A/N (I HAVE A SERVER!) Hehe. I have no beta readers btw. Whether I'm just too lazy to get 'em, or I lack the mental capacity. I made a server. It's new and not set up well. I hope yall will join. I'm in need of mods to make rules and all that good shit.

Once again it's pretty new so don't expect much when you first join. I plan on making it a lot bigger because I want to start writing other new stories and I'd like to have votes to see what people want to read.
Disclaimer: I own only what is mine. Which in this case would be the MC's character and any other OCs that belong in the story. High School DxD is owned by the god that is Ishibumi.
Chapter 7: One Thing After Another!
My senses were going off like crazy. All of these random devils approach me and introduce themselves before another devil cuts them off and does the same. Rince, repeat. Over and over again. I learned so many names that I definitely won't remember.
Four hours.
That's how long I've spent being hounded by these creatures of the underworld.
More than once did I consider just transforming and blasting this place to fucking oblivion. A peak in the corner of my eye to see a smirking crimson haired man killed any thought of that.
Fucking strong bastard is enjoying my suffering. I honestly wonder why he feels he has to torture me! What did I do!?
"Alright, I believe you all have had plenty of time." A very large man with black hair and violet eyes. His body is completely shredded, and even though I'm taller than him at 195 cm compared to his 194 cm, he has me completely outclassed in muscle. The man looks like a tank!
All of the devils surrounding us looked offended but scattered.
I dropped to one knee in reverence. This man…My savior! I had spent hours getting tortured and he comes and sends them away with a few words!? Not to mention the man has the secret to gains like none other!
"Thank you big brother." My voice was exhausted, but held respect like no one else has seen. Not even my parents would hear such a respectful tone from me.
"Uh…No problem. You know you don't need to bow. I never really cared much for that sort of thing." The man admitted, crossing his massive arms.
I looked down at my own arms and couldn't help but notice that I was lacking the depth he had. I spent all my life lifting weights to look like Lord Arnold himself, and this guy comes along with the body that can win him several Mr Olympias!
"I think I do." I admitted it easily. "You saved me from hours of hounding, and you're the most jacked guy I've met. Please teach me your ways."
"...Right." The man said after a moment. "I'm Sairaorg Bael, Rias' cousin. No need to thank me, I personally hate these kinds of things for the very same reason. As for my gains." He dropped to a knee as he got a closer look at my body. A smirk forming on his face. "Nice."
I paused. Why was he looking at me like that? I looked around us, then back at him and stood back up quickly.
"I don't swing that way."
Sairaorg blinked, then blinked again before his eyes widened. Quickly waving his hands in front of him, a disgusted frown formed.
"No! Why would you think I meant it like that!?"
I raised an eyebrow. The guy totally gave me the look. The only thing it was lacking was him licking his lips.
"You're not a very good liar." I said, crossing my arms.
"I mean it! I meant you have a nice physique for combat! I like fighting strong people so I was giving you a compliment." He barked out. I could tell he was more than a little frustrated.
"Oh. I read that wrong. My bad gang." I said with a sheepish smile.
He looked at me with annoyed eyes before sighing and holding out his hand.
"Isamu Satoru." I said, taking his outstretched hand and gripping it firmly. A frown appeared when he gripped harder.
Any smart man would have simply backed off after someone grabbed your hand so hard. I am no smart man.
I gripped harder.
He gripped even harder.
I activated my [War Aura] and gripped even harder than his even harder grip.
He activated some bullshit gold aura and gripped my hand even harder than my grip that was even harder than his last grip.
We stayed like that, pushing our limits. Locked in a firm handshake, and the one to walk away first was the loser…or the bitch.
I ain't no bitch.
The [Boosted Gear] appeared on my arm as our handshake started making shockwaves that no doubt caught the attention of everyone present.
[BOOST]
The whole time we looked each other in the eyes, learning more about each other than we would have learned through hours of talking. I saw pain, but determination in his powerful gaze and I knew regardless of what happened, this man had my respect.
Still would be my bitch though.
[BOOST]
I felt my strength increased greatly and his grip started to feel weak in mine.
"Why must he do these things?" I heard Rias' voice to my right, but I didn't break eye contact with Sairaorg. I knew he was struggling, but he was really good at not showing it.
