She bit my arm near my elbow and teared it right off, a trail of blood following.
"Olly!"
"Stay back, Olivia."
She tossed it on the ground and shot a beam at it. It vanished, and her gaze turned back to me.
"Now you really can't fight!"
She charged for my face, and I braced myself. I opened my eyes to find she had hit my wings, and dug her claws into them.
I screamed and tossed her off with my tail.
"Yeesh, why not add salt to an open wound?" My wings were now bleeding. "Or in this case, add open wounds to open wounds."
"Watch out-" Rosalina called.
I looked up and the Dragon of Darkness latched herself onto my face.
"You can't fight if you can't see!" She reached a clawed hand to my right eye. It was inches away from my face when she stopped and turned her head. "Who threw that rock?!"
"It was me! Leave my brother alone, you overgrown, beam-spitting, lizard monster!"
"DIE!" She charged at Olivia, pushing me down when she used my face to launch herself.
"Olivia, no!"
The same purple forcefield from before appeared in front of Olivia. It was flashing into a dimmer purple, but I knew Vambrace was protecting her.
"Vambrace!-!" I covered my face with my wings. Shoot, now she knew Vambrace was still protecting us.
She slowly turned her head to me and laughed. "So, that arm band actually has feelings?" She pushed her head under my wings. She gave me a sharp-toothed grin. "Tell me then, boy, why does it care for you so?"
I was frozen in fear. I had already lost both of my arms and now almost an eye...If I were to suffer anymore damage without being able to heal it, I would be dead for sure!
"You don't know? You could have just said that." She dug her claws into my legs.
I tried to smack her away with my tail, but she caught it in her teeth. The purple started running up my tail and legs, causing me to be in even more pain than before. If only she weren't a dragon.
Wait, that's it!
She's a dragon, so her scales are nearly impenetrable! But if I were able to knock some off, then she would have a weak point!
But, I had to get free first.
She leaned in closer to me and dropped my tail. It fell to the ground with a thud. "Any last words, kid?"
"Yes, in fact I do."
"Then speak now, where everybody can hear!" She moved my wings with her tail.
I smiled. "Ciao."
"What?!"
I bit her on the head in between the eyes, digging that one surprisingly long and sharp tooth further into her head until she pushed me off.
Her face was now bleeding, and she was MAD. She growled at me and took flight again, knowing I couldn't fly with my damaged wings.
"Try this on for size!" She shot a beam at me, but I blocked it with my wings. She screamed and tried again. "Why won't you die?!"
The beams were unable to go past my wings, but the holes in them were growing ever-so-slightly larger with each blow. I wouldn't be able to hold off for much longer.
"Why are you like this? What drives you to such lengths to do this?"
"POWER!"
"But we all had our reasons! Dimentio was from pain, mine from fear..."
"Fawful wanted power too!" She shot another beam at me.
"Okay, fair point there. But still, is getting power really worth hurting all of these people?!"
She stopped, and looked at the crowd of people. "Yes."
She shot another beam at me, aiming right for the largest hole in my left wing. The skin between the bones burned off, and it got me right in the hoof. She moved the beam up me until it got to my face. It was actually very blinding.
