Caleb lay there as his father worried and tried to keep it together long enough to ask the medic what could be done.
"Is there anything that could help him?!"
"He is virtually dead, let him go." The Medic who was bitter said.

Galen hoisted the Medic off the ground with his bare hands by the medic's throat, the lock had cracked too much this time and the anger and rage filed threw the tiny crack that Galen had allowed and surged into his body and gave him extraordinary strength.

"P-le-as-e, I-I-I'm So-rry."
"You will help him!"
"I-'ll t-r-y."
"Not good enough!"
"I wi-ll hel-p."

Galen threw the Medic hard into the superstructure leaving a deep imprint of the twenty-two stone man in it. The man scrambled to his feet, unscathed except from superficial wounds, blood poured onto Galens white shirt as the man came too close and Galen backed away trying desperately to seal the crack, to end the anger and restrain the spite.

"I can't save him." The Medic said with a fearful sorrow.
"WHY NOT!" The crack formed into a hole.
"Because, his brain activity is zero, he has no brain stem activity or heart beat."
"GIVE HIM MINE!"
"I cannot sir, it is against Galaxtic law and against the vow I took."
"DO IT TAKE WHAT HE NEEDS I DON'T WANT IT!"
"SIR, I can't, your not the right blood type, he'd reject it and you'd both be dead and it'll have done no good."
"Synthesise what he needs!"
"I cannot synthesise life Sir."

Galen sunk to the floor, lost, hopeless and ashamed that he had failed Caleb by simply not being there and not hunting the boy down and dragging him home.

"Leave the support on, my wife will need to say goodbye."
"Yes Sir, and Sir?"
"WHAT?"
"Your son did a great thing, remember that."
"He died because he was too much like me and my wife. He needed to do some good. Like Juno and I did after all the bad we had done, he paid for that with his life, and I could have, should have saved him."
"You did save him."
"No, I saved a shell not the boy who inhabited it."
"Wait a minute, his a... clone?!"
"Yes." Galen said as the hole filled and the void between all the things he was or ever could be was filled with remorse, grief and pain.
"Is he the only clone of his kind?"
"Why?"
"Because if he is I can do something."
"His not the only Clone."
"I'm so sorry."
"Just take him to the governor's quarters, I want my wife to be able to say goodbye in private."
"I understand, that's in section X29610 Room 001 correct?"
"Subsection K821."
"I'll do it now."
"Thank you. I'll be there to clean his body in ten minutes. I don't want Juno to see him so... so.."
"Broken?"
"Yes Medic that is correct."
"My name is Keah, Keah Bernita."
"Galen, Galen Marek."
"I knew that Sir."
"Please, call me Galen, Sir does not apply here, not at this moment."

"Master Ti, I do not get a choice in who my Master will be, normally-" Kallium said with confusion unmasked.
"I'm giving you this choice, as I said the Jedi are evolving, changing." Shaak Ti smiled, her smile always gave Kallium and air of ease.
"Then Master, I will accept, I can think of no one better to guide me."
"I am glad to hear you say that, you speak highly of me, our first mission will be the day after your apprenticeship is finalised, we are going to Shili."
"Your homeworld Master?"
"Yes but we are not going there to visit, we are going to find a Jedi."
"I understand Master, I will begin my preparations for the journey right away."
"Bring only what you need and what you can carry with ease."
"Master?"
"Although the sith appear to have disappeared, we are still in danger by them."
"I do not understand your meaning?"
"Kallium, many believe the Jedi to be traitors although some do not we can not say that Shili isn't dangerous."
"I understand Master."
"Good, we leave in three days."
"As you wish my Master."
"I'm glad you are enthusiastic but be mindful of the force around you."
"I will Master."
"Good now quickly return to your room, you need your rest for what comes ahead."

Kallium bowed with pride and paced off the way they had come, Shaak leant against the cold cracked wall and let out the air she'd held in for so long.
Her dreams had begun to haunt her, a orange skinned padwan, the betrayal on the padwan's face as she walked away from the temple and the order, it shouldn't of bothered Shaak Ti but it did, it weighed on her and she needed to see it for herself, she reached into a pouch on her belt and retrieved it, a small line of braid, a padwan braid.

"Master, you shouldn't be doing this, it is not safe to leave the temple." Maris emerged from the shadows behind a fallen pillar.
"I know, but I have to, I must know if she is alive. Shili is my homeworld, no harm will come to me or my new apprentice there."
"Master, even if she is alive she will most likely not recognise you or if she does she will not want to speak to you."
"Ah Maris I have a feeling that she is expecting me."
"Master?!"
"I do not usually remember dreams I sometimes doubt if I do dream so why after all this time would Ahsoka come into my subconscious if she disn't wish to be found."
"It's a trap!"
"No, Maris I think the young one wants to come home."
"Her training doesn't count anymore master, Skywalker was her master look at what he was."
"Yes but Ahsoka did not know that side of him and I do not believe that she even knows what he became."
"Does Master Yoda know about this?"
"Yes Maris, Master Yoda is very wise and I consulted with him about the mission."