His aura increased and now it was perfectly shrouding his body in a brilliant golden light. His grip grew even stronger, and an amused smirk formed on his lips.
[BOOST]
"I believe that's enough." The voice of the bastard Lucifer caught our ears, and I was tempted to continue, but Sairaorg retracted his hands before bowing his head slightly to the Satan.
Dismissing my aura and gear, I looked at the girly looking crimson haired satan who had the audacity to have my hair cut.
"It was quite entertaining though." Zeoticus Gremory said, his wife right beside him.
"Do you have a problem with him, Sairaorg?" Venelana asked in genuine curiosity. There was a small smile tugging at her lips but there was something in her eyes that made me shiver.
"Not at all." He answered casually, before swinging his arm over my shoulder. "In fact, I think we'll get along perfectly."
I couldn't help but smile at that.
"If you teach me how to get as jacked as you, then you'll replace Issei as my best friend…actually, continue existing and you'll probably take that title." I said after a bit of contemplation. Why was I friends with Issei again?
This got a small bit of laughter from the familiar devils and curious glances from the majority.
"Don't fear, Isamu. Your family now, I'll teach you plenty." Sairaorg said with a friendly grin.
"I'm glad you two are getting along." Rias said, walking up to both of us and approaching me. Sairaorg, getting the hint, let go of me and took a step back. Her arms wrapped around my body and her beautiful breasts pressed against my chest. "However I would like to have my fiance to myself for a couple hours at least."
"He's all yours." Sairaorg chuckled.
"Actually."
I sighed hearing his voice. What the fuck does he want now.
"I have to talk to Isamu…alone." Sirzechs Lucifer said with a gentle smile as he looked at Rias.
Rias frowned as she looked at her brother before looking at me.
"You don't have to go if you don't want to." She whispered.
Why the fuck does she think I'm gonna die or something! He just wants to talk…Right?
"I'll be fine." Looking towards Sirzechs I walked to him and stopped just in front of him. My eyes locked on his. "Lead the way, Rias."
Pindrop silence descended on the room as everyone tried to process what I just said.
"Do you think mistaking me for my sister is an insult?" Sirzechs asked with a chuckle.
"You had my hair cut…saying it looked 'girly' you sassy petty sister loving fuck."
The smile on Lucifer's face halted as he looked at me in genuine surprise. I know I probably just killed myself, but I'm not one to keep my thoughts to myself. Especially if someone is antagonizing me.
The rest of the devils except Rias all took several step backs. Looks of varying horror struck their face as they witnessed the strongest devil in existence get insulted.
"You must have a death wish." Sirzechs said, his eyes turning crimson. His aura wasn't leaking out, but I could feel all the power in his body being aimed at me. It was like walking down the street and seeing a sniper with his gun pointed at you.
"[And you must not have a mirror you pansy purse carrying bat.]" Ddraig snarled as my gear flared to life.
"You see…Me personally." I said pointing at my chest, a shit eating grin plastered on my face. "I wouldn't take that level of disrespect from a fucking gauntlet."
By now, Rias was already in front of me and I could tell she was fearing for my life. If this bastard wants to erase me, he can do it and go fuck himself for all I care. I would not spend the next ten thousand years listening to this mother fucker shit talk me like I'm some weak fuck boy.
"Brother, calm down." Rias pleaded before turning to me. "How could you insult him in front of all these people! He's a satan, he can't let the devils see people disrespect him. If he allows you to go unpunished, that would be blatant favoritism!" Rias whispered, although there was a scolding tone to her voice.
"Not my smartest move." I admitted.
"No shit!" Rias whispered back, her anger and concern too clear.
"Worst case scenario, I run." I said before walking over to the visibly calm, yet internally raging satan and patted his shoulder. "So you said you wanted to talk, big bro? Bet let's go." I walked past him and his parents and saw Grayfia giving me a disapproving glare.
I faltered in my step as I felt worry drifting off. Did the beautifully sexy devil actually care about me?
You learn something new everyday.
Grayfia sped up and started walking in front of me. Moments later Sirzechs turned around and started following me. I could still instinctually feel his aura pointed at me, but it was calmer. I turned around to see his face. I nearly booked it when I saw his eyes were still crimson, but there was a small tug of his lips.
