After defeating the last of the Dazzlings, Rimuru, who was carrying Adagio on his shoulder, with her snake body being dragged along the ground, was walking through the forest with Sunset, Twilight and Spike behind him.

All the while, the girls looked a bit worried, as they had just learned that Rimuru had an ability that was just like the magic staff Sunset was holding.

According to Rimuru, his ability not only allowed him to gain the abilities of the creatures he absorbed, but also the look and appearance.

If Rimuru was a slime and could obtain human form, then that meant…

Determined to get answers, Sunset decided to ask the question.

"Lord Rimuru, can I ask you a question?" asked Sunset before the three stopped their walk.

"Go ahead." said Rimuru turning to look at them.

"I-If what you said is true and you can get the appearance of what you absorb… Given your current appearance, does that mean you… absorbed a human?" asked Sunset.

"It's not that we think badly of you, it's just that we're curious." said Twilight hoping that question wouldn't bother him.

Rimuru knew that question could come at any time, so he didn't look bothered by it.

"Yes, I absorbed a human." confirmed Rimuru to the girls' surprise. "But I did it because she asked me to." said Rimuru to the girls' confusion.

"She?" asked Sunset.

"Her name was Shizue Izawa. Unlike me, she wasn't a reincarnate, she was summoned to this world through a summoning spell by the Demon Lord Leon Cromwell. However, he didn't exactly want to summon her, so he considered her a failed experiment, but in the end, he had the fire spirit, Ifrit, possess her so that she wouldn't succumb to the instability of her magic. That's how she became a majin." said Rimuru.

"Majin?" asked Spike.

"It's the general term for humanoids who arose from magical energy, as well as humans who absorbed enough magical energy. For years, she was Leon's assistant until one day, he abandoned her and a heroine known as Chronoa, took her in as her disciple and gave her a mask that would allow her to control the spirit within her." said Rimuru.

The girls and the dog stood quietly, listening intently to that girl's story.

"Years later, Chronoa left and Shizue became a well-known adventure in the world. One day, she and a group of adventurers came to this forest and it was there that we met and after learning our stories, we became friends despite the short time." said Rimuru.

Sunset and Twilight couldn't help but smile knowing that the two of them became good friends despite the short time they knew each other.

"However, Ifrit managed to take control of her body because Shizue was no longer able to contain him. Fortunately, she used what was left of her will to separate her body from the spirit. I managed to defeat the spirit and devour it, but Shizue's body was now too fragile and would soon die. So, as a last wish, she asked me to let her rest inside me instead of being buried in this world she hated. If I have this form, it is because she trusted me to the end and that I would make this world a better place." said Rimuru.

Sunset and Twilight had been shedding tears.

Feeling very sorry for that girl who was summoned by accident and lived a very hard life until in the end, she died.

"I'm so sorry. It must have been so hard." said Twilight wiping away her tears.

"It was, but I can't let that torture me forever. That's why I'm trying to improve my city, to make this world a place where people like Shizue don't have to suffer." said Rimuru with a smile.

"I'm sure she'll be happy for you." said Sunset with a smile.

"She will be. I'm sure of it." said Rimuru.

After that, the group resumed their way to the city.

Later, everyone gathered in the city.

Rimuru and the others led the Dazzlings to a cell where they remained bound and unconscious.

"That's it. They won't hurt anyone in here." said Rimuru.

"What about that look they have? Are they going to stay like that forever?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"Analysis. Their forms were obtained by the staff's power." said Raphael.

"I have a solution for that. Sunset, may I?" asked Rimuru extending his hand towards the said girl.

Sensing what he meant, Sunset approached him and handed him the magic staff.

Rimuru pointed the staff towards the Dazzlings and shot a magic beam that hit them.

A couple of minutes later, the Dazzlings were bathed in a bright light and when it was gone, they were seen in their original, i.e. human form.

"And now, for the final touch." began Rimuru before applying his strength to break the staff into pieces. "This way, it will no longer be a danger to anyone."

"Normally, we would return it to Equestria, but I think it's safer this way." said Sunset.

"Exactly. If Sunset was able to go back and steal a crown from a magical castle, who's to say someone wouldn't steal the staff?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Thanks for reminding me, Pinkie Pie." said Sunset sarcastically as she scowled at the pink-haired girl.

"You're welcome." said Pinkie Pie with a smile.

"I agree. That thing is better broken than put away." said Applejack.

"So, what do we do now?" asked Fluttershy.

"Well, since you have fought so hard for this city and the situation has been resolved… What do you say we celebrate?" asked Rimuru with a smile.

Mane 7 was shocked to hear the humanized slime's suggestion before bursting into cheers as a sign that they were happy about it.

Soon after, the whole city erupted into a big party, with stalls filling the square as the inhabitants were enjoying themselves in various ways.

Some of the food was normal, but there was a time when Shion brought her own food.

