Tristan (P.O.V)
I had my eyes closed as the sun hit my skin. Today was one of Forks rare sunny days which meant Emmett had to skip school. Angela and I sat at one of your lunch punches outside as I tried to convince her to come with me so I can pick out my prom dress.
"Come on Angie please". I said giving her my puppy dog eyes.
"But Tris I'm not going to prom and honestly I have no style so I wouldn't be much help in that department". Angela said brows furrowed.
"Well a girl has to start somewhere. You can check out a couple of clothing stores and see what you like. Maybe even see about getting you some contacts". I said getting excited Angela was a beautiful girl. She just needed some confidence and a few cute outfits.
"Why would I get contacts?". Angela ask confused fumbling with her glasses.
"To bring out your beautiful eyes that you like to hide behind your glasses. Plus I've made it my mission to ensure we become sister in laws in the future". I said smirking.
"Sister in law?". Angela asked confused before her eyes widen as she whispered. "No way Tris, don't even think about it Edward Cullen would never be interested in a girl like me plus have you seen how him and your sister are around each other". Angela said as Tristan rolled her eyes. The last few days since the trip to the beach it seems as her sister's obsession is growing.
"Look Bella's interest is more of an obsession. Rosalie and myself don't want her pursuing Edward and honestly out of all the girls around town you are the better match for him". I said liking the idea even more. Angela has both always been a wonderful girl and she would be a good match for Edward, who only pursued her sister because he wasn't able to read her mind.
I heard from Emmett how difficult Edward has of a time being around Bella. He constantly has to go hunting as her blood calls out to him. The few times Angela had been out hanging with me when she was around the Cullen's barely twitched.
I know Rosalie doesn't like humans as I am the exception but honestly when I told her my idea, she was on board as something about Bella rubs her the wrong way.
"I don't know Tris". Angela said looking hesitant.
"Look Ang everything aside you should go to prom. I don't mind sharing Emmett with my best friend for the night. There is plenty of him for us to, we can go as a small group so we are going to port Angeles after school and get our prom dresses and see about getting you some contacts". I said giving her puppy eyes again.
"Fine you win even if I was to protest you would find a way to get your way". Angela said with a sigh as I smirked when the bell started ringing. We grabbed our stuff as we stood. I lost our arms with a smile on my face as we headed inside.
"I want us to match Emmett so we have to agree on a color scheme when we see dresses we're interested in. We had to port Angeles after school. We don't want to miss finding any good dresses." I said excited as I had been looking forward to prom for months.
"Your going to Port Angeles". A voice came from behind stopped us as I turned around to see Jessica and Bella.
"Yea we are why are you asking?". I asked raising eyebrow.
"Well it would be fun if all four of us could go together. I will be driving separately as I have dinner plans with my parents tonight". Jessica said as I rolled my eyes.
"I don't...". I was cut off with the light elbow hit to the side.
"Be nice". Angela said as I muttered curses at my breath, she smiled at Jessica. "It sounds great. We'll see you after school". Angela said before pulling me away as I pouted.
"Why did you agree?". I said whining as Angela rolled her eyes.
"Because it will ensure Bella is within our sight and not bumping into Edwards somewhere". Angela said shrugging.
"Me Alice and Rose are so planning your wedding some thing in the winter around Christmas where the floor is covered in snow. Oh I love it a winter wonderland". I said excitingly as I heard Angela sighing.
I smirked as we had it inside, as I could see a light blush forming on her cheeks.
"Oh what about this one?". I asked Angela as I held up a turquoise dress as she was looking through a dress rack herself. Jessica was currently trying on a dress and Bella was sitting in the corner looking like she rather be somewhere else.
"That one is beautiful it would go great with a pair of silver heels. What do you think of this one?". Angela said before hesitating holding up a strapless royal blue dress.
"You will look beautiful, especially with your long legs the dress will look amazing with a pair of silver or black heels". I said smiling as Angela started blushing holding the dress to her chest.
"So we don't have to pick similar dresses to match Emmett's tux?". Angela ask curiously.
"No, Em suit is black if we want to match, we can both get a pair of silver heels while he gets a silver tie". I said already picturing it. I didn't mind sharing Emmett for the night.
