Hello, my lovely readers. So, I finally have some time off and a billion fics but I am still going to try to get halfway through this story by the end of the summer. Sorry, I'm slow. See you at the bottom. On with the show…

Chapter 12: And the Magic Eight Ball Says

"O. M. G. This is the best script ever," Caroline enthused from her place lying sideways on one of the couches in the Mikaelson's living room. Her legs were sprawled over Klaus' lap. The Hybrid was rubbing her feet and looking sullenly at the rest of the group. Rebekah had fallen asleep in one of the chairs that was also occupied by Stefan. Damon was massaging Elena's shoulders as she drank a cup of coffee while reading through her copy of the script. Katherine and Elijah were playing strip poker. Kol was bound and gagged but he with sitting with Bonnie and Jeremy who were engaged in a game of asking Kol things that would make him growl. As for Klaus' "parents" who knew where they were.

"Hey, everyone. I brought breakfast," Sage called to the group as she and Finn appeared in the doorway.

Caroline flicked her gaze up from the script reluctantly before returning to the papers in her hands. Then she did a double take. "Holy shit," she exclaimed, flipping her legs up to get off the couch, she kicked Klaus in the face who bellowed in pain. "Sorry," Caroline called to him before speeding over to Sage and grabbing her hand. "When did this happen? Details! We have to have lots of details."

"What the bloody hell is she prattling about this time?" Rebekah moaned, rubbing at her eyes and looking irritably at the other blonde.

"Sage is wearing an engagement ring," Caroline shouted to Rebekah while yanking Sage closer to Rebekah.

"NO!" Rebekah wailed. "Finn, please, there are too many horrid people in this family as it is. It's bad enough we have Kol and Nik but now you would like to make it worse," Flopping back down on the chair, Rebekah folded her arms and glared up at her brother.

"What's all the yelling about?" Stefan asked, yawning and stretching from his position on the chair. He wasn't able to move much for long because Rebekah leaned backward and pinned him to the chair. Since she was already upset, he decided to not protest.

"Sage is engaged," Damon informed his brother with an eye roll. "I don't know why anyone would be willing to enter into the institution when you could always have yourself admitted to an institution."

"Are you saying that you would never marry?" Elena asked with wide eyes as she craned her neck to look at him.

Scrunching his face up, Damon shrugged. "Never is a long time when you have forever. There are a million things that I would like to do. But marriage is not high on my list of things to do."

"That is a no," Katherine called to Elena with a smirk. "I'm thinking that that means your only chances are with Stefan but he seems to have spent the night with the Original bitch."

"Don't call my sister a bitch," Elijah snapped at his girlfriend.

"If the name fits," Sage muttered.

"Sage," Finn protested.

"Can we please get back to the important thing here?!" Caroline shouted and everyone stopped bickering. "I want details of the engagement. Did he get on one knee? Where did he propose? Location is everything. When's the wedding? Am I invited? Can I plan it? I am like the best event planner in town."

"Aren't you like fifteen?" Sage inquired and Caroline's jaw dropped.

"No! I'm eighteen!" Caroline informed Sage, her mouth twisting into a frown.

Klaus got up and walked over to place an arm around Caroline's shoulders who instinctively reached out and slapped his hand away. Glowering at the happy couple, Klaus spoke, "I would not involve myself with a fifteen year old."

"I distinctly recall," Elijah began when Klaus turned to glare at his brother who stopped speaking.

"I want to hear that story," Katherine stated with a wide smile.

"I will dagger him if he breathes a word," Klaus snarled.

"Anyway, Klaus is a pervert," Damon announced. "And Sage was going to tell us all about her engagement so that I can stake myself."

Kol was trying to say something but no one would take the gag out. He fell over and began to kick Jeremy until Bonnie gave him a migraine. Then the only sound that filled the room was the sound of Kol's muffled screams.

"I am not a pervert," Klaus screamed, gaining everyone's attention.

"Well, Klaus, you are involved with a girl who is like one thousandth of you age," Stefan called.

