The others looked at Violet and Raina with a bit of shock and bewilderment. But the feeling didn't last long as Tiana spoke up

"She's right. Besides, we don't know anyone else who knows how to work the equipment."

"Yeah Ti, but we haven't used the equipment much let alone catch any ghosts with it." William replied.

"Well, what other choice do we have?" Julian said, "It's either that or watch the world end."

The group looked at each other. They knew very well that they were gonna have to do this themselves because if not, they would probably never see their parents again.

"It's a crazy idea, but I'm in." Pedro declared.

"Me too." Maleah added.

"Me three." Daniel piped.

"Alright, here's what we're gonna do." Violet said as she stood up, "Raina, you and Tiana do a little research on Keizer to see who we're dealing with. Will, you, Mel, and Pedro get out all the equipment we'll need. And Ryan, J, and Daniel, you guys help me make some size adjustments to the proton packs."

"Sounds good Vi." Ryan replied as he turned to his friends, "Let's do this."

And with that, the kids split up to work on the tasks they'd been assigned.

Meanwhile in Keizer's palace, the Chicago Ghostbusters and the others were getting exhausted. Spending hours in a demon's hellish home was beginning to take its toll. The souls of Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston were now hanging in ethereal chains suspended from the ceiling. Their wives looked helplessly as they saw their husbands hanging in chains at the mercy of a powerful demon.

"I can't believe what Keizer did to them." Jenny said hoarsely, clearly dehydrated. Her blonde hair was a mess, her bright blue eyes were slightly red from crying, and dark circles were forming under her eyes.

Me too." Janine said, "Who knows what's going to happen them, us, and...and the kids."

"Oh God." Dana said, "Who knows what going to happen to them if we don't come back."

"We gotta get out." Tiyah said, "We have to get back to our kids."

Evil laughter rang out from the shadows. "I'm afraid that's not possible Tiyah Zeddemore." Keizer said, "You all are my hostages. You aren't going anywhere. And there's no one to help you."

"He's got a little bit of point Tiyah." Jenny said, "He has all the Ghostbusters."

"Plus, I think these chains have some magic running through them, so picking at the locks won't work." Kylie added looking a bit worse for wear.

The four distraught women looked over at where the souls of Peter, Ray, Winston, and Egon where hanging. Keizer was standing in front of, clearly pleased with the sight.

"Look at you." the demon said, amusement lacing his voice, "The once all powerful Ghostbusters now just weak souls strung up in chains."

"When we get out of these chains, you're gonna regret messing with us!" Peter yelled.

Keizer laughed. "Oh I'm not so sure of that Dr. Venkman."

"What do you want from us?" Egon asked.

"That is not your concern Dr. Spengler." Keizer growled as his blood red eyes bore into Egon's icy blue eyes. He then floated over to the souls of Ray and Winston.

"Anything you two want to say?" Keizer asked.

"Yeah, whatever you do, don't go after our children." Ray warned with angry tone.

"Yeah, hurt them and we will give you a date worse than the containment unit." Winston added as he swung back and forth in the chains.

Keizer laughed demonically again. "Your children?! They're no threat to me, so why would I go after them."

The winged demon then turned around and exited the throne room.

"What are we going to do Mom?" Oscar asked as he winced, the shackles crushing into his wrists. He looked over at his mother with worried eyes, then over to the soul of his beloved stepfather.

"I...I don't know honey." Dana said mournfully as she looked a the souls of her husband and her friends. "I don't know."

Meanwhile back in New York, the teenagers were busy in the firehall prepping for their mission to save their parents. Violet was in the lab with Ryan and her brothers adjusting some of the proton packs to fit their smaller builds. William and the twins were gathering any other equipment they need such as several ghost traps, PKE meters, proton grenades, ecto goggles, and small mood slime sprayers. And Raina and Tiana were pouring over books and the digital occult library for any information about Keizer.

"Daniel, give me the pliers." Violet said she put a piece of periodic venting on one of the packs.

"Here you go sis." Daniel said as he handed his older sister the pliers.

"Got the equipment ready." Pedro announced as he, Maleah, and William walked up the stairs.

"Nice job guys." Ryan replied as he and Julian adjusted the straps on the packs.

"And...done." Violet said as she pushed the overhead light away and took off her glasses to clean them.

"Nice. Hey Rai, Ti, got anything on our parent abducting friend?" Maleah called

"Took a little bit, but we found something Mel." Raina replied as she and Tiana came into the lab with several books and pieces of paper.

"It's not a whole lot, but it's something." Tiana added as she set the books on the table.

"Yeah, and apparently this guy is a lot more dangerous than we thought." Raina said as she opened Tobin's Spirit Guide to a bookmarked page. "Says here Keizer is a powerful demon. He was once a lieutenant for the Devil and an efficient one. He was a skilled torturer known for his creativity and cruelty. He was also very talented at tracking down and capturing any person the Devil wanted him to find."

"However, Keizer has been known just to abduct people for no reason." Tiana added looking at her notes, "They just disappear."

"Sounds like a lovely guy." Maleah said sarcastically.

