AS USUAL, ANY AND ALL MISTAKES ARE MY OWN I TRIED TO EDIT IT BUT I MOST LIKELY FAILED.
Time Jump. Graduation. I know nothing about it. I dropped the fuck out cause I'm too dumb lmao.
Also, I know nothing about the situation the girls get into :D
Tori stepped up and walked across the stage, shaking the hand of the school's principal before looking towards the crowd as Alice and Holly called her name.
She turned her head, beaming a smile at both the women, holding the certificate up. They clicked a photo and Tori kept walking off the stage back towards her seat.
She watched, her excitement building as Jade moved closer to the front of the line before she was doing the same thing. Smiling at Holly and Alice as the camera flashed, then made her way off the other side of the stage.
Tori glanced over her shoulder as Jade sat in the row and seat right behind her. She leaned back in her chair as Jade moved forward. Tori smiled, kissing Jade briefly as she tuned out the last few students getting their certificates.
"Hey, we've got our diploma, let's leave," Jade whispered, still leaning forward, her chin resting on Tori's shoulder.
Tori smiled and nodded, the pair of them quietly shifting out of their rows before they lowered themselves and snuck away up the side of the auditorium.
Tori stopped, pulling her phone from her pocket when she got to the end of the row their mothers were sitting in. She sent a quick text and nudged Jade to keep walking when she noticed Jade had paused to wait for her.
"What was that?" Jade whispered.
"Just letting them know we're out of here and they can go home. So they're not waiting around for us."
"You're so smart." Jade's words caused Tori to grin and her heart to skip.
They waited outside for their mothers, leaning against the car they came in together.
"Question," Tori said, pulling off her robe and cap, and folding it over her arm.
"Hm?" Jade asked, lifting her head from her phone.
"Do you think something is going on between our mothers?"
Jade's brows creased as she stared at Tori in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I mean… I think they're-"
"Our girls, Graduated and officially out of high school!"
Tori turned her head, smiling as Holly wrapped her in a hug.
"I'm so proud of you, Jade. I was starting to think before Tori came along that you'd drop out and run away to join Broadway shows."
Jade chuckled. "Broadway is still a possibility, only Tori would come along of course."
"Broadway? I mean, we could but that would be for you. I don't have a Broadway voice, Jade. You do."
Jade's face softened. "You'd really come with me?"
Tori reached out, grabbing Jade's hand before they left their mother's embrace and stood between the older women.
"Jade, I already agreed to marry you one day, of course, I'd follow you wherever you want to go."
Jade's face softened and she leaned in, kissing Tori softly before pulling her into a tight hug. "I can't wait to marry you, Tori."
Tori whimpered lightly at the words, burying her face against Jade's neck. "Me either."
Jade pulled from the hug, studying Tori's face briefly before she smiled, dragging Tori a few steps away from their mothers, her voice lowering. "What are we waiting for then?"
Tori tilted her head. "Wha- now?"
"I mean… We're both eighteen now. One call and we have your father, Riley and Athena joining us at the courthouse with our mothers."
"Are you sure?"
Jade nodded. "If you are."
Tori looked down at her white sundress and then at Jade's black dress which showed the perfect amount of cleavage. Tori loved that dress a lot.
"Yeah… Yes." Tori nodded quickly, looking at their mothers who were showing each other things on their phones and minding their own business. "Mum, Alice… Go get Dad. Then, meet us at the address I'll send to the family chat. Jade and I are going to get us a reservation."
Holly and Alice nodded, getting into Alice's car. "Okay, we'll meet you there."
Jade held the door open to her car for Tori. "We're not telling them, are we?"
"Nope. Let us surprise them. They're the most important people to us, who else do we need?"
"You don't want the gang there?" Jade asked, a confused frown on her brows as she got into the car.
"Let this just be our family. One day, we'll have another one when we're a little older and have the group. Let it just be us for now."
Resting her hand on Tori's thigh as she pulled the car onto the street, Jade smiled as she felt Tori's fingers close over her hand. "I love you. Are you absolutely sure about this?"
"I am. So very very sure. If you are?"
"I've never been more ready or sure, or anything in my life."
"I love you too, by the way."
Jade smiled, slowing the car to a stop as the traffic light ahead of them changed to red, flipping her hand over, she brought Tori's hand up with hers and kissed her fiancé's knuckle.
"Alright then, let's go and get married."
Tori let out a squeak of happiness before she leaned over, kissing Jade's cheek.
"So, what about rings?" Jade asked as she turned to look back at the road as the light changed to green.
"I have an idea, we'd have to make a stop on the way to the courthouse, though."
"Just tell me where to go," Jade said, her giving Tori's a light squeeze.
"And will you two have a witness?"
Jade lifted her head from digging through her purse. "My mother is on her way and her parents are coming too. Babe, have you sent the location yet?"
