First thing on Monday morning, Jason and Aria went to see the twin's school teacher. They'd spent the entire weekend worrying about the true extent to which Colton was suffering and how long he'd be unable to eat properly. They sat outside the teacher's room waiting for her to finish taking the register. Aria stood up and looked through the small window of the door. It concerned her that she couldn't see Colton through the window meaning that she couldn't see those around him – if there was anyone.

"She's got to have noticed a difference in Colton." Aria told Jason as she sat down with him. Colton had told Jason and Aria that the boys being horrible to him had happened more than once. "He's even more shy than usual."

"We'll see." Jason rested his hand on Aria's knew. "If not. There's something seriously wrong here."

Colton's teacher came out a few minutes later. "Good morning! I'm Mrs Cooper." Aria and Jason stood to shake her hand. "You wished to speak with me?"

"Yes, it's about our son, Colton." Aria began.

The teacher nodded for Aria to continue.

"He came back from school this weekend in such a weird mood. He wasn't eating. He wasn't talking.."

"Colton isn't one for talking is he?" the teacher commented unnecessarily.

"That's not the point I'm trying to explain to you."

"I'm sorry."

"He broke down while we were eating at dinner. Did you know he was being bullied?" Aria asked.

"Bullied? No. He can't be." The teacher denied.

"Well he is. Our son wouldn't say something that wasn't true." Jason told her.

"Um.. did he tell you who is bullying him and where the incidents have taken place?"

"He gets bullied during recess. He told us that there are three boys. Alex, Michael and Josh." Jason replied.

"Alex as in his best friend Alex?"

"Yes." Aria confirmed.

"Where are you during recess? Do you supervise your students or are there other people to do that?" Jason asked.

"Um, well, it depends on the day. I don't see what that has to do with me." Mrs. Cooper shrugged a little.

"We just want to know who would have witnessed our son being kicked, pushed and laughed at and then chose to take no sort of action." Jason said trying to keep his annoyance under control.

"It could have been any members of the faculty."

"Oh wow, you have literally been no help whatsoever. We'll take this further with the principal." Jason put his hand on Aria's back and they walked from outside of the classroom and all the way to reception to book an appointment to see the principal.

Jason and Aria had to wait an hour to see the principal. They were both already late for work but their son's wellbeing was at stake so missing out on the money didn't bother them. They told him everything that Colton had told them. They also complained about Mrs Cooper's denial that Colton was being bullied and they told the principal how she hadn't even seemed remotely concerned about one of her students when she found out he was being bullied by her fellow students. Colton was six and he was meant to be enjoying coming to school everyday not dreading it. The principal told Jason and Colton that he would personally oversee the investigation into Colton's bullying and would call them with news of developments. He apologized about the treatment they had received from Mrs. Cooper and promised he would be having stern words with her.

Aria walked into work after being dropped off by Jason shortly after their meeting. Going to sit at her desk, she logged into her computer and looked at her schedule. Luckily, she had no clients this morning so she hadn't let anyone down. As Aria replied to some emails, she heard her name being called. Looking around she saw Kenneth looking at her from her office door. Locking her account, she walked over to her father-in-law who was standing waiting for her with his arms crossed.

"Why are you so late?"

"What?" Aria furrowed her brows a bit. "Didn't Jason call you this morning?"

Kenneth gestured for her to come into his office. Stepping in Aria sat down as Kenneth closed the door. "He didn't call me. What's going on?"

"Colton's being bullied at school so Jason and I have been there trying to get it sorted out."

"No, that's awful. Who would bully such a sweet boy?"

"There are three boys in his class."

"How are the school going to deal with it?"

Aria shrugged her shoulders. "The principal said he would personally find out what he can and then he'll get back to us."

Kenneth shook his head in disappointment that his grandson in a horrible situation at school. "You can take the day off if you want. I'll take care of your clients this afternoon."

"No. No, I'm fine. I need to do something to take my mind of it. I'll be fine." Aria smiled as she stood up and left Kenneth's office.

The next day, Jason and Aria were called to come into school by the principal. They entered his office, to see a small group of parents already there. One of the fathers glared at Jason as they sat down.

"You all know why I have called this meeting. Bullying is not tolerated at the school and we have reason to believe that your children, Michael, Josh and Alex are bullying Mr and Mrs DiLaurentis' son Colton."

"Bullshit." One of the mothers stated.

"Excuse me?" The principal looked shocked.

"My son is not a bully. He's a good, kind, sensitive boy. I don't believe for one second that he is bullying this child."

"Are you saying that my son is lying?" Aria asked as she turned to the other mother.