"Who taught you math?" Klaus demanded. "And you dated the bloody doppleganger," he accused. "Therefore you are just as much of a pervert as I am."

"So, you admit to your status as a pervert," Damon quipped as Klaus looked like he was about to explode. "Speaking of, that makes Katherine one, too."

"I plead guilty, sir. I like younger men," Katherine announced which caused Elijah to get up and walk away from her. "What? Was it something I said?"

"It's the fact that you speak at all," Klaus announced drily as Katherine gave him a dirty look before going off to find Elijah.

"That was fun. What's next?" Kol called and everyone glared at the youngest Original who had chewed through his gag. Flipping his arms over his head, he chewed through the ropes quickly. Hopping to his feet his feet, he caught Bonnie by the waist and kissed her passionately before speeding off.

"What the hell?" Jeremy growled before he ran after Kol. Bonnie chased after her off again, on again boyfriend.

"How is the script coming along?" Finn asked anyone who would listen to him in the hopes that he could change the group's attention.

"Marvelously," Rebekah announced bitterly pinning her future sister-in-law with a dark glare.

At that moment the front doorbell rang and Klaus decided to answer it. As he was moving to leave the room, Caroline stuck her leg out and tripped him. "Caroline, what are you doing?"

Caroline shrugged. "I'm not doing anything."

Growling, Klaus got to his feet and headed toward the door. He found Rebekah appearing at his side. "Sage. Of all the women in this town, he had to choose Sage. Does he not know that he could have his choice of women but he had to choose her."

"Bekah, are you angry because you will no longer be the only woman in the family?" Klaus inquired.

"What family?" Rebekah snapped, crossing her arms. "How do I know that we are family? You could be the only one who has a right to bear the name Mikaelson."

"Bekah, you are speaking nonsense. You and I both know if anyone will turn out to be illegitimate, it will be Finn. He is nothing like the rest of us and then Sage will not be your family."

"Thank you, Nik," Rebekah replied as Klaus opened the door to the man with UPS written on his shirt.

"Hello, I have a delivery for a Mikael Mikaelson," the UPS man told Klaus who smirked.

"That would be me," Klaus said smoothly and Rebekah grinned as Klaus took the clipboard and signed it. Taking the package, Klaus kicked the door closed with his foot. "Wonder what this is," he murmured as he pulled open the envelope and pulled out a sheaf of papers.

"What is it, Nik?" Rebekah demanded as she peered over his shoulder, reading the information quickly she collapsed against the wall.

"Bekah," Klaus whispered, looking down at his sister who was drawing her knees to her chest. "It's going to be alright."

"How can you say that, Nik. This changes everything," Rebekah whispered, her voice raspy.

"No. It changes nothing," Klaus replied, sliding down beside Rebekah and wrapping an arm around her.

"Oh, Nik. You're not a kind person. Stop trying to fake it," Rebekah snapped as she leaned into her brother.

"Let's see what it says about the others. Shall we?" Klaus announced quietly.

"Of course they'll be his. Whereas I turned out to be the one who is not," Rebekah mumbled into Klaus' shoulder.

"You are his. The results say that they are inconclusive which means that the boys at father's lab are fools and I will track them down and kill them if you like," Klaus whispering rubbing his sister's back.

"Alright," Rebekah whispered. "Do you know that Mother wants me to play a bloody maid in this little movie?"

Klaus chuckled. "But the maid is a funny character. I think that people will like you in the role."

"Oh, I'm sure that the girls at school will find it funny," Rebekah snapped.

"Who cares about what a group of mindless teens thinks? You are a grown woman, Bekah, you are smart, strong and amusing when you choose to let your guard down. There is no one that I would like more to have for a sister than you," Klaus reassured his sister as they hugged each other briefly. "Are you ready to go back and deal with the others?"

Wiping her eyes, Rebekah pushed herself to her feet. "Yes, I suppose that I am. What will you do with the results?"

Klaus smirked. "Don't worry, sister. You will not have to deal with them again."

