The hidden seer:

James and Sirius watched Lily as she sat on the floor, like a statue, her eyes were pure white. There was nothing they could do. They had seen Lily do this many times so they knew they would need to wait until she came out of her trance. They just hoped it didn't take long.

'I hate this Padfoot, it takes so much out of her.'

'I know Prongs, but she's doing it to make sure Harry will be okay. It's just lucky that she found the charm that activated her seer ability. Being a muggleborn she didn't get taught how to use it from a young age, like most seers. But she found out it was there, she had to use it.'

'I know, I know, it just exhausts her and I think they are taking their toll. She doesn't sleep well anymore, she sits in Harry's room every night just staring at him,' James looked down at his son sleeping in his arms.

'If she can get all the answers we need then she won't need to do this anymore, or at least take a break. Let me take Harry, you stay with Lil.'

'Alright,' James very gently handed his twelve month old son over to his godfather then sat on the floor beside his wife, waiting for her to return. Lily had given James and Sirius a lot of information over the last six months, ever since she had her first trance experience. James and Sirius would keep Lily's name out of it but they would relay the information by saying it was through a source who didn't want to be known.

So far the order of the phoenix has stopped many killings or stopped people like Frank and Alice Longbottom from mind damage due to the cruciatus curse from Bellatrix Lestrange and Barty Crouch. They had been attacked twice by those death eaters but Lily had "seen" it in time to prevent her friends from being cursed or killing. They were keeping an eye on all the other death eaters. Anyone on the light side knew that death eaters had to be stopped. The death eaters could try again since Frank and Alice were two powerful aurors. It had happened twice, it could easily happen again. James and Sirius just hoped Lily saw something before it happened, so they could stop it, again.

The second time that Bellatrix and Barty attacked the Longbottom's, James and Sirius had hexed the dark witch and wizard which released Frank and Alice. Bellatrix was currently in Azkaban without her mind, having been subjected to the dementors kiss, Barty crouch jr kept fighting, he died due to his injuries. The only information they got out of Bellatrix before the kiss was performed was that her lord was going to take care of everyone in the order of the phoenix before he takes care of it's leader, Albus Dumbledore.

Lily instantly wanted to leave the order, James believes he should have listened to his wife instead of Albus who said they would get more information which would keep them safer if they remained members. They stayed, but they never promised they wouldn't leave one day.

Albus Dumbledore would keep asking James and Sirius who their source was, they refused to say by stating the person didn't want anyone to know due to how many spies were about. And no matter what argument Albus used, they kept quiet. Albus was not used to people saying no to him, he didn't like it but nothing he did had discovered who this source was. James, Sirius and Lily had put that information under the fidelius charm to make sure no one could force them to tell that Lily was a seer. Veritaserum would not work, neither would legilimense. It was to protect Lily and the two men would do everything they could to protect Lily and Harry.

Lily Potter was seeing a glimpse of the future, a future that involved her family, especially her son, Harry. First she saw James murdered then she saw her own murder at the hands of Voldemort, she saw her own baby boy hit with the killing curse but she saw he survived, Voldemort was destroyed. Her sight shifted as the watched two people she knew very well, they were talking about her baby.

Harry Potter and the philosophers stone:

('I've come to bring Harry to his aunt and uncle. They're the only family he has left now.'

'you don't mean – you can't possibly mean the people who live here?' Cried professor McGonagall, jumping to her feet and pointing at number four, 'Dumbledore – you can't. I've been watching them all day. You couldn't find two people who are less like us. And they've got this son – I saw him kicking his mother all the way up the street, screaming for sweets. Harry potter come to live here!'

'It's the best place for him,' said Dumbledore firmly, 'His aunt and uncle will be able to explain everything to him when he's older. I've written them a letter.'

'A letter?' Repeated Professor McGonagall faintly, sitting back down on the wall, 'Really Dumbledore, you think you can explain all this in a letter? These people will never understand him. He'll be famous – a legend – I wouldn't be surprised if today was known as Harry Potter day in the future – there will be books written about Harry – every child in our world will know his name!'

