"Mmm, so much time and nothing to do."
Digging his razor-sharp claws into a palm tree, Raj pondered his next activity. Despite the phenomenal cosmic object on his head, he was getting bored. It didn't help that whatever he did, onlookers gawked at his appearance.
Couldn't a cat just lay in the sun and show his belly? Or fly into the air to catch some birds? It was like these simpletons had never seen a tiger before - what did they expect of him?
The ordinary folk had no respect for his stature, his presence, his power. Raj knew he needed to be with the elites, the upper class, the cream of the crop. It was only befitting as the king of all cats.
Lost in his thoughts, Raj realized he had reduced the palm tree to mere twigs. "Oh my. I'll have to leave a note for the landscaper."
He wondered for a moment how to use this mask's powers - as he did so, his body suddenly shifted into an orange, black and green tornado that darted through the streets.
Coming to a stop, Raj found himself outside the Fujairah embassy - which, he remembered, was the site of the big state dinner. If only he had a ticket in.
By surprise, a black bow tie and turban appeared around Raj's green head. Well, he had the look now, if only he could charm his way in.
As guests made their way through the doors, he confidently strode up to security. "Table for one, my good man." Raj purred, eyes flashing an hypnotic yellow.
Success! Raj was in, security giving him a dazed look as he made his way to the ballroom. Inside, he took his seat with the other guests, awaiting the arrival of the royal families.
"Esteemed guests, please welcome the sultan of Agrabah and the emir of Fujairah!"
Taking the stage with her father, Jasmine followed the same routine she had done hundreds of times before - smile and wave, show happiness and pride in every act. Another boring diplomatic dinner, there would be another one soon enough. But as she looked into the audience, something caught her eye.
At one chair, there was not a human clapping their hands - rather, it was a tiger clapping their paws, looking perfectly comfortable at a table with seven other people. Most shockingly, its head was bright green and rubber-like, a look Jasmine had become all too familiar with.
Even though it was a massive break in protocol, Jasmine jumped off the stage and ran in the tiger's direction, a single word trailing behind her.
"RAJAH?!?!?!?"
