Lincoln continues his journey back home feeling happy about the experience he has had today with Ronnie Anne. Full of joy, he stops in place, grabs his phone from his pocket, and checks the time.

"5.30 pm." He says" Only 15 minutes and I will be back home and safe and sound".

He turns off his phone, places it back into his pocket, and begins walking again. But as he begins his adventure back home, he feels something drop onto his head. startled by it he looks up to see the little raindrops appearing from the gloomy sky.

He clenches his fist and points to the sky" You have to start raining? Especially when I don't have a coat on!" he says

But as he pleads for the rain to stop, the rain begins to pour even more, eventually becoming unbearable for him.

"All right operation get home before I get soaked!" he says to himself and begins to run home.

Meanwhile, Luna is making herself a nice cup of tea in the kitchen. After a long day of messing around with Lisa's newest invention, she decided that it would be nice to relax for a bit, she takes a sip of her iced tea and begins to look outside the window, she stares at the madness proceeding in front of her. She smiles watching her sister Luan performing Lynn's ridiculous obstacle course challenges, which Lynn has made for her upcoming competition with Lincoln.

She takes another sip of her tea and sighs" Man, I wonder what Lisa is doing now?"

She averts her gaze from the window and begins to walk out of the kitchen, trying to find her younger sister.

"Knowing Lisa, she's probably performing another experiment" she mutters.

She walks out of the kitchen and enters the living room to see her older sister Leni sitting on the couch. She furrows her eyebrows and gets weirded out by the sight.

"Leni watching the news? It must be dam good if she's watching it" she chuckles to herself.

The musical-loving sister walks over to the couch and sits next to her bubbly sister.

"Hey, Leni bro what up with you watching the news?" she asks with intrigue with what Leni is watching.

Leni pauses the tv and turns to Luna" Didn't you hear Luna? Today these weird portal things have been appearing in royal woods, there like totes so cool! She exclaimed.

Leni grabs the remote and unpauses the news channel.

"Luna keeps your attention on the tv, you're going to see someone enter one of the portals." she says with confusion.

Luna Awkwardly chuckles and begins to scratch the back of her head" Dam can't wait to ha…ha" she says with an awkward smile.

Luna continues watching the news with Leni, eager to see if what Leni is telling her is true. As they continue watching the tv, a news reporter appears on the tv standing next to one of the portals.

"Good afternoon royal woods we are witnessing a phenomenon today!" the reporter exclaims" These weird portals have been appearing around town, it's been reported that the portals have begun making their appearances today."

Luan grins her teeth together knowing she has made a problem.

"Today folks, we have a special treat for you all" the reporter exclaims" Lori loud, one of the many sisters of the loud house family, has volunteered to enter one of the portals to see what lies ahead on the other side."

Luna and Leni exchange glance at each other, with Lenis being full of excitement while Lunas is full of worry.

Let's go Lori!" Leni exclaims" Show the portal who the queen is".

Luna listens to her sister's nonsense and smiles" Leni bro, the portals are not bad guys you know, they don't fight back or anything."

Leni gives her a confused look" I'm totes not sure Luna, none of us have interacted with these mysterious portals yet unless you have interacted with one that on not unaware of?"

Luna shakes her head" I haven't interacted with one yet."

The two carry on watching the tv to see their sister crossing her arms with an annoyed look" I didn't sign up for this. But fine al do it anyway"

"Well, you wanted to be on tv, and besides what happened to your dress?" he asks hiding his chuckle.

Lori snatches the microphone" Some stupid waiter accidentally spilled my coca on me, which got all over my dress, like literally how does that even happen?

The reporter grabs the microphone from Lori" But it's completely chucking it down, why are you upset by a waiter spilling something on you? We are all wet through".

Lori snatches the microphone back" But the difference between getting covered in the rain and being covered in coco is that I'm literally burning from the coca, not cold!" she says while fighting for her dear life to keep the microphone.

The reporter snatches back the microphone" Well I'm not sure, but don't dwell on it, just test out the portal and we can get this over and done with!" he pleaded.

Lori sighed" Fine I will test it out, I wouldn't be surprised if one of Lisa's." She mutters under her breath.

Bobby worried about Loris safely puts his hand on her shoulder" Are you sure you will be okay Lori? What happens If you don't return?" he says with worry in his voice.

Don't worry Bobby, I will be fine, and besides it's not as bad as the waiter accidentally spilling my drink on me earlier." Lori says.

With that, she begins her march to the portal not showing any fear. Bobby and the reporters watch worried and intrigued by what's going to happen when she enters through the portal.

Lori makes her way next to the portal and looks down at it. While looking down at it she places her hand in front of her eye to cover the bright light that is emitting from it. she gets a bit closer to get a better look at the strange phenomenon to see that the portal moves in a strange pattern like. From an outsider's view, the pattern is almost hypnotic in a way.

Lori focusing all her attention on the strange pattern loses all her focus and falls through the portal as the others watch in shock as the portal closes.

The others run over to get a better view.

