Juno smiled as her baby kicked hard, like a football player.
"Must be a boy Jun." Kenan said
"Another boy? Three in a row? No way!" Juno laughed.
"Well hey, my parents had six of us in a row!"
"Oh no, not six, three is my limit."
"Aha, you won't be saying that once Kento is twenty and you feel unneeded."
"In eighteen years I'll be forty-one!"
"Well your only twenty three, so you'll be... oh wait yeah forty-one."
"Exactly no kids after thirty-five, thank you very much!"
"Aha, when are you due Jun?"
"Three months time!"
"That's gone quick!"
"I was four months when I found out, crazy isn't it?"
"Yeah, your tellin' me."
'Why would Korak kill himself?' Galen thought as he strode into the emergency meeting.
"Ah here is the man of the hour! Admiral Galen Marek, founder of our resistance movement" A Commander shouted.
'I'll think later, lets just get this over with'
"Ah yes, good day to you all," Galen started "I have bad news for you all, Governor Vince Korak has been murdered. He was a great and.. Wise man but do not lose heart! He may have died but lets not make it so he died in vain! Our efforts in the war must and will triple! We must win this war! FOR NABOO!" Galen shouted as he spoke his last sentence.
"FOR NABOO!" The crowd shouted back half heartedly.
"I said FOR NABOO!"
"FOR NABOO! FOR DE NABOOZA!" The crowd shouted back more forcefully.
"Now that is better. The enemy is vast, powerful even but that means nothing. A man's resolve will define him not how many others stand with him! I think I speak for all of us, Humanoid and Gungan alike when I say we will protect our home and we will win!"
The crowd cheered.
"So lets get out there and recruit more soldiers! We need every man and woman to join us in our fight for a peaceful Naboo, the Naboo we call home, not this smoking rubble plagued land! DISMISSED."
Galen left quietly threw the back exit, he didn't want any hero-worshippers to follow him about all day he just wanted some peace to mull over Korak's... visions for the future, 'Cursed? Well no good deed goes unpunished.' Galen thought solemnly
"Sir! We are loosing ground, near the Solleu River, they can't hold out, we need the bigger units."
"Order Alpha Units to the field, any new on Omega?"
"A third have been found dead in marsh land and swamps."
"Understood, ready any and all ships we can, we need to be swift if we are to be victorious."
"Aye, Governor."
"Admiral will do fine Corbye."
"Of course Admiral."
"Get going!"
Cye woke late in the day, didn't train, didn't dress all he did was lay there staring at her: Cali. Her long brown hair, her greenish-blue eyes, they dazzled him, kept him off guard and he couldn't and wouldn't try to. His bed- their bed - was covered in dark crimson and black sheets and pillow cases, specially made for his pleasure. Cye lay there watching his love sleep in peaceful harmony, her chest rose and fell rhythmically and he brush the small lock of hair that fell from her forehead back every time it fell. He stared and stared yet couldn't tear his eyes away, he just wanted to freeze time and stay in this moment forever.
"Zoaski to the Emperor."
"Shh! What is it Zoaski?" Cye asked in a whisper as he sat up.
"General Bernita is back, he arrived ten minutes ago." Zoaski murmured threw the comm.
"Arrest him, keep him confined."
"Yes sir."
"And Zoaski, do not disturb me again."
"Sorry M'lord."
The comm crackled out.
"You will be."
Cali stirred as Cye tensed in anger, he soon calmed himself and lay back down beside her, he only wanted his family back but some dark desire inside him wanted to rule with a iron fist, to be a true Emperor and another part wanted to be a Sith Lord and take an Aprentice when the final part wanted to be a Jedi Knight, so Cye supressed it all and took what he could by remaining neutral.
The battle raged, Caleb moved forward replacing his comrades that had only been on the front line for ten minutes, he sulked forward barrel rolled behind a barrier and loaded his blaster.
"Marek, keep those plastics at bay!" A man on a stretcher shouted.
"I will PotEye!" Caleb barked back before he leapt up and began to shoot.
"Waer on your right!" Caleb shouted before Waer was shot squarely in his forehead and crumbled backward.
"DAMMIT!" Caleb shouted as he shot the plastic who had killed his friend.
Blaster bolts fired back and forth, volley upon volley of it, man after man died, yet the plastics kept advancing, they didn't even check if their dead were save-able they just walked over them like they would a boulder, their white and Orange armour seemed impenetrable, for every one plastic they killed they lost ten of their own, or more. For every ship the bombed, three more took its place. Caleb threw a grenade over the line, yet the men seemed to just walk threw it, five fell yet the rest kept coming, marching, shooting, burning and killing. Caleb shot precisely, he shot and shot and shot at the same mans armour, chest, head, limbs yet nothing seemed to be working. Caleb missed his shot, the bolt grazed the plastic's neck and then he saw red blood pouring from the plastic's wound.
"Aim for their necks!" Caleb shouted to his comrades.
Blaster fire continued, more plastic's fell but not enough to stop their advance.
"THE NECK'S AIM FOR THEIR NECKS!" Roared threw the crowd. More men rushed to hold the line as Caleb ducked and rolled from a falling tree that almost hit him straight across his back. Three soldier carrier ships whined above the battle field, neither side knew what side's soldiers they carried, the Civilianists almost shot it down before one hatch swung open and two lightsabers were seen, yellow and green, Marek and Kota, they dived from the ship into enemy lines and the other two ships dropped lines down to the Civilianist's lines, soldiers slid down them one after the other for at least fifteen minutes, blasters clicked and locked into position, a canon was built up and suddenly they were repelling the enemy.
