Here one minute, gone the next:

As Harry Potter lay in bed in the hospital wing, he went over his conversation with the headmaster, as well as his conversation with Ron and Hermione. He didn't let on to his friends how he really felt about what Dumbledore had done by allowing the three friends to figure out the truth about the philosophers stone and the enchantments protecting it.

'How could an adult and headmaster believe that allowing three eleven year old students go into a dangerous situation and face a murderer, like Voldemort and Quirrell, was a good or smart thing to do?' Harry asked himself. Eleven, he allowed three eleven year old to face danger and as he told Harry not long ago, Harry almost died. The first time was when the troll got in yet Hogwarts is supposed to be the safest place in wizarding England. The second time was on his broom was when he almost died, when Quirrell tried to make him fall. The third time was in the forbidden forest. The fourth time facing Voldemort.

Harry thought about the year he had at Hogwarts. But he also thought about the witches and wizards he had met. Not just the other students, but the staff of Hogwarts. He thought about the way the magical world is. How they used things like old fashioned quills, instead of pens. He got that using cauldron's for potions was just something witches and wizards used. You could really just use a good quality pot, as long as it was large enough. You also could use a stove and not a burner under the cauldron.

But Harry couldn't understand why they still used lamps for lighting and large fireplaces for heating. Electricity had been around for so long and it allowed for many other ways to heat a place or light a place. Fireplaces were great but it was not practically in such a large castle that had many open areas that just wouldn't allow most parts to warm up enough. Harry couldn't understand why they didn't work on ways to make things televisions, computers and all the other electrical type products work around magic. He had seen enough in just one year to know that it wouldn't be impossible. Someone could work it so people raised in the muggle world didn't have to give up what they grew up with.

It wasn't just these things that got Harry curious and annoyed. It was wearing robes. Okay, so witches and wizards like to look different to muggles, but robes were annoying and got in the way. Plus, they weren't that comfortable. Add to that, they were expensive compared to normal clothes. He may not have had any of his own clothes before, but he had seen how much Petunia spent on Dudley. When he got some money out of Gringotts, he found out how much a galleon was worth if it was converted to muggle money. What he paid for his two robes at Madam Malkins, could have gotten him two jumpers, two jackets, two shirts and two pairs of jeans, along with things like socks and underwear from the muggle world. It was also the fact that since witches and wizards did look different, it was easy to see how they stick out in the muggle world, which could be dangerous.

That was another thing that Harry didn't get. The way people like Malfoy thought of muggles. It was like muggles were beneath them just because they couldn't do magic. If Draco Malfoy could see just what the muggles could do, he would be shocked. But it wasn't just Malfoy, even his friend, Ron didn't think much of muggles. He didn't think muggles were as good as witches and wizards. Ron even mentioned his mother's cousin or something, how he wasn't a wizard so they don't see him. It's like if someone didn't have magic, then they weren't worth knowing.

Now Harry agreed with that when it came to people like the Dursley's and a few others who the Dursley's had brainwashed into believing Harry was a troublemaker. But Harry had seen and heard enough muggles to know there are some great people out there. Smart, some absolutely brilliant. Then you think of what muggles could do with things like heart transplants and helping couples get pregnant when normally it wouldn't be possible. The healers might be able to do things quickly and in some cases, they can do stuff that muggles can't. But if you compare healers to doctors, the muggle world can do more.

Even with all that, the worst for Harry was the fact that even though he was thought of as some hero, he was left in the muggle world for ten years and left ignorant about magic. Hearing what Hermione found out about his parent's, Harry knew they would not have liked the idea that their son had no idea that magic was real until he got his Hogwarts letter. He also knew without doubt that his parent's wouldn't like the way the Dursley's had treated him, all because he was a wizard. He might not have known, but Petunia and Vernon did and that's why they called in a freak. They were really the worst sort of muggles and to Harry, they were like Snape and Malfoy who shown they were the worst sort of wizards.

So even though Harry felt he had been dumped and deserted by the people in the magical world. He was furious with Hogwarts itself, not the castle, but the people in it, especially the teachers.

Snape was the worst teacher he had ever seen. Not only does he not actually teach, but his cruel and mean. Harry really didn't want to put up with him for another six years. In the muggle world if a teacher wasn't sacked you could complain to the department of education. Or just change schools. Hogwarts was the only magical school in England. But it wasn't just Snape. Binns was useless and since he was new to the magical world, Harry really wanted to learn more history. He would have to use some of his free time to do that with Binns teaching. But there was more. His so-called head of house wasn't someone that you could feel comfortable with going to with a problem. When he did go to her, she blew you off. Then there was the unfair points she took. Twenty from Malfoy, yet she took fifty from Harry, for the exact same thing. Then when people turned on Harry, along with Hermione and Neville for losing so many points, she didn't do anything about it, as head of house or the deputy head. He had seen bullies, he knew how bullies acted, having been bullied all his life by Dudley and his gang, not to mention Dudley's parent's. Bullying was allowed at Hogwarts. The headmaster, deputy head and teachers allowed it. Then when you tried to explain things, or complain, they didn't listen.

Harry thought coming to Hogwarts would be a lot better than having to stay at the Dursley's. But he had to return to them. He knew they wouldn't be happy that he had been learning magic all year. He also knew they would still be angry for what Hagrid did by giving Dudley that pigs tail. Vernon Dursley was the biggest bully around. Anyone smaller or weaker than him got bullied. Harry had enough injuries over the years from Vernon that he knew there would be more during the summer.

Harry had worked on some plans. He wasn't going to return to the Dursley's. No one at Hogwarts would find out. Ron wouldn't know how to find him in the muggle world. Hermione would, but she mentioned going away with her parent's for most of the holidays and that she would write. Harry figured if he sent Hedwig to her with a letter, then she could send one back with his owl. Hedwig would find him no matter where he was, in the magical world or the muggle world. Harry would be in the muggle world, he knew that, but he hoped if his plans worked out, he would be able to see other parts of the magical world. If Ron tried to use Errol to send him a letter that may cause a problem, especially if what he planned worked out. To leave England. Errol wasn't an overseas post owl, plus Errol was old and probably wouldn't survive the flight. If Harry could get away from England, as he hoped and if Ron's owl couldn't find him, people here might find out he was gone, or missing. It just meant Harry had to make sure he couldn't be found.

As Harry lay in his bed, he had asked Madam Pomfrey for quill, ink and a piece of parchment since all his stuff were in Gryffindor tower. He wrote his letter and was just hoping he could get to the owlery so Hedwig could take it to the Dursley's.

Hedwig surprised Harry when she turned up in the hospital. Harry knew the matron didn't like owls in her hospital, so he had to be quick so Pomfrey wouldn't see Hedwig.

He made sure to tell Hedwig to carry the letter in her beak, to drop it on the Dursley's table, if she could get into the house. If not, leave it on the doorstep. Harry just hoped there was no wind to blow the letter away.

When he was finally released from the hospital, he met up with Ron and Hermione. One of his plans would mean he had to wait until that night when everyone went to bed. But he did need to go to the library. Now he knew how to use his magic and practice the spell, he didn't think he would have any trouble when he wrote his letter. So tonight he would really concentrate on the letter, then sneak away using his cloak to go to the library. He could sleep on the train. He needed to work this spell so the muggles wouldn't question him as to why a young boy was getting on a plane alone. Getting a ticket was no problem as that would be in the letter. Whether he was able to get a flight on the same day or not, he just had to make them (magically) believe everything was above board. Hermione might have nagged him about homework and stuff, but Harry did study and listen. But what he didn't tell her was that he read and studied other magic that could be useful and not just something first years learn. After getting a spell, Harry found magic easy, so he didn't think he would have too much trouble spelling his letter so the muggle would accept it and not ask questions.

Harry enjoyed the feast. When no one was looking, he would slip food into his pockets, all wrapped in napkins. He also put things like apples, oranges and some banana's in his pockets. He wanted a day or two where he could just hide out, without having to worry about buying food. He knew he needed to go straight to Gringotts. He had to get some of the magical money out of his vault, a lot of money actually, then have half of it changed to muggle money. He needed to pay for a plane ticket and to afford to eat. He knew what was in his vault would last him twenty or thirty years, maybe more. He just couldn't carry all of it and it would be risky to have all that changed to muggle money and carry that on him. He hoped when he asked the goblins they might know of a way he can get to his money from another country. He was sure they had ways. He couldn't see people carrying around large bags of heavy gold galleons when they went on holidays.

He had heard other kids talking about holidays overseas and they were kids from magical families. They might have goblins that run Gringotts, but there must be a way for customers to access their money when in another country. Harry also needed to buy one of the magical tents, just in case. He had saw one when buying his trunk and bag. He didn't take long since Hagrid said they were in a hurry. But Harry read enough to know that the magical tents could be as small as a one bedroom flat up to the size of a mansion. Only on the inside, the outside looked like a normal typical muggle tent. Harry figured using a tent would be cheaper, he would just need to sneak into places, like forests where he could pitch his tent. Being only eleven, nearly twelve, too many people would ask questions if they saw him living along in a tent and he was too young to stay in a hotel. That would definitely have people asking questions. When he got to be fourteen or fifteen, then they would just see a teenage boy doing normal stuff, like camping. He could even buy some fishing equipment so it would look like a teenage boy camping and doing some fishing. He would use his invisibility cloak to sneak around which should keep anyone from seeing a young boy alone.

Harry would love to continue his magical education, but he wasn't sure how he could go about it without the ministry finding out. He wondered if he was in another country if it would be the English ministry that would find him if he used magic, or if it was the ministry from the country he was in that would find him. He would need to read up on that. That was one thing Harry would need to do and find the magical shops. He couldn't keep carrying around a lot of books, a few, but not too many. He wondered since they had these magical tents if he could store things like books in there then they would still be in good condition when he packed up the tent. The tent was supposed to have things like beds, a bathroom, kitchen, even a fireplace. If all that survived, then a bookshelf full of books should be okay. Harry wouldn't know until he read more about the tent and how they worked.

