Kate gripped the stone tightly in her hands. Her eyes trailed over Keiths' battered and beaten form. He sat on his knees, his hand held his side tightly, trying to stop the bleeding.

Kellyn rushed over to the boy, quickly kneeling beside him and prying Keiths' hand away from his wound. The brunettes' eyes widened, he couldn't see the exact extent of damage, but he could see that he had lost a lot of blood.

Kate studied the bruised face of Keith. His lip had swollen and split and a bruise was forming under his eye. Both he and Kellyn were in clothes that were tattered and torn apart.

"Are you ready?" Kate asked as she looked at the red head. Keith placed his bloody hand onto Kellyns' shoulder and forced himself to his feet. The brunette followed, standing slowly as Keith leaned on him for support.

"Keith's too weak!" Kellyn called back in concern as the red head almost collapsed. Kellyn wrapped his arm round the red head, steadying him in the process.

"I'm ready," Keith spoke as Kellyn looked at him in shock before looking at Kate. He didn't miss the concerned look on her face or the hesitation as she loosened her grip on the stone slightly.

A groan was heard nearby as Cyrus started to wake from his unconscious state. Giratina looked at the blue haired man before turning to Kate.

"Kate, you must. Your friend will be alright. Believe in both you and him," the pokemon ordered as Kate looked up at the large pokemon. It stood on six legs besides her. Kate gritted her teeth and gave one last look to Keith.

Her eyes widened slightly when she was the charming, winning smile he was giving her. It was one that comforted her and gave her hope, despite the situation they were in.

Kate found herself smiling as she turned her head back to Giratina, who nodded.

"Break the stone," Giratina ordered. Kate tightened her grip. A white light shot from her hand into the stone. She hissed slightly, feeling the stone shatter and sharp pieces start to cut into her hand.

"Look out!" Kellyn yelled as Kate was tackled to the ground by Cyrus. The brunette said nothing, she didn't scream, she wasn't surprised. Giratina spread its wings, catching Kate before she could hit the ground.

Cyrus glared, anger seethed through his body. Kate narrowed her eyes as she looked at the man. Darkness began to pool at his feet as she looked at him in confusion, he couldn't have been controlling it anymore, the stone was broken.

"Kate! Channel the darkness, now!" Giratina ordered. Kate looked up at the large pokemon and nodded her head as she stood to her feet and closed her eyes.

Giratina used its wing to shield Kate from Cyrus and the darkness that was working with him. Her hands began to glow white as she trapped the darkness that had sprouted from the stone. It wasn't much, but it was enough.

"Keith!" Kate called as the red head grunted slightly. He pushed himself off of Kellyn as the darkness shot from Kates' hands. She guided it with a stream of white light until it reached Keith.

The darkness entered him with a force. Keith groaned as he was flung back against the wall. Blood protruded from his mouth as he gasped, trying to catch his breath. Kellyn looked at the red head and Kate made her way around Giatinas' wing.

The brunette faced Cyrus with a glare on her face as the blue haired man grinned widely. Kate studied him, the darkness was travelling further and further up his body.

He was being consumed… and he couldn't realise it.

"Cyrus, listen to me," Kate pleaded as she stood straight, chest puffed out, holding her ground. "The darkness is consuming you, you have to stop, surrender," the brunette order in a strong but calm voice. The blue haired man scoffed.

"I will rebirth this world!" he yelled as he charged at Kate. The brunette quickly placed her hands on the mans' shoulders and jumped over him as he ran into Giratina, who glared down at him.

"Giratina, don't. This is our fight. Assist Keith," Kate ordered as she smoothed her clothes out and looked at the pokemon. Giratina simply nodded and made its way over to an unconscious Keith.

Kellyn followed, quickly kneeling down next to Keith, shaking him slightly as Kate turned her attention to Cyrus, who was charging at her again.