"I pin dropped and said to meet us here and we'll get lunch afterwards. Mum said they're on their way here."
"Jadelyn West, why the hell are you two at a courthouse? What did you do?"
Tori snorted a laugh, covering her mouth. "Your mother thinks you did something. That's hilarious."
"I told you we shouldn't have kept the elopement from them."
Jade turned, looking up at her mother, smiling widely. "Mum, come on. I need your signature."
"You too, Dad," Tori said, both the girls holding up a pen.
"What did you two do?" David asked, carefully handing Athena over to Tori as he stepped closer to look at the form he needed to sign.
His eyes widened in recognition of the first few words before he looked at the couple. "Really?"
Tori and Jade nodded.
David signed before taking Athena back. "I should have dressed nicer than," he chuckled, looking down at his jeans and t-shirt.
"Jade, I swear if you got caught doing something stupid while driving I-"
Jade raised her studded brow. "Yes, mum?"
"I-" Alice's eyes finished scanning over the form. "Oh. Okay, well, thank you for letting me be here then." She signed and slid the clipboard across the counter to the clerk.
"Okay you two, there's three ahead of you. Go on in and sit down, family on the left. Couples on the right."
"Family on the… What is going on?" Holly asked, frowning.
David put his free arm over his wife's shoulder. "Holly, we are here to support Tori in her future. Isn't that all we've wanted to do? Have Tori and Trina, and now Theena, be happy?"
"What are you talking about, David?"
"Our girls are eloping and want us here to support them." Alice smiled.
"Married?" Holly blinked, looking at Tori and Jade. "Really? Are you two sure?"
"Mum," Tori sighed, smiling. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life. I would choose Jade over singing, over acting, over my favourite food."
"Well, if you're sure." Holly nodded.
"Very," Tori said as she took Jade's hand.
"Well then, family on the left we were told," Holly said, gesturing to the left side of the courtroom as they stepped in the doors.
Jade and Tori left their phones with their family and Jade's purse before they moved to the other side of the room, sitting a few rows back from the front while they waited impatiently for their turn.
"We're next, are you ready?" Jade whispered, looking down at Tori's hand, her fingers fidgeting and playing with the goth's.
"More than anything, do you think we should photograph this moment?" Tori replied, voice low.
Jade nodded, sliding across the row and gaining Alice's attention. She mimed for her phone and Alice held it out between the rows.
Jade reached, grabbing the phone with a thankful nod.
She handed the phone to Tori before sliding closer to her partner once more.
Tori smiled, setting the phone in her lap as she gripped Jade's chin with her other hand, making Jade look at her. She brought a hand up, shifting Jade's hair a little and fixing it before kissing the lips of her partner with a softness Jade craved every day.
Jade relaxed against Tori, smiling against her lips as she returned the kiss.
"Love you, let's take a photo before we get married… And then, we'll get our mothers to take photos or even record it for us if it's allowed."
"I'm sure it can be done quietly," Jade murmured, leaning harder against Tori's side as she held the phone up in front of them.
Jade smiled for the camera as she saw Tori beaming in the reflection.
Tori snapped a few and Jade turned her head, kissing Tori's cheek.
She grinned brighter before turning her head to meet Jade's lips with a kiss.
"Ahem, I believe you're supposed to kiss after you get married."
Jade pulled away from Tori to see the judge watching them with a small smile on his lips.
"I take it this isn't a green card in the balance of this marriage?" He asked as Tori and Jade stood and made their way forward. Tori slipped the phone to Alice as they walked past their row.
"No, no green card needed. Just two slightly dumb teenagers in love, sir," Tori said.
"Slightly? I am one hundred per cent stupidly in love," Jade said.
A few laughs echoed around the room.
The judge nodded with a smile. "And you are aware this is legally binding?"
The teen's nodded.
"Was kinda hoping for it to be," Jade said.
"Alright then," he nodded. "Let's get you two married. I assume all the paperwork was filled out?"
"Yes sir," Tori said, pulling the rolled-up paperwork from the pocket of her dress before handing it over to him.
"Victoria Vega and Jadelyn West." He looked at them and then at the paperwork before him, nodding.
"You may now kiss your bride," The judge said, smiling down at Tori and Jade.
Jade took a breath of relief, leaning in as she pulled Tori against her, causing her to squeak and fall against Jade with a soft laugh.
Kissing Tori, Jade smiled against her lips as she slid her hands from Jade's waist, up her back, holding her wife closer.
Sorry that I haven't been posting/updating. My will to live dropped and I've been trying to pick it up. But like a cup at 3 am when you're trying to be quiet, it's running all over the place to avoid being caught.
I hope this update makes up for it, guys. I know I've been posting another story for Wenclair, but my brain has been bogged on this one and my Kat x Regina fic. I'm trying!
Please, leave a comment and let me know what you thought of it!
