Chapter Six: Shocker
A few weeks later…
Beginning of October
Lindsay ran over to Heather, with big news. "Heather, heather!" she exclaimed.
"What?" asked Heather, rolling her eyes.
Lindsay pointed over to the door, and whispered, "The new girl's here." Heather looked over, to see a dark- blonde girl with a beige-coloured outfit.
"Her name is Taylor, she's really rich, and-" Lindsay tried to dish everything to Heather, but Heather's face went red.
"I don't CARE who Taylor is, but what I DO care about is WHY IS SHE TAKING UP THE POPULARITY!" Heather yelled. She pointed to Taylor, who was getting the attention of pretty much EVERYBODY.
Lindsay suggested, "How about we go put her in her place." Heather smiled at her bestie.
"Great idea…" She said. Both of the girls, at the same time, walked over to Taylor.
"Uhm, who are you?" asked Taylor.
Heather retorted, "UHM…Who are YOU? I'm Heather, Type A Popular girl."
Taylor gasped in shock, and batted her eyelashes. "OH MY GAWD! YOU ARE SOOOO PRETTY! I'm so sorry I sounded rude."
"No probs. If you need any tips on life at Wawanawkwa High, just give me a holler," Heather said smiling.
Taylor smiled. "Great, great! See you then." and shooed the two away.
"Oh she is smart," muttered Heather, with Lindsay worried with what was to come.

Bridgette had been doing well. She had miraculously survived her fake relationship, and nobody knew…except Gwen.
"Okay fine! It's not real? How did you figure it out!" exclaimed Bridgette.
Gwen scoffed, smirking. "You just arrived a day before school started, you and Geoff live on the opposite side of town, you only have YOUTUBE as social media and Geoff has everything BUT youtube…and then you guys get together after three classes. And you're in one together. AND you sit on opposite sides."
Bridgette sighed. "It's not obvious..right?" she asked.
"Not at all. I'm the only person here who's actually sane, let alone smart," Gwen reassured Bridgette.
"Great, but don't tell anybody." Bridgette needed to keep this secret.
Gwen asked, "Did you think I would have told if you didn't tell me?"
Geoff was no closer to finding a girlfriend, so Bridgette was stuck with him for the meantime.
"Hey Bridge!" Geoff said, coming up to Bridgette, who was standing at her locker.
"Oh, hey Geoff! Can we talk?" asked the surfer girl.
Geoff said, "Yeah, sure! Is it about…."
"Yeah, it is. I know a private spot!" Bridgette exclaimed. She went over to an abandoned closet, brought Geoff in, and closed the door.
"Geoff, I don't know if I can do this much longer. I need to either have a real relationship or no relationship. I'm trying, but you need to find a real girlfriend, fast," Bridgette confessed.
Geoff sighed. "I shouldn't have asked for a new surfer girl to be my fake-girlfriend right away…but I'm trying to find someone new! The hard part is…getting them to be my girlfriend when they know about you."
"Try a new girl!" Bridgette suggested.
"Okay!" Bridgette opened the closet and the two looked around.
"Hey, wasn't a new girl coming today?" asked Geoff. All of a sudden, a deep-blonde haired girl tapped on Geoff's shoulder.
"Hey hot stuff," She said.
Geoff said, "Hey! Are you new?" Bridgette decided to leave the two go, and get back to getting her stuff for math.

Ella was waiting at the door for Sammy, but she nor Amy never arrived. Ella was worried for her friend, as Sammy always came - even if she was sick.
"Waiting for a friend?" someone asked Ella behind her.
"Oh, hey Dave," sighed Ella.
Dave whined, "Sky is always late! I told her today to be here EAR-LY, but now she's nooooot!"
"Don't worry. You gotta learn to loosen up! Being scared and annoying will only get you so far!" Ella said.
"I'm..annoying?" asked Dave.
"Yeah. At least to…well…everyone." Ella looked down uncomfortably, trying not to hurt Dave's feelings.
Dave said, "I get it. Sometimes people call me that, but I think they're the annoying ones. Staci told me I was annoying when she goes on and on and on about her being a distant and I mean VERY distant relative of Martin Van Buren. Who is he again?"
Ella laughed. "I've seen Staci before, and behind all of the chatter, she's actually kinda nice."
"Shocker," Dave said.
The bell rang, and Ella gasped. "Oh no! I gotta get to class! See you around!" She dashed off, leaving Dave beyond words.

