Gentle tapping on the window roused Harry from his deep slumber as he woke up and took stock of his surroundings.

Dudley's second bedroom was not one he had ever expected to see again after the last time he had seen the Dursleys in his past life, quickly getting up and checking his reflection he was greeted with his scrawny injured 14-year-old self.

The tapping continued as he walked over to let Hedwig take the letter she offered, just as 2 more owls flew into his room.

Just as they had in his original timeline his friends had sent him birthday wishes along with some cake and treats. This time around he felt a lot more critical of the food sent by Molly or Ginny. Thankfully he knew one thing for sure there would be no need for him to eat any food they had sent. This time around there was going to be no rationing of food, no abuse from the Dursleys, and most certainly no manual labor to 'earn his keep' if they wanted any of that work done they would need to do it by themselves and that was that.

Grabbing a notebook Harry quickly jotted down all he could remember happening and everything that he needed to get in order as soon as possible.

Making sure the locations of the Horcruxes were first to go down along with all the events of his fourth year that would be the most prevalent to him and the changes he wanted to make early on Imposter-Moody casting the unforgivables on students was high on his not to happen this time if it could be stopped list.

Prying his floorboard up he placed the food and card in there before retrieving his wand and a few hidden galleons from under his invisibility cloak grateful to his 14-year-old self for being smart enough to swap his real wand and for a fake when Uncle Vernon confiscated all of his magical supplies.

Taking his supplies he headed out of his room and exited the house. He gave one last look back at it, with any luck his days here would be extremely numbered, even after all his time away there was certainly no love lost for the place that had caused him such pain and torment.

Holding his wand out just as he had in what technically was last year but was really his third year he summoned the night bus paying for his fair to take him to the Leaky Cauldron where he would get access to Diagon Alley. The bus was just as he remembered it bopping, weaving, and warping through traffic to the mad ramblings of the drivers.

His stomach gave a heave of relief as the bus finally came to a stop when they arrived at the leaky cauldron. Harry quickly donned his invisibility cloak making his way to the back wall and tapping the pattern Hagrid had shown him all of those years ago into the old stone. The bricks shifted over to reveal a familiar doorway leading to the quaint collection of shops he had come to love so much.

Luckily the alley was not very busy that day so navigating between the crowds of people undetected beneath the cloak was rather easy with only a few near bumps along the way. The large white columns of the bank guided him forward and kept his mind set on his mission.

He removed the cloak as he entered the bank, happy to be able to enter the bank at all again. In his last time, his theft of the dragon and compromising of the bank's integrity was not a transgression easily forgotten by the Goblins and after the war, they had not allowed him easy access without multiple escorts and a lot of snarls. Putting the past out of his mind for the moment He looked around setting his eyes on an empty tellers booth with a familiar-looking goblin. Making up his mind he walked confidently up to the table making eye contact with the Goblin seated above him.

"Um hello I am sorry sir but I need to access my vault and I have no key. I also was hoping to make an appointment to speak to someone responsible for managing my accounts." He said nervously not sure if that was really the way to request such a thing.

"Alright, Mr. Potter we will need to verify your identity before we go any further. Can you please put three drops of blood on this parchment?" The goblin requested with a bored sigh as he passed Harry a piece of parchment and a small ornate needle to prick his finger with.

Harry pricked his finger letting the blood pool on the top of the parchment. The blood seemed to spread taking over the whole paper and turning it red before dissipating to show his full name and family tree.

"Thank you, Mr. Potter, now that that is out of the way, if you would follow me your account manager is waiting, we have been trying to get in contact with you for years but you have not responded." The Goblin explained in an angry tone believing Harry, like many other wizards, thought himself too good to answer Goblin's mail until it suited him.

"I definitely had not received any letters or messages from you at all, I don't even have my own key to my vault!" Harry said, shocked. In his original timeline he had never received a letter from the Goblins about his account he stupidly didn't even think to ask.