'Exactly,' said Dumbledore, looking very seriously over the top of his half-moon glasses, 'It would be enough to turn any boy's head. Famous before he can walk and talk! Famous for something he won't even remember! Can't you see how much better off he'll be, growing up away from all that until he's ready to take it?'

Professor McGonagall opened her mouth, changed her mind, swallowed, and then said, 'Yes – yes, you're right, of course. But how is the boy getting here, Dumbledore?' She eyes his cloak suddenly as though she thought he might be hiding Harry underneath it.

'Hagrid's bringing him.'

'You think it – wise – to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?'

'I would trust Hagrid with my life,' said Dumbledore.

'I'm not saying his heart isn't in the right place,' said Professor McGonagall grudgingly, 'But you can't pretend he's not careless. He does tend to – what was that?'

A low rumbling sound had broken the silence around them. It grew steadily louder as they looked up and down the street for a some sign of a headlight; it swelled to a roar as they both looked up at the sky – and a huge motorcycle fell out of the air and landed on the road in front of them.

If the motorcycle was huge, it was nothing to the man sitting astride it. He was almost twice as tall as a normal man and at least five times as wide. He looked simply too big to be allowed, and so wild – long tangles of bushy black hair and beard hid most of his face, he had hands the size of trash can lids and his feet in their leather boots were like baby dolphins. In his vast, muscular arms he was holding a bundle of blankets.

'Hagrid,' said Dumbledore sounding relieved, 'At last, and where did you get the motorcycle?'

'Borrowed it, Professor Dumbledore sir,' said the giant, climbing carefully off the motorcycle as he spoke, 'Young Sirius Black lent it to me. I've got him sir.'

'No problems, were there?'

'No, sir – house was almost destroyed, but I got him out all right before the muggles started swarmin' around. He fell asleep as we was flying over Bristol.'

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall bent forward over the bundle of blankets. Inside, the just visible, was a baby boy, fast asleep. Under the tuft of jet-black hair over his forehead they could see a curiously shaped cut, like a bolt of lightning.

'Is that where - ?' Whispered Professor McGonagall.

'Yes,' said Dumbledore, 'He'll have that scar forever.'

'Couldn't you do something about it, Dumbledore?'

'Even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in handy. I have one myself above my left knee that is a perfect map of the London underground. Well – give him here, Hagrid – we'd better get this over with.'

Dumbledore took Harry in his arms and turned towards the Dursley's house.

'Could I – could I say good-bye to him, sir?' Asked Hagrid, he bent his great, shaggy head over Harry and gave him what must have been a very scratchy, whiskery kiss. Then suddenly Hagrid let out a howl like a wounded dog.

'Shhhh!' Hisses Professor McGonagall, 'You'll wake the muggles!'

'S-s-sorry,' sobbed Hagrid, taking out a large, spotted handkerchief and burying his face in it, 'But I c-c-can't stand it – Lily an' James dead – an' poor little Harry off ter live with muggles – '

'Yes, yes, it's all very sad, but get a grip on yourself, Hagrid, or we'll be found,' Professor McGonagall whispered, patting Hagrid gingerly on the arm as Dumbledore stepped over the low garden wall and walked to the front door. He laid Harry gently on the doorstep, took a letter out of his cloak, tucked it inside Harry's blankets, and then came back to the other two. For a full minute the three of them stood and looked at the little bundle; Hagrid's shoulders shook, Professor McGonagall blinked furiously, and the twinkling light that usually shone from Dumbledore's eyes seemed to have gone out.

'Well,' said Dumbledore finally, 'that's that. We've no business staying here. We may as well go and join the celebrations.'

'Yeah,' said Hagrid in a very muffled voice, 'I'll be takin' Sirius his bike back. G'night, Professor McGonagall – professor Dumbledore, sir.'

Wiping his streaming eyes on his jacket sleeve, Hagrid swung himself onto the motorcycle and kicked the engine to life; with a roar it rose into the air and off into the night.

