Chapter 12
Michiru was unsure what happened, one minute she was fast asleep, and the next she was in a white fuku with an ocean-colored skirt.
Tagashi awoke at the same time rubbing his eyes as he saw his oldest child transform into sailor Neptune. "Michiru?" he said in shock. She turned to him and looked as perturbed as he felt.
"Papa," she said, "I think Haruka is really hurt, she would never miss registration," she finished, her voice full of emotion.
Tagashi nodded. They joined hands and in a flash of turquoise light, the apartment stood empty as the pair were sucked into the darkness of teleportation. Once they landed in Haruka's guest house, Tagashi felt the need to sit down. It had been a long time since he had been sucked into teleport and he had forgotten about the disoriented feeling after. Meanwhile his daughter, after steadying herself, ran straight towards her love's bedroom.
Nothing could have prepared her for the sight of her soulmate; she had cuts and bruises marking her whole body. Michiru almost wanted to wretch. Burns covered her chest and leg, and one arm had along gash.
"Do not tell Zerua that Haruka was barely alive when I healed her internal injuries. Mamoru and Usagi will be here shortly to heal the rest," a familiar voice said. Sailor Neptune's eyes wandered from her love and she noticed a man with long brunette hair and a small dragon asleep on his knee.
"Nephrite?" she dared to ask. The teen nodded. "What happened to my Haruka? How are you alive? Is Jupiter Okay?" The questions that swarmed her head just came out in a massive torrent.
Nephrite paused as he glanced at his future cousin-by-marriage and started with the easiest question. "Haruka was thrown against a general from the dark kingdom. The witch is now resurrecting prehistoric animals and giving them the ability to talk and wield power. Haruka took a high-ranking general down, from what I saw in my mind's eye before she destroyed it, the thing was a half lion and half dragon. She had to use one of her big attacks; one she should not have gotten until she got the power of eternal status, but here we are now, she almost destroyed herself.
The Dragon is Zerua, she is Haruka's guardian. Her bonded will soon come to you," he then paused, unsure whether to explain how he was healed. "We awoke in the dark kingdom and made our escape. I don't know about Makoto. I can feel her, but it's distant like someone or something is draining her power," he tried to explain it but he was worried.
"Go find her Nephrite, myself and papa will take care of 'Ruka and Zerua until they get here and besides Ryujin will be here soon I can feel him," and then she sat next to Haruka and took the Senshi's hand.
Nephrite nodded and was then gone. "'Ruka, Ruka-Koi" Michiru coaxed and the blonde sniveled.
"It hurts," she whimpered.
"Sh, sh, Ssshh, my love I know" Michiru wanted to cry, but her love needed her more. "Just once let me take care of you," Michiru walked around to the unoccupied side of the bed before she laid down, she noticed a bottle of her favourite perfume and almost laughed. Now she knew why Haruka was probably still out for the count, she always slept better when she could smell Michiru.
"Koneko? Tears do not suit such a beautiful face, why do you cry such tears?" she whimpered
Michiru wanted to weep because her love was hurting and she was dreaming of the princess again. They both had dreamed of her before today but they did not really remember what happened. Now they had awakened, the soul link would come forth again and to some degree especially the outer Senshi, if they ever lost her their hope would be gone as would the worlds.
"Haruka, we will see her soon. I promise my love." she was coming and she was furious. Why was she furious? She was sure they were about to find out.
Unknown region
The dragon god soared and climbed, time was creeping up on them and this time they would not leave their charges to battle unless it was with them. They had made that mistake before and there were so many needless deaths. His own wife and child had perished then but they had been reborn, but had not yet reformed their bond so their first child, the one that would be born not long before their charges first child would live and so would they.
In the seating room
The overwhelming nausea that had hit Tagashi had finally abated enough that he could stand to check in on his daughter and future daughter-in-law, when a little blonde and a male appeared.
"I, I know you," he said as he felt the urge to kneel before the beauty before him. She giggled, and it was like the twinkling of bells.
"Of course you do, but right now one of my senshi is hurt and I must heal her. Will you go with north knight? Your wife and daughter are waiting."
He saw a silver-haired teen in a white general's uniform and recognized earth's leading general. It was then he recognized the little blonde and Tagashi gasped. In all the excitement he had forgotten his strange dream. His wife needed him, his youngest daughter too. He nodded, although he wasn't keen on teleporting again but he supposed the more often he did it, the less it would affect him.
"Hai, although I am not too keen on it." The young princess nodded at Tagashi's affirmative and in a flash of light they were gone.
Now Usagi was going to heal her distant cousin and then she was going to take them to Elysion.
England
Kunzite ran through the streets after taking Tagashi to Japan. He needed to find and save his soulmate but time was running out and he didn't know if he would make it. There was a loud screeching sound and a crashing sound and Kunzite felt his heart stop.
"Minako!" he let out an anguished sob he hoped she wasn't too hurt and picked up his pace at an inhuman speed. Time was his enemy right now and at some point he would have to apologize to Setsuna but only if she was okay.
Soon enough he saw a crowd gathering and the flash of blonde hair on the pavement. "Minako" he cried out again, the whimper he heard sent washes of relief through him although she was very hurt she was alive.
Soon enough she was in his arms "you may do more damage sir." a woman approached them. Kunzite shook his head. He knew his wife although it was fragmented he could still feel the soul bond.
"No she has a broken leg and arm and a couple of broken ribs one just missed her heart," Kunzite said knowing that people would probably be wondering how he knew when he was clearly too young to be a doctor he looked maybe eighteen/ nineteen at the max he checked the car for any survivors and there was no one there. Kunzite took charge not only had his girl been hurt, the spineless person that hurt her was gone. "Look for anyone with any superficial injuries, they will not get away from me." Some of the crowd scattered looking for the beautiful girls possible assailant.
"Minako, Minako" two voices shouting in rapid Japanese and a third in English he recognised one of the voices as her adviser, the other two he gathered were her parents.
"Is my baby okay?" the woman spoke first.
Kunzite nodded "nothing that the princess can't heal.
"So it's good news then." the man spoke in English
"She is still pretty hurt sir, I can feel it if she wasn't a warrior and connected to me this crash may have damn well killed her"
"Kunzite.." there was the name he was waiting for; he knew the adviser's fur would be standing on end. He made eye contact with the green eyes of the stunning white Tom.
"Before you claw my face off lord Artemis I would like to safely transport Mina and her family to Elysion. Your wife will be there soon.
"Low ball Kunzite, don't think this talk is over." Artemis said and in a flash of light they were gone. The crowd that had gathered looked on in shock wondering what on earth had happened a green haired warrior appeared and waved her rod in a silent whoosh and soon apart from the ones that had gone to search for the one who ran over her warrior sister everyone went back to their lives wondering why there was a beat up car in the middle of the street.