"That is worrisome, to say the least, rest assured we will investigate why you have not been receiving correspondence from us up until now. We will also void all existing keys and issue you a replacement." The goblins' voice took on a much friendlier tone now seeing what seemed to be sincerity in the young man's claims that he had not received any information.

"Thank you very much, sir, I am sorry but what is your name?"

"Um, It is Griphook Mr Potter now come along," The goblin said, absolutely stunned. It was not normal for wizards to request things like a Goblin's name.

The goblin led him away from the main entryway and into what appeared to be the back offices. The doorway in front of the offices had a thick curtain of fog covering it, Harry followed the goblin as he went through the fog. The second the fog touched his skin Harry fell down to the ground feeling weak all of a sudden.

The goblin looked back at him in surprise before shouting to two nearby Goblin guards to get Harry up and into a chair.

"Mr Potter as we have already verified your identity you are not being immediately arrested, however, your reaction to the thief's downfall barrier indicated you have mind-altering enchantments on you and we are legally bound to investigate with or without consent."

"I consent, please help me !" He cried out his head still pounding at the sudden extreme clarity of his thoughts, he hadn't realised just how much the spells and potions were slowing down his thinking and now the speed of his mind was extremely overwhelming.

Griphook quickly called for another goblin to be brought down.

"The pain should subside now Mr Potter but if left untreated whatever magic was used on you will be back in effect as soon as you exit so this must be addressed"

The new goblin entered the room carrying what appeared to be a large box that had a slot running along the top and a dent in the front.

"Mr Potter this box will inform us of any spells and potions that you are under along with an in-depth look at information on all of your inheritances, titles, and assets under your name."

Harry sliced his finger once more and pressed his thumb into the dent on the front of the box before placing it on the table in front of him.

The box began to eject a long strip of parchment out of the slot on its top. As the parchment continued to grow more and more writing appeared on the top of it.

Harry sat looking in complete shock as the box continued to print out a second page of listed items which he assumed must be the inheritance.

Harry noticed Griphook looking at the paper in his hands with a deep curiosity to which he quickly responded by holding the paper out for him to look over as well. The Goblin's jaw dropped open in momentary shock before rapidly recovering and racing to take the paper from him as if it were about to be snacked back.

As he glanced over it, his eyebrows raised in surprise and horror at the growing list below him he had never seen someone under the effect of quite as many spells and potions as the young man before him and the fact that his assailants mostly owed him life debts was just too delicious to even fathom.

The list of inheritances finally stopped printing the goblin once again handed it to Harry to look over.

Once he was done the Goblin happily accepted the documents to read looking over them with a grim fascination it wasn't often Wizards allowed them to read the results so openly and these were particularly delightful in the surprises they held.

"Why would I own all of Hogwarts castle wouldn't the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw descendants own some too?"

"I can see the confusion but no, Godrick Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin jointly funded the school building Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff aided in the charms and setup but did not fund or own it. However, their descendants do still receive a stipend from the school's earnings for their contributions." Griphook explained

"Oh wow. And how would I get more information about the other stuff in the vaults like heirlooms and the shareholdings owed by each family?"

"The forms only provide a base overview as likely each one of those families would have 12 feet of pages to read through on their own, we will need to arrange for you to have a meeting with each of your account holders once you are of age and able to take on your lordships unfortunately right now you can only do a small amount as an heir and we are not able to do much until then."

Just then as if it had been forcibly pushed to the front of his mind Harry remembered the discussion he and Death had had about the Triwizard tournament. It was a contract only for adults so once they forced him into it he would technically be able to be declared of age. Until then he would need to lay low to ensure everything happened as it needed to.

"I know that that is a lot of information but if it's alright I believe it is essential we get some Medi-Goblins to address the findings on this form," Griphoop said emphasizing the word essential.

"I think that would be best Griphook thank you very much" He agreed which caused Griphook to call for one of the nearby guards speaking quickly in gobbledegook Harry had to guess he was instructing him to get the previously mentioned Medi-Goblin because as soon as Griphook stopped speaking the guard turned firmly on his heel and left the room.

"All right he is retrieving our head Medi-Goblin and you will be seen momentarily."