Kate dodged out of the way of a punch as she aimed one for his stomach. Her eyes widened as the darkness surrounded her fist. She yelped in pain as her wrist was twisted, a snapping sound heard.

Cyrus smirked as he elbowed Kate around the face, sending her crumbling to the ground. The brunette growled, ignoring the pain in her wrist and quickly standing back to her feet as Cyrus punched her in the gut.

Kellyn looked over at Kate before turning back to Keith and shaking him by the shoulders.

"Keith! Keith! Wake up!" Kellyn ordered as he continued to shake the red head. The brunette looked over his shoulder at Kate who was throwing punches at Cyrus and dodging the darkness.

"Keith! Mate, come on, please," Kellyn begged as he readied his hand and slapped the red head around the face. The brunette growled as Keith remained as motionless as before. "Is this supposed to be happening?! Why isn't he waking up?!" the brunette asked as he looked up at Giratina.

"Keith hasn't had the darkness in him for a while. Right now he's battling against the darkness internally. You have to bring Keith forward," Giratina explained as Kellyn gave him a confused look, not entirely sure what to say to the red head.

"Okay, okay… Keith… remember during Dim Sun? When you fell off the boat? Everyone… everyone thought you were dead. All of us, except Kate. Kate never gave up and it was her Sharpedo that found you," Kellyn stated as he looked at the red head. "We've all been through so much, Dim Sun was hard on all of us and now this is harder. But we never gave up, ever! You never gave up! So don't you dare let this darkness beat you! We need your help," Kellyn spoke as a snapping sound was heard from behind him. "Kate needs your help," the brunette whispered as he looked over his shoulder to Kate, who was kicking Cyrus off her.

Keith looked around; a misty darkness surrounded his mind. He knew where he was, he didn't want to be in the darkness he wanted be out, he wanted to be conscious helping his friends.

"Keith… Keith!" he could hear Kellyns' voice calling him. The red head turned around, his eyes widened slightly as he looked at a pair of piercing red eyes.

He stepped backwards slightly, shocked at seeing the eyes. Keith frowned, lips pursing together as the eyes started to form a shape around them. He knew it wasn't Darkrai in fact… it was something he was even more scared of but accepted.

Keith studied the dark expression that appeared on the figures face, not daring to look away.

"I am you," the figure spoke as it turned into an identical version on Keith. The only difference was that this Keith was a mixture of light and dark grey.

"I know," Keith didn't deny it. He knew he had a dark side, everyone had a dark side… but he was pretty sure he was the only one who embraced it and accepted it.

"I will replace you," the dark Keith spoke as he looked at the red head. The red head shook his head, chuckling slightly.

"No you won't," Keith replied. He stepped towards his darker self with a calm expression and looked the grey version of himself. The darker Keith gave a confused expression and Keith smiled gently. "You are me, so you are a part of who I am. We are connected as one being," the red head explained as the dark Keith looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"That does not matter, I-,"

"I think it does," Keith interrupted, not letting his dark self continue. "Because if you are me then you care about the same things I do," the red head continued as he took another step towards the grey version of himself. "And right now someone is hurting Kate," at that the grey Keiths' eyes widened and his fists balled.

"You're lying," the grey version spoke with an unsteady voice.

"Kate is laying down her life fighting against a darkness that is taking my home, our home, from us!" Keith stated, his voice rising as he glared at himself. The dark version of Keith looked down slightly.

"Kate," it whispered as Keith smirked slightly.

"Yeah, our Kate," the red head confirmed as he held a hand up. "We have to save our world and our Kate," he added as the grey version of himself glared slightly. "I've accepted the darker side of myself since I was a child. I know who I am and I know what I'm capable of," Keith added with a small shrug of his shoulders.

As those words sunk in, the dark Keith reached his grey hand up and placed it on Keiths' slightly tanned one. The red head closed his eyes as he felt the darkness around his mind begin to lift.