'I shall see you soon, I expect, Professor McGonagall,' said Dumbledore, nodding to her. Professor McGonagall blew her nose in reply.

Dumbledore turned and walked back down the street. On the corner he stopped and took out the silver put-outer. He clicked it once and twelve balls of light sped back to their street lamps so that privet drive glowed suddenly orange and he could make out a tabby cat slinking around the corner at the other end of the street.)

Albus could see the bundle of blankets on the step of number four. He knew now that there would not be another version of James and Sirius, so even though Albus did wish to keep the boy safe, he wanted him brought up without the influence of the Marauders. He wanted to be the one to influence the boy so eventually, he would take over as leader of the light.

('Good luck, Harry,' he murmured. He turned on his heel and with a swish of his cloak, he was gone.

A breeze ruffled the neat hedges of privet drive, which lay silent and tidy under the inky sky, the very last place you would expect astonishing things to happen. Harry potter rolled over inside his blankets without waking up. One small hand closed on the letter beside him and he slept on, not knowing he was special, not knowing he was famous, not knowing he would be woken in a few hours time by Mrs. Dursley's scream as she opened the front door to put out the milk bottles, nor that he would spend the next few weeks being prodded and pinched by his cousin Dudley…he couldn't know that at this very moment, people meeting in secret all over the country were holding up their glasses and saying in hushed voices: 'to Harry Potter – the boy who lived!')

Lily's eyes flashed then turned to her normal green, 'Where's Harry?' She looked around urgently.

'Sirius has him. What did you see?'

'James,' Lily turned to her husband, 'I will explain but I need to know if you will back me up no matter what?'

'Of course I will Lil, what's going on?'

'I'll explain everything soon, follow me,' Lily stood and too her wand out of her sleeve then headed up the stairs.

'Lily?' James called but hurried after her.

'In a minute James.'

James followed his wife into their son's room where Sirius was sitting in the rocking chair in the corner talking to a now awake Harry.

'Sirius, I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but please give Harry to his father.'

'Of course,' Sirius stood and handed Harry over to James, he turned to see Lily pointing her wand at him, 'What is going on?'

'Roll up your sleeves, now?'

Sirius didn't hesitate, he rolled up both his sleeves, 'I'm not a death eater Lily, you know this.'

'Will you allow James to use veritaserum on you?'

'Yes, anything, especially when you must have seen something that is dangerous.'

'James, can you please summon the potion and the antidote?'

'I have no idea what is going on but I know you saw something that needs an answer,' James flicked his wand, a second later two potions landed in his hand, 'Take Harry.'

Lily never moved her eyes or her wand from Sirius but using one arm she took her son, holding him tight to her.

'Okay,' Sirius opened his mouth and allowed three drops of the potion to fall into his mouth.

'He's under Lily.'

'Would you ever betray Harry, James or me?'

'Never.'

'Have you ever given confidential information about us to anyone that could put us in danger?'

'No.'

'Would you give your life for your godson, Harry?'

'Yes.'

'Are you secretly working for you-know-who?'

'No.'

'Okay, James,' Lily sagged then sat in the rocking chair staring at her son, 'How's my boy?'

'Mama.'

'Okay, can you now explain what you saw?'

'Voldemort turns up here when Harry is a little older, older than he is now, but I don't think he is two. I believe it's only a couple of months from now. We die, he tries to kill Harry but the spell rebounds onto him, his body sort of dissolves. Hagrid turns up and takes Harry, takes him to Albus who then leaves Harry on a doorstep, they give Harry to Petunia. It's cold, not winter, but close yet he leaves Harry outside in the night air. Sirius is arrested for killing Peter, some muggles and for betraying us as he was our secret keeper. He is believed to be one of you-know-who's biggest supporters, he doesn't get a trial, they just send him to Azkaban. I had to make sure.'

'You did, don't worry about it Lily,' Sirius said, 'But Petunia, you're magic hating bitch of a sister?'

