The lights turned on as the camera whirred across an elaborately sized theater. A camera zoomed across the audience and showed the cheering members populated occasionally with mutants and animals alike. A lone spotlight shone on a solitary figure while the music stirred to life. "WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE TOTAL DRAMA REVENGE OF THE ISLAND REUNION! We'll speak to our contestants about the game, their awards, introduce the new season, and answer questions from you all! THE FANS!"

A video montage started with a giant explosion on screen. "Eighteen campers from different backgrounds signed up for the prize of their life! Some were paranoid, some were absent minded, some were egotistical, and all were dramatic! One after the other, we saw them blown up, thrown away, and catapulted OUT OF SIGHT as vote after vote sent them away from the final grand prize. AND HERE THEY ARE NOW!"

The cast was scattered on staggered couches and seats with the first eliminated on the back row all the way up to the first winner. "Endless Chatterbox Staci, Harmless Villain Max, Klutzy Athlete Tyler, Spicy Mamacita Carmen, Creepily Devoted Sierra, Hopeless Optimist Jaiden, Eerie Hippie Dawn, Silent Smart Guy B, Duplicitous Dealer Carson, Lovable Coward DJ, Gloomy Goth Gwen, Alpha Jockette Jo, Sternly Hardheaded Quentin, Rotund Drifter Owen, Extreme Athlete Lightning, Shifty Gamer Violet, Flighty Planner Mike, AND Lovable Lamebrain Lindsay!" Each camper turned to the crowd with varying levels of enthusiasm and received varying amounts of applause.

"This season was a lot of fun, and the watchers and readers certainly had their fair share of enjoyment watching this entire season play out. We're going to start off with questions that EVERYONE has been asking. What are you doing now? And we'll start with our winner," Chris smiled.

A camera just staged right focused on Lindsay and her beaming face was on display on the big screen behind the campers.

"Alright Lindsay you gotta tell us, how does it feel to be the second winner of Total Drama?" Chris asked the blonde bombshell.

"It feels amazing Chris! I came onto this show to really prove myself, and I ended up getting smarter, winning a million dollars, and meeting a cute boy," Lindsay explained, shooting a wink to Tyler. "I also got to show my fashion skills many times, my cooking skills, my driving skills, and all the determination and willpower in making it to the end."

"Well that brings me to Mike, how does it feel taking home this year's silver medal?" Chris asked briefly.

"I outlasted sixteen others and lost to someone who also grew and played a good game," Mike said placidly. He twitched uncomfortably for a moment before he regained his composure. "I have a newfound understanding of myself and others. I came out with friends who do accept me. And now I'm closer to accepting myself."

"Ah that's a concept," Chris smiled. "I genuinely wish no ill hate towards you or anyone else here. Dead serious, Mister Milton has incorporated the services as necessary for your usage. That goes for everyone here…. Dakota… the disclaimer."

Dakota looked in from the side with a clipboard in her hand as she turned to the camera with a surprisingly stern face. "The Drama Network does not condone nor promote the harassment of individuals who participate, willing or unwilling, with their time and presence, on any show affiliated with the Drama Network including subsidiaries and syndicated rights."

"Ah, then our bronze medalist, Violet," Chris continued. "I hope the hate hasn't been too hard."

"It's whatever," Violet sighed. "I'm lucky that Mike forgave me, even though I didn't necessarily expect it. I guess I just went overboard and that spurred too many people to go overboard. Hopefully I didn't screw up the meta or cause some negative stir."

"For what it's worth the hate was unwarranted. It's just a facet of public life," Chris sympathetically mentioned. "But we're on a schedule and we have more and more people to talk to and about. So, how could Mike have won you guys over? Specifically the four of you that voted for Lindsay." Chris asked the jury.

"I think for me, he would have had to be sitting at the end with either Owen or Lightning. And based on how I know the jury loved Lightning, I think he would have had to vote out Lightning at final five, Lindsay at final four and then win the final challenge and eliminate Violet," Quentin explained.

"What about against Lindsay?"

"I don't think he had a shot at Quentin or Owen's votes. But for me I think if he explained better how his social game got himself into the power positions then I would have felt more apt to vote for him, since to me it felt like he got really lucky to be in those spots," DJ explained.

"I just had a better relationship with Lindsay, and I had to rationalize it someway," Violet shrugged.

"Yeah… as far as the final ceremony goes, I don't think I would have done much differently. But I do have to agree with Quentin, if I was going to betray Lightning anyways, I should have just done it and kept Owen in the game. Nothing against you big fella," Mike exclaimed.