Harry did sleep for most of the train trip back to London. Hermione told him when he woke up that he still must be recovering from what happened with Quirrell. Harry let her believe that so she wouldn't ask questions.

Harry had it planned. As soon as he left the train with his almost empty trunk, he told his friends he had to go to the bathroom. He did quickly speak with Ron's mother, he thanked her for the fudge and jumper. Then said he needed the bathroom and would write. He didn't give them time to respond, just headed straight for the bathrooms on the magical side of the platform. He dragged his trunk with him.

Harry used his invisibility cloak, had his bag on his back and his broom in his hand. He stepped out of the bathroom to see that it was almost deserted. The Weasley's and Hermione was gone. Harry felt relieved. He carefully made his way through the barrier and again he was relieved, no sign of the Dursley's. He found an alleyway and carefully climbed onto the broom making sure his cloak was covering him. He lifted off slowly and got some height, then headed towards charring cross road and where he knew the Leaky Cauldron was. All he had to do was fly over it instead of going into the pub to get to Diagon alley. He didn't want anyone to see him. He wasn't sure if he could stop anyone from noticing him, but he planned to keep his head down and hope.

It didn't take him long at all. He landed in a small dark corner, pulled the cloak off then found somewhere to hide his broom. Behind a lot of bins. He made sure that it was covered and just hoped no one found it and took it. If that happened he would just have to buy another. His broom was going to be needed. He really didn't want to spend money on another broom, but he would if his nimbus was gone.

He got to Gringotts and spoke with the goblin about his money and how to access it when overseas on holidays. It was like Harry thought. They had their own version of a credit card that withdrew money from your account. It wasn't a card but a pouch, a magical pouch. You just spoke to it then tap it with your wand. You would tell the pouch how much you wanted and if you wanted the money in galleons or muggle money, use your wand to activate the magic in the pouch. You would then insert your key into the small slot on the side. The moment the key was inserted, it magically linked to the person's vault. The amount of money you asked for would appear in the bag. This was the type of magic Harry wanted to learn. Whether he could continue his education or not, he would still read about spells, until he was older where he could use magic outside of school.

Harry found out that for a fee the goblins could also provide him with a passport and other documents he might need. Harry decided he would take all of them documents, except the driving license, since he was so young. But he asked if the goblins could change the name to Evan James. Harry really wanted to keep part of his parents, so using his mother's maiden name as his first name and his father's first name as his last name worked well.

Harry asked the goblins if they had information on where the magical banks were in other countries. The goblin gave him a pamphlet, which contained the information he needed. Then he paid for the pouch that was spelled to be feather light. He could add more charms to it, like making sure no one could steal it from him. Harry had the goblin do that straight away. He also had the charm added to make it invisible to everyone but him. Now Harry knew he could take a lot more money out of his vault and not have to worry about weight or thieves.

Harry went straight to get the tent and found, much to his surprise, a bag that was charmed. The one he bought was a good sturdy backpack that had a feather light charm along with an undetectable expansion charm on it. After a few questions, Harry found that the bag would hold up to two hundred books. And if he put books in the tent bookshelf, they would not get damaged when the tent was packed up. Harry was told that when families went on holiday using a tent, they didn't want to take too much, so some things, like books and kitchen items could be left in the tent. He could add charms to the tent as well, most he didn't need, but one would be perfect. It would make the tent blend in to the surrounding, like camouflage, so he bought the bag and a tent that would give him a two bedroom cottage and he had the charm done. It would have a bathroom with all the necessities. It had a kitchen with a small dining room attached. It had a living room with a fireplace. The tent even had a small conservatory. Harry knew that would be a nice place to sit on those sunny, but cold days. Harry wanted to learn about the type of magic that the tent and bags had on them, which the shop had a book on the magic done to the items they sold. One less book he would need to buy later on.

He was relieved to find his broom still where he left it. After retrieving his broom, which he put in the bag, along with the tent, Harry then headed back to platform nine and three quarters. He put all the things he wanted to keep in his new bag, but he threw his old clothes in the bin, the trunk was now empty. He knew someone would find it but there was nothing on or in the trunk that would tell someone who owned it. He had no idea if some spell could be used to identify it. He wasn't that worried whether someone knew it was his or not. He just wanted enough time to get away. If they were able to find out who owned it, Harry hoped that wouldn't be until he had flown away from Great Britain.

When Harry was finished there, he walked towards a large department store. He figured he would get some clothes, another pair of shoes and a few odds and ends. He found the grocery store where he bought a few things to make some easy meals along with things like tea, coffee, sugar and a few other necessities. He found a takeaway food shop, got a burger, chips, drinks. When he was done, he went back to the alleyway, got his broom, put the cloak on then flew away.

It took Harry a while, but he found the perfect spot to put up his tent. With how thick the trees were he knew no one would spot the tent, especially with the charm to make it blend into the background.

After eating his burger and chips, he made himself a cup of coffee. The Dursley never allowed him coffee and Hogwarts didn't allow the students to drink coffee. Harry only had it once and he preferred it to tea. He did like tea, he just liked coffee more.

'Well, I'm here, away from the Dursley's. Next is getting to Heathrow then on the plane to either America or Australia,' Harry thought about both countries. He had seen or read bits about both, but still didn't know a lot about them. He knew they were popular tourist destinations for English people and he knew they spoke English. He would study the board at the airport to see which would allow him to fly out sooner, that's how he would chose. He wanted to be away quickly and if he had time he would have read up more about those two countries. But he didn't want to take the chance that someone would find out he was gone. He began to write down ideas of how to stay inconspicuous when he first arrives in the other country.

Harry had thought of other countries that he would like to see, like Greece or Italy. He figured it would be better staying in an English speaking country. When he was older, he could travel to those countries he wanted to see. He might even be able to learn other languages so he would be able to speak with the people in their own language.

Harry decided to get the letter to Hermione and Ron done. With Hermione he would tell her to send her letter back with Hedwig. He wouldn't do the same with Ron mainly because he wouldn't have time. Learning about owls, especially post owls, he knew they preferred to fly than to be taken by an adult by apparition or portkey. He didn't want to put Hedwig on the plane. Many people would remember having a snowy white owl placed in the cargo that held animals. Owls weren't that normal for people's pets. He planned to speak to Hedwig, since he knew she understood him and tell her she would need to fly. He would explain that it would take her a long time so she could take her time, to eat, to sleep and rest. He would have to wait until he got to the airport before he explained to Hedwig. He would need to book a flight, yet he wouldn't know yet, when he would be able to leave. Unless he just picked a country now and hoped a plane was leaving tomorrow or at least the following day.

Harry decided to do that. He wanted to disappear, but to blend in when he got a little older. He decided to pick Australia over America mainly because it was furthest away. There was a lot of national forests and plenty of places where he could hide his tent.

Just as Harry finished in the shower and was getting ready for bed, Hedwig found him. He feed her, gave her some water and a lot of attention before he explained where he would be going. He explained he wanted a letter delivered to Hermione but not until the following day and he asked her if she would be right to fly all the way to Australia, even if she took her time, to eat and sleep. Hedwig hooted happily and Harry knew that meant yes.

Harry got to the airport early the following morning. He had his letter out and his passport that he got from the goblins and headed for the counter. He was told if he upgraded to business class then he could fly out that afternoon as it was the only available seat left on any flight that day. Harry took it and paid for the seat in business class.

He flew back to his tent, told Hedwig to leave with the letter to Hermione, then to take her time and find him when he got to Australia. He thought for a minute while he gave his owl a pat.

'I don't know if you understand me Hedwig, but you seem to. Well, I'll probably head to either New South Wales or Queensland. They seem to be the warmer states and I hate the cold and they have nice beaches. But I'm sure you'll find me. Take your time, sleep and eat, rest and have fun on the way. I don't want you to overexert yourself,' Harry rubbed his nose against her chest then allowed her to fly away.

He packed up his things, all in his new bag, he did put a few things in his other bag, which would go in the cargo hold of the plane. When he was done he placed his wand against the section of the tent that would allow the magic built into the tent to automatically fold itself. He stuck it in his bag then covered himself with his cloak again then mounted is broom.

When Harry arrived, he placed his broom into his bag, then made sure his cloak covered him. He wanted to remain hidden until it was almost time for flight. When it was close to the time his plane was due to leave, he quickly bought a few snacks and a few magazines with his new credit card then went to check in.

Harry sat near the window staring out as the plane took off. He wondered what will happen when they find out he had left. He planned to send Hermione a letter in a couple of weeks. He knew she would understand. She told him in confidence that she had been a bit disappointed with Hogwarts. The staff was one, but also how she wouldn't be able to continue her normal education. Harry felt the same. Yes, he needed to learn how to use his magic, but that didn't mean he had to give up his normal education. He would probably do his normal education and restart his magical education once he turned seventeen. He would have to check the laws in Australia to make sure witches and wizards were adults at seventeen like in England.

Harry never realised he fell asleep until he was being woken by one of the stewardess. He thanked her then put his things in his bag, but he did quickly drank the drink that had been left for him. The food was shoved in his bag. He paid extra for this seat, he wasn't going to waste it. When he looked at his watch, he realised it was early evening, of the same day. Yet he left England at 7pm. He would have to adjust to the time difference.

At the airport, he was able to find a lot of pamphlets that showed the places people might visit when they were here on holiday. For now, he planned to sneak away on his broom and find somewhere like a forest to pitch his tent.

