the time they finally had to stop, the line at Anglerfish team's table was only about half as long.

The two teams met up with the rest of the club in the student council room, hoping to get help looking over the names before deciding who was going to join the team as a temporary player. Everyone was browsing through the submissions Anglerfish team got, but Caesar, seeing as she only got two names, figured she could handle her submissions by herself.

"Caesar!"

The brown haired girl was startled out of her thoughts by a voice. Standing in front of her was Sodoko, who looked less than happy. The short girl started waving the paper that contained the two names Caesar got in her face. "You aren't thinking of letting these delinquents join out outstanding team, are you?"

Caesar seized the sheet of paper and glared at Sodoko. "Yeah, I am. They were the only two to sign up at our table. Aki is deaf though and mainly wants an excuse to hang out at the garage, so Laikei will likely be joining. Is that a problem?"

Everyone was quiet as they stared at Caesar, Sodoko being the first to speak after a few minutes. "Neither of them will be able to pass this year! Laikei keeps getting into fights and never listens to the dress code while Aki never hands in her schoolwork, not to mention they are the only two later to school than Reizei! It's only thanks to the kindness in my heart that neither has been kicked out yet!"

"Fascinating, but I don't care about your opinion; or did you forget that they aren't the only ones who completely ignore the school dress code?" Caesar hissed, a spiteful edge in her voice as she narrowed a glare at the Public moral committee head.

At that Sodoko backed away, not scared, but surprised. She had gotten so used to the other teams, she almost completely forgot three of said teams didn't listen to the school dress code either. And the member of one of those teams they were trying to fill in for just happen to get more dress code violations than the others on her team.

"I suggest you start picking your words more carefully, lest you evoke our wrath." Caesar stated, standing up with her sheet of paper. "Seeing as Akita is the only one with the ability to join our team out of the two who signed up, I'll be having her join Hippo team. No need to worry about the paperwork, I'll handle that. As for Yuka, don't be surprised if you see her hanging around the garage." With that, Caesar grabbed her bag, and walked to the door, turning to the team before leaving. "I sincerely hope you all don't mind such things, and I hope you have a good night." Her voice was icy and distant as she walked out the door, the only reason it didn't slam shut being because of the door stop at the top.

Caesar stormed out of the school and began her walk home. It was…too quiet for her liking. "Well, might as well complain about Sodoko and her audacity. I mean, all four of us know we are breaking the dress code, and we don't care because nobody else cares. At least, not enough to do anything about it. So why is she so bothered by those two?! I mean, she has bigger problems than those two I'm sure!" Laughter caught Caesar's attention as she was walking. It came from a nearby corner store. Looking around, she saw it was three girls surrounding something on the ground.

Just as she was about to voice her presence, Akita came out of the store and saw the three girls. "Hey! You three! I thought I told ya last time to scram and never come back!" Her voice cracked with fury as she dropped her bags and charged at the three girls, who jumped back before running away from Akita. "AND DON'T 'CHA EVER RETURN!" It was then that Caesar realized the thing on the ground was Yuka. Paper was scattered everywhere and Sodoko's words rang in her ears.

"Well, that explains many things." Caesar stated, before continuing on her way home as if she saw nothing. The rest of her walk home was mostly uneventful, save getting startled by a stray calico jumping out of a garbage can, but it was no real surprise that the school ship had cats everywhere. As Caesar entered her shared home, she failed to notice the blond woman standing in front of her gate, with cat ears and glasses.

"She has three friends. All are at risk. Don't you agree Jingo?" The woman asked a calico cat as it approached. The cat gave the woman a disdainful look before trotting off. The woman hummed before vanishing into thin air.

I'm really subtle with names, aren't I? And personalities too, right? Ha ha! (Wow, much sarcasm). Anyways, yeah this chapter was...hard to end. I felt like it was too short, but I literally had nothing else to add that would work. Also, Jingo and Miss Katze are going to be important. Katze is going to be hanging around Oorai, Caesar, Saemonza, and Oryou for a while. Writing the beginning was fun because a lot of people like to portray these four as really cool and super serious and I'm just sitting here like "These four are nerds and can get so bitter when pressed."

Anyways, Sodoko has already felt the wrath of Hippo team once, that is not something she wants to face again. Hippo team does not make empty threats. Also, I had way too much fun writing their dialogue in the first part of this chapter. Their tank gets hit in the side quite a bit in the anime, and I can only imagine how annoying it must be for them to almost CONSTANTLY end up getting flipped when they try to do something.