"And then Lucy will walk through the doors and Charlie will shove Ricky out of the way so that he can talk to her. This would be so much easier if Klaus were here. Stefan, you're doing a horrible job as Charlie," Caroline complained. Then she turned to see Klaus and Rebekah coming back in.

"You called," Klaus replied with a smile.

"Thank God. Klaus, Stefan was playing your part and doing a horrible job," Caroline informed the Original. "Now, can you come over here so that we can do this right?" Klaus obeyed and came to stand beside Damon.

"Okay. Now, let's start again. Lucy is supposed to be stepping into the room. Elena, that means you," Caroline ordered, waving for Elena to act as if she were entering a room.

Elena sighed. "Caroline, it's not my role. Why can't you play your own part?"

"Because, Elena, our director is MIA and someone had to take on the role," Caroline snapped, folding her arms over her chest and giving everyone a sour look.

"But did it have to be me?" Elena asked, her face wrinkling up as she looked at Klaus. "I don't want to act like I like him."

"The feeling is quite mutual, sweetheart," Klaus snapped, glaring back at Elena.

"It's only for today," Caroline reassured them both. "Elena, just pretend that Klaus is Stefan."

"But," Elena began to say, biting her lower lip and looking at Damon.

"Come on, E-len-a. It's one stupid day," Caroline yelled.

"Can't you have Rebekah do it," Elena asked, looking hopeful.

"No," Klaus and Rebekah replied.

"Why? Because it would look like art imitating life?" Damon inquired with a huge grin.

"You are a sick man, Damon," Stefan said shaking his head.

Kol came running through the room with what looked like Bonnie's shirt. "What the hell?" Caroline shouted, placing her hands on top of her head and shaking it.

"Hide me," Kol begged Klaus who simply stared at his brother with a blank look.

"What have you done?" Elijah asked as he strode in and stared at Kol who looked worried for once.

Grinning widely, Kol held up the shirt. "The little witch got in the way of a scuffle that Jer and were having and I may have accidently ripped her shirt off."

"Kol, when will you ever behave like an adult," Elijah moaned, placing his hand on his temple and beginning to rub.

"That would be the same time that this movie starts," Caroline shot back.

"That would be never," Damon replied, rolling his eyes toward the ceiling.

Caroline growled at him. "Elijah, take Klaus' place. Klaus take Damon's."

"And what am I supposed to do, Blondie?" Damon inquired with a sneer.

"Jump off a bridge," Caroline deadpanned and Klaus snickered.

"Get bent," Damon snarled at Klaus.

"Get off my set," Caroline screamed.

"What in hell is going on around here?" Mikael thundered making them all jump.

"And concludes the first failed attempt. Please, join us next time when there will be another epic failure, Bonnie kills Kol and one thing is for sure, this is movie is going to flop," Damon announced.

"Who are you talking to?" Stefan asked his brother who had pulled out his phone.

"YouTube," Damon announced with a smirk. "I have over a million hits because I'm gorgeous."

"Or because you're insane and people like crazy people," Kol told Damon. "Give me that. I need to post my one video. It shall be called Kol Mikaelson: Journal of a Young Man Who Never had a Chance Given How His Parents are Both Sociopaths. And, yes, so are three of my siblings. Any guesses as to which three?"

"You are the worst group to work with on a film that I have ever seen," Mikael grumbled. "Completely unprofessional."

"Oh, really, how many movies you been in?" Damon snapped.

"None," Mikael replied. "But I attended films quite often."

"Doesn't count," Damon replied.

"How would you like for me to drive a stake through your heart?" Mikael inquired.

"So, I think that Ricky should wear my leather jacket. It seems like Lucy might like bad boys…" Damon replied slowly and warily.

"That is more like it. Now, where were we?" Mikael asked the group who looked like they were being asked to set themselves on fire. For all they knew they would be before the day was out.

Okay, so I'm trying to get to the actual movie part of this story but I have to think of an actual plot for it. Not such a hard thing to do since I write so many stories, right? Ugh, using brain cells sucks.