"Hey Rai, you said Keizer was a lieutenant of the Devil. Is he not one anymore?" Julian asked.

"Yes, apparently ole Lucifer got tired of Keizer and just kicked him out of Hell." Raina replied reading over the text.

"Why?" Pedro asked.

"No one knows." Raina replied.

"After being banished from Hell, Keizer eventually found himself in the Nether Realm which is separate from Hell." Tiana said as she looked over another book. "He now rules a place in the Nether Realm where it is said he imprisons the souls of those he abducted."

"Seems consistent with all demons." William said as he tweaked a pair of ecto goggles.

"Oh it's gets worse." Ryan said as he looked over one of the books. "Apparently, Keizer is very violent and wrathful. He's been known to vaporize people on a whim and even torture & vaporize the daimons who work for him. As a result, they're terrified of him. And nobody knows exactly how powerful he is or what his abilities are. Legend is is that he has even consumed souls."

"Ok...that's pretty scary." Daniel said.

"So how do we get to him?" asked Violet as she tucked a lock of her dark purplish-brown hair behind her ear.

"Apparently there's a hidden portal that leads to his section of the Nether Realm. And there's a chant to open it." Raina replied, "There's a map of his territory, but it's not very detailed. But if we use it, we can sneak in there, get our parents, and return to New York."

"Well what are we waiting for?" Maleah said, "Let's suit up."

The kids headed down the stair to the garage where the equipment was waiting for them. They weren't used to hearing the firehall so quiet. Usually Janine would be filing paperwork, Winston working on Ecto-1, Ray teaching the 101 class about the different classes of ghosts, and Peter and Egon would be having a little argument over something, or they'd be both doing their own thing. Or all four would be out on a call.

The kids then went over to the lockers. They then put on their fathers' jumpsuits, even though they had to roll up the sleeves and pant legs as the suits were kinda big on them. then slipped on the elbow pads and gloves. Violet decided that Julian and Daniel should use the arm-mounted packs since they were younger. The kids then slipped on the adjusted, but still heavy proton packs. Raina and Ryan put on the ecto-goggles their father wore. Violet, Julian, and Daniel all had PKE meters. The kids then all looked down at the names tags on the jumpsuits: Venkman, Stantz, Spengler, and Zeddemore. They felt proud to be wearing their fathers' uniforms.

"Uh, these things are heavier than I thought." Pedro said as he stumbled after putting the weight of the proton pack on his back.

"Yeah, but you gotta admit we look pretty cool." Maleah replied as she looked in the mirror.

"Alright, I think we're ready." William said before turning to Raina. "Hey Rai, where's the portal to Keizer's realm located anyway."

"Uh, let me look..." Raina replied as she flipped through the book again. Her expression fell as she saw the location. "It's in Central Park."

"Are you kidding, that's halfway across Manhattan!" Daniel exclaimed.

"It'll take several hours to get there on foot, maybe longer with the situation outside." Violet added.

"And I don't think we're gonna catch a cab or ride the subway either in this chaos." Tiana said.

"Well, there is one other option..." Raina said as her two different colored eyes looked at Ecto-1. Despite the Ghostbusters being kidnapped, the car was still there and in one piece.

"You're not seriously suggesting that, are you?" William asked with a quizzical look.

"It's either that or lug this equipment around for several hours to Central Park." Julian said.

"Yeah, I'm with Raina." Pedro said quickly, not wanting to walk that far with a heavy nuclear backpack.

"So...who's driving?" Maleah asked.

The kids all turned and looked at Ryan.

"Why are y'all looking at me?" the 14-year-old asked. It dawned on him. "Wait, why am I the one to drive?"

"Because you're the oldest out of all of us." Raina replied looking at her older brother.

"Yeah, plus you, Uncle Ray, and Dad are always fixing that thing." Tiana added, "And we've seen you going over the driver's handbook."

"Yeah, but I don't turn 15 until July and it's only March." Ryan protested, "Why can't Violet drive, she's smarter than the rest of us."

"Just because I know how to adjust a proton pack doesn't mean I know how to drive a car." Violet replied, narrowing her icy blue eyes.

"Ryan, it's either you drive or you lug all our nuclear powered equipment for several hours." Daniel hissed as he shot Ryan a glare that rivaled his mother's.

Ryan sighed knowing he didn't have much of a choice. "Alright, give me the keys."

William took the car keys off Janine's desk and tossed them to Ryan. The kids opened the back and piled all their equipment in it.

"How many traps should we bring?" Maleah asked.

"Uh, get about a dozen." Violet replied, "We might need to catch some of those daimons before we get to that portal."

After loading everything up, Ryan got into the driver's seat with William riding shotgun and the rest piling in the backseat. Ryan put the keys in the ignition and turned it. The old, but still working hearse roared to life

"Alright ladies and gentleman." Ryan said as he pressed a button that opened the garage doors, "Let's go kick some demonic ass and save our parents!"

The others cheered and wooed in excitement. Ryan turned on the sirens and managed to pull out of the garage without crashing into anything. Then Ecto-1 took off into a city overtaken by spirits.