"None taken," Owen replied with a big smile.

"Honestly Mike, you're a cool guy, but you made a BIG mistake voting me out. Had you done that and been dragged to the end, ya know I wouldn't have voted for you," Lightning bluntly said. "But you fixed it and I voted for you. Good job bro."

"Strangely reassuring,: Mike commented.

"If I may chime in," Carson spoke up. "I would have voted for Mike. I know Lindsay was on my team longer and helped me try to vote out Sierra at first…yeah I'm still apologizing…but Mike was a little more of an underdog so I would have voted for him."

"Easy for you to say," Tyler shouted. "Obviously I would have voted for the beautiful Lindsay, and I know I'm not alone because B would have done the same."

The camera shifted focus to B, who nodded.

"My great great great aunt Persephone invented the name Underdog, before her they were called subcats. And I would have voted for Mike," Staci added.

"Actually I would have gone for Lindsay," Sierra said. "Sorry Carson but that's where we differ. It's romantic isn't it? The girl who lost her love goes on to win it all? That's amazing."

"Ignoring that," Jaiden tactfully interrupted Sierra. "Lightning and I both regret not voting for Lindsay the night I went home…so… honestly I would have gone for Lindsay just because she got me and the Rats' guard down."

"But Mike's aura has truly grown into his space. Friendship or no, I loved seeing Mike's growth through the game, and he deserved the win, so I would have voted for him," Dawn contributed.

"Mike was hot and he survived to the end game. It's simple, and Vito was a good kisser, entonces por que no Mikey?" Carmen shrugged.

"Eh, Mike's more evil, I'll give him a pity vote," Max explained.

"So…a REALLY SPLIT jury this time," Chris contributed. "And for that matter a split that goes through so many of the non-jury. We did poll the Island cast. And hoo boy they were split too, and as a matter of fact, the pre-jury Islanders thought that Mike would win while the post jury islanders thought that Lindsay would win in different scenarios. And worth noting, Leshawna picked Lindsay to win!"

"But we have to move on, this season had no shortage of crushes, romances, and flings. Did any of them go through the end? Well, let's start with the top and work our way down," Chris said as a montage of several of the attractions each of the campers felt ran through on the screen behind them. "Lindsay was the first person involved with a showmance to make it to the very end, but it seemed like she was separated from her partner the longest."

"Well, we made up time after the show," Lindsay said with a smile. "Turns out my own Tyler and I live in the same province so getting together was a LOT easier. But it was still an eight hour drive so I thought the first time I'd see him would be on me and Paula's cross country trip all around Canada."

"And how was the trip?" Chris asked.

"It was SUCH a good two week trip and Tyler got to join us for a good four days until we ended up in Niagara falls to visit Quentin. Tyler and I got to see so many cool things and we learned so much more about her."

"And what did you learn?"

"Tyler has really strong fingers," Lindsay perkily said

"I don't know why," Tyler said. "But Lindsay has a keen eye for the beauty in nature so we went to this cliff spot near Winnipeg and she almost lost her beautiful blue bandana. I was grabbing onto this cliff, like two centimeters, while the wind was biting, and I grabbed it. She said I was her hero."

"You always are my hero, and a hero with strong fingers," Lindsay smiled as the two leaned in for a kiss.

"Well it seems like Lindsay and Tyler are still getting along, but what about the other couples that started but didn't really get off the ground? Gwen, you started this competition not wanting to do anything with anyone, but despite that, B managed to knock you over with his boat, save you from falling, impressed you with his planning skills, but ultimately didn't make it with you to the merge. What's the status of you and B?"

"...Was it that obvious?" Gwen sighed. "I could have fallen for much, much worse guys, and you know what, I'm glad B and I got to develop something of a friendship despite our quick separation. B and I exchanged socials like everyone else did and we just started talking in a bit of a private chat. He's a really eloquent writer."

Chris had the camera turn to B who smiled a warm smile as he glanced towards Gwen. "Looks like it's still going strong. B have you made the drive to see Gwen in her hometown? I know it's a bit of a drive."

B held up two fingers with a satisfied nod. "Twice? Come on B, you're talking about a teenage Relationship. Can't you say anything about it that gives us more to talk about?"

The silent genius and Gwen shared a glance as B sighed. The camera zoomed in on him as he felt the watchful eyes of others pressure him.

"Actions speak louder than words," B finally spoke, his voice a humble but deep voice that hardly strained. Many of the cast looked at the usually silent genius with a shocked face.