The rude mother rolled her eyes at Aria before looking at the principal. "My son is not a bully. I will not have him catergorised as one."

"Mrs. Walsh, we have a staff member who has seen your son, Josh, physically hurt Colton." One of the teaching assistants saw Josh kick Colton during a football match but couldn't stop him as she was already having to look after a little girl who had just sprained her wrist.

"Who?"

"Her name will not be disclosed."

"This is crap. I'm leaving." Mrs. Walsh stood up and walked out of the door.

"Mrs. Walsh! I'd appreciate it if you came back." The principal followed her.

The rest of the parents sat in silence as they waited for him to return. He came in a minute later shaking his head.

"Sorry about that. Um.." he pointed towards Alex's parents. "Mr and Mrs. Jenner. Your son over the past couple of months has been rude, disruptive and a handful to try and teach. His teacher and myself have struggled to keep him and his behaviour under control. We have given him chances to improve but he hasn't. And his bullying of Colton is the last straw. I'm sorry to tell you but I'd like for you to move Alex to a different school."

"This is all your fault!" Mrs. Jenner scolded at her husband.

"My fault?" Mr. Jenner questioned.

"Ever since you've been working extra hours at the firm, Alex's behaviour has deteriorated. Don't you remember how lovely our son was up until a couple of months ago?"

"He's growing."

"Don't say that our son is a bully because he is fucking growing up!" Mrs. Jenner stood and took a stroll around the room to calm herself. "I am so sorry for the way my son has treated yours. I am so embarrassed." She placed her hand on her heart as she spoke to Jason and Aria. She turned to the principal. "Thank you for giving him the chances that he probably didn't deserve. We'll take him out of your school right now." Mr and Mrs. Jenner left the office.

Michael's parents had been apologetic from the very start and promised Jason and Aria that they would get their son to apologise to Colton and promise to leave him alone for good. As this has been the first incident Michael had been involved in, the principal told the parents, this was his first warning – one more and he would be asked to move schools too.

Jason and Aria were glad that the bullying had been take care of so quickly. A week later, they were pleased that Colton was back to the way he normally was. Quiet but not sad and reclusive like he had been before.

One night Jason and Aria went on a date to a new Italian restaurant that had opened twenty minutes from their home. Jason parked his car across the street and walked hand in hand with Aria to the authentic looking establishment. As they waited on the sidewalk to be attended to and seated, two people caught Jason's eye. He narrowed his eyes as he looked to see who they were. He recognized them but as they were kissing each other it was hard to know for sure.

"You have got to be kidding me.." Jason said out loud when the couple pulled away.

"What?" Aria looked up at him.

"Look at those two." He said and pointed at the man who was groping the woman's behind.

Aria gasped. "Mrs Cooper and Alex's dad?!"

"Wait here, baby." Jason went to walk over to them.

"Jason, no."

Jason ignored Aria and continued to walk to the pair who were unsuccessfully trying to hide their displays of affection behind a pillar of a nearby building.

"So.." Jason's voice startled them.

"Mr. DiLaurentis.." Mrs. Cooper looked up at him in shock.

"This is the reason why you refused to believe that Alex was bullying Colton. You're fucking your student's married father. Of course you have to stay on his good side!"

"It's not like.."

"Not like what?" Jason asked abruptly.

Mrs. Cooper sighed and looked down to the ground in shame.

"And you. Once again you have nothing to say." Jason stood infront of Mr. Jenner. "You left all the talking to your wife the other week and now you won't even open your mouth to defend your mistress."

"None of this is your business." Mr. Jenner told Jason as he tried to maintain eye contact with Jason.

"I think it is if it's one of the reasons why my son being bullied wasn't dealt with."

"What are you going to do?" Mrs. Cooper asked from the side of Jason.

"Well, I'm not going to tell your partners because that sure as hell isn't my place to do so. But regarding your dismissal and clear lack of duty of care to a student. I'll be calling your principal tomorrow to inform him about my discovery." Jason walked away from the cheating, lying pair.

Jason wrapped his arm around Aria's waist as they stood together waiting.

"Are you going to tell me what you did?" Aria asked looking up at Jason.

"I didn't do anything." He replied without looking at her.

"What did you say then?"

"That I would be calling the principal to tell him about the real reason why Mrs. Cooper didn't know that Colton was being bullied by Alex."

"Colton is fine now. Let's put the matter to rest."

"No. If that woman wasn't hooking up with that man, our son might have not been bullied as much as he was." Jason looked down at Aria.

"Jason.." Aria sighed.

"End of discussion, Aria. Now let's just enjoy tonight. Who knows when we'll be able to have a night out together again." Jason kissed Aria's temple as they stepped forward in the small queue.
