A punch came towards Momo, forcing her to use her arm to block. Unfortunately for her, the attack was quickly changed to a grapple. Reflexively, she tried to pull her arm back, but that only proved to be an aid to her opponent, who took advantage of the opening in her guard to land a punch to her chin but stopped before actually making contact.

"And the victory goes to Izuku again."

"Could you not say that as if he always wins every time?" Momo said with a snort. "If you remember, Tomomi, we have almost the same number of victories."

"Only if you consider the total number of fights, melee, you only win three out of ten."

"Don't tease her too much, Tomomi, melee isn't her specialty, and I have a few years of more experience than her."

"Aw, Midoriya, let me have some fun. You'll be so busy training to be heroes in a few days that you'll forget little old me." The brunette put a hand to her chin and adopted a thoughtful expression. "Although you guys already do that from time to time."

Izuku chuckled nervously as Momo sighed tiredly before smiling slightly.

Almost two years had passed since Momo had become a Guardian, and she could say with no doubt that it was the best decision she had ever made. Of course, not everything was perfect, but she couldn't be happier.

Shortly after becoming a Guardian, she also accepted the treasurer position in the student council. Not wanting to be left behind, at least according to her, Tomomi demanded to be made the council's secretary, despite the position not even existing. Fortunately, no one was against the creation of the position, neither the school board nor the students. And, by coincidence, Tomomi just happened to be ranked fourth in grades, so the position was rightfully hers.

In reality, it took more work to convince the principal not to give Momo the position of vice president of the council, as her grades were higher than Katsuki's. Therefore she should have the position according to school policies. In the end, Katsuki was allowed to remain as vice president. She came in as treasurer, which for Momo was much better since the vice president had to do more things than the treasurer, and she needed all the extra time available to go through Izuku's crazy training regiments.

Just remembering some of them made Momo shiver, and Katsuki seemed to agree with her as he had the same reaction whenever Izuku became a little more excited about training.

Unfortunately, she couldn't even say that they weren't effective. Even Izuku's craziest ideas ended up having great results; achieving the same fitness level she had now by any other method would be impossible, considering the time it took.

So, despite having to remind Izuku at least once a week that, unlike him, she and Katsuki didn't have super-enhanced bodies obtained from a centuries-old bloodline, she really couldn't complain.

Another thing that had improved in Momo's life was her relationship with others. The girl who wanted to go to school to make friends could say she had the best friends possible.

Her friendship with Tomomi has only grown since the two met. The two still had many tastes in common and were always doing things together; in particular, they liked visiting cafes to eat sweets and talk about books.

Because of this, they discovered a cafe near the school that belonged to Izuku's mother, Midoriya Inko. Inko was a petite lady with big eyes and green hair a little darker than Izuku's. She had an aura around her much like Izuku's, but unlike his, hers only conveyed a sense of tranquility without any of the danger hidden in her son's aura. This aura came from the fact that she had learned to use flames along Izuku, but unlike her son, she had a Rain Flame just like Momo.

It was by talking to her that Momo found out a lot about Izuku and Katsuki, as they were a bit private about their lives outside of school. And it was thanks to this knowledge that she found it easier to approach them.

According to Inko, when Izuku and Katsuki got the scholarship to their school, neither Inko nor Katsuki's parents tried to get them to change their minds about moving so they could attend school, as they were from Shizuoka and would need to go to Aichi since traveling every day would be impossible. They couldn't live alone because they were too young.

So, they teamed up and, using money they had gotten after selling an impossible amount of gold that Izuku and Katsuki had somehow found while excavating Vongola bases looking for clues about the rings, bought two plots of land in Aichi, one where Inko's cafe would be built, with a couple of apartments upstairs for them to live in, and another one where Mitsuki and Masaru, Katsuki's parents, started their fashion company.

