A couple of days had passed since everyone returned to the Ranger Union. The Legendary pokemon Mew had been sent back by Arceus to heal everyone to a certain extent.

Ben and Summers' broken bones were healed up nicely, but everyone with minor injuries, such as cuts and bruises asked to have them heal naturally. The pink pokemon complied and quickly disappeared once she had tended to the two injured brunettes.

Kate and Keith had stayed with Kates' family for the past couple of days. Luana and Crawford had joined them in the small house, officially announcing their relationship not long after.

Adir slapped the younger boy on the back, proud of his son, while Freya, Remi and Kate all hugged Luana. Keith shook hands with Crawford, congratulating him, but the congratulations turned into teasing the red head.

"When are you going to ask Katie out?"

"You know she loves you."

"You would make a cute couple."

These are but some of the things the red head was told and he couldn't hide the blush that formed on his face. He didn't seem to mind and Kate seemed to hear everything, all she could do was laugh at her family, they hadn't changed.

Rythmi and Isaac were still in each others' bodies. They had assumed that the spell would ware off with the darkness disappearing from the Regions... that wasn't the case.

For the past two days the two blondes had done nothing but research in the laboratory of the Union. Hastings had walked in on the two and sussed it out what was going on. Honestly, he couldn't believe it.

The two had acted so normal, so like the other person it was unbelievable. Sure they had minor slip ups during the time in others body but it only went to show how much the blondes knew each other and how close they were.

Sven and Wendy had once again settled into their rooms. The two had decided to switch their separate beds for one large one. The Union was aware of this, Erma was the one who made the confirmation for them.

It wasn't surprising, everyone in the Union knew the two were close and they all hoped that just under that friendship they both felt for the other that there might be something more.

Wendy knew what the others thought of the two. She knew they hoped that their relationship would blossom, she was sure Sven knew as well. The greenette couldn't help but smile at the thought.

For the past two nights, Sven had held her close to him and laid with her in his arms until both of them had drifted to sleep. When they woke up, Sven would still have a hold of Wendy in some way, be it by the waist or just holding her hand.

The cowboy couldn't help but smile at his partner every morning. He had taken to giving her a kiss on the forehead when they woke and before they went to sleep. Something was definitely blossoming between the two and as soon as Rythmi found out they were now sharing a bed she started to refer to them as the 'Officially Unofficial Couple'.

The Union didn't disagree with her and Sven and Wendy didn't seem to mind anyone calling them that. In their eyes it was true, after all.

Kellyn was told the day after everyone was healed that his wounds had scarred him. Kate apologised profoundly to the brunette, she knew how he hated scars and, because of that reason, she knew he would cry or scream or worse.

When Kate told him, Kellyn was sat with the others in the mess hall. Caden had taken a liking to the brunette and had therefore been sitting on his knee. The small boy looked up at the brunette, before studying his arms, sure enough there were scars doting all over them.

Though the most noticeable of the scars, much like Serens' was a pale one that had appeared on his cheek. Kellyn looked at his arms, he hadn't even noticed the scars and, to everyones' surprise, he smiled after Kate spoke.

"They're only scars, don't worry about it," he told her. The brunette gaped at her friend, as did everyone else at the table. Seren remained speechless, the two had made friends again after she had tackled him to the ground in a hug, but she couldn't help doubting the brunette.

As soon as Seren had gotten into the Union two days ago, she rang her mothers' number. The black haired girl was sitting on her bed with Caden next to her.

To her surprise, her mother was rather kind and polite towards her. Caden was the one to do most of the speaking. The Ranger Union was going to host a party after a few days and the young boy wanted to stay because of it.

Sarah, who was still a little cautious around Rangers swallowed harshly on the other end of the phone before speaking.

"Alright, take care of him, Seren."

The black haired girl was shock. Her mother normally never spoke her actual name, it was always something horrible she would call her. Seren, who couldn't stop the small smile that formed on her face, spoke a moment later.

"I will. The Union... they wanted to invite our families. If you're free... the invitations there."

And with that, the phone was hung up. Caden smiled and hugged his sister, he was proud of her. Though she never normally spoke to her mother she had to try and be nicer, but that was only so she could see Caden.

The young boy smiled up at Seren, who picked him up in her arms, a larger smile on her face.