Over the next few weeks Ron had tried to send Harry a letter. After the third time he decided it must be Errol's fault, since the bird was really old. He figured sooner or later Harry would write to him, if he didn't, he would see him on the Hogwarts express. He had hoped Harry might be able to stay at the Burrow for the last week or two of the holidays. Unless he heard from Harry, he would just have to put up with his brothers and sister. Ginny was driving him crazy. She wouldn't stop asking him questions about Harry. Finally, Ron told her she would met him when they went to Hogwarts. Ginny was bound to end up in Gryffindor, so she would have plenty of time to talk to Harry.

Two weeks before the students were due to arrive at Hogwarts, Minerva received a letter from her brightest student, Hermione Granger. She wasn't really surprised to hear that Hermione would not be returning, but what did surprise her was that her parent's had been thinking of moving overseas. Hermione wrote that by the time she got the letter they would have already left England. Minerva marked off Hermione Granger's name, just like she had done for a few other students, all muggleborn, or muggle raised. It seemed to be happening more and more over the last few years. Many children who were brought up in the muggle world felt that they had to give up too much to study magic.

Minerva knew that was only part of the problem. One was how some of the pure-bloods treated muggleborns. One of the biggest problems she felt was wrong with Hogwarts was Severus and how he treated all the students who were not in Slytherin. She had stopped complaining to Albus about Severus, since all Albus would say was Severus was needed. Maybe one day Albus will realise that with the numbers dropping, he may have to make some changes at Hogwarts, one was to get rid of Severus Snape.

Ginny stepped nervously into the compartment that Ron was sitting in with some of the other boys in his year. But she didn't see Harry.

'Um, Ron.'

'He's not here, he's not even on the train, neither is Hermione. But I know Harry's family tried to stop him coming to Hogwarts, maybe they succeeded this time. I'm going to tell McGonagall as soon as we get to Hogwarts.'

'So, Harry's family doesn't like him?' Dean asked.

'They're muggles,' Ron shrugged, 'But it seems the type that don't like our kind. Hermione said her parent's were fine when they found out she was a witch.'

'My mum was,' Dean said.

'My dad expected I would be since mum is a witch,' Seamus said.

'I wonder where Hermione is?' Neville asked.

'She wouldn't be late, Hermione would never be late for anything,' Ron said.

'Maybe they're still on holidays,' Dean said.

'I'm sure we'll find out, sooner or later,' Seamus said.

'You might as well go back to your compartment Ginny. Harry is not here.'

The boys all waited until Ginny left before they resumed their discussion from before Ginny came in.

When they arrived at Hogwarts, Ron stood near doors to wait for McGonagall. He knew she would be here soon ready for the first years to arrive after their boat trip across the lake.

'Why aren't you in the great hall Mr. Weasley?'

'Um I wanted to let you know that Harry wasn't on the train. He told me that his relatives tried to stop him coming last year. They might have done it again this time.'

'Are you sure he wasn't in another compartment?'

'Yeah, we searched, me, Neville, Dean and Seamus. He wasn't on the train. The thing is I tried to send him some letters during the holiday, but Errol always flew back with my letter. I figured it might be because Errol was old. Now I'm not so sure.'

'I will take care of it. Go into the great hall.'

'Um, Hermione wasn't on the train either, do you know where she is?'

'Her parent's decided to move overseas, so Miss Granger will not be returning to Hogwarts.'

'Thanks professor,' Ron said then hurried into the great hall. He filled in the boys from his dorm and it only took a few seconds for the news that Hermione had left to spread to the rest of the Gryffindor's. Then everyone began to ask where Harry Potter was and not just Gryffindor's, but all the other students.

Albus kept staring at Gryffindor table, curious as to where Harry Potter was. His friends don't seem to have left a seat for him either, which also made him curious. He did notice that the youngest Weasley boy spoke with Minerva, hopefully they spoke about Harry.

When the sorting finished Minerva sat next to Albus, 'Ronald Weasley told me Harry Potter was not on the train. He explained how the muggles tried to stop Harry coming last year.'

'I will have Hagrid go after the feast. I'm sure it was a simply misunderstanding.'

'I hope so Albus. Mr. Weasley also said he tried to send Harry a letter during the holidays yet their owl refused to deliver it. I always said those were the worst kind of muggles.'

Albus sighed. He had heard that argument from Minerva many times even though he did explain that Harry was safer with his relatives.

It was a couple of hours later that Hagrid arrived back with the bad news. Harry never returned to Privet drive after he left Hogwarts. The Dursley had not seen him since they dropped him off last September to catch the train to Hogwarts. He would need to speak with some of his contacts and try to find out just where Harry Potter was. Voldemort was gaining strength, he would soon return. Harry needed to be prepared to fulfil the prophecy.

Harry found he liked living alone in his tent. He decided it was not worth being discovered so he began to teach himself, so he could pass any muggle educational test. He used his invisibility cloak and snuck into muggle schools. He found what each year was learning and he also took some of the work sheets from the teachers desk. He took anything that might help him learn. He snuck into the offices as well, to get anything that might help him learn everything he needed. He now had all the information he would need to learn and pass his muggle education tests.

When Harry visited the Australian minister of magic to find out if the adult age was seventeen, he got a surprise. First he was told that yes, witches and wizards became adults when they turned seventeen. Then they told him that they did not have underage restrictions as long as he did not use magic in front of muggles. They did ask why Harry, or Evan, why he was alone. Harry told them his made up story. He was a muggleborn and was told in England that muggles could not enter the ministry, so he thought Australia was the same. Harry found that wasn't the case. Any muggle that knew of magic, due to a family member being a witch or wizard could visit places like the ministry, even the school. Harry got all the information about the school, or schools, as they had two. They were a lot smaller than Hogwarts, but since Australia was so big, they had one in New South Wales, in Wollongong and one in South Australia, in Adelaide.

While Harry was at the ministry, he was also able to get some back issues and new issues of international magical news paper. He just wanted to check to see if anything was written about him.

Harry left the ministry and went straight to get a new wand. He didn't want to risk using the wand he bought in England in case people in England could track his magic. Now he would have a wand bought in Australia so England should not be able to track his magic. He wasn't sure if they could, but he wasn't taking the chance.

When Harry got back to the tent that's when Harry created more fake documents. These would be used if he decided to go to the Australia magic school. He could use magic which meant he could fake some papers.

During that first year living in Australia, Harry allowed his hair to grow. Since he was able to create fake documents, he decided to get contact lenses, but he also got new glasses. He created a letter from his "mother" to explain how she worked and could not bring her son to have his eyes checked. Harry had confunded the letter so the muggles would believe what he wrote and allow him to get his contact lenses and glasses without a parent with him. He wanted to make it harder for anyone to recognise. He would wear his contacts when he was out and use make up to cover his scar or keep a cap on his head. He only used his glasses when he was going to remain in his tent or near his tent. When he was older, an adult, he would see about having plastic surgery to remove his lightning shaped scar.

Harry continued to get and read the international newspapers; he found a few articles from September about Harry Potter being missing. But Harry did feel terrible when he found out that Ron's little sister had been taken by some monster into the mythical chamber of secrets. She was never seen again and no one ever found out what the monster was or where the chamber was. He felt sorry for the Weasley family but it did not make him change his mind. He did not want to remain in England where he would be forced to go to Hogwarts. He had been in a lot of danger during his first year and now he read that Ginny Weasley disappeared and was probably dead. There was just too much danger at Hogwarts.

He made the decision that he would not attend the magical school in Australia. He decided to just buy all the books and teach himself, like he was doing with his muggle education. He did find out that students from muggle backgrounds could take their muggle educational lessons while learning magic, they had to add two extra years so they would fit their magical and muggle lessons in. They would study for nine years instead of seven. He still decided to teach himself. So even though he didn't wear glasses and had longer hair, he did not want anyone to get suspicious of who he was. When he was sixteen then he could come out of hiding then he might hire a tutor. He may even wait until he was legally an adult. For now, he would remain using his tent, just move it around every few months.

He did go out, he wanted to know more about Australia. He found he could buy portkeys from the bank, again run by goblins. So once a week Harry would buy a portkey and visit a different place in Australia, then study the history of the place and it's people. He even went to where the schools were just to see what they looked like. He wanted to know as much as he could about his new country that was now his home.

No one in England was able to find Harry and at first, people just believed he never returned to Hogwarts. There were rumours that he was missing, but nothing was confirmed for a couple of weeks after the students returned to Hogwarts. The aurors were assigned, but they hadn't found anything about the-boy-who-lived. The staff at Hogwarts was questioned about Harry Potter's first year at Hogwarts, but nothing came up for them to have any idea why Harry Potter was missing. They didn't even know if he left or if he was taken. They all hoped it was his choice, they just didn't know why he would leave.

The aurors used magic to question the muggle relatives of Harry Potter and what they learned was disturbing. The aurors understood why the boy ran away from the muggles, but they did not understand why he ran from the magical world, if he ran. They did question a few students who shared classes with Harry and they did find out that Harry was harassed by Severus Snape. The aurors believed it was a combination of the way he was treated by his muggle relatives and Severus Snape that made his decision to leave. The minister got involved after that and due to all the information the aurors got from students and former students, Severus Snape ended up sacked and Albus Dumbledore was now going to be monitored when it comes to the staff he hired.

The following two years was the same. No one could find Harry Potter. Yet Harry was living a perfectly normal life, just one where he was alone and living in a tent.

At the beginning of his fourth year Harry was again shopping for books. He always shopped for a lot of books when he knew the students of the Australian magical school shopped for theirs. Harry thought he would look less suspicious. He was just another teenager shopping for school supplies. He would buy about a half dozen books at a few other times through the year, but he always made sure to buy a lot of books when the students were buying theirs.