"Haha. I'm in danger."
I mirthlessly chuckled quietly to myself. I could tell Grayfia heard it but I doubted anyone else did.
We arrived at a room and Grayfia opened the door, letting us in. I saw a rather small table with three seats. Sitting in one of the seats was Aiyanna Gremory. Sirzechs walked past me and took his seat. Aiyanna's eyes never leaving Sirzechs. Concern was clear on her face.
"Is something wrong, dear?"
"We'll see." Was his curt response.
Grayfia went to stand behind her king and I took the seat opposite to them.
Minutes passed as Sirzechs glared at me, Aiyanna curiously looked between the two of us, and Grayfia stared emotionlessly.
"So…" I said tapping my fingers on the table. "Am I gonna die?"
"[Probably.]" The gear formed on my hand and Ddraig's amused voice came to life.
"That's incredibly reassuring, thanks, Partner." I sighed.
All I did was insult the man back. If his ego is so fucking shallow that he can't take a comeback then fuck him. Normally I wouldn't even care if someone wanted to kill me, after all I'd just end up back in the Land of Lost Souls and come back. However…
This is the Incarnation of Destruction.
The man could destroy my very soul if he so pleased.
"No." Was Sirzechs very late answer. Several minutes had passed since I asked the question.
I sighed. Well that's cool.
"What Rias said was true though, I will have to punish you publicly, but there are plenty of punishments I can think of that wouldn't be so bad for you." He said, his eyes reverting back to their deep blue.
"I believe we should talk about the original reason for bringing him here." Aiyanna reminded her husband.
Sirzechs nodded and looked at me with an almost warm smile. "What is Rias to you?"
Now this was the question I was expecting.
"If you're asking status wise, she's my fiance…although I'm certain that's not what you meant." I chuckled getting unamused faces from everyone.
Tough crowd.
"Rias is my girlfriend, the woman I find most beautiful in this world. From her beauty, to the way she treats the people she cares about. She's someone I'd fight and die for, much like everyone else in her peerage. They are all my lifelong friends and I'll ensure they live by my side forever." I said, getting serious.
Aiyanna smiled, although Sirzechs still looked unconvinced.
"Do you love Rias?" He asked.
Shit. This was the one I wasn't hoping for.
"I love Rias, in a similar way to how I love Akeno, and Koneko. They are all women I care about. People I would struggle for if it meant they could smile. I don't quite know what romantic love is. Not yet. I've never had it before, but I think with Rias…we have a good start."
Grayfia's lips turned up and her face turned to her king. He was looking into my very soul.
"So you are not in love with Rias. A shame. I hope that will change soon." A warm smile forming on the satan. "I hope that will change soon."
I nodded, also giving him a warm smile.
"That being said." Purplish black aura radiated from Sirzechs as he stood up, his eyes returning to crimson. I shivered under what I assumed to be only a fraction of his power, directed at me.
"I love my family more than anything in this life, the last, or the next." He walked towards my seat, and my eyes couldn't even meet his. His killing intent wouldn't allow it. "If a tear is ever shed, if her blood is ever spilled, if she ever falls into sadness." He grabbed my shirt and made me look into his eyes which had now started to shift into the same purplish black. His hair, doing the same as well.
"That's enough!" Aiyanna shouted to no avail, as Sirzechs hair continued to dye itself.
"There is no hell deep enough. There is no heaven vast enough. There is no pantheon or faction strong enough to save you from my wrath." The aura started to dissipate and he went back to his seat.
Aiyanna and Grayfia looked at me in concern as I clutched my head and panted, trying my best to not have a heart attack. When I looked into his eyes, I saw what nothingness looks like. What the infinite abyss that destruction grants you looks like.
As I calmed down, I smiled faintly. Sirzechs had completely reverted back to his normal look and was looking at me curiously.
"I think the Hindus would beg to differ." I gasped out. "I don't need your threat to do my job as Rias' lover. I will succeed."
Warm smiles formed on all three of their faces, but I wasn't done.