"Let's get you some clothes," she ordered and, with that, took off out the room with the young boy. Kellyn met the two up along the way, as did Kate and Keith and together the five went shopping for some clothes for the party.

Kate sighed as she stood in front of her mirror. The Rangers were to get ready in the Union and parents and family were to come later in the night. Keith sat on his bed, fiddling with a tie around his neck.

"Damn thing!" the red head cursed. Kate looked over her shoulder and smiled slightly at the boy. Keith growled as he took the tie off and threw it onto the ground. "Stupid bloody thing! Who the hell invented ties?! I mean, what is the actual purpose of those things?!" Keith asked in anger, folding his arms and leaning back on his bed.

"To make monkeys like you look smart," Kate replied with a small smirk as she picked the tie up. Keith looked at her and blinked a couple of times. It had been a long time since Kate had referred to him as a monkey, he couldn't help but smile.

"I'm not a monkey, Katie," the red head huffed, but chuckled either way. He studied Kate for a moment. Her long blue dress hugged her forming figure perfectly, it was plain and simple and Keith couldn't help but find her extremely attractive in it.

"Come here," the brunette ordered as she took the tie and placed it around Keiths' neck. The red head remained still as he watched his partner tie his tie and pull it up slightly. "There we go," Kate smiled as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Thanks," the red head replied, looking at his tie before standing to his feet. Erma had strictly told the Rangers that it was formal dress for them, hence Kates' dress and Keiths' suit.

"Can't believe you're actually wearing a monkey suit," Kate spoke as she slipped on a pair of flat blue shoes. Keith pulled his blazer on before turning to Kate, who stood with her arms folded.

"Need to respect the Chairwoman," Keith shrugged and buttoned the blazer up. Kate couldn't deny that Keith was extremely good looking, especially in the suit he was wearing. She paid no attention to the fact that his suit was blue and matched her dress or to the fact that he held his arm out for her to take.

"Shall we?" the red head asked. Kate placed her arm through Keiths' and together the two left their room to the mess hall.

"We shall."

"Where is it?! Where is it?!" Kellyn rushed about his room in panic as Seren placed a pair of shoes onto Cadens' feet.

"What are you looking for now?" Seren asked, not bothering to look over her shoulder, she knew he was already running around, she knew the sounds he made when he was looking for stuff.

"My hair jell! Where is it?!" Kellyn asked as Seren quickly fastened the shoes on Cadens' feet.

"You used it all. Here," Seren spoke as she reached into her nightstand and pulled out a tub of Kellyns' hair jell. The brunette took it and, without thinking, placed a kiss on Serens' cheek.

"I bloody love you, thanks!" Seren couldn't help the blush that came onto her face as Caden clapped his hands, cheering loudly.

"Think before you speak and act!" the black haired girl ordered with a flustered expression. Caden giggled at his sister and hugged her around the neck.

"You look pretty, big sister," the younger boy spoke as he looked at the girl, who smiled gently.

"She looks beautiful!" Kellyn called from their bathroom, Caden nodded in agreement. Seren rolled her eyes as the boy and stood to her feet, holding her hand out to Caden.

"And you, my lovely little brother, look very handsome. You're going to steal everyones' hearts tonight," the black haired girl smiled as she walked to her wardrobe, pulling out a black shawl for herself.

"What about me? Will I not steal peoples' hearts?" Kellyn asked as he walked out of the bathroom, his hair spiked in its' signature way.

"No, people already know how annoying you are," Seren replied with a smirk as the brunette hissed slightly.

"Ouch, Seren, I'm hurt," he replied, grasping his heart before walking over to the mirror. His shirt was long sleeved, covering the scars on his arm, but he could see the one of his face clearly.

"Are you okay?" Caden asked as he walked over to Kellyn, who hummed slightly and smiled at the younger boy.

"Very much so, yes. Are we ready?" Kellyn asked as he looked at Seren, who stood, tall and proud in a long black dress, it was slit down her right leg and the shawl covered her shoulders nicely.

"Tie and blazer, Kellyn," the girl ordered. Kellyns' eyes widened as he quickly started to look for his tie, not realising Seren had it in her hands.

"I swear," she muttered, holding the tie up. Kellyn quickly grasped it and started to tie it around his neck, unlike Keith, he knew how to tie one. He then grabbed his blazer, put it on and pulled Caden into his arms.