Even though it looked horrifying, many went to eat it, not only for the fact that it was delicious thanks to her skill, but so that Shion wouldn't feel bad.

Pinkie Pie spent the time helping to set up some party stuff before getting down to some fun with Gobta and some hobgoblins, she even did a number where she rode a unicycle while juggling, much to the enjoyment of the onlookers.

Fluttershy and Spike hung out with the tempest wolves, including Ranga.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack would hang out challenging people to speed and strength challenges with both hobgoblins and orcs, and needless to say, half of those challenges were won by them.

On occasion, Rainbow Dash was reading some manga with Veldora and needless to say, the rainbow haired girl was starting to find them very interesting, there was even a small fight over a manga between the two of them.

Rarity was hanging out chatting with Garm and Shuna about some fashion designs.

Twilight was talking to Vesta and Gabiru about some science topics.

Sunset was off to the side contemplating how the party was going on.

"Enjoying the party?" asked Rimuru approaching her.

"Honestly, I haven't seen a party of that level before, and I've been to a lot of Pinkie Pie parties." said Sunset.

"That's the thing about parties in this city. When we celebrate something, we celebrate big." said Rimuru.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." said Sunset with a smile.

"Now that I remember, Raphael, how's the transport spell between worlds going?" asked Rimuru.

"Analysis. The spell has completed successfully. Probability of functioning: 100%." said Raphael.

"I see. Thanks, Raphael." thought Rimuru. "Hey, Sunset." began Rimuru catching the girl's attention. "I want you to know that I just completed the spell creation process."

"Wait, you mean the spell that will allow us to return to our world?" asked Sunset.

"Exactly." said Rimuru.

Immediately, a big smile formed on Sunset's face before she gave the humanized slime a hug, much to his surprise.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" began Sunset before breaking the hug. "I'd better go warn the others."

"Okay, but try to enjoy yourselves, as this isn't just a party to celebrate our victory, but to celebrate that this is your last day here." said Rimuru.

"We will." said Sunset before going to tell her friends the big news, leaving behind Rimuru who watched, with a smile, the girl leave.

The party lasted all night long and the whole square was full of unconscious monsters on the floor, either from exhaustion or alcohol.

Luckily, there was one group that had been spared from ending up in such a situation and that group was near the city hall, as the process of creating the portal that would allow the Mane 7, as well as the imprisoned Dazzlings, who were still unconscious, to return to their world was about to take place.

Of course, none of them were going to leave without saying goodbye to the people they had befriended.

"Oh, I'm going to miss you so much, Ranga." said Fluttershy hugging the horned wolf while crying a little.

"Come on, don't be sad." said Ranga.

Fluttershy broke the hug and wiped her tears with her arm.

"Will you at least… let me pet you one last time?" asked Fluttershy with puppy eyes.

"*Sigh* Okay, but just for the situation." said Ranga.

With a small toothy grin, Fluttershy started petting the horned wolf and scratching behind his ears.

That made Ranga start panting from the pleasure before falling backwards to the ground.

"Oh, who's a good little doggy? Who's a good little monster doggy?" asked Fluttershy as she scratched Ranga's belly.

Despite the situation, Ranga didn't object to it, as he knew it was the only thing that would cheer Fluttershy up.

"Thank you so much for the gifts, Shuna. I wish I could return the gesture." said Rarity, who had a couple of bags.

"No need. You already did by giving Garm and me tips." said Shuna.

"Well, in that case, I hope you make great designs in the future." said Rarity.

"Same here. Speaking of that, before you go, I'd like your opinion on one thing." said Shuna.

"Of course, dear, what is it?" asked Rarity.

"Which outfit would look best on Lord Rimuru?" asked Shuna holding up a pair of outfits, one being a Victorian era maid's outfit and the other a country girl's outfit.

"Mmm." expressed Rarity with a finger to her chin. "They're both fine, but I think the maid's would look better on him. Not only would it match her hair and eyes, but it would also look really cute on her."

"I understand. Thanks for the advice." said Shuna.

"Anytime." said Rarity.

Rainbow Dash couldn't help but laugh at the conversation they were having while Rimuru was annoyed and embarrassed.

"Why do they have to talk about it here? They ruin the mood." thought Rimuru.

"It was nice meeting you, Geld." said Applejack shaking hands with the orc.

"Likewise and thanks for the help on the construction sites. Your family is lucky to have you." said Geld.

"Thank you." said Applejack blushing slightly at the compliment.

"I have to say it. What you did yesterday fighting Aria was mind-blowing. You have to teach me how to do that." said Rainbow Dash.

"If you really want to perform that technique, you'll need to train a lot." said Hakuro.

"I accept the challenge. Next time we meet, will you train me?" asked Rainbow Dash.

Hakuro smiled at the rainbow haired girl's enthusiasm and determination.

"Fine, I will, but you better not regret it or I'll have to teach you a lesson." said Hakuro.

