Chapter 26
They returned home from the festival.
It's been a strange tradition for Sukuna, when he returns, Chusi keeps him outside for a moment, and she does a dance. He remembered this dance from when they were growing up, in fact it's a form of a technique he had seen. One Satoru Gojo himself used when they fought during the culling games. Solo-solo prohibition zone.
However, this dance does nothing, at least, he thinks it does.
Chusi did this dance every night ever since she returned, before going to sleep, she would dance without music or interments, why? He didn't know, he hasn't brought up a reason to ask her this.
But, he enjoys watching her.
When she finished, she turned and smiled to him. "Do you like it?" she asked.
He smiled. "You always were the best dancer." He said with great admiration.
With the day's event done, Sukuna sighed aloud as he tried to make sense of all of this. Chusi is having him do these tasks with the curse wombs for a reason, but, what was that reason?
"We are going to meet up with the curse wombs tomorrow and meet Lady Tiamat on her plan. We will offer our insight to this as well, okay?" she asked.
He paused oddly. "Why are we getting involved? I can't do anything to assist them!" he protested.
"You always have a good perspective on things, Ryomen, just because you don't have curse energy means you are not useful," she said gently.
He gave in once more, after all, he can't argue against her. Chusi is showing how much faith she has in him. Despite not having curse energy like he use to, she still believes he can be of help, somehow.

The next morning.
He listened in.
Lady Tiamat came after breakfast and brought the curse wombs to a meeting area. Despite the fact this meeting should have taken places ages ago. It kept getting pushed back. Depriving the curse wombs a week to assess their situation and know the details as to what is happening. The brat and knockoff are looking after their sisters as this meeting occurs.
"The battle of auras, as difficult as it sounds, it's very simple to explain." She said. "Every living thing has an aura, and not all of them are the same nor do they match who they belong to. Which is why I proposed this challenge."
"So, how do we fight using auras?" Junpei asked.
"What we need to do is figure out how to harmonize you all so you are a collective energy. If we can find a way to do that, we are able to show the dragons that you are worthy of my daughters. To them, power is everything. Physical power, mental power, spiritual power. These cannot be disputed, and since we are aware that a dragon will be stronger physically and mentally, I went with the one I know you all could achieve as well as win with, along with proper backup." She explained.
Yet, why did her eyes shift to him?
Sukuna was taken aback by the sudden look, but didn't speak out against it.
"My daughters have said you fell into sync spiritually with each other once before, and it was powerful… even I felt it." Lady Tiamat explained.
The brothers appeared confused, until Choso's eyes widened. "The concert… when Toshi went on stage the first time!" he decreed.
They soon realized they had a method. "Can we do that again? Is that even possible? I mean, that was just magic when it happened the first time," Noranso asked.
"We have to try it again, we have to get it right. We only sang that song once. So we should be able to do it again, after all, we are in sync, we are going to defend our families!" called Sho.
The brothers nodded in agreement.
"Sukuna," Lady Tiamat stated.
He peered over.
"I want you to try and assist them."
Suddenly, he was confused. "Do you intend on returning my power?" he asked bluntly.
She smiled and shook her head. "No, we made a deal and I no longer have the ability to bring back your power, for it returned to the source. I ask that you help the brothers however you can, and I know you are smart enough to think of something. Your wife has been assisting you in that, has she not?"
Chusi… hasn't really taught him anything!
She's been forcing him to go along with the brothers on various things, but he learned nothing of power! How could she assume he could help them?
"I'll try," he muttered. Since, after all, he cannot refuse her.
"Good, now, I suggest you all prepare and practice you synergy. You need to increase your output. I will be arranging the location of the battle. I wish you all good luck."
She vanished shortly after, but suddenly, the brothers all stared at him oddly.
"What?!" he demanded.
"She wants you to help us? How can you help us?" Junpei demanded.
"I don't know either!" he snapped back. "You think I have the right to refuse her otherwise?"
The brothers were silent. "He has a point," said Junpei. "But still, she believes you can help us… She hasn't been wrong yet."
Sukuna sneered at the notion. "If what I am to understand about this is that you are going to be confronted by the dragons who want to take your wives as their own and destroy your offspring. As such you need to demonstrate your spiritual power that lady Tiamat has decided on you battling with. What isn't being considered is this, how many are you up against? As well, she mentioned that I can help you in some form, meaning we can bring in others who are not dragons into this, correct?" he asked.
"She never did say anything about not bringing in others to help. But it's a given that anyone who is a dragon on this end cannot help us since it's not their wives they are after." Said Noranso.
"Then we speak with Chusi, spiritual energy resonates from the soul. She is your best bet at this point to create a plan."
The brothers agreed.
