Galen lay in his bunk, he felt as though he had been cooked at a high temperature for a long time. He sighed and then winced, the pain only became unbearable whenhe moved. Under his Master: Darth Vader he had endured worse but he seemed to have forgotten all the pain from his brutal upbringing until he lay there with nothing to do but try to keep still. Infuriated he turned over and soon regretted it, the base's bunks were lumpy, uncomfortable and out of the hundreds of bunks there his was the only one filled. Caleb was still with the Doctors, he had been on the line when the Imperial's attacked and had bore the brunt of the fight yet lived to talk about it- for now.

"So tell me, why did you of all people think it prudent to disturb me?" Cye asked with a sharp edge to his erratic voice.
"I- I thought, I mean, I didn't know you were bu-sy, Bernita is on the board as wanted.."
"You know the rule, if I have not left my Quarters, I am not to be disturbed."
"I thought you had, I saw someone, who looked identical to you, I mean all your family does but they all have slight differences, this man was identical except he wore a flight-suit in a dark shade of green and did not have a weapon like your own." Zoaski managed to speak without passing out from his fear.
"That is not possible, I am the only one of my brothers that can be recognised as me."
"Could.. It have been your son?"
"No, my son looks a lot like me but he is not identical."
"Maybe a new brother, one who seeks you M'lord."
"Not likely."
"I will not fail you again Your highness."
"Return to your duty. Report back to me, with a detailed holo-image of the man you saw at 2100."
"Yes Sir!" Zoaski said promptly before practically jumping from his seat and saluting then almost running from the room.

Cye left the meeting room and returned to find Cali sitting on the steps that lead to the viewport.

"My love?" He greeted.
"I was just taking in the change, it... isn't so.. machine like in here anymore, you've personalised it, I like what you've done with the place, it gives it a more... welcoming and warm atmosphere."
"Well, I wished for my throne room to represent my rule not Sidious'. Have you seen the Galaxy? How much it has evolved since the end of the sith?"
"Well, I have only seen two planets, maybe three but I must say Cy, people are much more elated by your rule than by the oppressive rule that came before yours."
"Planetary growth is up. People are rebuilding their worlds and on my visit to the mid-rim, I found that worlds are flourishing again, toxic substances have been cleared from the soil on many worlds and testing is to be done as to whether or not the soil is suitable for growing food."
"You have done well Cy."
"I know but one world concerns me greatly."
"Naboo?"
"No, Acherin."
"Acherin? In the Red Twins System?"
"Yes the land is spoilt from bombardment and the inhabitants are refusing my aid."
"Why would they do that Cy?"
"Because, the Sith continued to bombard, to kill their citizens after they asked for truce."
"I see."
"It is no matter, shall we dine?"
"Please."
"This way, my Love."

Noise began to seep threw the paper-thin walls as Galen woke from his brief sleep, the bunk-room remained empty yet he could hear the men and women outside talking about someone losing their leg and another man losing all his limb to a canon blast. It took him a minute to realise that he was not hearing voices and that it was the commotion from after a speech or after a meal, he deduced that it was the former as food has been scarce.
Galen moaned in pain and he forced himself to sit up and then yelled after hitting his head off the bunk above him, he double took and noticed that his bedding was a deep red instead of blue, he slowly eased his boots on and felt blood trickling down from his leg, and stomach where the burns were severe, he rubbed the sleep from the corners of his eyes and proceeded to get up before he felt the room spinning and felt more than saw the floor hitting into his ribs on the left side of his body. The door flung open, Target dived down to help him, he batted him away before he slipped and landed flat on his burnt back. Galen allowed Target to pull him up, the pain made his vision blur as Target did so but he didn't mention it he just wanted to get cleaned up and to see Caleb.
"Take me to the Medic."
"No offence Sir but that was where you were going whether you like it or not."
Galen chuckled "Please, I could take you on any day." He said with a wink.
"Sure, well kicking my ass will have to wait for another day eh? C'mon I think I hear the bandages screaming to be used!" Target joked.
"Aha, not too many bandages on me. Other men need them more than I."
"You are the patient you'll do as your told."
"Remember I out-rank you Target."
"That you do Sir."
"Galen please just call me Galen! Too many people Sir me."
"They respect you."
"They annoy me."
"Do I hear the sharp wit of Kota there Sir?" Target mocked.
"No, I'm not that old yet."
