"Did I do this" Sookie shrieked throwing herself into Eric's arms.

The room was a mess thick with sticky blood that covered the floor and bed but it was but Sookie's clothes that made the scene worse, her tan pants and pink top now look as if she had been bleeding from her pores.

Eric walked over to the bed brushing the corpses hair away from it's face he didn't recognize the young girl and his stomach turned at the site of the gaping hole that was once the right side of her face. Whatever had done this was savage; a beast. He didn't want to believe his Sookie could do such a thing but after the scene between the two of them the evening before he wasn't sure he was the best judge of her character.

Sookie couldn't look at the body, she didn't want to know who it was; god forbid she was able to put a name to the face. After hurting Eric she didn't know what she was doing anymore everything inside of her was telling her she was innocent but the proof was right in front of her she had attacked Levi, smashed in Eric's skull and now here she was covered in blood and in bed with a corpse.

"Do you know her?" Sookie looked at him "I can't, I don't want to look at it," Even as a vampire Sookie couldn't stomach the trauma that had been inflicted on the girl.

"Sookie you need to tell me if you know her so I can try to fix this."

She didn't want to look and surely didn't want to see a chewed up dead body but she had no choice Eric was right; what if this woman had a family or someone that would come looking, what if she was a local, what if it was someone she knew?

Sookie kept her distance and quickly glanced at the body the last thing she wanted was to get close "no I don't know her, relief washed over her but only for a second "do you?"

Eric shook his head no as he pulled a sheet over the body and reached for his phone his phone; she assumed he was calling the clean up crew and she hated that she had caused trouble for him again. She couldn't stand that he was treating her like collateral damage no love, no kisses and when she leapt into his arms instead of him holding her and telling her everything would be alright like he had before she felt his body tense up.

Sookie could feel her knees go weak just before she slumped to the floor holding her head in her hands and sobbing. Obviously her vampire status had done nothing for her ability to deal with dramatic situations. Why didn't she remember what happened it had been almost a years since she had turned and never not once out of all the horrible things she had done did she not remember.

"Eric something is wrong, I didn't do this, I couldn't have"

She pleaded with him to help her but he just stood there looking down at her; his face showing no emotion. Her heart was broken she had lost him he no longer loved her and the look on his face told her he didn't trust her.

Sookie was so lost in her own self pity that she didn't hear the foot steps coming up behind her; she was busy searching his face for any signs of love and it was too late when her skin started to sizzle under the weight of the heavy silver chains.

"Eric" Sookie whispered before closing her eyes and shutting out the pain,

Eric looked away as the uniformed men dragged her limp body from the dark cubby. He knew she could have fought them and he knew she could have freed herself from the silver but she didn't instead she closed her eyes letting the bloody tears run over her face.

Sookie didn't make another sound she didn't call out his name again she just let the men put her into a black van and drive off into the night. She still wasn't sure she had killed anyone but no matter what scenario she played out in her head it made no sense, if this were Nan trying to set her up she damn sure would have wanted to be there to catch her in the act, that would be the only way the bitch could be sure Sookie would be killed.

Levi wasn't smart enough or strong enough to set all of this up, and she was sure he was there to report to Nan so still it wouldn't have been Eric that found her. She tried to think of anyone else who would want to hurt her so badly but as far she knew she didn't have any other enemies in Bon Temps.

Her head was pounding and the chains were burning their way through to the tissue and causing a tremendous pain in her bones. Sookie shifted uncomfortable twisting her body in an awkward way until the chain fell free from her body taking chunks of burned flesh with them.

She wasn't trying to escape, there was no point in that; if Eric had turned his back on her and call in Nan's goons to pick her up then that was it she had nowhere else to turn if she lost Eric and no matter where she ran Pam and Eric were the only things protecting her.

The van came to a halt but she didn't bother to make a move just sat waited for her doom to come, when the men opened the doors their guns trained on her chest and she hoped they would shoot her and just make it quick because if it was Nan they were taking her to her death would be anything but quick. The men stepped aside the tallest one telling Sookie to step out of the van slowly and when she did she realized it wasn't Nan Flanagan calling the shot.

"Pam?" Sookie didn't know if this was a good thing or not

"What are you doing here?"

Pam ignored her question turning to the men and pointing what direction to take their prisoner, Sookie didn't look up to see a huge house or it's surrounding instead she kept her head down and walked where she was told. Once they were inside Sookie was lead to a private room deep inside the house; the room was cold, colorless and had a faint odor of blood inside.

She didn't know what being here meant but if she had lost Eric she hoped it meant her true death; stepping into the room she could see the glimmer of lights bouncing off of the silver lined walls and when the door slammed shut behind her she jumped. It was days before anyone came to check on her and Sookie passed the time staring at a portrait of a young girl and her dog that was hanging above the bed.

It was an odd picture to have in such a room but for her it was a reminder of the innocence she once had in her human life. A time before vampires when she would lay in the sun and read or do things as simple as snuggling with the cat she once had as a child or cooking dinner with her Gran.

Things were simple then no worries just living her odd life and hiding her special gift, sometimes she missed her telepathy and in a way she wished that when she was turned she had carried that trait with her instead of the horrible rage that she inherited from Ocella.

