Hello, my lovely readers. It's back. I hope that you enjoy the chapter. On with the show…

Chapter 13: Kiss Me Under the Bridge

"Get the hell off of me!" Caroline shouted as Damon grabbed her roughly by the wrist and spun her around.

"No! You have to listen to me, Lucy. I love you," Damon replied and yanked her to his chest.

"She said to leave her alone, Ricky," Klaus informed Damon, his lips curling backward.

Damon glared as Klaus. "Back off, man. She's your sister. Not your girlfriend."

"Ha, that was a line that Stefan told Nik once back in the Twenties. Great job, Nik," Rebekah called only to be hushed by everyone else.

"I said let her go or I'll make you let her go," Klaus threatened Damon, withdrawing a gun and Bonnie gasped in spite of herself.

"Shoot him," Kol whispered loudly around a mouthful of popcorn.

"Which him?" Finn whispered to Kol, grabbing a handful of popcorn. "Oh, look, here comes the hero."

"Heroine," Sage told them, watching the group in awe. She had seen plenty of movies over the years but she had never been there when one was shooting. You couldn't say that too much when you're a vampire.

"I think that Lucy should make up her own mind about what she wants to do," Katherine announced as she came to stand between Klaus and Damon. "Oh, my. You have a gun. Oh, I'm so scared."

"Shoot her," Kol shouted.

"Shut the hell up," Mikael barked, ripping off his head phones and throwing them. He barely missed Stefan who had been holding the sound grip.

"Yes, do shut up, Kol," Elijah called as he came to stand just outside the line of the camera.

"Are you ready for your turn in front of the camera, Lijah?" Kol teased.

Elijah rolled his eyes and adjusted his tie. Rebekah had attempted to get him into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt but he kept saying that they itched and that he really thought that his character seemed like a man who would wear a suit.

"But, Elijah, he is an undercover detective who does not want to stand out when he walks into a bar filled his college students," Rebekah had argued.

"I do not see why wearing a suit would be seen as 'standing out' as you put it, sister," Elijah had replied with a shake of his head. "That man in the Mentalist never takes off his suits."

"Oh, and do you plan to eat during all of the scenes like he does?" Rebekah snapped.

Elijah looked thoughtful and then nodded. "If it will make my character more authenticate, then, yes, yes, I will."

Rolling her eyes, Rebekah had turned away and had to be calmed down by Stefan who had offered to wear whatever she decided to costume him in. That was why he looked like a cowboy in a Wild Wild West movie although he was not in the film today.

"Why are you dressed like that?" Mikael demanded, glaring at Stefan. Ignoring Stefan before he could answer, Mikael turned to the others. "Why the hell does he look like that? What is that?"

"It was my idea, Father," Rebekah called, folding her arms and pouting.

Mikael's brows wrinkled together. "It is not that holiday called Halloween. And do not call me that. I have yet to verify that you are my daughter."

"Father," Rebekah protested.

"Do not pay attention to him, Rebekah. Your father is frustrated due to his inability to properly direct a film. First, he could not deal with Niklaus, now the film. He is obviously in the depths of a personal crisis in which he needs to feel in control of something," Esther announced as she typed away on the cell phone that Finn had purchased for her.

"What are you doing, Mother?" Klaus asked, he looked worried as Esther continued to type.

"And Niklaus your need to control apparently springs from my and your father's having instilled you with a poor sense of self identity. Perhaps we should have dinner together and work on our communication issues," Esther said as Kol snuck up behind her and snatched the phone away. "Well, then there are Kol's issues that only keeping him for closer observation over a number of years might cure," Esther finished.

"She's been on Skype with a man who claims to be a therapist from Texas," Kol announced.

"Not Dr. P-" Caroline started to say when Damon wrapped a hand over her mouth.

"Do not say his name or he will appear," Damon whispered to Caroline.

Caroline nodded. "You're right. I heard this one someone said his name and they turned around and -" she was cut off my Mikael's howl of rage as he grabbed the camera and threw it across the room, barely missing Jeremy's head.

The younger Gilbert had decided to come with his sister and hang out on the set because most of the antics of the Originals were pretty entertaining. However, after Mikael nearly decapitated him, Jeremy thought that maybe he should leave. Just because he had a ring that could bring him back from the dead did not mean that having his head severed was an option he wanted. "Jer, wait," Kol yelled after him. "Don't leave me with these people."

"You mean don't leave us with you," Rebekah quipped as she took the cowboy hat off Stefan's head and placed it on her head. "How do I look," she asked the younger Salvatore.

"You look like a strumpet with a ridiculous hat on her head," Kol told her and Rebekah flung it at him and it hit Jeremy in the head, knocking him unconscious. "Now, look at what you've done," Kol complained. "Oh, well, while he's out he won't mind my taking a bite."

"Get away from my brother," Elena yelled running toward Jeremy as Damon came to stand with her. "Jeremy," she cried, shaking him lightly.

"You shouldn't do that," Esther called to Elena still tapping away. "You could give him serious brain trauma," she held up a page called. "Web MD." "See, the funny man in this little box told me so."