He's super energetic so he could easily dance with the both of us. I didn't feel right leaving my best friend to spend her prom night alone. A real prom only ever happens once in a lifetime for a human so it's special as a right of passage.
Has another dress called my attention. I saw Bella grabbing her back as she stood up. "where are you going?". I asked as she stopped in her tracks.
"The bookstore that's the reason I came to Port Angeles", Bella said before walking out. I rolled my eyes before going back to looking through other dresses.
Angela and I have tried on a few dresses. She's stepping out of her comfort zone a bit. Which was a big step for her as she has always been reserved and shy. I love that about her but I also want her to put her self first and never let anyone walk over her.
It was a fun afternoon after we paid for our dresses and picked up Angela's contacts. We decided to go for dinner while Jessica parted ways with us after getting her dress as she had to head back to Forks.
I tried calling Bella a few times to let her know of our location as she doesn't know the area. Certain parts are a little dangerous at night alone but she hadn't picked up. As we were heading to an Italian place for dinner, after we dropped off our bags to my car, a familiar silver Volvo pulled up.
I wasn't surprised to see Bella and Edward stepping out of the car. "Stalking my sociopath sister now Eddie boy". I said in my mind as Edward stopped in his track.
It was hard to believe in the beginning, when I first found out about the Cullen that Edward could read minds, but I quickly discovered I was actually able to keep him out of my mind whenever I wanted with just a single thought.
"Hello Tristan, Angela". Edward said before I noticed his eyes widen a little bit looking at Angela.
Suppressing a smirk as Angela no longer had her glasses on and was now sporting her new contacts her brown eyes were larger. I also told her to always hold her head up high which was the first key to confidence to always look directly in the eyes.
"Why didn't you answer your phone?". I asked looking right at Bella who looked a bit frazzled.
"I got lost on my way back to the dress shop and got into a bit of trouble and I forgot my phone was in my bag". Bella said as her cheek turned red. I can see the fear in her eyes and Edward looked angry.
I honestly was hungry but I wanted to get Bella away from Edward when an idea hit me and I glanced over towards Angela then back at Edward, as I closed mind off to him.
"Well dad needs us at home so we better go now". I said to Bella before turning to Edward. "Do me a huge favor Edward, Angie here hasn't gotten any dinner yet and being the gentleman you are, please make sure she get something before you drop her off at home. Me and Bella ready need to leave". I said smiling innocently as I heard Angela gasped and Edwards looked at me with widen eyes.
"Tristan". Angela hissed looking at me with widen eyes.
"What it's not a problem. My brother-in-law is a complete gentleman and won't mind making sure my best friend get something to eat and home safely. Right Edward?". I said before looking at Edward himself who looked ready to strangle me. He sighed nodding his head running his fingers through his hair as Bella looked disappointed.
"Don't worry Tristan, Angela will be safe with me and I'm sure she'll call you when I drop her off". Edward said offering Angela a smile.
"Great, have fun you too and I'll call you later". I said before looking at Angela smirking. "Let's go Bella". I said grabbing Bella by the wrist.
She tried to protest but I dragged her away. I honestly didn't want to drive her home, but this was the perfect opportunity to get my ship sailing. I know when Angela saw me next I was going to get an ear full but it would be so worth it.

The drive back to Forks was a bit awkward as Bella sat in the passenger side seat or working, disappointed and upset.
As I drove by the police station it looked a somewhat busy which was unusual for this time of night. I pulled into the parking lot as I saw Dad's cruiser parked at the entrance. After finding Dad I learn that Waylon Forge a good friend of his had been found dead on his boat.
It didn't leave a good feeling in my gut as we all made it home. As we walked in Bella dropped her bag by the door heading to the kitchen. Her bag was open and out of curiosity I peaked inside to see a book.
My eyes widen as I looked at the cover to see it was a book on mythical creatures and folklore, which I immediately grabbed and hurried up to my room closing the door behind.
I was going to have to call Emmett to have him come over as it looks like Bella was getting closer to the secret. I really wanted to strangle her as she's sticking her nose in somewhere it doesn't belong, I don't understand what her obsession is with finding out instead of leaving it alone like a normal person which I know she isn't.
It was going to be a long night as I hid the book under the mattress to let her believe she lost it or something. I needed to do something to throw her off before she got us killed in the end. I grab my phone from my pocket and pressed my speed dial button for Emmett.