"That's all you have to say?" Chris asked.

B shrugged as Gwen interrupted. "He sent me a beautiful clock with all the bells and whistles that is themed to art," Gwen explained. "My mom took me and my brothers on a trip to Montreal so B and his family were able to meet us halfway. I met his sister and his brother and his dad and mom and they were all nice and they got along well with my family. Things are going great."

"Hmm, a good turn out for the couples… but I think there was one more successful couple this season that unfortunately wound up on opposite ends, even though they were on the same team! Jaiden and Lightning, the little birdies have told us that you've finally started something?"

"Haha, yeah!" Lightning triumphantly boasted. "Sha-Lightning's got a wonderful girlfriend."

"And…well Jaiden's got an equally amazing boyfriend," Jaiden smiled. The camera zoomed out to reveal that the two of them were holding hands each adorned with matching bracelets. "Call it cheesy but when Lightning's dad had a game in Regina and Lightning invited me… I couldn't say no."

"Sha-yeah you couldn't," Lightning scoffed. "My parents got a deal for you and your family to stay down for three days and from what you say your grandpa was ranting the entire ride over. I hope it was worth it, Lightning's dad took home the gold, and Lightning got three days with a special girl."

"Wow…you two really are sweet, it's almost…sickening," Chris snarked.

"You know what was sickening? That vegetarian place we went to for lunch," LIghtning interrupted. "If you're gonna serve the LIghtning food, it better have some good protein, and no soft tofu. That was disgusting."

"Oh Lightning it wasn't that bad, you enjoyed their protein shake… and besides, our parents let us have a table on our own. Besides, I got some really great photos and things to write about for my blog. And my parents said next time we can go to Hamilton to see you rather than the other way around."

"Sha yeah!" Lightning cheered as he and Jaiden laughed in each other's grasp.

"You know, you'd forget that you two actually voted each other out," Chris interjected.

"..hey our hands were forced. Gwen and Lindsay wanted me out," Lightning started.

"And for some reason Quentin and DJ wanted me out," Jaiden continued. "What were we supposed to do when our team was split like that?"

"Form a third party!" Carmen shouted from another couch.

"What would have that done? The Americans down south got messed up with it and our two votes wouldn't have-"

"The two of you could have voted for Lindsay," Gwen said offhandedly.

"You know what…" Lightning trailed. "What would have happened in a three person tie breaker? Assuming we sha-voted for Lindsay."

"Then Lindsay would have gone in," Chris shrugged. "Three people on three balance beams and the Maggots would have shot someone."

"Then I would have shot Lindsay," Jo clarified.

"And I'd be more eager to do so," Mike agreed.

"So based on the numbers…."

"LINDSAY COULD HAVE GONE HOME?!" Jaiden and Lightning shouted.

"I think that makes sense…" Lindsay realized.

"Wow…. too blinded with each other that you didn't focus on Lindsay…that's tragic… and hilarious! But speaking of tragedy," Chris said with a bit of a snort. The camera shifted to Quentin and DJ both on a rather small sofa "Quentin's crush on DJ might have started when they were roommates, or maybe when they were teammates, or even after the swap, but DJ was flying straight as an arrow. And it was Quentin's crush that spiraled into DJ's blindside. All that said, Quentin, am I wrong at all?"

"No…" Quentin scratched the back of his head. "I'm usually better at being more appropriate with my feelings but can I blame the radiation on the stupid island?"

Several rumbles came from the audience as Quentin again sighed. "We weren't in a relationship and we didn't even talk about people we'd date…so I'm not sure why the two of us are here," DJ elaborated.

"So besides the sexuality thing… What would allow you to date Quentin?" Chris asked DJ.

DJ raised his eyebrow as he started to think. "You don't have to-"

"He could be more open with his emotions," DJ mentioned. "A little less strict on the plan I suppose."

Quentin sighed. "That's why I tried to be stoic, avoid the emotions that clouded the game and eliminated you. I prefer to keep them to myself since, well weakness isn't something I like showing and affection like that in a game won't be good. Had we just stuck to the plan to get rid of a Maggot we all would have been sitting pretty in the final five."

"Why do you think we would have all been in the final five?" Lightning asked. "You were gonna get Lindsay closer to the end as your little towel girl."

"Hey, is that any different than what Jo was going to do to you? Or what you were going to do to Jo?"

"Hah," Jo shouted. "As if I needed anyone to carry me to the end."

"You definitely needed the swap. DJ and I were going to vote for you if we made it to elimination before we swapped!" Jaiden shouted.