'Yes, but there's more, they mistreat Harry, hurt him, starve him, lock him in a cupboard. His small for his age, when he arrives at Hogwarts his tiny, he looks like an eight year old instead of eleven, his skinny, they hurt our son James.'

James kneels down in front of his wife, 'No one will hurt our son, he will not go to that bitch. Sirius is in our wills as the one we want to be Harry's guardian if we die. But if they believe his guilty and send him to Azkaban without a trial then we have to work on Harry's guardian then Sirius' proof that he would never betray us.'

'Alice and Frank, um, Amelia, who else?' Lily asked in a shaky voice.

'We can't name Remus, they ministry would refuse. What about Gideon?' James asked.

'Yes, Gideon is nice, Harry likes him.'

'Okay, Albus knows what Petunia is like, you told us what he said when he received the letter from her Lily. Albus knows she calls you a freak, that you're abnormal, that you have not spoken since you left home when you graduated from Hogwarts. Why would he give a magical baby to magic hating people, to muggles at all? But to someone you don't like or have anything to do with? It doesn't make sense,' Sirius said.

'Then we will find out, we tell no one about this. We re-do our wills, make sure the other names are in there, then we work on them knowing they have been named as guardians, after Sirius. We place charms on our wills which will prevent Harry being taken to anyone that we never named. We only tell those that we name so no one can deliberately target them.'

'Siri.'

'Hey pup, do you want Siri?'

'Pad.'

James and Sirius laughed, Lily smiled, 'Alright, you can go to Sirius, Padfoot later, it's nearly dinner time.'

'It's past dinner time Lil, Harry fell asleep before I could get him something to eat. You were under for a long time,' James said.

'Then I make something easy and quick. I'm sorry Sirius, I didn't want to believe you would ever do anything that could hurt Harry or James.'

'Or you, I would never hurt any of you, you're my family Lil. Let's just prepare so none of it happens, that's what these visions are for so we can make sure they don't happen.'

Lily nodded then followed Sirius who was holding her son down the stairs, her husband beside her.

'No cooking, I'll dart out and get us some Chinese, you stay with Harry, Sirius will stay with both of you.'

'Thank you,' Lily gave her husband a kiss then sat in the living room watching her son playing peek a boo with his godfather, 'He really loves you Sirius.'

'Just as I love him Lily.'

'You could settle down and have kids of your own, you would make a great father.'

'One day, right now I just can't see myself settling down with one bloke.'

'Maybe you won't until you meet the right man and when you do, you'll still fight it. You like your bachelor lifestyle too much.'

'True, but I do want what you and James have, just not yet. I know Harry wasn't planned, you were both going to wait in the hope Voldemort could be stopped. It makes you think about the danger more knowing you have this little one counting on you.'

'It does, it's also why I'm taking the potion so I can't fall pregnant again. I don't want Harry and his siblings to have a big age gap but it's just too dangerous. I want out of the order Sirius, I want all of us out, especially now that Albus would leave Harry with my sister. Her husband is just as bad, worse actually, he gets violent, I saw the bruises on Petunia at our father's funeral.'

'Did you see him hurt Harry?'

Lily shook her head, 'It mainly centred around that night and being in a cupboard, he was always hungry. I saw the odd slap around the head by Petunia before Vernon would throw in him the cupboard. Even if they think we're all strange, freaks, how could they treat a child like that, whether it was family or not?'

'I don't know, but I see it Lily, you know James and I have worked child abuse cases. Most don't seem to care or even realise what they did was wrong, some were just plan evil. I give my oath that Harry will never go through anything like that, no one will lay a hand on him, unless it's with love and affection.'

'I know you would protect him Sirius, he knows it too,' Lily smiled as she watched her son play with Sirius's long hair, 'Don't let him chew it Sirius?'

'He's fascinated with my hair, I have no idea why.'

'Pad.'

'there, he just told you, it's Padfoot's hair he wants.'

'Alright, just for a few minutes until your daddy gets back,' Sirius grinned, sat Harry in front of his mother then transformed into Padfoot, he barked making Harry giggle.