"Keith! Will you wake up already, damnit?!" Kellyn yelled as he shook Keiths' shoulder harder this time. Giratina began to grow worried, the longer the red head was unconscious the easier it would be for the darkness to take control.

"Okay, enough," Keith spoke weakly as he lifted a hand and placed it on top of Kellyns'. The brunettes' eyes widened in shock as Keith looked at him; his eyes had turned to a dark grey colour.

Kellyn looked at him with confusion and worry. He gulped slightly, wondering if Keith was still Keith.

"It's me, Kell, don't worry," Keith grunted as he forced himself to his feet. He looked at Kate, who was panting heavily, keeping Cyrus and the darkness that had almost fully consumed him at a distance.

"Are you alright, Katie?" the red head asked as Kate looked at him. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw his eyes but she grinned a toothy grin and nodded her head once.

"Do what you need to Keith," she ordered as she quickly blocked an attack from Cyrus, who growled in anger.

"What do I do now?" Keith asked as he looked up at Giratina, who looked down at the boy with a frown on his face. Keith had accepted the darker side of himself; the pokemon only hoped that it would work to their advantage.

"You need to consume the rest of the darkness. As you do that the Regions, pokemon and people taken from them will be returned to where they were last. Do that and I will give you your next step," Giratina ordered as Keith nodded his head slightly.

"Not sure how I'm going to do this," the red head muttered slightly, looking around at the darkness. He studied Lucario, who was still fighting against the unknown for a minute or so before looking up at the dark clouds.

A large bolt of purple lightning came straight for the red head. Kellyn looked up eyes wide as the lightning headed for them. Keith pushed the brunette out of the way, sending him across the room as the lightning struck Keith.

The red head grunted slightly as the lightning was absorbed into his body, he frowned slightly, looking at his hands and arms. He felt… fine?

"The lightning's also made from the darkness, huh?" Keith questioned as he looked at the sky.

"Control the darkness, bring it back to you," Giratina explained as Keith looked at the legendary, he had no idea how to do that.

'Let me,' a voice spoke in Keiths' mind. The red head hummed slightly, and thought for a moment, the darker version of himself was still himself.

"Alright," Keith nodded his head as he closed his eyes. Giratina watched in surprise as the red heads hair started to turn from red to grey. Kellyn looked at the boy in shock before turning to Kate, who had blasted Cyrus into a bunch of rocks opposite her.

Keith held his hands out in front of him and, slowly they became encased in a purple aura that danced around his hands. Kellyn watched the grey haired boy in wonder as the purple lightning shot from his hands into the sky above them.

"Kellyn, I need you to go find Cynthia. If people are going to reappear where they were taken she'll be in the mountain," Keith spoke as he looked up at the sky, dark clouds slowly started to part from each other.

"No, Kellyn is needed here," Giratina ordered as the dark clouds started to follow the purple aura down into Keiths' hand. The grey haired boy absorbed it with a straight face as he looked at Cyrus, who had been fully consumed by the darkness.

"Kellyn, please, take over from Kate and fight against that man," Giratina ordered. Kellyn nodded his head and shot to his feet. He quickly charged at Cyrus, gripping the blue haired man around the waist and tackling him to the floor.

Kate looked at him in shock as Kellyn landed quite far from where she was standing. Kellyn quickly jumped to his feet, he turned to Kate, grinned and winked before motioning to Keith.

The brunette haired girl couldn't help the smile that formed on her lips and she quickly walked over to Keith, who didn't look at her. She couldn't help but wonder why his hair was grey, but at this point she didn't care, it was time to end what they were doing.

Kate looked at Giratina, who was watching Keith closely. Kate placed a hand on Keiths' open wound and quickly closed it up, causing the grey haired boy to look at her; he smiled slightly as Kate looked into his grey eyes.

"Are you ready Kate?" Giratina asked as Kate looked at the pokemon with a small nod. Giratina frowned a little and looked at the closed wound on Keiths' stomach.