The reporter gets over first and says" Well like that folks! Lori is loud one of the siblings from the loud house has just completely disappeared. It's like the port evaporated into thin air! The crazier than anything iv ether seen before." He looks down at the ground completely in disbelief.

Bobby runs over and starts t the ground" Oh god where did she go!" he says panicking.

One of the people on the reporting crew taps Bobby on the head causing him to turn around" Look man is not where she has gone. However, we will keep you notified of the latest news when it comes out. So, I'm going to patiently ask you to leave. We can take care of this."

"But you don't understand, she is my girlfriend! I can't just leave I…" but before he can finish, he feels a buzz in his pocket."

He puts his hand into his pocket and picks out his phone. He goes on his phone and notices the new notification he has just gotten.

"Bobby, can you please pick me up? I spent my day with Lamo and told him that you're going to pick me up at the park. was the thing that happened on your date that bad!" he reads.

Remembering what he was supposed to do after finishing the date early he places his phone back into his pocket and looks at the dude.

"All right I will leave, but here's my number so you can update me on the latest news as fast as possible" he gives it to the reporting crew member and makes a mad dash to his car.

The final shot of the news channel was the news reporter clicking his fingers together signaling to the reporting team to turn off the live feed.

Luna and Leni watch as the live feed goes to black. They stare at each other in total confusion about what has just transpired on the tv.

"Omg, Luna! What do you think has happened to Lori" Leni says completely afraid of her older sister's whereabouts.

Luna watches with a sense of guilt" I'm not entirely sure Leni" she says scratching her head and letting out an awkward chuckle" But let's just sit back and relax Leni. I'm sure that the news dudes can sort this problem out in no time, there experts".

Leni turns back from looking at the tv and looks at Luna dumbfounded" Experts? But there like totes just cameramen. I'm pretty sure they are not going to solve this problem, Luna. Like the reporter said he hasn't seen anything like this before, I don't anybody in that crew has any idea what's going on Luna." Leni says with aggression.

Luna shuffles away from Leni, putting her hands in front of her to protect herself from her ditzy sister" Look, Leni, calm down alright dude, everything is going to be alright" she says trying to reassure her.

With sadness building up inside Leni, fearing that her sister could be gone forever, tears begin to stream out of her eyes" You don't understand Luna! Lori could be gone forever, and we just watched it happen right in front of our eyes!" She says crying, trying to wipe the tears flowing from her eyes while Luna watches.

But before Luna could say anything to distract her sister from the situation that just transpired, Leni gets up from the couch and runs upstairs bowling her eyes out as Luna watches with guilt washing all over her.

"Dammit if I only wasn't so reckless with the portal gun. Why did I have to do it on the streets of royal woods where people would see the portals clear as day!" she says to herself completely annoyed at her own dumb actions.

But as she thinks about the actions she did early in the day. An important strike like lighting through her head

"Wait a minute," Luna exclaimed, her eyes widening with excitement. "If the portal closed, then that means she must have gotten through the portal safely. But where did she transport to then? It must not have been that far because it's in Royal Woods, but where in Royal Woods?" she said to herself, pondering on the last time she shot the portal out of the device.

But as she was about to remember where the portal must have taken Lori, Lincoln walked through the front door completely drenched from the pouring rain outside. Luna snapped out of her thoughts and focused her attention on Lincoln, temporarily forgetting about her worries.

"Lincoln, you're completely soaked! What happened?" she exclaimed, rushing over to him with a towel. Lincoln shivered slightly from the cold but took the towel from Luna and began to dry himself.

"It started off with me finishing my day out with Ronnie Anne. It began to rain heavily, and I tried to run back home as fast as I could, but I guess the rain had other plans for me," he chuckled, trying to brush off the situation.

Luna gave her brother a concerned look. "Well, at least you're safe, dude. Something strange just happened on the news."

Lincoln looked at her intrigued. "Why? What happened? And why do I feel like it's something really bad?"

"You see, Lincoln, I'll keep the explanation as short as possible. Basically, I was messing around with Lisa's invention in Royal Woods. I wasn't focusing on what I was doing, and let's just say that the whole of Royal Woods knows about the portals that the invention fires. Lori was on the news and decided to go through one of them, but the portal closed as she went through it."

"Closed... like she's trapped in some other dimension?"

"No, Linc, she's not trapped in another dimension or something like that. She has just been transported to another location in Royal Woods. But I don't remember where she would be. That's what I'm trying to figure out."

But before Lincoln could respond, he heard faint cries coming from upstairs and turned his attention back to Luna.

"Luna, what's that sound upstairs? Do I hear crying?"

"Oh yeah, you see Leni thinks that Lori could have possibly died." Luna says

"Wait, what? Why aren't you comforting her and telling her that she isn't gone?" Lincoln says annoyed.

"Because I was beating myself up about my stupid actions, but while I was, I realized that she was safe and sound. She's just somewhere else in Royal Woods now, dude."

Lincoln nodded. "Well, I'm glad to know that she's safe at least. But can you go upstairs and try to comfort Leni and tell her that Lori is safe? Hearing Leni cry is making me sad."

