The Italics is Cye.
The droid slowly attached the durasteel replacement onto the bone, its attachments had been put in place six hours ago but, with the blood vessels that needed to be routed threw the durasteel the replacement bone had to be specially made as some of the vessels inside the Emperors arm were un-humanoid in nature, where there should of been eight vessels there was sixteen, the droid had checked the humanoid medical databank and found nothing to explain it. Muscles had to be wrapped into the plate as did ligaments but as with the blood vessels there was twice as many with each thing. Whilst the Droid worked Cye fell into delirium:
'Rain soaked Kamino, bright white light, large metal domes glistened in the everlasting rain.
The boy stood like he understood the world, he was wrong. He stood like he knew that Sidious wouldn't harm him but Sidious did. His orange hair and soulless brown eyes glinted with a yellow spark to them, the boy didn't smile like normal children do, I doubt he even knew what a smile was. One day not long after his basic training and birth he was taken to a freezing cold room, filled with needles and medical equipment fit for a torture chamber but the boy didn't know that he had a choice. He just complied like he was taught to, like he was programed to. His eyes glistened as the man he trusted locked electrobinders to his wrists snugly, he complied when the man told him to lay down on the operating table and try to relax or even sleep, they boy couldn't, the man understood. The cold air whipped the boys back as the man cut the jet-black fabric that covered his spinal column. The boy tried to look up to see why but his neck and limbs were locked to the cott. Panic struck him but the man soothed him back to being calm. The man took a laser cutter and cut across the column mid-way down the boy yelped and shook as much as he could with the pain but no tears came. A whipping sound pierced the boys ears shortly before something he presumed to be a needle smashed into his vertebrae he screamed in agony as a dark laughter filled the room- Sidious. He boy felt terror but supressed it as needle after needle hit him, his whole boy began to somehow transform as pain shot threw every millimetre of his small form.'
The Droid looped the vessels into the specially made durasteel replacement, then clamped the implant down fixing the vessels inside the plate, the Droid then began to add some-sort of liquid to the repairable fragments they solidified against the durasteel and the rest of the bone and fixed down into their places with clicks and slight crunches the Droid wrapped the muscle around the plate, fixed ligaments to ports on the plate and began to close the wound.
Cye awoke, to see metal within his body being slowly incorporated, maybe he wouldn't of noticed if he hadn't seen but he did notice and it did bother him.
"Sir, your awake! Your going to need to rest up though sir."
"I know Zoaski, why is this... metal inside me?"
"A lot of the bone was missing, like it had been removed almost, so the medical unit had to create a plate to replace it and thread your muscles ligaments and blood vessels into it."
"Ah, I see," Cye started as the droid closed his wound. "Are you finished MBD-09554?"
"Afirmative."
"Good, Zoaski walk with me."
"Sir if I may be so bold, would you consider not using the arm for the next few days?"
"Ah Zoaski, I don't need to not use it, it will heal, you may even find that the plate will need removing in six hours time." Cye said with a smile.
"Sir are you crazy? You took major damage its never going to replenish the bone!"
"That's enough Zoaski!"
"Sorry M'lord.
Galen woke up to find stitches and bandages covering him, his hand was covered so much so that he couldn't move his thumb at all. Galen sat up, stood up and saluted the Governor.
"Marek, its good to see that you are on the mend before your court martial."
"Court Martial Sir?"
"For deliberately severing contact with the highest ranking man on this rock!"
"Sir, my ComLink was broken in the fight that I received these bruises in."
"Then why wasn't it's shell still on your panel soldier?"
"The enemy grabbed it and tried to make off with it. I kicked him to the curb and he crushed it in the fall."
"Well I will be asking your men if that is true then Admiral."
"Of course, Governor."
The Governor swaggered out from the room in his usual 'I-am-better than-you-and-you-know-it' manner , Galen rolled his eyes as he left and reached for his lightsaber, it flew to him and he clipped it onto his belt.
"I still say your lucky boy." Kota sneered.
"Well you should have seen the other guy!" Galen joked even though he knew he had injured Cye worse than Cye had injured him.
"If I was you I would meditate then return home boy"
"That is exactly what I'm going to do but I'm going home first."
"Why?"
"Because Juno and my kids haven't seen me in days and Juno and I are expecting our third child in just under eight months."
"Well, congratulations boy."
"That's the first positive thing you've said all day."
Galen left for home, he jogged but not as fast as he would have liked. He past the palace and the high street, trekked up the hill and arrived beside the forest. Galen swung the door open happily, only to hear pained crying as he entered.
"Juno? Juno darlin' I'm home." Galen announced as he entered the kitchen to find Juno hunched over a piece of paper with smeared ink all over it. "What's wrong Juno?"
"Caleb. His gone."
"Gone where?"
"To the frontline. To war."
"But Caleb isn't old enough?"
"Not in years no but physically he is, he got in because he is our son."
"Which unit!" Galen demanded.
"I don't know."
Galen knelt beside his sobbing wife and held her, hugged her and wiped the smeared ink from her fair-skinned face.