"You need to reopen that wound, enough to place your fingers inside," Giratina spoke. Kates' eyes widened as she looked at the pokemon before gulping and looking at Keith, who nodded his head once.

Kate sighed and placed her hand back on his wound. She used her ability to numb his skin and reopen the wound slightly. Keith watched her, his grey eyes locked on her blue ones. Kate looked back at him, never breaking eye contact with the boy.

"Good, now place your fingers inside and use your ability to collect the darkness at the entry point of the wound," the reverse world pokemon ordered. Kate gulped, placing her fingers inside the wound; Keith winced slightly, but continued to stare at Kate, who gave him an apologetic look.

Kate felt her fingers grow warm, both with Keiths' blood and her ability. The darkness surrounding the area slowly started to fade into Keiths' body. The dark, black sky was slowly returning to a normal blue colour as Keith gulped slightly.

Kate felt an object start to form above her fingers and, in an instant; she knew the darkness was starting to form into another stone.

"No!" a voice yelled as Kates' eyes widened slightly. Giratina roared and went to slam his wings down behind Kate, but stopped as Kellyn tackled the blue haired man to the ground and sat on his back.

"I told you, the lovebirds are not to be interrupted," Kellyn stated as Kate chuckled slightly. Keith couldn't help but smile. Things were looking up; everything was looking like it would be fine.

Kellyn quickly picked up a nearby rock and hit Cyrus over the head with it, effectively knocking the blue haired man out.

"Why didn't we do that to start with?" Kellyn huffed as he stood to his feet and walked over to the two. "Is everything okay here?" he asked, worry evident in his voice. Kate nodded her head once.

"It's fine, Kellyn," Keith spoke as he looked up to the sky. He couldn't help the smile that formed on his face as he saw the beautiful blue he had come so accustomed to.

"Are the Regions reforming?" Kellyn asked in worry as he looked at Giratina. The pokemon closed its eyes and focused for a moment.

Around the world the pokemon could feel Regions beginning to reform. Johto, Kanto, Hoenn, Fiore, Almia… they were all coming back… but it was slow.

"They're reforming. This darkness has been active for longer than I would have liked. They are slow at reforming, but it is working. Keith, are you alright?" Giratina asked as Keith turned his head to the reverse world pokemon.

"I'm fine. Kate's using her ability so I can't feel any pain," the red head answered as Kate hissed slightly, the stone was starting to dig into her fingers.

"Has it grown?" Giratina asked. Kate nodded her head as Keith gave her a worried look. "Pull the stone out, the darkness will follow," the pokemon ordered. Kate looked up at the legendary, but nodded her head once. She gripped the stone with her two fingers and slowly pulled it out.

Between her glowing white fingers was a still forming, black stone of darkness. Kellyn looked at it in shock as Giratina nodded his head, everything was working.

"Good, now all we have to do is wait. And Kellyn, please keep an eye on that man," Giratina requested as Kate and Keith watched the stone start to form more and more. Kellyn nodded his head and turned back to watch Cyrus, if he moved Kellyn would have him.

Around the world, Regions began to form more and more. Soon people and pokemon were starting to reappear.

Wendy groaned as she opened her eyes. Her surroundings were odd, rocks and rocky walls. Something nudged her gently. The green haired woman turned her head to her side; her eyes gave a confused look as the Geodude next to her gave her a concerned look.

Wendy sat up, leaning against the wall. A soft fabric brushed against her hand. Looking at the side of her, she smiled slightly when she saw Svens' had. She picked it up and placed it onto her head, a gut wrenching sensation running through her, she missed Sven.

It took a moment for Wendys' brain to register what was happening as the Geodude spoke again. She looked at the pokemon and for a moment it didn't dawn on her but the Geodude… it wasn't… it wasn't grey.

Wendys' eyes widened as she looked up and realised… she was back in Mt Hideaway. Standing to her feet the green haired woman quickly ran towards the entrance.