Sookie pictured her life if she had just listened to Sam and Tara

And stayed away from Bill and she cried as she realized how different things would be. The day came and took her again and when the sun set the next evening she woke and could feel that something was terrible wrong; her flesh was boiling and her eyes were filled with pins and needles.

Sookie screamed out in pain pulling against the chains that bound her hands to the silver chair she sat in, her rage boiled over as she struggled yet with every second she felt weaker. This was it she though this was Nan it had to be Eric would never torture her this way no matter what she had done he would stake her first but never this.

"Ahhhhh" she screamed out as a needle plunged into her arm pushing more silver into her body; she jerked and pulled again fighting against the pain but in the end she couldn't free herself she was just to weak.

Sookie could hear the voices in the distance but she couldn't recognize them the pain was over powering all of her senses and she wished for the true death. She collapsed under the weight of the silver in her system fighting was only making worse and at this point her flesh was shredding slowly sliding away from the bone and her veins were pulsing with fire.

"Kill me please" Sookie cried out into the room hoping anyone would put her out of her misery.

"Sookie" Eric's voice boomed and a shiver ran down her spine; the room filled with strange noises and the overwhelming scent of blood.

"Pam get the chains off,"

Sookie was stunned Eric was here he knew she was being tortured and he did nothing to stop it she wanted to die.

She didn't move or try to look at him as Pam peeled layers of her flesh off with the heavy chains, she told herself to be still and quiet don't move or run it would only make things worse.

"look at me" Sookie lifted her head and looked at the blurry figure in front of her.

"Are you going to kill me?" Her words made him stumble he couldn't believe the state she was in, there was no fight in her nothing she seemed dazed and worn. Eric moved closer putting his hand under her chin and lifting her head, her eyes were sunken in her skin grey and tight she didn't look like a vampire who had killed two humans days before.

"You haven't eaten" Sookie looked at him more confused than ever; why was he acting concerned he was the one who sent her to this place to be tortured. She knew he didn't believe her when she denied killing the delivery guy and the girls blood was all over her so she was clearly guilty why was he being nice now.

"you said I killed that girl I drained her and bathed in her blood look" she desperately pulled at her shirt that was still covered in the dried blood.

Eric shook his head "I didn't say that "

he grabbed a true blood from a tray and offered it to her but she refused "I'm not hungry."

"You sent me here" Sookie looked into his eyes before slumping further into the chair and taking her head in her hands.

It was clear something was wrong with her but it was something more than the silver;

"Sookie I didn't tell them to do this" she looked around the quiet room and saw the bodies of the men that had been torturing her scattered all over the floor.

Eric offered her the bottle of blood again hoping she would drink, her skin was covered in blisters and silver drops poured from her eyes and ears; looking at her he couldn't believe she had been on a killing spree this was Sookie.

She was calm in an almost eerie way no emotion no anger and she refused to drink which was the only way he knew to help her heal.

"Sookie you need to drink" he pushed the bottle to her lips but she turned her head away. He wanted to help her to get her out of that room and cleaned up "Sookie I need you to do this for me, please drink."

"I'm ok" she looked up her eyes fuzzy and pale,

"you need to drink to heal"

"I'm not hungry" her head fell to the side as she spoke

Eric couldn't stand to see her so broken she was the strongest person he knew even as a human she was fearless and eager willing to fight for her life. He had no choice he needed her to fight if they were going to find out what was going on and who was doing it he needed her to be strong,

"damn it Sookie drink" he pushed the bottle to her lips and poured watching it run down her chin. It was no use and he new there was only one choice, he had to make her fight; he had to make her angry and he had to make her want to live.

Eric kicked the chair she was sitting in "Get up"

but nothing, no reaction.

"GET UP" he screamed again this time shoving her body off of the chair. Sookie slumped to the floor looking up at him her eyes filled with silver but she didn't move,

"Get up" Eric kicked her in her chest causing her body to slide across the floor and slam into the wall.

No reaction Sookie didn't budge she didn't attack him or try to fight back she didn't even try to run or squirm as Eric walked toward her.

"Get up now Sookie" he reached his hand out to her but again she didn't move just laid on the floor her blank face looking up at him.

Eric knelt down shaking her "Get up" but nothing,

he reached down clutching his fingers around her throat; he knew it wouldn't hurt her but he didn't need to hurt her he just needed to piss her off. Lifting her body up by her throat he shook her violently

"fight back!" he screamed in her face before tossing her over his shoulder.

Her body slammed against the wall again and fell to the floor,

"Sookie get up" He walked to where she laid and knelt down beside her motionless body wanting her to get up and attack him but she just stared at him willing to take any abuse he was going to give.

Eric sat down next to her pressing his back against the wall as he pulled her onto his lap and stroked her hair;

"I'm sorry for hurting you" she whispered as she started to sob into his chest.

Eric knew what she was talking about and even though it was hard for him to deal with the fact that she was capable of causing such damage even to him it didn't mean he didn't love her.

"Sookie I'm fine but I'm worried about you, I love you" her eyes sparkled when he spoke, the thought of him not loving her anymore was crushing her and it was enough to make her not want to live.

"I don't think I killed anyone I really don't, you didn't believe me, I didn't know what to do." Sookie sobbed again curling herself further into Eric's chest "Eric I never wanted to hurt you."