"Sha-what?" Lightning asked, momentarily sliding from Jaiden. "I get that you didn't vote with me for Carmen but-"

"Ella es una mujer fuerte!" Carmen shouted. "She could have made her own decision. I'm just surprised that the olympian didn't go sooner."

"I didn't go sooner because I played the game mas better que you!" Jo snapped at Carmen.

"Come on, we don't need to be shouting," DJ held up a placating hand.

"DJ, she screwed you over and roped in Mike and Owen, probably manipulating Owen with some fattening sweet," Quentin snarked.

"Hey I made my decision!" Mike said. "And I'm not going back on that! It was a smart thing."

"Is that because you thought of it or because Jo and Lightning pressured you into that?!" Quentin snapped.

The argument between the Rats grew to another fervor. Owen opened his mouth to defend himself but Violet slammed his hand over his mouth, shaking her head. Amidst the argument the main talking point was another rehash of the Jo and Quentin feud and how it affected much of the development. Poor DJ barely could get a word in as the argument raged on.

"Well, I guess we don't need to know much more about the couples," Chris said as the argument died down. "Unless something spicy has happened between Carmen and Mike or rather.. Carmen and Vito."

"Yeah well," Carmen said as she glanced at Mike. "Vito sent me a message, but it was in Italian. Lo poco que pude traducir was lovely. But well, there's other fish in the sea, Vito was an amazing kisser, if Mike picked up any of those skills he'd find someone lovely."

Mike nodded as the camera turned to him. "Carmen and I are just friends honestly, and well, I've got another job to focus on that I'm very happy with. Carmen's got a charm that others would be idiots to cheat on."

"YOU HEAR THAT DON?!" Carmen shouted, finally breaking up the argument between the rats. "COME PUTO Y MORIR!"

"For what it's worth my aunt Mayla makes good puto," Mike said awkwardly. "I gave some to Lindsay when she and Tyler visited and they liked it. But from what I hear Lidnsay's recreation…"

Carmen let out a pretty loud snort. "And…Carmen made me aware of what Puto is in her native language. Growing up Filipino is-"

"You're filipino?" Jaiden asked.

"Yeah, Chester was harassing me before the show and said I was only there to fill the Asian quota. After Heather, Dave, and Noah from last season I thought I'd do just as good as anyone. Second place is good and I enjoyed as far as I got," Mike let out an awkward chuckle. "I'm a quarter Italian on my dad's side since Grandpa was full italian."

"Interesting look, well, I guess that's all we have to say on the couples," Chris said. He put his finger to his earpiece and listened in. "Ah… that's an unorthodox question… but Carson. How's Ryan?"

"Ryan?" Carson raised an eyebrow. "I mean we still hang out. He roasts me everyday about the season. Not much more to say other than that."

"Well, we did want some clarification. Are you and Ryan dating?" Chris asked.

Carson looked into the audience to see a wooly beaver, holding up a Ryan x Dakota sign high above the audience. "NO!" Carson frantically shook his head. "I'M SINGLE AND NOT LOOKING FOR ANYONE IN THE REALITY TV CIRCUIT!"

"So how does that feel, Sierra?" Chris asked.

"It is how it is," Sierra sighed. "And I can vouch for Carson being single. No one in his high school sphere has been spotted with him in a romantic context. There are a lot of cute people out there… but Carson is one of a kind and any girl is going to be lucky to have him… one of these days I wish that were me."

"You'll find someone Sierra… someone consensually…" Carson quickly added.

"At this point we've been through the couples, the jury, and the pre jury, but we've definitely got a lot to talk about. Is there anything we should clear the air about?" Chef griped from offstage.

"We do have a few questions from SuperSonicFan on Discord," Chris stated holding up a note card.

"During the Merge Quentin's game fell apart due to his emotions running wild, specifically due to his anger over how "unfair" Owen's return was after he was the third camper eliminated. How would he have felt if someone other than an early elimination like Owen was brought back, like B or Carson since they were eliminated right before the Merge, or if he had won the chance if he was eliminated early? Would it still be "unfair" to him then?"

"And for Violet, does she get compared to Chiaki Nanami, another avid female gamer, often? Because there were times when she reminded me of her with how she saw the competition as a video game. Quentin you go first!"

"Mike, Lightning, and Owen were the ones who voted for DJ to go. Jo was gone and by principle I didn't like returning players because they already lost once. You only get one shot in climbing comps, so Owen would have lost his. Owen also wasn't on my original team so my anger went to him more than Mike and Lightning. Had Carson and B returned I'd be less mad but I'd still be mad because they got voted out. Owen was the third boot, B and Carson made it to the last before the merge so they wouldn't have seen much gone. So call it vengeance, call it bitterness, but I call it misplaced anger," Quentin replied.