She felt to her knees as she did so. Her mouth opened in shock as tears started to stream quickly down her face. She didn't know how to respond to the fact she was back in the Kanto Region.

Pokemon filled the grass and paths in front of her as she placed her hands over her mouth. She couldn't stop the tears from flowing as she sniffled slightly.

"Sven," she spoke, eyes widened in realisation. She quickly dried her eyes and stood to her feet, shaking slightly from the emotions she was feeling.

"Dude!" Wendy turned on her heel as she looked at the Geodude that had woken her up in the mountain. She leaned down, petting it slightly and smiled.

Wendy then took off at full speed, back towards Oaks' laboratory, back to where Sven should be.

In the Hoenn Region Seren stood in a newly reformed Mauville City. She looked around in shock, smiling as she looked at the people and pokemon that had returned and were starting to run around the city.

"Miss, are you okay? You're injured and crying," a nearby lady spoke as Seren moved her hands to her face. She smiled gently as she felt the wet tears on her face.

"I'm fine. I'm just… so happy," she whispered and looked down at her styler before looking over to a nearby Staraptor. The black haired girl dried her eyes gently and quickly readied herself.

"Capture, on!" Seren yelled as she used her Styler to circle the pokemon, a grin on her face at how easy it was to gain the pokemons' trust once more. "Capture complete," the black haired girl spoke as she petted the Staraptor gently.

"Seren?" the woman froze at the voice that spoke. She turned slightly, eyes locking with all too familiar ones. She stood straight, ignoring the stinging sensation in her body as she did so.

"Sarah," Seren spoke as she turned to her mother, her eldest brother stood beside her.

"You look terrible as always," Sarah spoke as Seren folded her arms and scoffed.

"Yeah, I know. You did this to me," the black haired girl stated as her mother looked at her in shock. Seren narrowed her eyes slightly at the reaction. "You don't… you don't remember, do you?" Seren asked as she looked at the woman, who shook her head.

"I don't. I… did that to you?" Sarah asked as she took a step forward, Seren didn't move as she looked up at her mother, whose eyes widened. "Caden! Where is Caden?!" she panicked as she glared at Seren.

"He's safe. I had to evacuate him. This whole Region was going to disappear. I couldn't let him fall to the darkness. He's at the Ranger Union in Almia," Seren answered as her mothers' glare softened.

"You… saved him?" she asked, not knowing how to react. Seren had left home when she was old enough to go to Ranger School, she hadn't contacted any of her family since then. Her mother was certain Seren hated them all.

"Yeah. My friends are the reason the Region is back. We saved everyone," Seren explained as she turned to the Staraptor. "Now if you don't mind. I have a Region to return to and friends to tend to," the black haired girl added as she went to climb onto the pokemons' back, but stopped when she felt a hand on her arm.

"Bring Caden back," Sarah ordered. Seren didn't turn to her mother; she simply nodded her head and quickly climbed onto the Staraptor before taking off into the air. Her mother and brother watched as she disappeared out of sight from the Hoenn Region.

Rythmi opened her eyes as she felt someone clutching onto her tightly. She looked down to see Caden, his head buried into her side as he clung onto her as if his life depended on it.

Rythmi looked up, her eyes widening slightly as Rayquaza sat before her on the top of the Union. The pokemon roared loudly as Rythmi turned her head. Everyone from the Union was huddled together, cowering in fear.

Their heads shot up when they heard the legendary pokemon roar. Caden looked up with a frightened expression but Rythmi couldn't help but smile.

"We're… alive?" Adir asked in confusion.

"We're okay," Freya whispered as tears started to stream from her eyes.

"We're okay!" Remi cheered as Rythmi quickly picked Caden up in her arms and hugged him tightly.

"We're okay," the blonde stated with a large grin on her face as she set the boy down on the floor again. Caden grinned widely as he hugged Rythmi tightly and kissed her cheek.

