This is the missing chapter of the Ice Kingdom arc. It takes place after Ending Secrets.

Antarctica was beautiful from above. It was also a lot colder. Jamie wrapped his scarf tightly over the lower part of his face to keep his nose from freezing. He didn't mind the cold, though. He was in Santa's sleigh, flying over endless plains of ice and snow and it felt like a fairy tale. He smiled. He would have such stories to tell Jade when he returned!

"Jamie, look!"

Sophie tugged on his arm and pointed at a spot near the water, where little black dots moved around the ice. She laughed and waved at the penguins. He liked to think they waved back. Next to them, Jack poked Bunny on the head with his staff.

"Come on, Cottontail, will you stop huddling like a scared rabbit?"

"I'm not scared! I'm huddling because it's freezing up here. What's there to see, anyway? It's just some snow."

"But it so beautiful," Tooth said, clasping her hands together. "Look at how the ice sparkles under the sunlight! Bunny, you're missing everything."

Jamie's scarf his his grin and he bit his lip to keep from laughing out loud. The Pooka may act, and look, tough, but he remembered him running from Abby, even though the dog was so much smaller than the Easter Bunny.

"Yeah, it's really a beautiful view.," Jamie said.

Sandy nodded in confirmation. Bunny glared. Jack grinned. Sophie laughed and returned to the seat, grabbed Bunny's arm and pulled him up from where he was curled up on the floor. The Pooka protested and clutched at her coat like he was afraid to fall.

"Just take a look! I'll hold you."

"I don't need anyone holding me!" Bunny made a move to push Sophie away, but instead he wrapped his arms around her.

"You're not looking."

Bunny stretched his neck to look over the edge without going anywhere near it, but North chose that moment to turn the sleigh sharply left, sliding the passengers around. Jamie had to hold the railing to keep from falling. Sandy raised his hands like in a rollercoaster, Bunny cursed and tried to return to the floor. Jack laughed, unconcerned with the vehicle's movements. He jumped on the railing next to Bunny and fished something from a hidden pocket of his cloak. The thick garments flew around as soon as he let it go.

"Hey, Bunny! I got something for you."

Jamie smirked when he saw him hold a piece of carrot cake out, just out of reach of Bunny unless he moved closer to the edge. Jack tossed his first believer a wink, then shook the cake in the Pooka's direction.

"Wh-what the–do you think I'm a child that you can manipulate with cake?"

Jack plastered his most insincere hurt look on his face. "But... didn't you like the cake? I made it just for you."

Bunny grumbled, stared at the cake, licked his lips. He inched forward, not quite letting go of Sophie, and swiped the cake out of Jack's hand as soon as he was close enough, before retreating away from the edge again. Jack laughed. Bunny shook a boomerang threateningly at him. Sophie patted his shoulder. Jamie stifled a laugh.

"Jamie!" North shouted from the front of the sleigh. "Come over here."

Tearing his eyes away from the scene, he joined the big man a the front. Before he could ask what was the matter, North tossed the reins at him.

"Wh-wha?"

"You try!"

North unceremoniously grabbed him and pulled him in the front seat. The reindeers apparently didn't like the change, since they started to move in a chaotic downward spiral. He heard crashes in the back. Bunny cursed again. Jack laughed louder.

"Bunny, let go! You're tugging on my feathers."

"Jamie, I'm gonna have to take away your licence!" his sister shouted at him.

"S-sorry!"

He tried to get the beasts back under control, but they were stubborn. North clasped him on the shoulder.

"You do well, for first time. Better than Jack did."

"Hey!" The youngest Guardian landed on the back of the front seat, just behind Jamie's shoulder. "I had Nightmares to worry about. An buildings."

North laughed and slapped him on the back hard enough to knock him off his perch. He fell over Jamie's shoulder and into his lap, hitting his head on the navigation globe with a pained noise. A hard blow on Jamie's arm from a flailing limb made him lose the reins. He didn't immediately notice, with the confusion of having someone fall on him, but it became obvious when the sleigh pitched toward the ground at breakneck speed.

"Oops. Buckle up everyone!"

"North! We've been over that! There's no bloody seatbelts."

Whatever else the Guardians were shouting was lost in the rush of the wind deafening him. Jack managed to pull himself up and off of Jamie. He rubbed his head.

"Prepare for crash!" North shouted.

Jamie bounced out of his seat when the sleigh hit the ground and rolled until he hit the side. The reindeer didn't stop running and they kept dragging the sleigh after them for a short distance until it hit something and overturned, sending all of them flying. As he briefly soared over the frozen landscape, Jamie was reminded of another sleigh ride many years ago. He crashed hard into the snow. Just like the good old days.

He stood a little woozily and would have fallen back down if Tooth hadn't held his arm.

"Are you alright?"

He laughed. "At least I didn't loose a tooth, this time."

She grinned at him, probably remembering the incident as well. Jamie looked around to see the others pulling themselves out of the snow. Sandy jumped up and clapped his hands. Bunny and Sophie stood up together, his sister smiling while the Pooka grumbled. North sat up, dusted the snow off his hat and put it back on his head.

"Where's Jack?" Jamie asked.

"Oi, Frostbite? Where are you hiding?"

"Oh. I think I know." North said sheepishly. He got up, reached down to where he had been sitting and grabbed a fistful of blue fabric. He pulled the Spirit of Winter up to his feet. "Are you alright there, Jack?"

"I..." Jack wheezed. He took an unsteady sideway step and fell back in the snow. Bunny guwaffed.

"Looks like you squished our little snowflake, North."

Jack grabbed a fistfull of snow and tossed it in Bunny's general direction. The Pooka snorted. Sophie clapped her hands.

"Does that mean we're having a snowball fight?"

"Eh, I don't know that Frostbite can handle that right now."

A snowball to the head proved him wrong.

So, there's a few things I need to say. First, this may possibly be the last chapter I post. I know I've said that many time before, yet I'm still updating. But I still thought I should warn you. I've been really disappointed with my writing, lately, and that makes it hard for me to write fanfictions (or rather, to post them for others to read). Anyway, some of you may know that I've been writing some HiJack fanfics recently, so I might be getting back into writing. I'll see how that goes.

The other thing I wanted to say is THANK YOU to everyone who's ever reviewed this. I'm sorry I so rarely reply. I told myself after posting last chapter that I would reply to every single review I got, this time, but then I had a mild panic attack while trying to reply and I had to give up on that. So, sorry I fail at communication. But those reviews are very much appreciated and I read every one of them several times. So thank you.
