Izuku decided that Nezu was insane. What sort of master plan involved him going to a summer camp? And why now? Stain had shown up, killed a few low-ranked and less popular heroes, and Endeavor had stopped him before much damage could be done. But the small knick in the lie that were many of the heroes had been enough to cause a panic and for everyone to begin looking closer at the heroes. This, in turn, caused Endeavor to be even more angry than normal at the scrutinization of his most recent performances.
"...I'm not sure how that would help…" Izuku said hesitantly in response to Nezu's rather abrupt announcement of him attending the hero course's summer camp. Shouto, who was sitting next to him, nodded his head in silent agreement, careful of the few wounds the dual haired teen still sported from the sports festival. Shouto had won, just as he'd promised Izuku and in doing so avoided any sort of negative actions from Endeavor for both the teens living in the abusive home for an entire month. A godsend to Izuku who's desperately needed recovery time because after being locked in his room the whole day worrying about Shouto and Hitoshi he'd realized he'd clawed deep gashes in his arms with his nails.
"You see Izuku, while you and Shouto are away and learning with the hero course, my team will be implementing the preliminary steps of taking down Endeavor, but we are… hesitant about the backlash this may cause so it is vital everyone in the home is away when we begin. So! You two will be at camp, Natsuo at his university, and Fuyumi will be staying with an acquaintance!"
"I guess that could work," Izuku siad heavily, "but I don't think there is anything you could say to get Endeavor to agree to let me go…"
"Oh don't you worry about that my young heroling, don't you worry…" Nezu's borderline malicious smile stopped Izuku from questioning any future. After all, the rat was a genius.

Endeavor was furious. He'd just received a letter in the mail from the Hero Pubic Safety Commission requesting his presence in the trial against stain for the next two weeks. He was Endeavor the number one hero, he fought the crime to prove he was stronger than All Might. He didn't do the lowly work of sidekicks such as attending trials for villains.
Endeavor crushed the paper in his hands and smote it into ash. No he wouldn't go. A tap on his shoulder had him turning around in anger, flames dancing on top of his clenched fists. " What!?" He snarled at his sidekick who had brought the letter to him.
"Th-they also said t-to give you th-this," the barely passable hero stuttered out, holding out their shaking hand clenched with a small slip of paper. Growling lowly, Endeavor snatched the paper, winching the edges, and read the single sentence.
' Failure to comply will result in freezing of hero license for one month. -Meli G. (Public Safety Commission Head)
Smoke filled the air as Endeavor silently raged at the insufferable note. Of course, this trial wasn't optional, not when it came to the Safety Commission. Oh he would go, but he'd while he was there he'd need to have a little talk with the Hero Commission and their policies.
Endeavor left a day before Izuku and Shouto were to leave for the summer camp, him none the wiser about the rapidly upcoming trip. Izuku was ecstatic, and he hadn't even cared that the flaming villain had spent four whole hours taking Izuku's blood the previous night in preparation for the trip(the only reason he was still alive was because of Dr. Mori's blood replenishing quirk). Nezu's plan had worked, and Izuku was free for an entire two weeks.
As soon as the number one hero's car was out of sight, Izuku's legs gave out, and tears began to run down his face.
"Izuku!?" Shouto's frightened voice exclaimed, "What's wrong are you alright!?"
"I-It worked!" The teen exclaimed in astonishment, eyes focusing on the dual-haired teen, "I-I am finally getting out!" With that, Izuku leapt up and wrapped Shouto in a massive hug. Shouto leaned into his embrace.
Without thinking Izuku pulled away only to lean back in and place a chase kiss on his not-quite-friend's lips, then promptly turned a vivid shade of red.
After a startled few moments, Shouto's only response was, "It's about time." Whether he was talking about the kiss or Nezu's plan, Izuku was unsure.
