Chapter 47: Hibari's... Prank?

There were many things the Vongola would do for fun. One thing that no-one had ever thought of, aside from delusional fangirls, was getting Hibari to prank his graduating class at his high school reunion. However...

'I didn't know Hibari SANG! Quick, get the camera!'

he did.

"Omnivore... did you get the film?" Hibari asked. Tsuna gave him a Mukuro worthy grin followed by 'happy' Reborn worthy laughter. It was a horrifying sound that most would say should never come from Tsuna. Ever. (These were also the people who thought he lived off salad and cake and looked after orphans for a living[the fact that he did rather enjoy cake and had a habit of taking in orphans might have had something to do with that. Maybe.]) Still, that was the only appropriate response to Hibari's question.

"Why yes, I did. Would you like to review it, Hibari-san?" the Vongola Decimo asked, holding up a flash drive. For some odd reason, a menacing piano theme started playing over the PA System. ('Good job on the Theme Song software, Shoichi.' 'Why doesn't that make me feel better, Spanner?')

"Yes. Roll the tape!" Hibari ordered, eyes glinting with... was that... non-blood thirsty amusement? Huh. Who knew the Hibari Kyoya was capable of such an expression? The auditorium of Namimori High School during their ten-year reunion began playing on the screen. The assembled former students had mixed expressions, though shock and fear were quite prevalent. Then came the music... and Hibari's voice singing along to 'senbonzakura.' The... actually... Tsuna wasn't quite sure why a good portion of the female population of the auditorium began to let out high pitched 'kya~!'s, but they did.

"Ah, the sound of my adoring fans. Thanks for finding that video on youtube, Omnivore. I haven't had this much fun since you banned torture as an interrogation method," Hibari informed his 'boss.' Tsuna was fairly sure Chrome would have put a rather large sweatdrop on the back of his head at the remark.

"You're... welcome?" He was beginning to wonder why he'd done this.

Tsuna would never admit to being the mastermind behind it. No-one knew. Expect the Guardians and Reborn. And to them he admitted, he had no idea what he had been drinking when he showed it to Hibari and even less of an idea why the bloodthirsty Skylark hadn't 'bitten him to death' on the spot. Hibari never told, and never has. But, in the end, the punch bowl had ended up spiked with Vodka and everyone had passed out. When they come too, they believed it all to be a dream, and Tsuna believed it just as well they do. If they had remembered it had been all too real... well... Tsuna wasn't going to pay for the clean up once Hibari got through with them. Said Skylark had confiscated the various devices that could have recorded his performance and wiped them, but not before making sure he had a video of the class' reaction. After all, what good is a prank if you can't look back on it and laugh at other people's expense? A normal, non-Vongola style prank, that's what.

A/N: This was an old one that got stalled because there were others I wanted to put ahead of it. Still, hope you enjoyed the OOCness!

Ah, Hibari, we love your sadistic personality. Though even I will admit, Hibari would never do that. Not without outside influence. And then he'd bite anyone who might see it to death. Then blow up the server that housed the digital evidence. And dance on the ashes. Okay, maybe not the last part, but you get the idea. Caio!

A/N 2: Ya know... in light of my recent discovery of the video being removed... my theory about Hibari's reaction seems eerily correct, doesn't it? Just... think about that for a moment.

Okay! Moment over. Here's the youtube tag for Mukuro dancing to senbonzakura instead, plus... I think he's actually singing it. Enjoy!