Luna nodded. "Alright, Lincoln. I'm planning on asking Leni to join me in the search to find her, and I was wondering if you would want to join us.?"

"Any other day, I would definitely join you guys on the search. However, I'm too exhausted to walk any longer. I spent most of my day playing video games in the arcade with Ronnie Anne, and trust me, you would feel terrible after a long session like that."

Luna smiled, understanding Lincoln's reason. "That's fine, little dude. Get some rest because tomorrow is your final day to prepare before your competition with Lynn starts on Wednesday."

Lincoln nodded, remembering the competition. He walked over to the couch, stretched, and then collapsed onto it, feeling more at home than ever before. He looked to his right to see his sister walking upstairs, smiling, knowing that Luna was going to cheer Leni up.

He looked to his left and noticed the TV remote lying there. As he moved over to grab it, unexpectedly, a hand grabbed it first. He looked to see who it was, only to find an overcompetitive Lynn, drenched in the rain.

"Ha, it seems like Luan and I weren't the only ones to get drenched by the rain," Lynn said, shaking her head and causing a few drops of water to land on Lincoln's face.

Lincoln wiped the drops of water off his face and stared at his sister. "How are you and Luan wet? Haven't you spent all day at home?"

"Well, you're half right, Lincoln. Luan and I have spent all day at home, but Luan has been testing the contraptions for our obstacle course challenge on Wednesday. Pretty cool, right?"

Lincoln nodded, excited to show off his skills in the competition. "Yeah, it's cool, Lynn. Can you show me what the challenges you're going to put me through look like?"

"Yeah, why not," Lynn said.

Lincoln got up from the couch and followed his sister to the door outside. He tried to peer through the window to get a proper look, but the raindrops blocked his vision, making it blurry.

"Oh, dammit! I wanted to see how cool the challenges look, but I guess I'm only going to see them when the rain goes away." Lincoln says

"Come on, Lincoln, don't be a chicken. Just open the door and get a proper view of the challenges we're going to go through. If I were an outsider looking at this situation, Lincoln, it would look like your chicken and afraid of a little bit of water."

Lincoln hesitated for a moment, not wanting to get his clothes wet again, but then realized that if he was going to get drenched once, he might as well get drenched from the rain twice. He opened the door and walked into the backyard, feeling the pouring raindrops all over him.

He took a deep breath and looked at the obstacle course Lynn had set up. Despite the rain pouring down on him, it didn't dampen his excitement for the upcoming competition. Lynn stood next to him, proudly looking at her work.

"Check it out, Lincoln! I've designed these challenges to test our agility, speed, and strength. Isn't it amazing?" Lynn says

Lincoln nodded, taking a few extra seconds to get a better view of the course. There were ropes to swing across, balancing beams, and narrow hallways to navigate while avoiding boxing gloves. He realized that the course his sister had made was very impressive but knew that she had some help with it.

He turned to Lynn and grinned. "Are you sure you made it all by yourself, Lynn? I know someone must have helped you with the course. You've made it extremely complex. Did Lana help you?"

Lynn reluctantly nodded. "Yeah, she did. I guess I shouldn't say I did it all by myself. However, I was the one who came up with the idea and foundation of the design. Plus, I actually helped her build it instead of watching her do it all by herself."

Lincoln smiled. "Well, thanks for being honest." He went back to admiring the course.

Lynn watched her brother's reaction and waited for his approval. "So, what do you think, Lincoln? Are you ready to take on the challenge when the day comes?"

A mix of excitement and determination filled Lincoln as he turned to his sister. "Absolutely, Lynn! I'm up for the challenge, rain or shine. When Wednesday rolls around, I will give it my all and show you what I'm made of!"

Lynn grinned, her competitive spirit shining through. "That's what I like to hear! Get ready to be amazed, Lincoln. Our competition will be legendary."

Lincoln nodded. "It will, Lynn, it will. But I advise we go back inside now. I don't want to be standing out here any longer." He says while wiping the rain from his forehead.

Lynn shakes the drops of water from her head, cringes from the coldness, and nods in agreement. "Yeah, I agree. The rain is really getting on my nerves."

As they both headed back inside, leaving the rain behind, Lincoln felt a surge of excitement in his veins from the anticipation for Wednesday. However, he couldn't help but think about Lori's sudden disappearance through the portal. The worry crept into the back of his mind, but he pushed the thought aside for the moment, knowing that Luna and Leni were going to take care of it.

Lincoln and Lynn made their way to the couch and spent the next couple of hours watching cartoons. But as the dark night descended, they both decided it was best to get a good night's sleep.

They went upstairs, and Lincoln went through his usual night-time routine, brushing his teeth and having a nice warm bubble bath to calm himself from his worries. After finishing his relaxing session, he dried himself and made his way over to his room, closed the door, and dropped into his bed, completely drained from today's activities. He lay down on his bed, smiling, knowing that tomorrow was going to be an awesome day, and then quietly fell asleep through the freezing cold night.
