Me: Hey there all! Looks like you all get a double update today! Yay you! Anywho, I promise chapter 6 will be done soon and up as soon as it's finished. In the mean time please R&R!
Matron walked back into the room as soon as she was finished talking to Mimi. Allen looked over at her as she walked in. Taking a deep breath the blond stepped over to the silverette. He looked up at her with a quizzical look. Matron waited for another second before opening her mouth.
"Allen, I hate to do this to you after you just woke up but a few people are coming to see you. One of them you know already. Do you remember Mimi?" Matron asked.
"I think so, yes. She has wavy teal hair and brown eyes right?" Allen said with a nod.
"Yes. She's coming to see you." Matron said smiling and sitting down in the chair beside his bed.
"Wonderful. I'll be glad to see her again." the silverette said with a smile.
"Good. Now, the other people are the most important people in the Order. I know this may be a pointless warning but don't be rude." green eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at Allen.
"Let me guess: the Generals, right?" the teen asked shifting back slightly.
"How-?" Matron began looking surprised.
"I'm an Exorcist, I know about the Generals. I'll be on my best behavior." Allen said tilting his head to the side.
Matron nodded and got up when she heard a knock on the door. Giving Allen one last look she walked over to the door. Mimi was the first one in; she flashed past the blond woman the second the door was open. She dropped down into the chair beside Allen and immediately started asking him a million and two questions. Allen did his best to answer a lot of her questions but a few of them slipped past him. Finally one of the Generals put a hand on her shoulder. Mimi stopped and looked up at the woman.
"Please, Mimi, give him a break." the woman said with a motherly smile.
"Yes, General Reece," Mimi replied, bowing her head to the general, "I'm sorry, Allen."
"It's alright, Mimi. I'm used to dealing with hyperactive people." Allen replied with a small smile.
"Well, I hate to interrupt but we really must speak with you." one of the male Generals said coming up beside General Reece.
"Very well. I would like to know who you are first though. It is only polite." the silverette said cocking his head to the side a bit.
"Sorry about him. He's a bit of a grouch. I'm Daniella Reece, to my right is Andre Green, she is Vivian Livelia, and that man over there is Demetri Gray. It's nice to meet you." Daniella said holding out her hand to Allen.
"Nice to meet you all. I'm Allen Walker but you already knew that." Allen said taking the woman's hand.
Andre huffed and shook the white haired teen's hand after Daniella stepped back. The other Generals came over also shaking the teen's hand before moving to sit around the room. Once they were all settled in Andre stepped closer to Allen. The silver haired teen looked up at the black haired general calmly, waiting for him to speak.
"Allen Walker, we have a few questions for you." he said, folding his arms behind his back.
"I figured that you did. Why else would you come to see me so soon?" Allen replied with a smile.
"You little...!" Andre hissed but stopped when Daniella placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Andre, calm down. Remember why we're here." she said calmly.
"Fine," Andre sighed before looking back at Allen, "We need to talk to you about how you ended up here and why. The records are a little... undefined."
"Oh, that's relatively easy." Allen said, giving the man a smile.
"How so?" he asked motioning for someone to take notes.
Allen smiled softly as he watched Vivian pulled a pad and a pen out of her coat pocket. She walked over, standing behind Andre with the pen poised to write. At her nod the silver haired teen began speaking. He started with the fight between his friends and the Noah. Vivian interrupted him every few moments so he could repeat something and so that she could keep up. Allen was more than happy to oblige any questions she had and the whole impromptu interview took about two hours, that included the interruptions. When Allen got the the part about the strange Gate the whole room went silent. They all listens to him attentively as he described the Gate and the black space beyond. Mimi and Daniella both shared a look of concern as he finished the story.
"Well, after I was pulled out of the water you know that rest of the story." Allen said with a small shrug.
"No shit, Sherlock." Andre muttered leaning back in his chair more.
Allen gave him a slightly hurt look causing the dark haired man to shift uncomfortably in his chair. The moment passed quickly, however, when Daniella came and sat beside him. Apparently she had seen the hurt look and her maternal instincts kicked in. She sat beside him for a few seconds before putting a hand on his shoulder. Giving her a grateful look the silverette turned back to the others. Vivian gave Allen a small smile and Demetri nodded at him. Even Mimi gave him a bright smile and a thumbs up. It seemed that Andre was the only one of the group to even think about wanting to upset Allen. After a few seconds of getting glared at Andre threw up his hands and muttered a soft apology.
"It's alright, Andre." the silverette said with a soft smile.
"No, Allen, it's not alright. We would like you to like us and not feel that we are going to degrade at you every opportunity. That is not what
we want." Daniella said looking at the teen with worry in her eyes.
"I understand that. That is just my way of forgiving people. It's just how I act." Allen replied with a small smile.
"Are you sure?" Vivian asked, stepping foreword a bit.
"Yes, I'm sure." the silverette replied.
The others smiled back at him and the whole room relaxed. Mimi piped up after a few moments, claiming Allen's undivided attention. The four Generals watched in amazement as the teen sat listening to the teal haired girl ramble on and on. He sat there listening to her ramble for who knows how long, nodding at the appropriate times. How he managed to not snap at her was beyond anyone. Anyone else would have snapped or hit the girl on the head to make her stop talking. After a few moments the four generals looked at each other and nodded. Daniella cleared her throat lightly, grabbing Allen and Mimi's attention. Both of them turned to look at the Indian woman with expectant eyes.
"Allen," she said after a few seconds, "There is something I would like to ask you."
"What is it, General Reece?" the teen asked, sitting up a bit straighter.
"Please call me Daniella and I was going to ask if you would consider becoming the fifth General of the Black Order."