"Now we're ready," he spoke with a confident smile, looking at the small boy. "Right?" he asked, slightly unsure towards Seren, who smiled and nodded her head.

"Perfect!" the brunette haired boy smiled as he held Caden with his left arm and snaked his right arm around Serens' waist, leading her towards the mess hall.

"Over here!" a voice called as Seren and Kellyn entered the room. They turned their heads, Kate was calling them over. The two walked over with smiles on their faces.

"Oh my gosh, you look adorable!" Rythmi gushed at Caden, who smiled widely at the group in front of them. Kellyn placed the younger boy onto the floor and watched as he ran off, in the direction of Remi.

"You guys look amazing," Seren smiled as she looked at her friends. Small chatter was made amongst the group. Keith and Kate stood most of the time with their arms interlocked, while Kellyn stood with his arm still around Serens' waist, neither seemed to mind and Rythmi couldn't help but grin at the two couples.

"Keith, can I talk to you?" Kellyn asked as he motioned away from the group. The red head nodded and followed his friend away from the group and towards the refreshment table.

"What's up?" Keith questioned as he looked at his friend.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry. You know, for accusing you of trying to get with Seren and stuff," Kellyn admitted. His face was serious and he looked Keith dead in the eyes, the red head couldn't help but smile at the boy.

"Don't worry about it, Kell. I wasn't mad at you and I can see the two of you made up," Keith replied with a grin at the boy. Kellyn blushed slightly, but nodded his head.

"Yeah, I couldn't stand her not being my partner," the brunette muttered as he looked over to Seren, who was laughing loudly with Kate and Rythmi, Wendy had joined the three of them and was also smiling widely.

"You two okay now?" Sven asked as he walked over to the two boys. Keith slung his arm around Kellyns' shoulder and ruffled his jelled hair. The brunette shrieked in objection.

"Let's take that as a yes," Isaac spoke as he looked at the group. No one questioned why Rythmi, who was still in Isaacs' body was laughing with the girls, or why Isaac, in Rythmis' body, was standing around talking with the guys, honestly, no one really care.

As the night progressed people started to enter the mess hall more and more. Ben and Summer had come to the party rather late, having been wanting to meet Rand, Leanne and Nema outside the Union.

The Rangers greeted the three with open arms as Keith and Kellyn questioned the man on what the Oblivia Region was like. Rythmi and Isaac quickly took a liking to Leanne, who was telling them about the lore of Oblivia and the legends of most of the legendary pokemon.

Nema had taken a liking to Kate and Seren. She had taken their Stylers and was tweaking them somewhere in the mess hall. Ben and Summer shook their heads at the blue haired girl and smiled sheepishly.

"You get used to it," they both spoke in Union.

Families arrived in the Union not long after Rand and his family. Kates' family was already present in the Union and Keiths' family... well they couldn't come. Kellyn greeted his mum and dad with a smile and introduced Seren to them with a large grin on his face.

The black haired girl couldn't help but blush as both his mother and father hugged her tightly and thanked her for taking care of their 'little baby'. The two parents then started to pull out photos of Kellyn when he was younger.

Keith stood across the hall with Adir and Freya he was speaking to them about how Kate did on the mission but stopped suddenly. He couldn't have sworn he saw Kellyns' soul leave his body and couldn't stop the laugh that escaped his lips. This caused Adir and Freya to turn and the two quietly supressed their chuckles.

Sven and Wendy both introduced their parents to one another. Svens' family were from Kanto and owned a ranch for any type of pokemon, while Wendys' family were from one of the bigger cities. The two families got along famously, each enjoying the way the other spoke.

Sven and Wendy smiled at each other, listening to their families speak before getting engrossed in their own conversation. It became clear to both families that they would be hearing a lot about the others' child and for that they shook hands and silently approved of the blossoming relationship.

Now the greeting between Isaac and Rythmis' families was strange for the both of them. With Rythmi being in Isaacs' body she had to refer to his parents as mum and dad and vice versa for Isaac.

The two shared an uncomfortable look, but their parents got along like old friends. The Rangers watched from the refreshments table as their parents interacted with one another and couldn't help the smiles that emitted on everyones' faces.

"Aren't your parents coming?" Kellyn asked as he looked at Seren, who shrugged slightly.

"I invited them... whether or not they show up is their choice," the black haired girl answered as she looked at the mingling group among them, a small smile falling onto her face.