"Wait… if we're okay then… the guys!" Rythmi yelled as she quickly bolted down the stairs to the Operators Floor. Everyone followed behind her, people helped Ben and Summer down the stairs as they all stood in anticipation behind Rythmi as she dialled the numbers of her friends.

She called Kate first, no answer. Then she tried Keith, no answer. Kellyn was the same. Rythmi began to panic as she looked at the screen before her. The words 'CALLING SEREN' appeared on screen.

The call continued to ring after what felt like an hour someone answered.

"What's up, Rythmi?" Serens' voice reached Rythmis' ears as the Union cheered loudly.

"Seren! You're okay!" Rythmi yelled. Seren frowned slightly at the sound of Isaacs' voice.

"Yeah, sorry, Isaac, thought you were Rythmi. Everything okay over there?" Seren asked as she continued to fly on her Staraptor.

"We're all okay, everyone, even Caden," Rythmi answered, forgetting for a moment that she was still in Isaacs' body.

"Big sister! You're okay!" Caden cheered as he put his face into the screen with Rythmi, who chuckled slightly.

"Yeah. The Hoenn Region's back now, everything seems fine. I'm on my way back to Almia now. Have you heard anything from the others?" Seren asked.

"I couldn't get a hold of Kate, Keith or Kellyn, I haven't tried Sven or Wendy yet, you're the first to pick up," Rythmi answered as she gave a serious look.

"Kellyn, Kate and Keith are probably still dealing with the problem. If we're fine and the Regions are back we have to believe they're okay too. What about Rythmi, have you seen her anywhere?" Seren asked, still not knowing that Rythmi was in Isaacs' body.

At this, Rythmis' eyes widened. Isaac wasn't with everyone else; he had gone with Luana to find Crawford. The blonde looked at Seren with worried eyes as the black haired girl nodded slightly.

"Get through to everyone else. I'll be back soon," Seren ordered as she ended the call. Rythmi gulped as she nodded her head and continued to call around the remaining Rangers hoping more would pick up.

Luana groaned as she opened her eyes, she hissed at the pain in the head and moved her hand to feel her wound. She sighed quietly when her hand became wet, she knew she was bleeding.

The black haired girl stood to her feet, staggering slightly as she did so. It wasn't the first time she had sustained a head injury, more than likely wouldn't be the last time.

She looked around; Entei laid on the ground a few feet away from her. So did Isaac. Quickly the black haired woman rushed over to him, shaking him quickly.

"Rythmi, Rythmi, come on Ryth, wake up!" Luana yelled as the blonde started to open his eyes. Isaac looked around their surroundings, confused for a second before he realised that they were fine.

He shot up into a sitting position, his vision blurring slightly from the change as he looked around. Luana hugged him tightly, a large smile forming on her face as she pulled away and stood to her feet.

Isaac followed quickly after her as the two walked over to Entei, who had moved slightly to stand to his feel again.

"Entei! Are you okay?" Isaac asked as the pokemon nodded his head once. Luana smiled in joy, grateful of the fact they were alive.

"Entei's fine, what about Crawford?" Isaac asked as he looked at Luana, whose eyes widened slightly. She didn't know.

"I don't… I don't know," she answered truthfully as Isaac smiled gently.

"Well, let's go find out," Isaac ordered as he gripped Luana by the wrist and started to drag her back in the direction of Crawford.

As they did so, Seren continued on her way to the Union.

Rythmi continued to call around the Rangers.

Isaac and Luana headed towards where Crawford was supposed to be.

Keith continued to bring the darkness into his body.

Kate continued to pull the darkness out of his body and form it into another stone.

And Kellyn continued to watch Cyrus in case he woke up again.

But all of them knew that even though they were still separated they would all be fine and the Regions would be okay.

So, I can't believe I left it this long. Only a few chapters to go now until the end. I'm rather pleased with the way this chapter turned out and I can't wait to do the next chapter. I don't know when the next one will be uploaded, I'm swamped when I come home from work so we shall see.