'Alright my sweet boy, go play with Padfoot,' Lily stood Harry on shaky legs, then watched as her son walked the couple of steps to Padfoot who was sitting staring at him, but to Lily it looked like the big black dog was grinning.

Lily laughed as Harry wrapped his little arms around Padfoot's neck, cuddling the big dog. Sirius could look frightening in his animagus form, but when he was with Harry, he acted like a big puppy. Even though she enjoyed watching her son play with Padfoot, she could not get the visions out of her head and she was determined to stop it coming true, to stop it all coming true. She began making plans and hoped James would go along with what she was planning.

It was a week later that James and Sirius stepped into the house to see Albus Dumbledore sitting at the table with Lily. They could tell instantly that something was wrong, Lily was tense, but she shook her head at the two men when Albus turned to face them.

'What brings you here Albus?' James asked after he kisses his wife and son.

'Just checking in on everyone James, I've been doing that the last couple of days. He is stepping up his campaign, more people are disappearing or killed. Now you are home, I will head out to see how the McKinnon's are.'

James, Sirius and Lily waited until Albus left, Lily instantly did a few charms, 'He wants the name of your source, he said there is information he needs. He's acting strange James, I just can't work it out.'

'Do you want to try and see something?'

'Yes, but after dinner and Harry is asleep. Harry acted strange with Albus as well, wouldn't smile at him, wouldn't move off my lap the whole time and just clung to me.'

'They say children can sense things, maybe he's just picking up on how stressed Albus is about the war,' Sirius said, 'Come to Siri.'

'Pad,' Harry held his arms up making James and Lily laugh.

'Padfoot later, Siri now,' Sirius went into the living room with Harry they both sat on the rug.

'James, even if I don't see something, can we please leave? Something doesn't feel right.'

'Alright, we'll leave, we have many places to choose from.'

'I don't care, as long as no one knows where we're going, but it can't be in this country. I just know we're in more danger than just Voldemort.'

James and Sirius glanced at each other, they knew if Lily was feeling this then it was serious. It was time to protect themselves and leave the war to those who should have stopped it getting this far.

James had called the Potter house elves to pack, then take everything to their beach house on the island. It was time to get away from England, but it was also time to use the place they had bought that only James, Lily and Sirius knew about. Sirius and James bought it the moment they turned seventeen, then James took Lily there the moment they finished Hogwarts. They loved the island and it was so far from England they felt no one would find them. They originally bought it as a get away, now it was going to be their home and hide out.

After they finished eating, James organised portkeys. They sent three house elves to delivery three letters. One went to Amelia Bones, one went to Remus Lupin and one went to Albus Dumbledore. Once they were done, Lily and Harry vanished from the cottage, James got a nod from Sirius then both men sealed the house before they activated their portkeys.

It would be the last time for many years that anyone would see the Potter family or Sirius Black. But during these years, Lily continued to have her visions, not as many, enough to make sure her family was safe. But with another vision she had been able to get James and Sirius to help her good friends, Frank and Alice and their son, Neville. They had also left England, to hide out in another country, one that would keep them safe and away from the war and Voldemort.

Albus Dumbledore was furious, all his plans had fallen through when the Potters left and the people were yelling for him to save them. He thought his fake prophecy had James and Lily Potter convinced, something or someone had given the Potters information which made them leave. They did not tell anyone who was close to them where they were going or if they would return. Albus knew this source James and Sirius had must have found out something. He just didn't know who the source was and he hoped no one, including the source found out about his plans. If they returned, then his plans were still in place but only if they return before Harry turned seventeen. If they didn't, he had no idea what to do. Albus knew he would not survive a fight with Voldemort. He's age might be an advantage in one way, he knew more magic that wasn't known by others. But his age also meant he was slowing down. If he had to fight Voldemort, Albus doubted he would last more than twenty or thirty minutes. He had been hoping to get Harry trained so Harry could weaken Voldemort then Albus could finish him off, now the Potter's had disappeared and he had no idea what to do.