After discovering this, Momo and Tomomi became regulars at the cafe, always going there at least once a week to enjoy themselves. It helped a lot that Inko had been the one to teach Katsuki how to make tea, and hers somehow managed to be even better than his, which was already better than the ones prepared by the renowned chefs her family had access to daily. Even her sweets were better than those from nationally famous bakeries.

At first, she thought she would have a complicated relationship with Katsuki, as he seemed utterly indifferent to most people, always wearing a bored face. Fortunately, she quickly discovered that Katsuki wasn't like that most of the time and was only like that in school. Katsuki seems to have a massive problem with anger and stress, something he inherited from his mother, and at school, he prefers to keep to himself and avoid other people. Over time, he improved and acted usually no matter the situation, although he tended to give more aggressive solutions than necessary for some cases.

The main thing about Katsuki was understanding how he worked, which wasn't too hard considering he only seemed to want to get stronger. His work ethic was exemplary, if a little over the top, and training with him was a nightmare at first, as the words "take it easy" didn't exist in his dictionary.

But despite that, Katsuki was a great friend, loyal, and always willing to help others. Also, a great cooker if you are a little addicted to peppers.

Finally, there was Izuku. At first, Momo didn't know what to make of the green-haired boy. Since her first impression had yet to be exemplary, she tried to keep an open mind about him.

However, as time passed and they interacted more, Momo only got more questions about Izuku. First, it was like there were two different Izuku; one super focused, who was able to do just about anything without a fuss, and who had the answers for any situation, and there was another who was incredibly clumsy, tripping over nothing and messing things up all the time.

After observing this situation for some time, Momo's curiosity got the better of the training she had received in manners, and she had to ask how or why Izuku was the way he was.

This was a problem not just for him but for his entire family. Or at least, of all those who possessed Sky Flames and what Izuku called "Hyper Intuition," a blood trait inherited by those who possessed the "Blood of Vongola." In more modern terms, it would be the same as saying that Izuku had a Quirk that amplified all of his senses. And, just like Quirks, there could be variations on this Hyper Intuition.

Izuku, like his ancestor, Sawada Tsunayoshi, had a more powerful Hyper Intuition than usual, which made him super aware of everything around him. In reality, Izuku wasn't tripping over anything, but his ability would make him focus on something else, making him fall. This was also why he always looked ready to react. The truth is that he was prepared to respond.

After receiving this explanation, Momo slowly fitted the strange things Izuku did with her new knowledge. Initially, she had thought that the fact that he always had a headset on when doing any council work was to provide a little distraction from the monotonous work. Still, it was really to shut out other external stimuli.

Another thing he had a habit of doing was walking around the school with his eyes closed. For him, what would typically be dangerous for others was just a way to navigate the school without being overwhelmed.

That was actually why he bumped into her when they first met. Izuku could not sense Momo as she was covered in Rain Flames, strong enough to mask her presence but not so robust that Izuku could feel them in time.

Another thing that was at least interesting was the fact that Izuku had a way of communicating with the former leader of the Vongola, Tsunayoshi. Honestly, his explanation still made little sense to Momo, but the fact that it was real was undeniable. Much of the knowledge that Izuku had about the Vongola, flames, and other things that occurred when Tsuna lived could only be explained by the fact that he had direct access to this information.

Izuku was also ridiculously intelligent, which, combined with his Hyper Intuition, it was as if he could foresee things and find solutions to even the most difficult situations in an instant.

Using this, he quickly figured out the best way to train Momo, both physically and for her flames, what her strengths would be, and what she would need to work on more. It took 5 minutes after a brief spar with her and a few questions about her likes and preferences. And he had nailed it.

Izuku was also a great listener, although they could have been better at giving more personal advice. Surprisingly, Katsuki was better at it.

Momo had nothing to complain about in her current life.

"Momo, you're spacing out again!"

"Ah, sorry, did you say something, Tomomi?"

"See, not even got to U.A. and is already ignoring me," The brunette huffed. "Poor me, I'll be all alone."

"Stop being so dramatic, and it's not like you aren't going to U.A. too."

"But I'm going to mope around in a room talking about management and business while you guys are having fun."

"First, we're not going to have fun; it's training. Second, you said you were attending the U.A. business course, so don't complain."

"You're right; if not me, who will care for your future agency?"

Another event was the inclusion of Tomomi in Izuku's plans. When he discovered that, despite not wanting to be a Hero, the girl planned to be part of the hero industry, he didn't think twice before suggesting she could work for the future Vongola. Since many things about the Vongola would have to be left between Izuku and the Guardians, having someone who already had a relationship with them would be better. And despite having to keep some secrets, Izuku never made a point of completely hiding everything from her. Tomomi knew there were things they couldn't tell her, but she didn't care.

"And I will be forever grateful that you accepted my proposal," Izuku said in such a way that it was impossible to tell if he was being sarcastic or not. "Now, we better go before Katsuki gets mad that we left all the paperwork with him."

"You guys are too slow. I already finished and handed everything to the teachers," Katsuki spoke as he walked towards them. "Now, you guys can do me a favor to pay me back."

"What does Aunt Mitsuki need?"

"You, me, and one of the girls for the new catalog."

"Momo can do that. Thank you so much, but I never want to do that again!"

"It was just a photo shoot, and you got a bunch of clothes too."

"And that one session was enough for my whole life, thank you very much but no," said Tomomi to Momo. "Besides, you're much better than me in this situation. Think it's training for the future when you have your face stamped on things everywhere."

"Okay, I get it." Momo then turned to Katsuki, knowing that she would have no way of escaping. "When will your mother need us?"

"This weekend. One of the photographers screwed up and lost the summer catalog shots."

"Ah, so that's why Auntie called my mom yesterday?"

"Yeah, she needs as many people as possible as soon as possible, so she decided to call Aunt Inko and you guys. It's easier to work with someone who already has experience."

"I still can't believe your mom managed to rope all of us to help her."

"You talk like you haven't had fun every time you've participated, Rain Girl."

"Okay, I admit it. It's fun. And don't call me that."

"I thought you stopped giving nicknames to others," said Izuku with a sigh. "At least they're not bad or mean?"

"And be happy about it, Flaming Carrot."

"Aunt Mitsuki kept all the creativity for herself. You suck!"

As Izuku and Katsuki began to argue, Momo and Tomomi chuckled a bit before walking back towards the council room, knowing the other two would follow even in the middle of one of their "discussions."

Despite all the weird situations and the madness that now seemed to follow Momo constantly, she wouldn't change a thing.

A long sigh echoed throughout the room.

Sitting at one of the tables, a man was attentively reading something on a computer. He spent a few more minutes staring at the screen before him before sighing again as he rubbed his eyes.

The silence in the room was interrupted again, but this time by the sound of a door opening. The man sitting at the computer turned towards the door where there was a kind of animal similar to a mouse, but much larger, walking on its hind legs, wearing a white shirt underneath a double-breasted vest and social pants and a pair of oversized orange sneakers. The animal approached the table where the man was sitting, raising one of its paws in a greeting.

"How are you, All Might?"

The man turned the chair he was sitting in. He had swept blond hair, angular features, and a long neck. Despite the baggy clothes he was wearing, it wasn't hard to see how thin he was.

"I've been better, Principal Nezu, sir."

"You should stop blaming yourself for what happened before Recovery Girl loses her temper with you," Nezu said, pulling up a nearby chair, jumping onto it, and sitting down. "She's already mad at you for the amount of sleep you're missing."

"I know, it's just..."

"You are still feeling guilty about what happened to Young Togata. While I understand why you are so worried about him, please remember that he will fully recover in a few days." Nezu then leaned towards the blonde. "But that's not the only reason you're here working non-stop, right?"

"I should have known you would notice."

"So, what are your conclusions?"

"It looks like we were fortunate that Young Togata went through that despite the side effects to his health." He then pointed to the computer "My research on past users seems to indicate that what he told us is real, and the reaction would be the same, if not worse, even if it were a different person."

"That's what I thought."

"Unfortunately, it looks like this legacy will end with me." The blonde smiled. "But don't worry, I'll still dedicate myself to teaching the next generation of Heroes to leave the world in capable hands."

"I'm pleased to hear that, but I'd like to add something on the subject we discussed."

"What would it be?"

"Young Togata was given an analogy, 'A full jar has no more space.' What if that was more than just a warning?"

"More than a warning?"

"Yes, we can also look at this analogy in another way: if a full jar has no more room, what if we use an empty jar?"

"Empty? If the empty jar represents a person with a Quirk, then an empty jar would be..."

"A Quirkless Person."

"Could I pass it on to a Quirkless person?"

"I would have to analyze the data you obtained to come to a more solid conclusion, but the chances are high."

"So there's still a chance!"

"Yes, just give me time to verify that my hypothesis is correct, and then we'll see how to proceed from there." With that, Nezu leaned back against the chair more relaxedly. "With that said, I came here for another reason. I want you to do something for me, All Might."

"What do you need me for, Principal Sir?"

"A very curious thing happened this year with the Recommended Exam candidates. Although rare, there have been cases where one participant decided not to take the exam, but this was the first time that three decided not to take it. Also, when a student refuses to take the recommended exam, he must know why. Imagine my surprise when three identical letters arrived to me, just thanking them for the opportunity but saying they would take the Regular Exams."

"So the three candidates in question know each other?"

"The three of them study at the same school and are part of the Student Council."

"A curious case, though; I don't see why you would bring it to my attention, sir."

"I was just explaining why I was curious and giving you some background on my motivations. Let's skip to the important part, then. I went after the information on these three candidates because I was curious, and while two had standard information, the third caught my attention."

Nezu turned to the computer before him and brought up the candidate information he was talking about with a few quick commands.

"Midoriya Izuku, fifteen years old, is tied for the best student in the country along with Yaoyorozu Momo. He is the Student Council President of his school and is described as a dedicated and kind young man."

"He seems like a good kid."

"All the reports made about him by the school indicate this. But what caught my attention was something else. His school keeps a record of the Quirks of all students as a form of internal control in case of illegal use of Quirks. Take a look."

"Let's see. The name is 'Hyper Mode.' It allows the user to enter a state where their physical characteristics are strengthened. When entering "Hyper Mode" a flame lights up on the user's head. This Quirk also has a passive component that enhances the user's senses outside of 'Hyper Mode'. It is speculated that the user may be able to generate flames in the future when the user reaches an adequate level of development to be able to sustain such attrition without hampering their development." All Might looked at Nezu after he finished reading. "It seems to be a powerful quirk with great growth potential."

"With that Quirk and his other abilities, it's not hard to say that he will be one of our new students."

"And considering you thought it important to bring this to my attention, there's something else about him."

"I said this was his school's record. The government's record of his Quirk was a little different."

Again Nezu turned to the computer to open a new file.

"Quirkless?"

"Yes, Quirkless, and not only that, with several tests attached proving the veracity of the information. It seems that the boy's mother carried out several tests after the first one."

"And now he has a Quirk?"

"And, like you said, a powerful quirk. Not only that, but him having this Quirk makes sense considering his parents' Quirks."

"Do you think this could be something done by him?"

"It's a possibility, although leaving all that trail doesn't seem like something he would do."

"I imagine you want me to keep an eye on the boy."

"Exactly. Even though you defeated him, there could still be remnants of his allies, and Midoriya Izuku could be the key to discovering something."

"Don't worry. I'll watch him."

"Very good, now...go home and sleep before Recovery Girl decides she needs to help you sleep!"

Just thinking about the possibility made the blonde shiver. Without thinking twice, he got up quickly and almost ran as fast as possible away.