Harry had to turn his second bedroom in the tent into a library, he had bought so many. But teaching himself he was at least a year ahead, so now he was buying fifth year books, he even got a few sixth year books.

Harry was in the back of the shop looking through books on mind magic when he felt someone brush against him.

'Sorry.'

Harry looked up to acknowledge the girl who had spoken and realised he knew who the girl was.

'Harry?'

'Um, hi Hermione. What are you doing in Australia?'

'My parent's wanted to move here. When I told them what my first year at Hogwarts were like, they decided it was time. I go to school here now. Why are you here?'

Harry sighed. Hermione liked to follow rules and always thought authority figures should know what was going on. But he was sure she would understand why he left, if he could talk to her, and preferably alone. They had been together when she had almost died due to the troll, but Harry and Ron could have also died. She also knew what happened in the forest and when they went after the philosophers stone. To Harry it seems like her parent's wanted her away from the danger that seem to happen at Hogwarts. So, Harry felt Hermione would understand, especially if she read about what happened to Ginny Weasley.

'Are you here alone or with your parent's?'

'Mum is in another part of the shop and you didn't answer my question.'

'Um, I want to, but not where people could hear us. And please use the name Evan. I don't want anyone to know who I am.'

'If you want, you can come home with us. We can have lunch and catch up.'

'Catch up as in tell you everything?' Harry raised his eyebrows.

'Not everything. But I would like to know what's been happening in your life. I do know everyone in England has been looking for you over the last few years. No one is sure if you were taken or if you left. I was so worried when I first read that, but I realised there wasn't anything I could do. I just hoped you were okay. I did read that the aurors investigated and found out that the muggles you lived with didn't treat you well. Also, Snape was sacked as the aurors got told how he treated you. They put it down to both those as the reason you left. I don't know if they found out about some of the dangerous things that happened to you so they went with the muggles and Snape. Many were like me, just hoping you were okay.'

'After that year at Hogwarts, I was anything but okay. When I was in the hospital, I did a lot of thinking about what we went through and, well just about everything to do with Hogwarts. Um, okay, if it's alright with your mum, I'd like us to catch up. You just have to promise not to tell anyone. They will make me return and I don't want to be stuck with the Dursley's or made to return to Hogwarts.'

'I won't tell Harry. I'm sure if you explain to my mum, she won't tell either. She wasn't happy when I told her what we went through. When Professor McGonagall spoke to us, she never mentioned anything about danger, or bad teachers, or the prejudices. I explained to mum and dad about our detention in the forbidden forest and why it was called that. They were furious that we were made to serve a detention in a place where something dangerous was killing unicorns but also a place that was forbidden for students to enter. I like it here, they don't have any blood status and all the teachers are great. Let me go speak with mum, then we can get our books. You will also have to explain why you have fifth and sixth year books when we're starting fourth year.'

Harry watched Hermione head to the other side of the shop. He knew they would be having a big talk soon. But hopefully Hermione wouldn't be too upset when she knew how in front of classes he was, both magical and muggle.

Harry used his bag with the feather light charm and undetectable expansion charm to put all his new books. Then he walked beside Hermione as the followed her mum out of the magical shopping district and made their way to her car.

Harry was sitting at the table while Hermione helped her mum put some lunch together.

'Alright, first question. When did you leave England?'

'Right after I left Hogwarts. I couldn't return to the Dursley's. I know what would have happened the moment I got there. After what Hagrid did to Dudley, they would have taken that out on me.'

'You were eleven, nearly twelve. How is it that no adult questioned you?'

'I wrote a letter at Hogwarts. I found a spell that would copy or change my writing. I knew I would be using a different name so I made it look like my mother wrote the letter. When it was finished, I put a confundus charm on it so any of the…non magicals wouldn't question why I was getting on a plane by myself.'

'So, you really are here alone?'

'Yes, Hedwig is with me, but essentially, yes, I'm alone. It's been great. I haven't had to work like a slave and not be fed. I can eat when I need to and I make sure I eat three meals a day. I found out that eating regularly will help you develop your magic. I knew how to cook because the Dursley's made me cook for them. But I spend most my time studying, both magical and non magical, I also exercise.'

'Why didn't you enrol in school here?'

'In case anyone recognised me. The-boy-who-lived is known around the magical world, not just England. It's why I grew my hair and got contact lenses. I only wear the lenses when I'm out, otherwise I wear my new glasses. If anyone found me, they would have sent me back. Even if I didn't go to the Dursley's, the ministry might have gotten involved and I heard that Malfoy's father is good friends with the minister. It would have been too dangerous if they tried to place me with one of those families. Ron's dad said Malfoy was a death eater. I'm sure he would love to kill me if he could.'

'Why would this person want to kill you?' Kathy asked.

Harry turned to face Hermione's mum, 'It's known or down in history that I killed Voldemort when I was a baby and all his followers, which are called death eaters, they want me dead. I found out that my parent's went into hiding when I was a year old. They were killed when I was fifteen months old, yet I survived. I was taken to my mother's sister, who hates me, hated her sister and hates the magical world. So you see, I'm stuck in the middle, which could get me killed or back into an abusive home. I was forced to basically do everything from the time I was five, so I knew I could look after myself if I could just get away.'

'What about money?' Kathy asked.

'My parent's left me everything, which was substantial. I got a money pouch from the goblins which allows me to access my funds. But I also found out that the money I use now is in what they call a trust vault. The actually Potter family vault can't be accessed until I'm seventeen. I brought over twenty thousand pounds with me and twenty thousand galleons.'

'That's dangerous to have that type of money on a boy your age.'

'The pouch I got from the goblins is charmed, it stops anyone but me accessing the money. It's connected to my magical signature. It's also invisible unless I want to show it.' Harry pulled the bag out from under his shirt. 'Even though I only need a small amount when I go out anywhere, I keep this on me at all times in case anyone gets into my…place.'

'At your age you would not be able to get a flat or house. And I noticed you hesitated,' Hermione said staring intensely at Harry.

Harry sighed, 'I got a magical tent, it's like a two room cottage with a kitchen, dining room, a small office, living room, with a fireplace and bathroom. It even has a conservatory. It's charmed to blend in to the background. I turned my second room into a library since I own so many books. I think there's about five thousand books there now.'

'Five thousand,' Hermione squeaked making Harry laugh.

'Yeah. Like I said, I mainly study so I've bought a lot of books. I'm ahead by at least a year, probably more like two. I can sit for my test when I'm of age. But I'm not sure I will for my magical education since they will have to put down my real name. I haven't decided yet what I want to do with that. I'll probably wait to do my test until I'm officially an adult, so no one can force me back or force me to live with anyone if I don't want to. If I do my newts then I can officially live and work where I want. I'm thinking of going to uni after I finish my non magical education. And since I will probably work in the non magical world, I won't need official test results in the magical world. But if I did I would take them after I turn seventeen.'

'Are you happy though Harry, living in a tent and you're alone?'

'It gets lonely, but I would rather be lonely then forced back to the Dursley's, or be put in danger again at Hogwarts. I almost died Hermione, even Dumbledore said I almost died. If he hadn't gotten there when he did, I would have died. The three of us almost died and that happened twice. We were just lucky to get the troll before it got any of us. But I also couldn't believe they would allow all the stone to be in a school. We know something tried to kill me in the forbidden forest and we found out it was Voldemort. Then you have Snape and the way he treated everyone. There was no way I was going to put up with him.'

'He was worse with you. He was also very cruel.'

Harry nodded, 'Yeah, he was. I found out he went to school the same time as my parent's. And since he mentions my dad a lot, I would say they hated each other. I couldn't find out anything more though, apart from Snape being a death eater before he turned spy for Dumbledore.'

'So, they allow this man to teach even though he was one of these killers?' Kathy asked sounding shocked.

Harry shrugged, 'I don't know why, but by going on how he acted and the things he said, I would not trust him, or turn my back on him. I'm not sure he really changed sides since he supports the children of the death eaters and he's cruel to the rest of us. He was a terrible teacher, in fact, he didn't teach at all. We had to pay for that education and three classes were terrible or hopeless.'

'Yes, Hermione explained about Professor Quirrell, Binns and Snape. Professor McGonagall told us it was the best magical school in the world.'

'It's not the best in the world but no one finds that out unless they actually go to another country who has the rankings. The English ministry don't allow anyone to see the rankings. I did a bit of research at the Australian ministry and found out that Hogwarts is number nine. Japan is first, Australia is second and close to them is America, at third, then you have Germany, 4, Italy, 5, China, 6, Greece, 7, Tahiti, 8, Hogwarts is 9, Beauxbatons is 10, Durmstrang is 11.'

'I know there is one in France, Beauxbatons.' Hermione said.

'Right, it's number ten, just after Hogwarts. That's only because it doesn't offer as many subjects as Hogwarts. The one after them is Durmstrang, which I found out taught the dark arts. I liked the sound of the school here, I just couldn't risk being recognised. At least not until I'm sixteen, which is two years away. But I would rather wait until I'm officially an adult in the magical world.'

Harry turned back to Hermione's mother, 'Please ma'am, no one can know. It would put me in danger again. I can look after myself, I have money and a place to live. I eat properly and I study. It's safer this way for me.'

'I will not tell anyone Harry, but,' Kathy stared at the young man, 'I want to speak with my husband. If he agrees, I would like you to move in here. We have the room and you can, if you wish, you don't have to, pay us for your room and board.'

Harry's mouth dropped open then he turned to Hermione who looked excited, 'Um, thank you ma'am, but are you sure? I want to pay my way and I can afford it.'

'As I said, I need to speak with my husband, but I know he will agree. First is we owe you, Hermione told us how you saved her from the troll.'

'Well, it was more Ron than me.'

'Not true Harry. Okay, yes he knocked out the troll. But you told me you forced him to come find me. Also, it was his fault I was in there, crying. You also distracted the troll which allowed Ron to levitate the troll's club. To me, if you hadn't come, I would have died, I know I would have,' Hermione took Harry's hand in hers and squeezed.

'The second reason is, you need adults around you. Not just act on your behalf, but also to guide you and give you advice when you need it. Third is Hermione, like before Hogwarts, she had trouble making friends because of her intelligence. She made a friend in you and she still considers you a friend. I believe it will be good for both of you as you will have someone your own age to spend time with. Naturally, you will follow the rules that we set out for Hermione. But I also know just by speaking with you that you are very independent. All I ask is that you inform us if you wish to go anywhere. Now as for school, I understand how it could be dangerous for you. Hermione doesn't live at the school like she did at Hogwarts. Here you get the option. You can spend the week and come home on weekends or come home every day. Hermione comes home every day, so you will be able to study of an evening, then join us in watching movies.'

Harry grinned. All that sounded wonderful and he would get to spend time with Hermione. He could tell Hermione wanted this to happen and if Mr. Granger agreed, then Harry couldn't think of anything better.

Harry stayed for dinner and got to meet Mathew Granger, who he liked very much. Kathy had asked Harry to relay to her husband about his life with the Dursley's and what he went through at Hogwarts. Even though Harry hated talking about his life at the Dursley's, he knew the Grangers were good people and they were willing to take him into their home.

Right after dinner, Harry sat with Mr. Granger and told him everything. How he lived in a cupboard, how he was made to cook and clean for them. How when they believed I did something "freaky" they would lock me in the cupboard and sometimes he had been in there for up to a month, apart from when he worked and had to use the bathroom. He only got one meal a day and sometimes, he went without for days on end.

Mathew Granger instantly said Harry could move in. They had a couple of spare guest rooms and they had a very large library where Harry could keep his books. If he was so in front with his work, then he could help Hermione which could mean they could both do their tests a year early.

After dinner they asked Harry to spend the night then Mathew would drive him to get his belongings the following day. It would take about two hours to drive, but Hermione wanted to go so the three of them would talk on the drive.

Mathew was impressed with the magical tent and hoped they could all use it when they went on holidays. Hermione was impressed with the size of the library and how many books Harry owned. When they got back, they decided to leave unpacking until the following day. Kathy loved Hedwig and wanted the owl's stand to sit in the corner of the kitchen. She thought Hedwig was the most beautiful bird she had ever seen. Being parents of a muggleborn witch meant they had to be careful if they made friends with others that didn't know about the magical world. Having an owl might seem like an unusual pet but it should not make anyone suspicious, not unless they were a witch or wizard, or a squib.

It didn't take long for Harry to settle in. Every evening he and Hermione would do their school work, both magical and non magical. Hermione used Harry's books instead of going to the wizarding library to borrow books. They would practice the spells, but Hermione was not that far behind Harry and she was able to cast all the spells he could. Hermione was able to help Harry with a lot of his non magical education. For someone that taught themselves and from books, he did okay, but now he had help from Hermione, not to mention her parent's.

'Have you thought about what you might like to do when you finish school?' Hermione asked.

'If I stayed in the magical world, I thought of spell crafting, wand making, even broom making. I know wand and broom making I can do without worrying about my tests. So there's some ideas. If I work in the non magical world, I did think of working in the medical field somewhere. I don't think I would make a good doctor, but research, like trying to find cures for things. That sounds interesting. I also thought of designing things using magic. Like the tent and how nothing inside gets wrecked when you pack it up. That really had my attention since I got the tent. What about you, what are you interested in doing?'

'Like you, I'm still trying to decide between the worlds. I do like the idea of spell crafting. If I was in England I would like to work on the laws. If I work in the non magical world here, then I thought of being a lawyer. I also like the idea of working on items such as the tent. But research does sound good and I do like researching things. Researching could lead to inventing things like tents.'

'You were great with that at Hogwarts. If either of us did something like working on items like the tent, it will need a lot of research. We have a few years left, so we've got time.'

'Yes, we do,' Hermione smiled at Harry, 'I like that you're here.'

'I like being here, not just Australia, I mean here with you and your parent's.'

Harry had been living with the Grangers for two weeks and he felt more at home there with them in those two weeks then he ever felt at home with the Dursley's.

Every few weeks Harry liked to get back copies of newspapers from the magical world to find out if there was any information about him. Like if maybe they had an idea they had found him. He explained to Hermione and her parent's why. It was just to make sure they still had no idea where he was. Harry told Hermione about one story he read six months after he left England. Even though Hermione explained how the aurors were investigating his disappearance, she never found out more than that. The aurors used a legilimense on the Dursley's and found out the truth about how Harry was treated. Since they had squibs or muggleborns working in the muggle world, the Dursley's were charged with child abuse. Vernon, who had been violent towards Harry even when he was a baby, he was sentenced to eight years in jail. Petunia ended up doing four years. They found out about how violent Dudley had been to Harry but also to other kids in the neighbourhood so he was sent to a juvenile detection centre. When he got out, he would be placed in a foster home. Harry knew they deserved it, even Hermione and her parent's said they got what they deserved. It made Harry feel emotional that he had people that truly cared for him.

It was Halloween in England and time for the goblet of fire to choose the champions. Albus Dumbledore had decided this would be the last chance he had of finding Harry Potter. Even though Severus was no longer at Hogwarts, he still reported to Albus if there were things he needed to know. Severus had told him that the dark mark was getting darker. He hoped adding Harry's name to the goblet of fire would mean he would know, by feeling that he had to compete in the triwizard tournament and return to Hogwarts.

One by one the champions were selected. As Albus began to congratulate them, making it seem like he wasn't up to anything. The goblet of fire shot out Harry's name. Everyone knew Harry wasn't at Hogwarts, no one had seen him since his first year at Hogwarts. After five minutes and no sign of Harry, Albus Dumbledore collapsed. When he was checked by Poppy Pomfrey she informed Minerva that Albus was in a magical coma, but she did not know what else was wrong nor did she know the reason he ended up in a coma.

Harry Potter felt nothing.

The triwizard tournament never went ahead due to the fact that Albus Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of the age, ended up magical drained and the healers could not find a way to restore his magic. He also remained in a coma and the healers had no idea when he would wake or if he would wake.

Barty crouch had taken the real Mad-eye Moody and snuck out of Hogwarts when it was announced that the tournament was cancelled. He always hoped the catch Potter if he returned, since his master wanted to use the-boy-who-lived in the ritual. Now Voldemort had no choice but to use another enemy, Mad-eye Moody. Moody was an enemy, half the death eaters in Azkaban where there because of Moody.

Hermione stepped out of the fireplace to see Harry sitting on the sofa reading one of his textbooks.

'I have some news.'

Harry looked up and could tell Hermione was worried, 'What's wrong?'

'A few things. As you know I was like you, I get a copy of the international news paper every month.'

'Yeah, that's why I haven't bothered, I just read yours.'

'Right, well, they planned to put the triwizard tournament on at Hogwarts. On the night where the champions names were drawn, your name came out of the goblet of fire.' Hermione held out the paper for Harry to read.

Harry read the story of how his name somehow seemed to selected as a fourth champion. He also read about what happened to Albus Dumbledore.

'So, the old man lost his magic but he's in a coma and it happened right after my name was selected.' Harry looked up at Hermione, 'He submitted my name in the hope I would return to Hogwarts.'

'Yes, or I believe the same. But read the rest Harry, as this could concern you and how you plan your future.'

Harry's brow furrowed but he continued reading, 'Voldemort's back, how? Everyone said I killed him. Hagrid did say he believed Dumbledore when he said that Voldemort just lost his powers and was hiding. But if the killing curse was used, then how did he survive?'

'I've thought a lot about that Harry. If he really is back than I believe this is the reason. I think whatever protected you had made the killing curse rebound onto him. We know that to be true. But since the curse had already hit you, it lost a lot of it's power. He didn't die like others would, he lost his power. It's the only thing that makes sense. If your mother did do something which gave you a protection from the killing curse it also could mean that the curse had less power by the time it got to you which is why you survived. But the main thing I believe is the curse wasn't at full strength when it hit him, which is why he was able to return.'

'Makes sense. Maybe that's what my mother did, worked on some way for me to survive but also rebounding the curse on the caster. There is no one I can ask about that, but I still couldn't take the chance that they could find me and try to force me to return.'

'I'm sure your parent's must have had some friends that survived the war.'

'If that was true then where were they? Also, my father was from an old pure blood family, I'm sure he didn't want me raised in the non-magical world. If anyone was left alive that were close to them then I'm sure they would have kept me instead of leaving me with the Dursley's. The thing is, I told you what Dumbledore said. How he wouldn't tell me why Voldemort went after me when I was a baby. He also said he placed me with the Dursley's, for protection. Do you think he might have stopped any of my parent's friends from finding me, or at least taking me?'

'I believe he had something to do with it. I'm just not sure how involved he was. But about…him Harry.'

'I'm not going to reveal myself. I'll work on some more permanent documents with the name Evans James. Maybe you should get used to calling me Evan. If there was a reason why he wanted to kill me, then he still might have that reason. Even though I know I'm powerful and you've told me I can do more than most seventh years, I wouldn't be able to fight him. He uses dark magic. But also, I don't want to fight him or help the English magical world. No one ever came to save me. I had to save myself. I also don't want to help them because how they treated you and other muggleborns. I'm here, you're here, it's safe here and a hell of a long way from England. Let them deal with him.'

Hermione sagged in relief, 'I'm so glad you said that. I thought….' Hermione hesitated.

'What, tell me what you thought?'