"Ladies and Gentleman! Boys and girls! Partner Pokemon!" the voice of Hastings reached everyone in the hall. The chatter died down as respected partner pokemon wandered over to their Rangers.

Seren and Kellyn looked at one another, they were the only two who didn't have a partner, strange, but it didn't bother them.

"I welcome you here tonight in celebration of our most respected Top Rangers and Rangers of the Regions," Kate and the others looked around, surely enough, other Rangers had filled into the mess hall as well.

"I didn't notice," Kate muttered as she petted Glaceon with a small smile.

"Understandable, no one's in uniform," Kellyn muttered as he sweat dropped slightly. How could they have been so blind?

"In order to celebrate a victory after defeating an evil that we have faced that is Cyrus and what we are calling The Darkness," the Rangers had debriefed Hastings and Erma as soon as they had cleared up the Union. It was the older man who had decided on the name for the power that was consuming their Regions.

"Even though we are the only ones who will remember this darkness, we are proud to announce that all of our Rangers were off fighting against this evil that was consuming our homes. We are pleased to announce as well, that all of our Rangers came back to us in good health!" cheers erupted among the crowd as everyone looked around with smiles on their faces.

"Alas," Hastings continued. "We are aware that as a Union there will never be an official end to threats that will appear within our world. But we guarantee that we have the best Rangers to fight against whatever evil that will come our way," the man smiled as he reached for a glass on a nearby table. "Join me, in toasting to our Rangers for saving our Regions," everyone grabbed a glass at that point and held the glasses in the air. "Rangers, join me here," Hastings ordered.

All the Rangers in the room quickly walked to where Hastings was stood, glasses held in their hands as they looked at the older man. He smiled proudly at each and every one of the Rangers, proud of who they had become.

"To our Rangers and their bravery!" Hastings spoke as he held the glass in the air. The Rangers copied his motions, as did everyone else in the room.

"To our Rangers!" everyone called as they took a sip of their drinks. Seren smiled as she looked around the room, she couldn't see everyone clearly, but for a moment she thought she saw... no... couldn't have been.

"You okay?" Kellyn asked as he clinked his glass with Serens'. The black haired girl smiled as Caden rushed over to her. Seren picked him up in her arms and smiled at the crowd in front of them.

They were all alive. The Regions were safe and they were all happy. Things couldn't have gone any better.

"Now, I want all Rangers who are badly injured to focus on getting better before going back to work. Top Rangers, you deserve a vacation. I don't want to see you at the Union for two weeks, Rythmi, Isaac, that includes you," Hastings spoke as he looked at the Rangers standing beside him. The group smiled widely at the man, loving the idea of a vacation.

"Where should we go?"

"Summerland's rather nice."

"I think we should go someplace cold."

"Why don't we actually travel to a different Region?"

"Why not Alola? there's lots of stuff to do there."

Chatter emitted among the Top Rangers immediately after Hastings had stopped speaking and the group couldn't help but laugh as they debated where to go.

"Big sister," Caden spoke as Seren looked at him. He was looking behind the girl at someone moving through the crowd. Kellyn, hearing what the young boy had said turned also.

His eyes turned into a glare as he looked directly at the man and woman walking towards the group. Seren didn't turn around, she didn't care who was walking over to them, that is, until one spoke.

"Seren," the black haired girl froze slightly. The chatter in the group died down and each person turned to look at the woman who was standing behind their friend.

Slowly, cautiously, Seren turned around. Caden whimpered slightly, feeling the tense aura Seren was giving off as she tightened her hold on the boy. The black haired girl stopped as she looked at the two people behind her. Her breath hitched in her throat slightly as she nodded her head once.

"Sarah... Tyler," she spoke. Sarah looked at her daughter, hurt filled her eyes as Tyler frowned deeply. Caden looked between the three and quickly buried his head into Serens' shoulder.

"Can we talk?" Sarah asked as she and Tyler moved slightly. Sarah motioned for the young girl to follow her, but Kellyn gripped her wrist tightly.

"You don't have to go with them," he hissed lowly. Seren smiled at the brunette, she appreciated his concern.

"Take Caden," she ordered and handed her brother to Kellyn, who gently held him in his arms. Seren then looked at her mother and brother before walking between the two and towards the exit of the mess hall.

She hadn't expected either of them to actually show up.
