A Week Later.
Washington D.C.
Capitol Hill.
The State Secretary Elizabeth McCord was recounting the events and the aftermath from a paper before the U.S Committee in a closed session at Capitol Hill.
"So following the recent turn of events that took place in Russia, Item 061982 has been dispersed." Elizabeth informed them. "The Scout Ship 0344 has been moved to a remote location which meant that any future projects of studying Kryptonian Technology has been decommissioned. Anyone associated with previous military projects surrounding the Scout Ship has been given new assignments. "
The committee took a moment to digest what they were just told. That was quite the story. "Mrs Secretary, you can't expect us to abandon our military program completely just because of what happened."
She didn't expect the government she's been serving for nearly three decades to as Elizabeth removed her reading glasses before addressing the committee. "No, I don't. But what I do know is that we, the human race as a whole have to acknowledge that we made some critical mistakes and good people paid the ultimate price for them."

The White House
President Dalton was presenting the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the family of Joanna Dalby in a posthumous ceremony to honor her courageous contribution in saving the planet from the brink of ruin while the press were taking multiple pictures of the ceremony. Stevie was in the audience with a sad smile on her face, happy that she was not to be forgotten. Her father Henry was standing next to her right in support.
Elizabeth McCord: And that is a debt we can't ever repay. But we can honor it though.

Star Labs.
Silas headed out of Star Labs HQ with a box of his personal belongings. He's just resigned from his position as the director of Star Labs for some long overdue catch up with his son who was waiting for him outside the building. Dr. Choi was the next in line and there was no one more suited for the job than him.
"Ready to go?" Victor asked his father.
Silas was more than ready. "Definitely."

Batcave
Descending down the stairs, Bruce walked down to the cave and stood in front of the case that contained Jason's old robin suit. Joker's mocking words etched on it. For too long he'd let the death of Jason dictate his deep descendent into the abyss. No more.
He opened it and went on to remove the painting off with a wet cloth unaware that Alfred was standing behind him and watched Bruce expunging one of his many demons.

Wayne Manor.
It felt so weird being back here at his childhood home. He hasn't been here since he burned it to the ground after Jason's death as Bruce and Alfred walked down the corridor.
Seeing Bruce was getting uncomfortable, Alfred attempted to persuade his ward to leave. "Master Wayne. You don't have to..."
"It's alright, Alfred." Bruce reassured him. He needed to do this. He then saw the dining table which gave him an idea.

Smallville
Martha had a broad smile on her face as she watched practically the whole town helping her unpacking her stuff back in her home and really who could blame her? She just got her farm back thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous donor from Gotham which was more than enough to pay off the loans she and Jonathan took. Things were finally looking up for her.

Metropolis
It was relatively easy, getting back into the all familiar routine. You just needed the right connections as Clark was walking down the sidewalk, now back to the world he'd left .
"Help! Someone help!"
Smiling to himself, Clark went to an alley ripping his shirt off to reveal his skin suit with his family sigil.
Elizabeth McCord: And hopefully we can learn from their sacrifices that our innate fear of the unknown is the root of the unjust hate and bigotry that lies within all of us and in a time where hope and compassion is considered to be a weakness, we need those that can inspire us to do better. To keep us from destroying ourselves.

Wayne Manor
Bruce and Diana were overviewing the reconstruction of Wayne Manor turning into a base of operations for the other heroes to reconvene. Alfred was giving the workers instructions on how to rebuild certain areas of the Mansion.
"Are you going to be alright with this, Bruce?" Diana inquired.
Working with others again? Yes. He is. "I've spent a few years looking for a good death." Bruce replied. "This... will be a good life."
Bruce exhaled as he basked in the light of the rising sun above the Manor. "Good enough."