"But know this." I took a moment to catch my breath and look up as Sirzechs face shifted back to its impassive state. "Your fear tactics are strong, but they won't work. Not forever. There is no being in existence I will not surpass. You are a stepping stone on my path to the top, and trust and believe I will stomp over you and move onto the next."
My eyes didn't leave Sirzechs, I didn't care to know what any of them thought about my proclamation. All that was important was I knew it for myself. In time, even this walking mass of destruction would be nothing but fodder to me.
"I look forward to it." Lucifer said with a challenging smirk. "Your punishment will be decided later, and I think I've kept you from Rias long enough."
I stared at the man for a few minutes, no words left my mouth but I'm certain he understood what my eyes were telling him.
Fuck you.
I finally got up and left. The second I did I saw Rias who was at the door waiting for me.
"Did you hear anything?" I asked as I wiped the sweat from my forehead.
"No, I think there was a sound suppression seal." She sighed before wrapping her arms around my neck. I pulled her close and took her lips. It calmed me down a lot.
My hand falling down and resting on her ass, groping it through her dress.
"Someones bold." She smiled teasingly, pressing her head against my chest. "Makes me wonder what happened in there to make you like this."
"I looked oblivion in the eye and told it to fuck off." I sighed as we walked back to the party.
I may not be old enough, but I need a drink.
—
Returning to the party, Rias and I danced the night away, spending the remainder of the night in each other's arms talking about our past.
I told her all about my younger days as a delinquent, how I met Issei, all the brawls Daiko and I got into, and all about Egypt when I visited it.
She told me all about her friends, Sona, Iryuka, and Latia. All whom she grew up with and loved as if they were her sisters. She also told me about her family's history in the Great War, and the Devil Civil War. Apparently Venelana was a fucking powerhouse who earned the nickname Madam of Destruction for a reason.
I was surprised to find out she was one of the biggest sadists among the devils, she would take her time with the angels and the fallen she captured. If she was in the middle of battle one crack of her whip infused with a powerful destruction seal would erase high class devils from existence.
I shivered as I recalled the whip, and when I told Rias about it she apologized. Apparently the whip was forged and crafted by norse dwarves, warded by the original Dantalion, and Finally blessed by The Great King Zekram Bael himself. The whip was a priceless artifact to everyone who knew of it, and could only be wielded by people Venelana allowed.
"I get the other people, the Dantalion and Bael are devils, but dwarves?" I asked curiously.
"My mother is very good friends with Lady Freyja. There was a time in the Great War where devils asked for the aid of the Norse, and thanks to my mother we almost got it…Until Azazel offered Odin barrels of liquor to stay neutral." Rias sighed.
"And they accepted?" I asked in disbelief.
"Thor…is a heavy drinker."
Sounds about right. Of all the mythologies in existence, the Greek and the Norse are the ones I wanted to meet most.
"Hey, we should take a trip to Olympus, or Asgard sometime." I smiled at her. She was sitting on my lap since we got pretty bored dancing after a few hours. A fine glass of red wine swirled in her hands as she thought about my words.
"It would be fun, but we'd have to know someone who would allow it. Even though my mother is friends with Freyja, she hasn't spoken to her in centuries." Rias admitted with a complicated expression.
I frowned, shit could never just be easy. Taking a sip from my own glass I started thinking about how I could go to all of these places.
"[The answer is always the same, Partner]" The gear formed on my arm and Ddraig's voice boomed proudly.
"Might is right." I said with a smirk.
"[When you're strong enough, no one will question you or your actions. Respect is gained through many ways, but strength leaves the most lasting impression.]"
"It's good to hear from you, Ddraig." Rias said, which kinda surprised me. This was one of the first times Rias was actually talking to Ddraig.
"[The same to you, Rias Gremory. It brings me joy to know my partner has found himself a mate with great potential]" I could hear the grin in the dragon's voice.
"Such praise from a heavenly dragon is truly welcomed, thank you Welsh Dragon." Rias answered respectfully.
The [Boosted Gear] dismissed itself and Ddraig cut the link.
"Ain't he nice." I chuckled.
"Yes he is." Rias leaned back and buried her face in the crevice of my neck. We stayed like that for a while, but all good things must come to an end.
"..."