"Sometimes whenever I'm around my video game loving friends I get referred to as Chiaki because of how much I love video games, but otherwise no, because Danganronpa is still kinda a niche game and I don't fall asleep every other minute."

"Our next question comes from HoppsRJ, and he asks if there was anyone from the first season that you guys would have liked to play with this season?"

"I feel like Brick would have been a treat to play with, dude is so nice and kind, I hear he's been doing a bunch of charity events with some of the season one cast," Carson replied.

"Honestly I'd have loved to have gotten a chance to play with Jackson," Gwen said. "Or even Duncan, both seem to be the type of people I'd vibe with."

"I think Cameron or Beth would have made wonderful allies. I was sad to see them go early last season. They really had some winning potential," Dawn said.

"Not any of the major strategists or players?" Chris asked. "Leshawna? Scott? Heather? Ryan? Marilyn?"

"Dude are you crazy, they're insane. They lasted like double the amount of time as we did, and they're absolutely cracked at this game," DJ exclaimed, earning some nods of agreement.

"Another question coming from TheHangingSeedot on Discord, he asks 'In an immediate rerun of this cast who do you guys think does well and who do you guys think does worse?'" Chris reported.

"I think most of the merge is clipped early. I think only DJ, Gwen, and maybe Mike stand a chance of making the merge again, but I think B, Carson and Jaiden would do a lot better with a rerun," Violet explained.

"I'd agree with that!" Jo added. "As much as I'd love to think I could merge again, you maggots would take me out early if you had the chance. But I also think Lindsay being a winner and Violet being as good as she was also get taken out really early."

"Who comes back from the Playa then?" Dawn asked. "Surely it'd be someone pure like Lindsay?"

"I don't think anyone would want to give a winner another chance," Lindsay chuckled.

"I think there'd be more consideration into how one was eliminated and if they deserved to go back rather than just who someone likes," Sierra added.

"I actually have a question for Carson!" Dakota exclaimed, cutting the discussion off. "I'd like to know if Ryan gave you any advice that was actually helpful to you? You did make it to the midway point despite not making the merge which is still a solid placement!"

"I will say he did a lot to help me out when it came to socializing, I don't think I'd have been ever close to the position I was in without his advice there. That being said I was so paranoid and scatterbrained that I kinda fell apart by the time of the swap, because Sierra just being too much and Violet flipping really messed with me. In hindsight I of course would vote out Jo or Mike there especially knowing Mike didn't even vote with us, but I just was afraid of a tie," Carson replied.

"I think it goes without saying you and Sky are easily some of the more screwed over players we've had, so maybe we will see you again," Dakota winked and smiled giving the stage back to Chris.

"I also have to ask, what advice would you give the twenty campers joining us next season on Pahkitew Island?" Chris asked the group.

"Keep your paranoia in check!" Carson exclaimed, earning several nods from the group. "Sometimes it's better to do the simple move rather than the complicated one."

"I'd also add if there are any advantages in the upcoming season, always keep your eyes peeled, I think we all know how huge that idol was this season," Quentin added.

"Also be prepared for anything, the challenges are all vastly different, and the game is generally never complacent. We all want to win after all. When going into play just be prepared to feel yourself be on top and then come crashing down through the floor, especially if you go the distance," Jo stated, earning several nods of agreement from the cast.

"Jo, and Violet you two took home the most immunities this season with two and three respectively. Do you guys think you could compete with Marilyn and Scott who took home the most immunities last season?" Chef asked the two girls.

The pair looked at each other briefly and laughed. "Marilyn is a tough cookie for sure, but please we'd mop the floor with Scott, dude got a lucky immunity, a pity immunity, and carried to an immunity," Jo cackled.

"Look if the competition is eating dirt, then I think Scott would win, but if it's any other challenge I think one of the girls would beat him," Violet added.

"And this brings me to my final question before we announce the awards this season, would you guys want to play again?" Chris asked.

Gradually, the campers all raised their hands with slowly emerging smiles. Lightning and Jo were the first ones to shoot their hands up but once Carmen, Staci, Carson, and all the others had their hands up, even Gwen gave a sheepish smile and raised her hand, the last holdout. "Even with the toxic waste and the drama this season, it was still a blast, and I'd love another chance to win this thing," DJ exclaimed, earning nods of agreement from the rest of the cast.