"I won't, master. Don't worry." said Rainbow Dash with a smile, though inside she was a little nervous about that 'lesson' he would give her if she backed out.

"Can I really take this?" asked Twilight holding up a vial filled with blue liquid.

"Consider it a gift from Vesta and me for your fascination with science." said Gabiru.

"Oh, thank you very much. I'll be sure to put it to good use." said Twilight.

"Or a big explosion." muttered Spike.

"What did you say?" asked Twilight suspecting what the dog said.

"Nothing." said Spike before whistling absently as Gabiru chuckled.

"I really don't know how to thank you for all you've done for us, Lord Rimuru. We will be eternally grateful to you." said Sunset.

"Don't worry about that. I may be a Demon Lord, but I always help anyone who needs it." said Rimuru with a smile.

"You know? When I come back, I'll tell Twilight about you and this city. Maybe the day will come when you two will meet." said Sunset.

"And I'll be waiting for that moment." said Rimuru.

It was then that they both noticed Pinkie Pie standing off to the side looking up at the sky.

"Pinkie Pie, what are you doing?" asked Sunset confused.

"Oh, I'm just waiting for a visitor." said Pinkie Pie.

"A visitor?" asked Rimuru confused.

"There it is!" said Pinkie Pie pointing to the sky.

They both turned their gaze to the sky to see something swooping towards them.

"PINKIE!"

Rimuru's eyes widened in horror as he recognized that voice and grabbed Sunset to pull her away just as that something impacted hard on the ground in front of Pinkie Pie, sending up a wave of dust and wind in the process.

By the time the smoke cleared, Milim could be seen kneeling in the center of the crater it formed on arrival.

Milim stood up and as she raised her head, she showed that she was crying a lot.

"Pinkie!" exclaimed Milim before approaching Pinkie Pie. "Don't go, please!" begged Milim as she cried.

"Milim?! What are you doing here?" asked Rimuru.

"I wrote her a letter telling her that we would be leaving today and that I would like her to come and say goodbye." said Pinkie Pie.

"Since when do you correspond with a Demon Lord?" asked Sunset.

"Since the day we met." said Pinkie Pie.

"And why didn't you inform me about that?" asked Rimuru.

"You didn't ask." said Pinkie Pie with a smile.

"Sunset was right. That girl is unpredictable." thought Rimuru patting his face.

"Warning. That girl defies all logic." said Raphael.

"But I don't want you to leave! Are you leaving because you don't want to be my bestie?" asked Milim as she cried.

"Of course I don't. Don't talk nonsense. I'm leaving because I have to go back to my home" said Pinkie Pie.

"Then... *Snif* If you leave... *Snif* We won't be besties anymore." said Milim.

"Oh, don't say that. Of course we'll still be besties" said Pinkie Pie.

"Really?" asked Milim.

"Of course. We'll still be besties no matter what world we're in or how much time it will give the author to think about making a sequel to this story." said Pinkie Pie.

"What?" asked Rimuru and Sunset in unison.

Milim continued to shed tears, but this time, they weren't of sadness, but of happiness.

"YES! WE WILL BE BESTIES FOREVER!" said Milim giving Pinkie Pie such a tight hug that it was rare for her bones not to break.

"Well of course." began Pinkie Pie escaping Milim's hug, much to her surprise. "And as a token of friendship, I give you this." said Pinkie Pie pulling out of nowhere a huge cannon. "My new confetti cannon is now your confetti cannon."

"You're giving it to me? Really?" asked Milim before a huge toothy grin formed on her face and she hugged the cannon. "Hooray! I have a new toy!"

"Something tells me Milim and a cannon are a very dangerous combination." thought Rimuru.

"Analysis. Adding the power of Milim plus the power of Pinkie Pie's illogic of a cannon…" said Raphael.

"You don't need to calculate it!" thought Rimuru.

With all the goodbyes done, Mane 7 stood in front of the group, with Rimuru between them and the others.

The human slime extended his arm and began to cast the spell.

A series of symbols tucked into a ring with a star in the center formed on the ground with luminous lines.

Then, a sort of transparent barrier formed around the ring.

As confusing as it looked, the girls knew that this was the spell that would return them to their world.

Sunset gave Rimuru a smile and a farewell wave before she and the others suddenly disappeared along with the ring and the rest.

Rimuru smiled, for even though they were gone, he would never forget them.

"Hey, Rimuru."

Rimuru turned his head to see Milim hugging the cannon.

"Do you think we'll meet more people who will befriend us?" asked Milim curiously.

"Who knows, Milim. Who knows." said Rimuru looking up at the sky, thinking about how many worlds he could see and what kinds of people lived on them.

AN: And here we end my first Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken crossover.

I hope I was up to the task.

Anyway, as mentioned at the end, this won't be the last adventure Rimuru and company will have with people from other worlds.