Beth was yet again met with Lindsay when they both got to class. After MANY delays, her purple ends were beautifully styled.
"I LOVE your purple ends!" squeaked Lindsay. Heather walked up to the two, and rolled her eyes.
"I was JOKING! Those look ugly on you. REAL pretty girls have big lips like MINE!" She popped her lips at Beth and said, "Sorry not sorry loser."
Beth asked Lindsay, "How much money does your plastic surgeon cost?"
Lindsay smiled. "First session's free!"
Beth's eyes brightened. Her destiny wasn't hair…it was in the FACE! She immediately sat down at her seat, zoning out of the terrible lesson and into her new amazing look…

Zoey had still not gotten any new info on her secret admirer, but she had gotten many more cards.
"Your elegant shoes mesmerize me
Just like your beautiful voice."
"You shock me every day
With your space-defying beauty."
"I can't stop aweing over you
You're just too hot."
But Zoey wouldn't give up. She wasn't many things, but she WAS determined. She was sitting at her desk in class, bored out of her mind. She felt a tap on her shoulder.
"What?" Zoey asked, looking left. She didn't see anybody, so she looked back at her desk, and saw..another note.
I watch you every second
You make my day whenever you walk by
Your sexyness makes me faint
I'd kill myself before seeing you die
"Well that was creepy," mumbled Zoey, putting the note in her pocket.
Someone whispered in her ear, "You get them too?"
She looked over to see Cody, the geek known for buying girls shoes.
"It's like someone is..fawning over me twenty-four seven," Cody said.
"Really?" asked Zoey.
Cody nodded. "I'll help you with figuring out who sent our letters!"
"I need a favour first," Zoey said.
Cody asked, "Yes?"
Zoey replied, "become a member of the Flowerhearts, my political party."
Cody nodded, and shook Zoey's hand. In her mind, the only thing repeating was YES!

Chase was living the perfect life. He was famous, way more famous than before. He and Emma were starting to be known as "Prank Boy and Prep Girl," Which earned Emma popularity alongside Chase.
"Is this how it feels to be popular?" asked Emma, as the two left class.
Chase smiled. "It's amazing, but with fans come haters."
"Do-do I have any haters?" Emma wondered.
Chase blushed. "N-no! I meant for me! You're loved by all!"
Emma grinned. "Since there's like, ten minutes before next class, maybe we should do a tik-tok!"
"Sure!" said Chase. The two walked outside, and Emma grabbed her phone.
Chase suggested, "How about we do your weird double-joint dance?"
"But you don't have double joints!" Emma exclaimed.
Chase laughed. "Oh, it'l be fine. It's not like I can't make myself double-jointed!"
Emma set up her tripod, then set it on the pavement. She and chase started to do the double-joint dance, but then…SNAP.
"AGH! OW!"

Scott was happy. He hadn't got sent to the office today, and hadn't been stuck in a sticky situation. It was like, nothing could go wrong!
"Scott, please go to the principal's office," announced the loudspeaker.
What? Scott thought. Confused, he went over to the principal's office, where he saw Dawn sitting in one of the chairs.
"Scott, sit," Principal McClean said.
Scott asked, "What did I do?"
"I told Chris about Dakota bullying you a couple weeks ago," Dawn said.
Scott was confused. Had Dawn actually twisted the story around so Dakota would be punished?
"Scott, I wanna know if you want to possibly suspend Dakota," Principal McClean suggested.
Scott's eyes lit up. "I would. She really hurt my feelings when she threw the-"
Dawn interrupted Scott by whispering, "She hit you in the face with a basketball."
"Basketball, and my face REALLY hurt," Scott continued.
"Okay. , CALL DAKOTA DOWN! Both of you are excused." Dawn and Scott left the office, both confused.
"Why did you do that," asked Scott.
Dawn smiled. "You deserved it. Afterall, you never did get justice for when Keith stole your juice-box in kindergarten."
Scott was a bit weirded out by the last bit, but he decided to go along with it.

"Where's Amy?" Topher asked. Amy, and Sammy, had never came to school. And they were always here, even when one had coronavirus.
Suddenly, Topher's phone rang. He picked it up, and sighed in relief. "Amy, I'm so glad you're-"
He heard a scream from the phone, and gasped. "AMY? ARE YOU OKAY?"
"Topher? Come, come quick. Something terrible is happening! PLEASE! I'm dying!"
Topher started to worry. He ran to the office, and asked for an early dismissal. Luckily, the principal liked him, and let him leave. He ran to Amy's room, where she was crying.
"Amy, dont die on me!" Topher wailed.
Amy looked up at Topher, and screamed, "I LOST MY PHONE!" Topher sighed, and thought maybe he should break up with Amy.

Raj was hanging out with Wayne. He still hadn't gotten the guts to talk to Bowie, so staying with his friends was the way to go.
"Wayner, The first game is tomorrow! We gotta be super prepared!" Raj said.
Wayne gasped. "It's TOMORROW? OH SHIT SHIT SHIT!"
Raj asked, "what's the big dealy-o?"
"I told Ripper we'd do a video game marathon tomorrow!" Wayne worried. "And he'll be super mad at me!"
"Don't worry Wayner, it's gonna be fine," Raj assured.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO BUTTKNUCKLES DOING?" A voice from behind asked.
"Oh hey Julia.." Wayne said.
Raj asked, "Here to see..YOUR PHONE? We don't have it."
Julia screeched, "WHERE IS BOWIE? I'M GONNA KILL HIM!"
"I-I don't know," Raj said.
Wayne added, "Yeah, but check the basketball arena. He's there almost ALWAYS."
Julia crossed her arms, and stormed to the basketball arena.
"Overdramatic much?" Wayne whispered to Raj.