"I think DJ speaks for all of us when he says we want another chance to win… well except Lindsay she doesn't need another chance," Carmen chuckled.

"Sooner or later you guys are going to have some sort of returnee season, and sooner or later we're going to bring the dinner to the table and we're going to eat it!" Tyler exclaimed, earning some side eyes from the rest of the cast.

"I think Tyler means that if any of us are back we're going to win the game for our season!" Lindsay said with a fistpump.

"Alright with that, let's get to the awards this season!" Chris exclaimed.

"Most of the awards haven't changed from last season, so let's stick to a steadfast alliance. We have nominated several key duos, trios, and quintets that'll be nominated. Now, this duo lasted decently far only to be cut short, but they wouldn't have gotten together if it weren't for a team swap! Who you voted as the favorite alliance between the Jocks, the Finalists, the Trio, Bi-rds of a feather, and the Subtle Duo… was GWEN AND DJ, THE SUBTLE DUO!"

Dakota and Chef, the latter clad in an elegant pink dress, handed Gwen and DJ identical golden marshmallows. "No time for speeches," Chris said as Gwen and DJ opened up their mouths. "Our next award goes to someone in the previous cast of campers. Now, as you're aware, the twenty-eight participants of Total Drama Island all made separate cameos through our eighteen episode run of this season. As for who was the favorite, well it was a toss up. FOUR cameos pulled ahead, but in the end, we have to mail a golden Marshmallow to ZOEY, or rather COMMANDO ZOEY, for her super duper spaghetti hunt."

Staci's mom was shown knocking on a relatively nice door in a rather small town and delivering a golden marshmallow sized box to one of the recipients inside. A familiar head of red hair waved at the camera before the door was unceremoniously closed.

"Next up, we have a group award for the best team! I know what you're thinking, there were only two teams this season, but because of the shuffle, we had four different initial layouts. Between the Rats pre and post or the Maggots pre and post, it was clear that the post swap teams were the favorites. However… in terms of drama, arguments, and great blindsides… THE MUTANT MAGGOTS POST SWAP WIN!"

Dawn, B, Carson, Violet, Jo, and Mike all received their golden marshmallows with a polite grin.

"Moving along, we have something that gives us heart through the season. The Best Confessionalist. All of them were initially on the Maggots, so that says something about their delivery huh? Let's see… Carson, B, Violet, and Gwen received the most votes, but of them, GWEN gets to take home another gold!"

"As for the best elimination ceremony, there was no shortage of them, especially after the merge. The recipient of the award will be the one who was eliminated in that ceremony. Of all the votes we got, DJ received the most so he wins this particular golden marshmallow! Going right along with DJ's elimination ceremony, he also wins the award for the biggest post-jury phase robbery! Not necessarily something to be happy about but an award nonetheless."

"On the flipside, with most of the votes, the most robbed pre-juror was Carson!"

"But a game of total drama wouldn't be complete without the best and worst strategy moves. The winners of these awards will be the ones who were responsible for the move. Our main moves in contention were Violet flipping on Dawn, the formation of the trio alliance of Lindsay, Mike, and Lightning, Gwen's blindside, and Violet and Lindsay getting Mike to flip. The winners this time are LINDSAY, MIKE, AND LIGHTNING for the formation of the trio alliance."

"Unfortunately, with the best move, there also is the worst move. Lightning and Jaiden voting for each other, Quentin campaigning against Owen, Carson flipping on Dawn, and Jo blowing up the Jock alliance all were the main votes. However, one move stands out, and the winner of the Brown Marshmallow of horribility is… QUENTIN CAMPAIGNING AGAINST OWEN!"

Quentin caught his marshmallow with as close to a neutral expression as he could muster before he let out a dissatisfied sigh.

"Now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The player of the season award was a hard competition, Violet, Lindsay, and Mike were all in the running, but LINDSAY pulled through! Our hero of the season goes to another one of the finale participants, and that is MIKE! And the villain of the season, between Quentin, Jo, Violet, ultimately goes to JO!"

"For our final award, we have a question of who was the fan favorite to win the season. Everyone was eligible, from the winners to the first boot, but online reception and concerned mail have allowed someone to pull considerably ahead of the curve. The winner is…THE BEAUTIFUL LINDSAY!"

"As for the fan favorite moment, we got a lot of great moments for the audience to choose from, but a lot of them were the result of a certain elimination, and as a matter of fact, many of the submissions featured one particular person. However, it was their certain action during a peculiar elimination ceremony that allowed them to finally take home the prize. For making the ONLY successful play with an Idol…. QUENTIN WINS THE FAN FAVORITE MOMENT AWARD!"