"Mother, it's not a box," Finn tried to explain while Sage shook her head.

"Leave her alone, Finn," Sage told her boyfriend. "She'll figure it out on her one day."

"I don't like you," Esther told Sage who frowned.

"That is because you are whatever the opposite of the Oedipus complex is," Kol said. Pulling out his own phone he began to type. "Here it is. You have some kind of syndrome in which you cannot allow your adult children to move on with their own lives. It's all the empty nest syndrome. There are support groups that you go to. Oh, look, there's a meeting tomorrow. It's in Alaska. Shall I book you a flight?"

"Shut up, Kol!" Mikael thundered. "Either we get one shoot in today or I start killing and I no longer care if you're my child or not."

"You broke the camera," Elijah protested.

"Yeah, you should really watch your temper," Katherine said with a wide grin.

"And you should mind your own business, vampire," Mikael snarled at Katherine.

"Who are you calling a vampire? You are a vampire," Katherine snapped with her hands of her hips.

"Who feeds on other vampires," Mikael retorted with a gleam in his eye and Katherine gulped.

"We will go and buy a new camera," Elijah said before taking Katherine by the hand and leading her out of the room.

"That's just great. Why can't I leave, too?" Kol asked with a pout.

"Get out," Mikael thundered. Kol grinned and then he was gone. But so were Bonnie and Jeremy.

"Jeremy," Elena gasped, looking around in fear. "Where is my brother?"

"Kol took him, you twit," Rebekah snapped and then Damon and Elena disappeared too. Looking around, Rebekah realized that meant she was alone with Stefan, Klaus, Caroline and her parents. Weighing her options, she took Stefan's hand and they were gone.

Finn and Sage looked at each other. "Would you like to leave?" Finn inquired.

"Yes," Sage said and they, too, sped out of the room.

"Wonderful," Klaus muttered under his breath, finding that he was alone with his girlfriend and his parents. If it was just him and Caroline then he would not be complaining but since. . . Looking at his Father he noticed that Mikael was glowering at him.

"Well, Niklaus, do you want to tell me what you can do to incur my ire?' Mikael snapped and Caroline jumped in.

"I was thinking that we could take a lunch break," Caroline said. "Maybe you and Klaus could go to the Grill and Esther and I could go shopping. I mean I never got along that well with my ex's mom but maybe I can have redo with your mom," she directed her last comment at Klaus who was about to protest when Mikael broke into a wide smile. "That is a wonderful idea. Klaus and I haven't had that much time to bond as father and son since I found out that he is my son."

Before Klaus could protest, Mikael wrapped an arm around his shoulders and was half dragging him out the front door. "At least you're not dressed like a fool like that Salvatore boy. I swear he is going to allow Bekah to stomp on him. Never let a woman treat you in that manner, Niklaus," Mikael ordered Klaus who rolled his eyes. "And do not act like one of these human teens with me, son. You are far too old to act that way."

"What would you have me do? Act my age? I should be dead, Father," Klaus snapped, feeling irritable as they made their way toward the parking lot and he was about to take out his keys when Mikael strode toward his own car and gave Klaus a dark look. Trudging over to the car, he got in and slouched down in his seat with his arms folded over his chest. He was not going to allow a man who had hardly ever been a Father to him to act like one now.

"What do normal fathers and sons do in this time period?" Mikael said absently.

"Not a clue. I never had a normal father," Klaus muttered and Mikael gave him another look. Klaus didn't care.

"Shall we go hunting?" Mikael asked and Klaus narrowed his eyes.

"I doubt you would like my choice of prey," Klaus snapped. "Can't we just go home and watch TV."

"No," Mikael replied. "I want to do something active. What about baseball?"

"That's Kol's thing," Klaus said.

"Well, then American football?" Mikael tried.

"Are you the father of the Salvatores?" Klaus moaned.

Gritting his teeth, Mikael tried again. "As the people of this country call it, soccer," he said and Klaus turned to him with his eyes gleaming and Mikael knew that he had found a good idea.

"I have a sport that involves a soccer ball," Klaus said. Mikael smiled and drove toward a sports shop. After purchasing twenty soccer balls, they drove to the Gilbert house.

Klaus got out of the car and rang the doorbell. He was surprised to find that Damon had returned with Elena and by the sounds of it, Jeremy, Bonnie and Kol. Yes, this would be fun indeed. When Damon answered the door, Klaus smiled at him, "May I come in?"

"No," Damon replied and closed the door in his face. Klaus grinned as he walked back to his Father's car.

"They're not being very friendly. Let's see if we can get them to let us in?" Klaus murmured with a smirk as Mikael pulled a bag with the balls out. "This is going to be fun." Taking one of the soccer balls, he threw it through the door and it went sailing by Damon's head.

"Missed me," Damon taunted.

"Let me have a go," Mikael said and threw one that nearly took Elena's head off. "Ha. I almost got the doppleganger. This is fun, Niklaus."

"Here's your ball back!" Damon yelled and kicked it back to them. Klaus caught it in mid-air and soon the balls were flying back and forth while Elena started a list of property damage to bill the Mikaelson family with.