Over the following couple of years, James, Sirius and Lily raised Harry and they only kept in contact with Frank and Alice. They saw each other occasionally, just to see each other and allow the boys to stay close. They would exchange information on what they knew or heard.

It was when the boys turned six that Sirius was contacted by his old friend, Remus Lupin. It seems he found out about the prophecy, the one about a boy who was born at the end of July. Sirius got suspicious when Remus wanted to know where Harry was and if they planned to return. He said if the prophecy meant Harry then he would need to return to fulfil it. Sirius lied, he said when James and Lily left with Harry they did not tell him where they went, it was for Harry's safety. Sirius was used to lying, so he made sure his old friend believed him. They said their goodbyes, Sirius apparated away, but he didn't go straight to the island. Sirius went to see his uncle, who was old and in the last years of his life. But while he was there, he cast many charms over himself and found two tracking charms. He removed them and placed them on some foxes, he then cast more spells, these were basically dark art spells, but would stop another tracking charm being attached to him.

Sirius wrote to Frank and Alice, sent that on before he finally took his portkey to the island. He saw Lily in the water with Harry and two year old Rose. Lily had taught Harry how to swim from the moment they got to the island, now Harry could easily get himself out of trouble, he could also use magic to keep himself safe. Now that Rose was two, she began to teach her as well, not just to swim but also magic. The island was private, there were no laws, so Harry and Rose could use as much magic as he wanted. With the war in England and the prophecy, James, Lily and Sirius were going to make sure Harry and Rose could protect themselves, but they would keep them safe and hidden until they was older. By then they would be able to hold his own, against anyone.

'So, Remus was acting strange and actually wanted us to return so a six year old boy could face Voldemort and try to destroy him,' James said as he stared down at his wife and children, but he stared at his son.

'Yes, I could see it in his stance, he was nervous, but trying to act like he normally would, friendly. He wanted to see you, Lily and Harry, he really pushed to be able to visit. Also, I found tracking charms on me after he left. I went to visit Uncle Alphiard, found the charms, removed them and placed them on a couple of foxes that are always around Alphiard's place. Then I used some old Black spells to make sure no more can be placed on me. But he also mentioned Neville, so I sent a letter off to them, to make sure they stay away. I don't know Prongs, he was off but he wasn't under any type of magic, none that I know of anyway. I just can't believe he actually wanted you to put Harry in danger by facing Voldemort.'

'He always admired Dumbledore and it was the old man that told us about the prophecy. Even though Lily and I don't believe in most seers, we know they are real and we've seen the gift Lily has. But when Dumbledore refuse to show us his memory of this so-called prophecy, that's when I became suspicious.'

'He knows you are trained to see memories that has been tampered with.'

'Yes, he does, I used to do it for all memories that was going to be used in trials. That's why I believe he lied. There isn't a prophecy or there is but it's not about Harry. With Remus though, Albus is an alchemist, he could easily invent a potion that could make someone loyal to him or like the imperius curse. That would be impossible to find out though. Well, we continue as we have been Sirius. If Lily and I go anywhere, you're with Harry and Rose. If anything happens to us, you know what to do.'

'I do and the same if something happens to me. If Remus is working for Dumbledore and it's not for us, whether he's under some potion or spell, it doesn't matter, I don't plan on seeing him again. Next time they might just take me in the hope you will try to rescue me. Remus believed me when I said for safety I wasn't told where you were. I know we have no idea if they are working against us or not, we just can't take the chance they are. Harry is safe here, he is becoming powerful. Maybe that's it James, maybe the old man knows something about Harry's power.'

'He saw Harry do magic from a week old, that is rare. Most children are usually a year at the earliest and that's usually the ones that turn out to be powerful. But some of those magical outburst that Lily had when she was pregnant might have actually been Harry, not Lily. You could be right Sirius, maybe it's to do with Harry's power. But he's still a little boy, so even if he had the power right now to defeat Voldemort, I would not allow it. He deserves to be able to be normal, play and have fun. I know the kids are isolated, but it's safer.'