"Congrats to each of you for earning your award… or dis-award. But with an ending to one season comes the beginning of another, let's take a sneak peak to the opening of our next season, Season Three Pahkitew Island!"

Cause I wanna be...FAMOUS!

Geoff tumbles into a common space where the other campers are trying to gather more food. Alexis, Laine, Rodney, Ezekiel, and Sadie wave him over and he joins them.

na-nanananana-nanananana-nanananana-

Topher, Leonard, and Sugar squabble over a stick while Roman and Eva repped out push ups nearby.

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!

Bridgette and Sam hesitantly looked over some rushing water. Todd, Cody, Harold, and Drew peered over a map together before drawing the prior duo's attention.

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!

Nearby Alejandro, Amy, and Anne Maria pulled out reflective surfaces, tidying themselves up. Alejandro angled the mirror and a flash of light transitioned the scene to night.

All of a sudden Leonard and Sugar were situated in front of a campfire. Leonard waved his wand and Sugar applied lipstick as they leaned in close, only to back away as a giant log suddenly shot up between them before dropping. The moment killed, the two opted to smile at the camera. The camera zoomed out to reveal, clockwise from Sugar was Anne Maria, then Harold, Drew, Ezekiel, Alexis, Laine, Cody, Rodney, Sam, Sadie, Sugar, Geoff, Topher, Amy, Roman, Todd, Alejandro, Eva, Bridgette, and finally Leonard. Another pan showed that the logo for the season, Total Drama Pahkitew Island, was up on an old wooden sign.

A taller, more muscular boy with blue jean overalls and a white stained T-shirt and messy bright orange hair. He seemed pretty simple and from a farmer background of sorts, "Hey… uh my name is uh Rodney, and I couldn't help… but uh… notice how pretty you are… and I was wondering," The boy asked before being cut off,

"Um… I'm okay?" Alexis responded, clearly confused.

"I'm sorry!" Rodney ran off sobbing as another boy walked over, as the group of four stared off at Rodney clearly baffled.

The other boy was way shorter, he wore a collared white shirt along with a white sweater that had a red stripe going across the chest, he had a pair of loose blue jeans and black sneakers, and his brown hair was short but with a little poof in the front. "So… hi my name is Cody," He paused for a moment, "I just wanted to introduce myself to the group you know, get to know everyone, good luck out there!" He waved before strolling off.

Confessional, Alexis

The guys… are uh surely something here. We haven't even started and three of them have already flirted with some of the girls.

Confessional, Cody

Do I look that ridiculous when I get rejected? Maybe being a ladies man isn't exactly the best career path. But man, all the girls here are all really cute.

"I'm surprised Roman, for a guy who doesn't lift competitively you sure can hold your own," the girl exclaimed, gritting her teeth together to try and win.

"You're not so bad yourself Eva, no one has ever lasted this long in an arm wrestle," Roman replied, a cocky smile on his face.

"You know one of you could easily win this with a hook maneuver," A lanky boy said, pushing his green glasses up his nose. His long red hair fell just above his shoulders, with a middle part at the front, he had a blue t-shirt with a lone burger on it, on top of a pink long sleeve shirt, and a pair of green pants and black and white sneakers finished his look.

"Did I ask for your opinion, Napoleon Dynamite?" Roman retorted. "Go buzz off, we're busy." As Roman said this, Eva managed to beat Roman, using his distractedness against him.

"Good game," Eva said, extending her hand.

"Oh go shove it, both of you!" Roman said storming off.

"What the hell was that for jackass?" Eva yelled storming off after him.

"I think both of them are going to be scary individuals here. Hopefully they don't act like some punk juvenile delinquent who just bullies guys named Harold for fun… oh wait I'm Harold… oh great," Harold mumbled to himself.

Confessional, Roman

These chumps are a bunch of losers. Like why are you bothering me with arm wrestling facts when I'm clearly already winning. Idiot.

As everyone else was landing on the ground two blonde headed boys were still floating through the air. One blonde had short hair, a blue T-shirt with a Finnish flag plastered on the front, his black gym shorts and sneakers compliment the shirt. Along with his peach colored skin and sea blue eyes and small nose.

The other boy was much wilder, having long blonde hair that was covered up by a massive brown cowboy hat. He had a collared button up short sleeve pink shirt that was left open for his six pack to be in view, and a pair of jean shorts and brown sandals finished his look.