I looked to my left and saw a little girl and it wasn't Koneko. I frowned as I looked at this girl's attire. It was a gothic lollita with black tape over her nipples. Her hair was a very deep black, somehow even blacker than my own raven hair. Her eyes blacker than the endless void I saw when looking into Sirzechs eyes.
She was literally millimeters from my face and if either of us moved forward our noses would touch. I stared into this little girl's eyes, and even though I couldn't feel her power at all, a thought dawned on me.
I can't win.
"Can I help you?" I asked, which prompted Rias to look up. She raised an eyebrow as she saw the little girl.
"Are you lost?" Rias asked in a concerned tone. I guess she couldn't instinctually feel the fucking dread I could.
"Dragon God?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
The gear formed on my arm again, although Ddraig didn't speak out of it. Not for a while.
"Ddraig." The little girl said emotionlessly.
"[...I didn't expect you to take notice of my host so soon, Ophis.]"
Rias immediately widened her eyes. Her grip around my neck tightened. I could feel her heart rate rise as she looked at the Dragon God of Infinity who stood not even an inch from us.
"The cat said he is a dragon god. I came to see if it was true." Ophis admitted, although her eyes never left my own.
"[I believe this…cat was mistaken. He is a God who is a dragon, not a dragon born in the dimensional gap.] Ddraig informed.
Ophis tilted her head again, before placing her finger on my head. I felt a small amount of her aura enter my body and I raised an eyebrow as it felt kinda…nice.
"Unfortunate, but the potential is there." She said, then looked at my gauntlet. "Will you aid me against Baka Red?"
"[I am a red dragon and Great Red is a red dragon, I feel a kinship with him. I would rather not, and I know his place in the gap is necessary. Ultimately it is not my choice, but instead my Partners.]" Usually I don't hear any emotion in Ddraig, although when he spoke to Ophis, I sensed a very small underlying amount of fear.
Ophis then looked to me, completely disregarding Ddraig's existence. "Will you aid me against Baka Red?"
I looked at Rias who was still pretty nervous. I also noticed plenty of devils had noticed our talk and had taken several steps back. Some were even outright teleporting out of the building.
"Great Red is the strongest in existence, I wanted to fight him one day anyways." I admitted, Ophis' emotionless eyes staring into mine all the same. "However I will not aid you, I wish to fight by myself and win by myself." I explained.
Ophis continued staring at me before she grabbed my face with both of her hands.
"You'll fight Baka Red yourself?"
"One day."
"When?"
"Dunno."
She frowned. "I wish to return home and bath in silence now."
"How's that going for you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It has led me to you." Her frown deepened.
"Then just wait and I'll get your silence back." I sighed.
Ophis nodded, letting go of my face. Just when I thought she was about to leave…she sat in my lap.
"Um…what are you doing?" I asked.
She looked up at me and tilted her head. "Waiting."
"Don't you have a home or something to wait in?" I asked curiously.
"Too many selfish devils. They want my power for their own gain, then they'll help me out. You..." She said, turning around and placing a hand on my cheek. "You have more potential. I will trust in you." Holding her other hand up, a small amount of power leaked and a bunch of snakes slithered their way through the air and into her hand. She closed her hand then went back to looking at me expressionlessly.
"What did you just do?" I asked in genuine curiosity.
"Took back what was mine from the weak devils. I do not need the Khaos Brigade for my purpose. Your potential is vast."
I didn't really understand shit she said. The fuck is a Khaos Brigade.
"So you're just gonna stay with me?"
She nodded. She turned around and saw my plate of cake. Picking it up and taking a small bite she froze.
I raised an eyebrow. The whole slice disappeared into her mouth. Picking up the plate and pointing at me. Her eyes slightly wide with shock.
"More."
Very short chapter this time around because it completely ends the Riser Phenex Arc. That shit is no more. Dead and gone. Ash and shit. As I said before, I have a server and would like to start getting people into it. I've never run a server so I need mods to set it up so it can be a fun place. The rules and stuff aren't even posted, but I'm pretty lax with that kinda stuff. I look forward to seeing you guys join up!
Random Question: Should I make a gamer story? I was thinking about starting a gamer multiverse kinda thing like The Dark Wolf Shiro. If yall would be interested in something like that, let me know in the discord server.