'It is and we'll keep them safe. Maybe we could get Frank and Alice here with their kids. This place is big enough to put up another house. Or if they don't want to live here then they could visit. No one knows where they are, just like us, we made sure no one could find us.'

'We did and I think they should come here but also hear about what happened with Remus.'

It was only a month after Sirius spoke with Remus Lupin that Frank and Alice Longbottom along with their two children arrived on the island using the emergency portkey that James had given them. They told the story of how franks uncle tried to take Neville and kept saying he had to go to Dumbledore. Alice stunned the man while Frank levitated Neville to him as the man fell. They packed up instantly but they had a lot of stuffed packed since they were never sure if they were going to remain where they were. They first went into a muggle city, checked for tracking charms and found many. There were two on each of them along with on many of the toys in the house.

Lily got some rooms ready while James and Sirius explained to Frank about building the other house, if they wanted to remain. Frank instantly said they wanted to, they wanted their children safe. They had no idea why Albus Dumbledore wanted their kids, apart from the prophecy, which they all now believed to be a fake. They just didn't know why Albus would make a fake prophecy that involved Harry and Neville.

Alice hurried down the stairs, 'Lily's having a vision,' she said.

James nodded to Sirius, which was to tell him to watch the kids while he stayed with his wife.

Sirius, Frank and Alice kept the children entertained for the next hour. James and Lily walked down the stairs. The adults knew they could not talk, not until the children were asleep.

After dinner, Alice and Lily bathed the children then read them some stories before tucking them in. They waited until the four children were asleep before they left the room. Lily activated the security wards she had invented around the children's rooms. Only then did they join the men downstairs.

'Albus faked the prophecy so he would have someone who everyone will believe had to kill Voldemort. He is slowly dying, he's older than he let on. He knew he would not survive another fight against Voldemort so he decided to create a person who Voldemort would concentrate on. The boy would fight him, weaken him then Albus would finish him off. The boy would die and that's when Albus would kill Voldemort.'

'Well, we all believed it was fake. Now we just have to keep the kids safe until Albus dies,' Frank said.

'And with Lily's seer ability, we'll know if anything was going to happen before it does,' Alice said.

'With the five of us protecting the kids, they will be safe but also have normal lives as they grow. We'll work on the other house tomorrow.' James said.

'There's more. Albus worked it for Severus to overhear the first part of the prophecy when the seer was making it. Albus set that up. But Severus is a death eater so he takes that to Voldemort then Severus finds out it means Harry or Neville. He goes to Dumbledore so he could help protect...well, me, then all of us. Albus planned this so he would have a spy. Severus was going to be used once Harry and Neville got old enough to attend Hogwarts. He would be the potions master who would harass our sons, he's even cruel to them. He tells them they will go the same way as us. Severus is and always will be Voldemort's spy. He plans to use his position to get Harry and Neville to Voldemort. They don't know that Albus faked the prophecy,' Lily said.

'They will not be going to Hogwarts at all. Their education will be done here with us teaching them. We will only return once Albus is dead, then I will make sure Snape is locked up, or dead,' James said.

'We both will Prongs. But now we have to worry about Snape on top of Voldemort and Albus.' Sirius said.

'It's time to put the entire island under the fidelius charm. With the five of us, we can easily do it,' James said.

'Then we do that tomorrow before we work on the house,' Frank said.

Harry, Rose, Neville and Amelia were sitting on the sand not far from Lily and Frank. Alice, Sirius and James were at other parts of the island. The moment they were ready to cast the charm, Lily asked Harry and Neville to keep the girls safe and away from the water until they finished.

It took an hour which exhausted the five adults but the fidelius charm was done. They all took a pepper up potion before they sat under the shade of the tree. They could rest but also watch the children.

'No one could ever get past Lily's occlumency shields so making her the secret keeper will guarantee our children are safe,' Alice said.

'It will keep us all safe,' James said, 'Lily gave me an idea about how we can go to the mainland without worrying about being spotted and it's got nothing to do with magic.'