'I thought since he killed your parents you would want to go after him now you're back.'

'I hope he dies, properly, but to be honest Hermione, I don't remember my parent's. I have no memory of them. And if they did do something to protect me, I'm sure they wouldn't want me to put my life in danger by going after him. Also, Dumbledore knows why, yet he wouldn't tell me, he also believed Voldemort would return. We now know that's true. Why didn't Dumbledore keep me in the magical world, train me or something if this was going to happen sooner or later?'

Hermione couldn't help but smile, 'If he had a reason and Dumbledore knew, then yes, he should have trained you from a young age. But I also like the fact you don't want to help them. I found out through one of my teachers that all muggleborns that go to Hogwarts and want to work in the magical world end up leaving England to work in other countries, or they return to the non magical world. It seems that no one will hire a muggleborn. McGonagall basically lied to us when she told my parents that I could go on to become minister for magic, if I wanted to. They also have very archaic laws, especially for woman.'

'I noticed how those like Malfoy thought they were better than you. He never came near your intelligence or power when doing spells. Yet that wasn't going to make any difference to people who do the hiring. We're better off here Hermione. It's a great country and there is no such thing as blood status. If I can make sure they don't find my real name, I will sit my newts, it just gives me more options.'

'Some of your books might help. But maybe the goblins can help. They gave you a non-magical passport, which is illegal in the non-magical world yet the muggles would never know. Maybe they have a way to create documents that would pass any scrutiny, magical or muggle.'

'You've given this a lot of thought. Any reason why?'

'Well, you might want to marry one day Harry. We talked about that since you were worried that if I end up with someone, they could find out who you really are.'

'I know and we said we would talk about that if you got serious with someone. But I think I should legally change my name, I just have to wait until I'm eighteen before I can. The goblin documents will work but it doesn't make it legal. I'll work that out when I'm an adult.

Within the year Voldemort had taken over magical England and he his army was building up every day. He planned to control the muggles, but also take over other countries.

The unspeakables were able to sneak out the prophecy and show it to Madam Amelia Bones, who was hiding at Hogwarts with many others who had escaped Voldemort and his death eaters. The people who heard the prophecy finally realised what they lost when Harry Potter left. Some blamed Albus Dumbledore, but many blamed Harry Potter for leaving. Minerva McGonagall spoke with many and explained about how Severus treated Harry and how Albus refused to do anything about it. Amelia knew from the auror reports that the muggles mistreated Harry Potter. It was officially called abuse. They were lucky they could prosecute the muggles for their treatment of Harry since they had squibs and muggleborns who worked in the muggle world but kept in contact with the magical world.

By the time Minerva and Amelia finished speaking with those that were in hiding, no one blamed Harry Potter for leaving. But they did blame Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape along with the muggles that hurt Harry.

One man who had snuck into Hogwarts, would listen in to as many conversations as he could. When he heard how Harry was treated by the muggles and what happened at Hogwarts, he realised why Harry had left. Since no one would believe he was innocent, Sirius Black decided to leave England and hope he could find his godson. He had a connection to Harry, due to the bond that happened at the naming ceremony making him Harry's godfather. All Sirius had to do was concentrate on Harry and hoped that one day he would reunite with his best friends son. He had got hold of a wand, now was the time to get some fake papers from the goblins. Sirius Black needed to disappear, but James Black would just be another wizard who liked to keep to himself. Sirius also realised he would need to make himself look different. A full beard would help, cutting and dying his hair that would be a start. He would see about some fake glasses. Anyone that knew Sirius Black knew he didn't wear glasses. It was time to do all he could so no one would recognise him.

Harry went to speak with the goblins about having his name legally changed. He was surprised that they could do it and it would be legal in the wizarding world and muggle world. It cost Harry a lot, but he got all the documents he needed from the goblins to make him officially Evan James. This time he did get a driver's license. One thing Harry liked and it was the one thing he had worried about. He arrived in Australia as a visitor, then using magic, disappeared. The new documents also had his Australian citizenship, for the magical and muggle world. It meant that Harry wouldn't need to change his name in the muggle world. As far as his documents said, he was Evan James and he was an Australian citizen. The documents also put that that Kathy and Mathew Granger were Evan James' guardians, also Mathew was Evan's second cousin.

Evan and Hermione went on to graduate high school a year earlier. Evan did his as a home school student, which wasn't unusual. They also sat their newts a year earlier. Harry, or Evan passed every subject with an O, but he ended up with the highest score in defence against the dark arts and charms, which gave him his masters in both subjects. Hermione passed everything and ended up with her masters in ancient runes, transfiguration and charms.

'I think I want to work on inventing things like the tent but maybe invent potions.'

'I want to do spell crafting, ancient runes will help with that.'

'Then we could work together. Once we begin and see how much is involved then we will know if this could lead making money. It's a career, but it's the money that might not come. You know I can claim my family vaults in a year, which I plan to do. We could set up like a business. Work on creating spells, write a book, which will make money. Potions, well, a lot of people just don't want to spend the time or have the patients to make potions. Some just can't make them. We could make them and sell them, especially if we can modify potions to make them better. Or even a new potion that helps people.' We can make it official and be partners, legally.'

'Yes, we could and I would prefer it all to be legal. It would mean we probably wouldn't be making money for years.'

'I have the family money and I still have half of what was in my trust vault. You're my best friend Hermione and I know this will work for both of us. Also, I believe your researching skills will help me as well. This way we can take our time. Work on what we want and not what might be popular. We aren't forced taking a job just for money. One idea I had that I would like to research is the patronus charm.'

'I'll go along with that if I can contribute, once we're making money. But as to what you just said, that is an advanced charm that some can't even do. But what exactly where you thinking?'

'Two ideas actually. One is to try to make it easier for anyone to cast or make an item that works like the charm. The second is instead of just using the charm to chase dark creatures away, I thought of maybe trying to see if they could either kill the dark creature or hold it in some way.'

'Like a jail made from the patronus charm?'

'Exactly. I was thinking we might be able to charm something but it would permanently stay charmed with the patronus charm. I thought we could try things like crystals, they might hold the charm. It could mean it holds but needs recharging after a certain amount of time.'

'That sounds interesting. Alright, that's one and I had an idea of trying to create a bracelet or band for people like my parent's. It will allow them to see things like dragons, unicorns and anything that has the muggle repelling charm on it and it wouldn't affect them. This would only be good for people like me with non-magical parent's.'

'It would be good. It might allow them to use the floo, but a restricted floo. We could end up living on the other side of the country, it would be easier for them to visit if they could use the floo. Right now, we could live on the other side of the country and we just have to apparate here. You're parent's would have to take a plane which would take hours.'

'Then that's the second thing we can work on. I haven't really thought about where I might live, have you?'

'No, I like Queensland, the warm weather and the beaches are beautiful. I did visit a lot of places when I first arrived and there are some beautiful and amazing places. But I know I don't want to live in a place that's cold, or colder.'

'I'm the same, I like the warm weather. Well, we still have time to work that out.'

'Another idea I had would also help people like us, raised in the muggle world. We know electricity can blow around large quantities of magic, like the ministry, schools or shopping areas. What if we can find a way to make things like a phone work around magic, or some type of communication device? I remember how sad you were and how much you missed your parent's during that year at Hogwarts. You wanted to speak with them so they could give you some advice, but also just to feel close to them.'

'Then we work on that as well. We could study how the floo works when you just want to talk to someone.'

'Yes, that's one thing we can study, then hopefully place some type of charms on say a small cup with flames, or something. We'll leave that for later. I think runes will help protect the electronics, it's just working on the power to charge the item. That's if we do use electronics. We might find another way. Anyway, we'll get to it.'

'Yes, let's go with the other idea's first.'

'One thing I also want to work on. As I told you about the tent and bag. What if we could work that but for a house?'

'I'm not sure what you mean.'

'Okay, think of muggle model homes. Imagine a magical person, they could have a look at a model home, or even design their own. They buy the land, order the home, then you just need to pick it up. You put it on the land than expand it. Also, because of the muggle world, we could work on charms to make the house appear like a normal house but it really is a three story mansion, if that's what someone wants. Also, like the tent. It looks like a normal muggle tent on the outside, but it's a two story, two bedroom cottage on the inside. Ron told me once that his dad had a car that he charmed so it was bigger on the inside, yet the outside looked normal.'

'Like doctor who's tardis.'

'Yes, but we make it so it is something we can carry until we plan to use it. Imagine if someone wanted to go on a long holiday. They could take the house with them, unless they buy a beach house of something that could be packed up and stored after the holiday.'

'That sounds like something that would be useful. I also like the idea that you could go buy your home, then you just place it on the property. You've seen some homes, like I have, where I thought the house would have been better in a different spot on the property or facing a different way.'

'Exactly, it's something we can work on and again, take our time. Anyway, while I was out before, I put in an order for a pensieve. I thought about it when I first left England. I wanted some way to show proof of how I was treated by the Dursley's and how Snape was. I figured it could help if I was found. Now though, it just might come in handy, even if I'm not sure how, at least not yet.'

'Apart from having a copy of everything we come up with including ideas, we could use the pensieve as a video copy. We make copies of our memories when we come up with idea's and when we work it out. Also, we could show my parent's exactly how Snape acted and what Hogwarts looked like. We both said it Harry. At first, we thought the castle looked something out of a fairy tale. We soon found out exactly what it was like. Oh, what about using a pensieve in another way. What if we take a camera in with us so we can take pictures?'

'I like it, okay, then I just have to wait until one is ready. They take a while to make and you have to leave half as a deposit since they do cost a lot. Normally I'm not one for spending so much especially on one item but I figured it might come in handy.'

'I'm sure we'll come up with many ways a pensieve will help. We've been working for a while so how about we head to the beach for a while?'