"Yo Laine, you said you swam a lot right?" The cowboy asked.

"Yeah Geoff mate, what of it?" Laine replied.

"You ever learned how to surf?" Geoff asked, getting into a surfing position spreading his legs and arms out and bending his knees to mimic.

"Heck yeah man, I did a little surfing back in Finland, not as hot out, but the waves just as gnarly," Laine replied, copying the position Geoff was in.

However as they mimicked the surfing pose they started swaying back and forth in the air and started hitting each other, which caused their parachutes to get tangled up. As their parachutes tangled they froze in the air like a cartoon and then began to plummet into the shallow water of the beach shore. As they crash landed a massive splash flew out landing on many of the other campers. As the pair arose they were hollering and laughing and gave each other a high five.

Reviews

SuperSonicFan: (Trygve) I'm glad you were able to warm up to Lindsay as a winner as time went on. That was our main intention with her, to really show her growth as a person and player and to actually kinda highlight her strengths from her seasons. And yeah the main goal of Lightning's boot was to have the will he won't he of Mike betraying him at the final hour, and with Lightning we really tried to make him grow into a bit more of an understanding character, especially given he was the first to know about Mike's condition. And I addressed this in the server, but yeah initially Violet was meant to be the main antagonist who failed multiple times (Owen and Gwen's boots) but as we wrote Jo 100% became more of the antagonist compared to Violet's strategic villainy sort of.

(Rj here): I know Lindsay was low on your desire to win but we're glad that she definitely warmed up in your end. The wrong name thing was partially my fault because I wanted to get creative and audacious with her misnaming (for example Carson being misnamed with different cities in Nevada). Violet had to be proud of her game in the end because she got far but the main regret was how callous she played at times, especially with Mike, which she was doing for a while. Kind of surprised that you thought Lightning would have won but I guess that's how it boils down. Lightning is a strong character in fanfictions so we wanted to go in a good way.

LordGemini: (Trygve): Totally valid criticism to say Violet shouldn't have won, I still think it's fine but no biggie. The reason Mike took Lindsay to the end over Violet is Violet was a bigger threat to win and Mike had targeted her most of the merge. If he decided to all of a sudden not take out Violet when he had the chance it'd be near impossible to explain to the jury, he also likely didn't know the extent of Lindsay's relationships with the likes of Quentin. Violet also from Mike's POV would have 4 for sure locked votes against him (Jo, Owen, Quentin, and Lindsay) if he took Violet, whereas with Lindsay it was maybe 2. I'm glad you enjoyed this finale as well, I also think with this being our second season everything as a whole is more refined, so hopefully it becomes better in PI!

(Rj here): Honestly the other factor at the time was LIghtning fending off Mike and Lindsay at the same time, both of whom had at least some physical background (Lindsay a cheerleader and Mike with Svetlana and vito) but we had to make her win here because otherwise Violet would have gone. I would say that Violet was affected by Lindsay's words because she suddenly started thinking about her little sister in the heat of the moment. I would say Manitoba being summoned was consistent with how the story has been. After all that was done, I'm glad we were able to bring the story to a conclusion you enjoyed.

Guester 1: (Trygve): Yeah we really wanted to flesh Mike out as a character especially since he makes it far we wanted to give him ideally proper character development (same with Zoey) now that he's separated from his other half. As far as the finalists, Scott, Leshawna and Jasmine were the only real contenders to be finalists in Island we were pretty set on one of them winning (more info on this in this Discord) here we had a bit more debate between one of the F3 or maybe DJ winning, ultimately we settled on Lindsay once we figured out other plot points. But it wasn't the intention for a Gen 1 to win and a ROTI to runner up. And yes PI will be all newbies, we felt it best to try and get more newbies in before anyone returns esp with 2023 announced we wanna wait and see and get more info on them as well.

(Rj here): Lindsay has what it takes, but I'm glad we were able to keep you pleasantly surprised. I'm glad you enjoyed our take on Mike. Trygve and I are still debating on what we can do with Mike (and a bunch of others) because his story isn't necessarily over. I will say that in terms of Island, Leshawna, Scott, Brick, Duncan, Jasmine, Sammy, Sky, Dave, Katie, and Beardo are all characters who I personally thought could have won on their rookie season while this season we had so many more of the cast be potential winner picks (Lindsay, Mike, Lightning, Jo, Gwen, DJ, B, Dawn, Tyler in this regard). The 2023 cast did throw a wrench in the established plans but oh well, we had to roll with it.