'So it's a muggle idea?' Sirius asked.

'Yes, simple things like dying our hair using muggle hair dye. Also, you can get contact lenses that are in different colours but they are clear so you don't have to wear glasses to get them. The ones that don't wear glasses can get a pair that will have clear glass. Also, things like muggle clothes as well as jeans and t-shirts. Even James has never worn jeans and a t-shirt. We make sure to get them with muggle bands. Now we all know how most pure-bloods can't really dress properly to go into the muggle world. We would spot them easily. Only the oldest and most trained aurors get it right along with anyone involved in the muggle world,' Lily said.

'So we use polyjuice potion to buy what we need and make an appointment with the muggle eye specialist for me, yet we get glasses for you lot, or at least some of you,' James said.

The adults spoke for the next hour discussing all different ways to make themselves look different. They also wanted to work on ways to change the children so they could go to other places and not be isolated on the island.

It took Lily with one of the others with her, five different visits before they got everything they need. James now wore contact lenses, but he planned to only use them when he left the island. Sirius got rid of his goatee and he had some fake glasses, along with his hair dyed, cut and styled. He put on some jeans and a led zeppelin t-shirt. You would never guess it was a wizard or see Sirius Black.

Frank did the same, so now no one would see Frank Longbottom. Alice just changed her hair colour and had it cut short. She always wore it long and it was always a sandy blond. Now she had dark hair that was short. Lily didn't cut her hair but she was now a blond. She did get some coloured contacts for when she left the island, mainly because her eyes were an unusual shade of green.

From the time the five adults and the four children made some changes to their looks, they began to leave the island for day trips. They either visited countries close by or they made a portkey while on the island. The children were finally seeing more of the world but also learning some history of the places they visited.

It was when Lily and Alice fell pregnant for the third time that Sirius brought them some good news.

'We don't have to worry about Voldemort or his death eaters anymore. Some muggle detective shot Voldemort in the head when he went to attack the guards outside Buckingham palace. The moment he died, every marked death eater died.'

'We speculated about that. How he might use the dark mark in other ways. It seems he linked their life force to him,' Frank said but he couldn't help smiling as he watched the adults as they all grinned but also sagged in relief, 'Did you hear anything about Albus?'

'Yes, he is now confined to the private room at Hogwarts. At first, he kept arguing until Minerva made Poppy use her authority as a healer. He either was restricted to the hospital or he would be locked in St Mungo's. Oh and he refuses to believe Voldemort is dead. He keeps saying it has to be either Harry or Neville. I did a bit of spying and well, breaking and entering. There is a prophecy with Voldemort's name on it and a question mark. I stayed hidden under James' cloak when the unspeakables came in. They listened to it the moment they heard Voldemort had died. I could only hear a bit as I couldn't be too close but it does mention the only person who could kill Voldemort would be born at the end of July. What surprised me and the unspeakables, it clearly said that it would be a muggle,' Sirius said.

'Albus didn't want a muggle to be seen as a hero of the wizarding world,' Alice said.

'He might have always gone on about muggleborns being equal, but he never actually helped them work in the ministry, nor did he stop the bigotry at Hogwarts,' Lily said.

'He had no idea just how advanced the muggles are now, I doubt he would have believed it even if we told him,' James said.

'So,' Sirius looked at the others, 'what do we do now?'

'We live our lives any way we want,' Frank said.

'We could leave, we could stay but at least now we know our children will be safe and not hunted by either Voldemort or Albus,' Alice said.

'Let's take some time. We basically use this time to relax and treat this as a holiday while we decide what to do. We could even make some visits to England to find out what it's like there now and if our home country will end up our home again or we work on somewhere else. Either way, we can take our time and do what we want,' Lily said.

'I agree with Lily. We take our time,' Sirius said, 'But maybe now I might be able to take the chance to find some cute bloke to shag.

That made the other four adults laugh but they also laughed because the danger that had plagued them for years was finally over. They all could get the lives they wanted.

The end:
