"Here we are, the Beanbean Kingdom!"

The other Kingdoms were far easier to convince than Bowser was. Cappy said he already heard and was preparing, the others hadn't, however, so at first some started panicking. Thankfully, Mayor Pauline was willing to help with supplies and power-ups, although she had nobody that could actually fight...

I heard Queen Bean was nice so, all hope's on her.

"Ah, Queen Peach!"

Somebody came over flying on what looked like a bean. He had fluffy blond hair and white clothing with a red cape. He also had a sword, while I was still trying to fold a sheath long enough for mine. I had gotten the side wrong thrice.

"Prince Peasley!" Peach said happily. "We were actually on our way to talk to Queen Bean. We'll need your approval to enter though, she doesn't know we're coming."

"Oh, but of course!" He happily agreed. Then, his smile faded as he saw Fawful. "Oh look. It's you. You're finally coming back after being outcasted, hm?"

Fawful stared at the ground and looked quite sad.

"Hey, leave him alone!" I said, standing in front of Fawful.

Peasley ignored Fawful after that, and faced back to Peach. "You're the Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom, you're always welcome inside!"

He went over to the two guards nearby and started conversing with them. I faced Fawful.

"Are you alright?"

Fawful still looked sad.

"I guess you did become a villain, huh...I guess that earned you some pretty bad hate from the Beanbeans huh?"

"Beanish."

"Huh?"

"They are called the Beanish."

"Oh-right..." At least Fawful was talking again. I faced back to the castle doors to find Prince Peasley, Peach, Mario, and Luigi walking inside. "Let's go," I said to Fawful.

He resumed walking behind me as I entered. The guards seemed afraid of Bowser, but didn't seem to know who Dimentio nor I were.

We had continued along the halls until we made it to the throne room. There sat the surprisingly obese Queen Bean. I peeked around Mario to get a better look.

She was wearing an orange dress with a golden rim and a white high collar. She had a scepter topped with a bean next to her, leaning against the throne. Her hair was purple, it slightly squashed where her crown sat. She seemed happy to see Peach again, besides the fact she always seemed to be smiling...

Hm...

Fawful had also gone quiet again.

Peach walked closer to her. "Queen Bean, we want to warn you of an oncoming threat and ask for your help in dealing with it." Peach did a curtsey. She faced me. "Olly? If you would."

"Oh? Um, right." They had used me to explain every time so far because I had witnessed Black Rose's plan. I walked closer to her and bowed. "I am King Olly of the Origami Kingdom."

"Oh, I've heard about you! You have Fold of Life, right?"

"Uh-um yes...But that's enough about me." I cleared my throat so my voice would stop squeaking. "You see, there's somebody named Black Rose who's out to get me. The thing is, they also want everybody's powers and abilities."

"So that's where those clouds came from..."

"Yes, Black Rose is already building an army. We warned many Kingdoms before coming to you. Peach tells me you can help us."

"Any enemy of the Mushroom Kingdom is an enemy of ours," Peasley said. "Plus, we still owe you a favor for helping us with our little...Cackletta problem." He glanced at Fawful when he mentioned that name.

Cackletta...It sounds familiar.

"Of course we'd help you, Peach! You did so for us, so we'll do the same for you."

Peach smiled. "Thank you so much!"

I looked over at Fawful. He seemed ashamed and scared. I felt bad for him, so I came over.

"You can talk to her, you know." I gave him a gentle smile. If I could help Dimentio, I could help Fawful.

He shook his head.

"Aw, come on. She's nice," I said, gently pushing Fawful closer to her throne.

"Olly, nooo!" I backed away from him before he wacked me in the face.

"Fawful?! What are you still doing here? When I said you were outcasted, that was your cue to leave-" Peasley started, before Queen Bean signaled for him to stop.

Fawful faced the Queen.

"Go on, Fawful. You have permission to speak," she said. "What brings you back here after so long?"

Fawful fell to his hands and knees. "Fawful's sorry!" He started ramming his forehead on the floor. Everytime he rammed his head on the floor resulted him in ending his words with a space. "Fawful. Was. The. Bad. Person! Fawful. Doesn't. Deserve. The. Queen. Bean's. Niceness!"

"Faw-" She tried. "Fawful. Fawful, Fawful. Fawful!"

He stopped and looked up at her.

"We already forgave you a while ago," she said. "It's Peasley you need to apologize to. He's been really upset about you ditching his friendship for the job of Cackletta's apprenticeship..."

"Fawful and Prince Peasley were friends?" Dimentio said in disbelief.

I heard Fawful sniff, although I could not see his face. "Peasley? Fawful's sorry..."

Peasley looked away from him. "Are you sure? Are super-duper sure?"

"Fawful's the super-duper sure..."

Peasley smiled at Fawful. "Okay; since you're super-duper sure."

"Peasley!" Fawful tackled the prince.

"I think you forgot how heavy you were! Fawful!"

"Aww, how sweet!" Peach said. "Two friends reunited at long last!"

Peasley was able to push Fawful off of him, and Fawful walked back over to Queen Bean.

"So, Fawful...How have your parents been?" She seemed awkward, most likely because she had not seen him in a while, and last time she did, he was plotting against the kingdom...

"They're...they're the defeated?"

"Oh, I'm so sorry!"

"You have parents?" Dimentio asked.

"Wasn't one of them a Toadie?" Queen Bean asked.

"One of your parents was a Toadie?!"

"What's a Toadie...?" I asked. That name was not familiar to me.

"They-a kidnapped Luigi when we were babies," Mario answered.

"When's Luigi not getting kidnapped?" Bowser inserted. "I kidnapped him-three times."

"You were a baby once?!"

"How old are-a you, then?"

"I'm over a hundred," Dimentio responded. "You loose track after to hundred and tenth or so birthday party. After you hit twenty, you should start using numbered candles...my cake caught fire one year and tasted like fireplace."

"Have you eaten the fireplace once?" Fawful had finally faced us again, and I saw his glasses were broken.

"I was dared to eat the remains of a fireplace, if that's what you're asking."

"Why do your friends give you really absurd dares?!" I asked, generally concerned.

"Puppetino was weird, I admit it. It's like she was...trying to...get me...killed..." He laughed. "But don't mind me, I'm doing just fine! AHAHAHAHA!"

Everybody looked concerned.

"It's a darn good thing the Sprites can't die except by serious freakin' damage! AHAHAhaha...haa...Ahh, my face hurts now..."

Fawful leaned over to me. "He is having the crisis..."

"Yeah, I feel bad for him-"

"Anyways," Dimentio interrupted, "shouldn't we be plannin' against Black Rose or somethin? Who wants Black Rose to die? I do! Yaaay!"

It was very concerning seeing his reaction to pain this way."Dimentio? How much pain are you in?"

"Pain? Who's in pain? Not me! I wanna see them suffer!" Dimentio laughed again. What made it scary is that was his full-hearted laugh, and not a half-hearted one like he usually does around me. "Who's dying?" He was still unusually happy, so I knew he was still masking his suffering.

"Let's just go prepare." I started out the door. "Dimentio? I want to talk with you later, if you're free."

"OOOOH!" Fawful said to Dimentio. "You're in the trouble!"