'Sounds good. Let's go change.'

James Black had been watching the young man for the last few weeks. He still wasn't sure it was Harry. But the bone structure was exactly like James Potter. There was also the colour of his eyes, Lily's eyes, even the shape was Lily's eyes. His hair might be a different colour and he couldn't see a scar but the face is what made James believe he had found his godson. He knew Harry was using a different name, Evan James. It seemed they both wanted to keep the Potters alive by using their names. Harry used Evan for Lily and James for his father. Sirius used James for his best friend. Now he just had to figure out how to make contact with Harry, if it was Harry.

It took James Black a few days before he finally figured out how to contact his godson. He would speak with the Grangers, explain how he was wrongly imprisoned but he broke out to find his godson. He heard what happened at Hogwarts and he heard how he had been treated by his muggle relatives. If the Grangers could just give him a chance to explain then he might finally get to know James' son. Harry was too old now to need a guardian, but Sirius thought they might just be able to be friends. If Harry would give him a chance then he could fill in his godson on stories about his parent's.

Evan and Hermione arrived home after they been out all day inspecting places that they might use for a business. They did what they normally did when they got home, they went to freshen up before heading to the kitchen to greet Hermione's parent's. They saw a strange man sitting at the table talking to Mathew.

'How did the inspections go?' Kathy asked as she saw her daughter and Harry step into the kitchen.

'We found a place that would be perfect. It's big, with a lot of natural light. It's also got two large fireplaces, if we need them and plenty of ventilation,' Hermione said cautiously.

'If they are large then they can be connected to the floo network,' James/Sirius said before standing to stare at his godson.

'You look familiar, have we met?'

'We have, a long time ago, Harry.'

'Damn, they found me,' Harry began to back away.

'No, wait, I'm not here for them or anything. I don't want you to return, not like they do.'

'He's telling the truth Harry,' Mathew said then held up a wand, 'He handed me his wand the moment he came here. He wanted us and you to know you were safe. He left England as well since they threw him in Azkaban without a trial and he's innocent.'

'I wasn't even questioned, they just believed Dumbledore and I'm in Azkaban for murdering thirteen people and for betraying your parent's to Voldemort. I would have died for you and your parent's, they were my family.'

'Who are you?'

'I'm your godfather, Sirius Black. Your dad was my best friend. My real family were all dark so everyone just believed I was the same even if I ended up in Gryffindor and not Slytherin. You used to call me Paddy, since you were only just learning to talk last time I saw you.'

'Paddy,' Harry's brow furrowed, 'Padfoot.'

Sirius nodded, 'Yes, your dad was Prongs.'

'Pongs,' Harry whispered, 'I remember those names, but there were others.'

'Moony and Wormtail. Wormtail or Peter Pettigrew was the man who betrayed your family to Voldemort and murdered the muggles. He was with Voldemort when he returned to a body. Wormtail was an animagus, a rat. I'm a dog that resembles a grim and your dad was a stag.'

'What was Moony?' Hermione asked.

'He wasn't an animagus, he was a werewolf. He was bitten as a child but he never wanted to hurt anyone. We befriended him then your dad had the idea of becoming animagus to keep him company on the wolf nights.'

'What is an animagus?' Kathy asked.

Sirius smiled, he changed into padfoot, 'Paddy,' Harry whispered as he approached the big black dog, 'I remember.'

Sirius slowly turned back, 'I've been trying to find you for years, ever since I escaped from Azkaban. You would have just turned thirteen when I was in my right mind to escape. It took me years before my mind cleared and the first thing I knew was I had to find you. I know you're too old to need a godfather or guardian, but I'm hoping we can be friends.'

Harry nodded, then he found himself being hugged by his godfather. Hermione sat beside her father.

'How did he find Harry?'

'He found him a few weeks back. At first, he wasn't positive it was him, so he kept watch. Once he was sure, he approached us. He handed us his wand then told us his story. He then asked for his wand back to make a magical oath to prove he was not dangerous, to any of us.'

'A magical oath is serious.'

'I was willing to give an unbreakable vow if it meant I got to know my godson.'

'But how did you track me here?'

'A bonding is done during the naming ceremony. We're linked in a way that allows us to find each other. We have to concentrate on the other which will lead us to where we need to go. Being so far from England meant the connection was a lot weaker. I travelled mainly as Padfoot except when I apparated. I went through different countries. When I knew you weren't there I would leave for another country. I arrived in Australia more than a year ago. Since the country is so big, it took me a while to follow the connection here. It doesn't show me who I'm connected to, just that we're close. I had the right area so I just kept watch as often as I could and mostly as Padfoot. I saw the both of you at the beach the first time. I almost turned away until I saw the colour of your eyes, Lily's eyes.'

Harry nodded, 'That's all anyone ever told me. I look like my father but have my mother's eyes. Mr Ollivander told me what their wands were best at. Hermione told me dad was on the quidditch team, that's when I got offered the spot as seeker.'

'Harry was the youngest player in a century. He was a natural on a broom,' Hermione said giving Harry a smile.

'I enjoyed flying but when we lost a lot of points, I really didn't want to have anything to do with quidditch after that. I still fly, but only for me. I got Hermione to fly even though she never liked heights.'

'Like Lily, she refused to get on a broom. She hated it when James took you up when you were only a few months old. But James used a sticking charm to make sure you were safe. I bought you your first broom when you turned one. You used to make me laugh. You would fly around the house, chasing the cat, bumping into everything. Lily used to send stinging hexes at me every time you broke something. James would be running after you while I repaired everything. You were a natural even then.'

'Um, I ordered a pensieve, do you think you could show me some memories of them?'

'Of course I will. I planned to tell you about your parent's, but a pensieve is better.'

'Where are you staying?'

'When I realised it was you, I bought a house not far from here.'

'If they thought you were a criminal how did you afford a house?' Hermione asked.

'The goblins don't care if we're innocent or guilty. If we're guilty the vaults are sealed until our children are old enough to take over. I had no kids but they also couldn't seal my vaults or the family vaults since I was never given a trial. Once a person is found guilty, the ministry order the vaults sealed. I transferred it all here. It also stops people like Narcissa Malfoy from gaining the Black money.'

'What has she got to do with it?' Harry asked.

'We're cousins. There are three sisters, Andromeda is the oldest, but she was disowned when she married a muggleborn. Bellatrix is next, she's in Azkaban and was a dangerous death eater. She's also insane and just as dangerous as Voldemort. Narcissa is the youngest. Now she couldn't have touched the Black money herself, but the ministry could have allowed her to take charge of it until Draco came of age. Since Lucius Malfoy is a death eater, I wanted to make sure they never got all that money.'

'So, you have a lot of money?' Harry asked.

'The Blacks are one of the wealthiest families in England. Do you know about your other vault?'

'Yeah, the goblins told me. I plan to have it all transferred here once I turn seventeen.'

'Good, get it out of England. You know they are still trying to find you.'

'Hermione keeps an eye on the international newspapers. She found out that Voldemort returned and they were more anxious to find me, but it never mentioned why.'

'There was a prophecy made about you and Voldemort. I don't know what it said, just that one was made not long before you were born. Dumbledore heard it, then tried to work out which baby boy it meant. There were two, you and the Longbottom boy. Both families went into hiding. At first, I was the secret keeper, but I thought it was too obvious since everyone knew I was James's best friend. I was even best man at the wedding. Also, I figured if we switched secret keepers to Peter, he could escape and disappear since he could turn into a rat. I blamed myself for your parent's deaths even if I didn't really have anything to do with it. I gave your parent's the idea to switch secret keepers. But about the prophecy, if it's still valid then from what I remember, you are the only one that can finish Voldemort, for good. I really hope you're not interested in facing him.'

'No, Hermione and I spoke, then I spoke with Mathew and Kathy. No one there helped either of us and now we heard you never got a trial. They deserve whatever happens to them.'

'Good. After what I heard about how you were treated, I had hoped to convince you to stay away. But just before I left, I heard talk about the muggles getting involved since the death eaters keep killing them and destroying things in the muggle world. I don't know much about muggles or what types of things they might have that could help.'

'They could destroy the wizarding community in England quite easily,' Mathew said.

Mathew, Kathy and Hermione explained about what the muggle military could do. Harry chipped in with some things he knew, but when he lived with the Dursley's, he was never allowed to read or watch television so he never learnt a lot about the muggle world. When he arrived in Australia, he did visit muggle places and he did read a lot of history books, not just on Australia, but on England. So, he knew a lot about the muggle military now and had no doubt the muggles would deal with Voldemort and his death eaters.

It took years, but the muggles did end up killing all the death eaters, they also killed Voldemort. The queen revoked the agreement that had been made that allowed witches and wizards to govern themselves. She put together a group of people who would deal with all magical people but they would now follow the queen's laws and the government also governed the magical world. The group consisted of non magicals along with squibs and muggleborns who were forced to leave the wizarding world.

A few unspeakables, aurors and people like Amelia Bones did explain to the muggles about the prophecy and Harry Potter. So even though it appeared that the muggles killed Voldemort, the wizarding world weren't sure if he would return or not.

Amelia, who had been invited into the group to help run the wizarding world was given some information about Harry Potter.

Amelia called a meeting of people like Minerva, Mad-eye and the rest of the group that had been looking for Harry Potter from the time he disappeared.

'I have some news. Now even though the group I speak with all believe they destroyed Voldemort, they did concede that he could be once again a soul, drifting around until he could somehow work on another ritual. They studied all the books on dark rituals and found one thing in common. Every ritual needed a part of a blood family. No one ever found out where the Gaunt's were buried, so they researched Voldemort's father's family. It was the father's bone that was used last time. They removed and destroyed every person that was related to Voldemort, including the Gaunt's. They had a seer that works with them occasionally. She led them to where they were buried. There is no way Voldemort can return. He cannot possess anyone as he doesn't have enough power. The most he can do is possess animals, like snakes.'

'That's good news,' Minerva said.

'it is. But there is another piece of news that the group found out. It seems Sirius Black was never tried for his crimes. Another country had their aurors use veritaserum on him, he is and always has been innocent. As he was magical named godfather to Harry Potter, he used his connection to him to track him down, which he did. They now have a very close relationship, which includes Harry's wife. Minerva, you may remember her, she left Hogwarts after her first year. Sally-Anne Perks is now sally Potter. Actually, Harry changed his name, legally, in the magical world and the muggle world. I could not find out the name as the country he is living in helped hide his identity. And no, I do not know which country he moved too.'

'We have to try to find him. If Voldemort is still around someone might find him and find a way to resurrect him.'

'Even if we find Harry Potter, I doubt he would be willing to help. Albus left him to be abused, then allowed Snape to abuse him at Hogwarts. Even you Minerva did not help the boy when he was here. Hermione Granger left because of how she was treated and she is Harry's partner in the business and best friends with his wife. Sally-Anne left because of how she was treated, she is now Harry's wife. Then add Sirius, who would have raised Harry if he wasn't thrown in Azkaban. We can ask, but don't get your hopes up that he will help. We worked on plans to make sure he ends up just soul again if he does return. The unspeakables believe if that keeps happening, it will eventually weaken him where his soul will not be able to stay. Right now, I believe that's the best we can hope for. We can write to Mr Potter, but I don't believe he would be inclined to help so we plan as if he was not found.'

The group realised Amelia was right. Even if they spoke to Harry Potter, after the way he and his friend were treated, then add the way his wife were treated, along with his godfather, they didn't believe he would help.

Hermione and Harry, or as he had everyone call him now, Evan got their building fitted out exactly as they wanted. They began to work on some of their ideas. Hermione got stuck into the charm that she could place on a bracelet for people like her parents. Harry began working on how the wizarding tents worked. He wanted to make homes that could be picked up, put in your pocket then take it to your land and magic would expand it.

When Sirius was filled in on what his godson and best friend were doing and some of their ideas, Sirius told them about the communication mirror he and James invented when they were at Hogwarts. Hermione and Evan were excited. But one thing the both of them wanted was for the mirrors to connect to any other charmed mirror, as long as you had the person's name or password. Sirius decided since he was sticking around, he would help. Evan and Hermione officially brought Sirius in as a partner. They wanted everything official so when they began to invent items or potions and release items, they wanted it known who owned the small company. Naturally they didn't use Sirius' real name. He did what Harry had done and legally changed his name to James Black.

Even though Harry was married to Sally, she supported him but she always wanted to be a healer and that's what she was doing. She was only a trainee healer and in her first year. Another few years and she would be a full healer. She already told Evan she would like to work for about ten to fifteen years before they had children. Evan thought that was perfect. He hoped the company would be very successful by then and more staff. Then he could have some time with his children, once they were born. It was Sally that gave Evan, Hermione and James an idea to help with muggle things like cd players. For now, until they could work on something more permanent, she asked if they could charm the batteries that went into portable things. If they could stop the items blowing up around magic, maybe the batteries could be charmed so when they were getting flat, a spell just recharged them. The three that owned the business thought it was a great idea, and one they could work on straight away.

The moment Evan turned seventeen, he went to Gringotts and had the contents of the Potter family vault transferred to his new country. While he had been speaking with the goblins, he asked if there was someone who he, Evan could hire, to remove his parents bodies and have them transported to Australia. The goblins said, for a price, they could do it. Evan instantly organised for that to happen.

When Evan got home, he changed then began working on dinner. His wife would be home soon and she always came home tired. Learning to become a healer was hard work with a lot of long days. But Sally, along with Evan knew it would be worth it, in the end.

'Hi love,' Sally said as she walked in, then kissed her husband.

'Hey honey. How was your day?'

'Long, but I believe I'm adapting to the long hours. I don't get as tired as I used to. Oh, there was a big of problem at work and I ended up having to come home to change my clothes. There was an owl here with a letter addressed to Harry Potter. I check it for things like tracking charms, portkeys, potions and spells, it was clear. I put it on your desk.'

'The odd owl has found me over the years, usually, it was from some ministry personal trying to tell me to return. I did find out that they would pay for a dozen oversea owls then just send them to different countries. I'll see what this one has to say later.'

After they ate, Sally went to have a shower, Evan went to his office. Even though Sally checked the letter, he did again. He knew that some people could work on delayed charms. James had explained that the Marauders used them all the time, which is why they never got caught when they pulled pranks on people at Hogwarts.

Once the letter came up clear, he opened it and began to read.

When Sally walked downstairs, she was surprised to find her husband sitting with James and Hermione.

'I called them about the letter,' Evan handed the letter to his wife so she could read what it says and who it was from.

'So because of the prophecy, they are worried he will eventually find a way to possess a person. It's the only way he can return now they destroyed the bones of all his blood family.'

'The unspeakables said they will be able to catch and hold his spirit but they believe it should be me that sends his soul through the death veil.'

'We were just discussing what Evan should do,' James said.

'We believe it should be done but in another country,' Hermione said.

'I think that's a good idea. This way, they still won't find out which country you live in.'

'So we're all in agreement,' Evan said. He got a nod from the others.

'Once this is done, they will have no reason to contact you again. We can all get on with our lives,' James said.

'I think we should pick Canada. It's English speaking for one and they've had problems with dark wizards before, which is why they created their own death veil. The only use it for dark wizards who kill and torture. Their jail is used for all other criminals,' Hermione said.

The group worked on their plans before James and Hermione used the floo to go home. Evan decided to leave writing his letter until the following morning. He went to shower, then he wanted to climb into bed with his wife.

The minister for magic in England, Griselda Marchbanks had contacted the people who should be informed. Once they all arrived in her office, she held the letter out for Amelia to read.

'He has agreed to send the soul of Voldemort through the death veil but he refuses to step one foot in this country. He gave an alternative, capture him, transport him to Canada where their ministry has agreed to allow Harry Potter along with his family, to use their death veil. They want either you minister or someone you appoint to be there to witness it.'

'I had a feeling he might say another country if he agreed to help,' Kingsley said. 'I found out through one of my contacts that he had the entire contents of his vaults, along with the contents of the Godric's hollows house and his parents bodies removed from here and sent to his new country. No one can find out which country that is.'

'So he completely cut ties in every way with this country. Not that I blame him,' Amelia said.

'Could it be Canada?' Minerva asked.

'No, they picked Canada as a neutral country but has had their own problems with dark wizards,' Griselda said. 'Amelia, I wish you to be my representative.'

'Of course minister.'

'Now we just have to hope Croaker can find his spirit quickly.'

It only took a month for the unspeakables to find and capture Voldemort's spirit. He was now encases in a charmed crystal, one that could not be broken, so he cannot escape. They sent word to the minister who sent word to the Canadian minister. They would contact Harry Potter.

Amelia watched as a powerful, tall, dark haired man walk into the room with a blond woman, they were holding hands, which told Amelia that this was Harry Potter's wife. Following was another woman, who Amelia knew was Hermione Granger and behind her was Sirius Black.

'Before we begin,' Amelia held out a letter to Sirius. She just smiled as she watched him begin to cast spells on the letter before taking it, 'The minister had this done the moment it was known that you were never given a trial. She had me investigate what happened back then. The few that were still alive and involved in you being sent to Azkaban, are all in Azkaban themselves now. I am sorry Mr Black, I should have done more. I was head auror at the time.'

'You are not to blame Madam Bones. Albus Dumbledore told all of you that he cast the fidelius charm making me secret keeper. Then tells you that I confessed. We may never know why he lied or what his plans were for my godson but we know he had them. He was very good at manipulating people.'

'Yes, he was, but it still feel guilty for not doing my part,' Amelia turned to the other man, 'On behalf of the minister for magic, she wishes you to know how sorry she is for what you went through as a child. She also said, because of your situation along with the way all muggleborns were treated, she began to make a lot of changes. There is a lot of new laws now. There is no separation based on blood status. There's even a law against the word…' Amelia hesitated, 'mudblood. If anyone uses that, it's a thirty day stay in Azkaban, minimum security section. She is determined to to stop all that type of prejudice.'

Evan wasn't sure what to say so he just gave the woman a small head bow in acceptance.

The unspeakable stepped forward and held out to Harry, a large smokey black crystal.

'We found his spirit around the town his parents had lived. We believe he was just waiting for another of his supporters to find him so they can begin the ritual again. We explained to him, when we caught him, that all his blood relatives bones had been removed and destroyed. Apart from raging at me, he eventually began to shake and beg to be spared.'

'I bet a lot of his victims begged to be spared, yet he used to laugh. We may not be laughing but he will not get an ounce of sympathy from me, or from many others,' Evan took the crystal ball, stared at it for a minute, 'This is for all your victims Tom Riddle,' Evan walked towards the veil then threw the ball as hard as he could, 'Rest in peace, mum, dad,' Evan said in a whisper.

'We thank you for this Mr Potter. We also hope you can finally put all this to rest, for good,' Amelia said giving Harry a bow.

'I believe I can and I believe that many others can as well. I do hope your country never again has anyone like Voldemort, or Albus Dumbledore. Maybe then you can finally join the rest of the wizarding world, who are moving forward every day.'

Evan took his wife's hand, turned and walked out of the room with Hermione and James following. Amelia along with Croaker stared at them as they left before they finally left the room. But both felt like they could finally move on with their lives and maybe they could make their country great again.

It would be the last time anyone from England saw or heard from the-boy-who-lived.

The end:
