A Premonition

The second chapter is finally here. I hope it was worth your wait. I'll try to update more often from now on.
I might include some slight Tears of the Kingdom references but no more than that so you don't have to worry about getting any spoilers. In the same spirit, I expect you to do the same in the reviews you'll write on this story. Please, respect those who haven't played/finished it yet.
Anyway, enjoy this chapter!

As Zelda finished cleaning Link's wound, she caressed his face feeling relieved that his wound would quickly be replaced by a scar, she still felt the need to warn him that even his strength has its limits. She didn't want to ever face his death, but deep down, his moves and utter need to fight and protect her really impressed her and she had to admit to herself they even turned her on a little.
Truthfully, these last few days of secret romance have brought her a feeling of happiness like she hadn't felt for a whole decade. She hadn't been this happy since her mother's passing.

Zelda then changed her position so she could rest her head on his shoulder for a little while. Link snaked his arm around her waist enjoying a moment of privacy and calm after the attack. As they watched the lifeless monsters that were all on the slope in front of them, Zelda realized something:

"It seems that there are more and more attacks of this type everywhere around Hyrule, and that the number of beasts we are facing is growing as well. This might be a worrying augury that Calamity Ganon is approaching.
If I'm right about this, then we should expect the worst and start our preparations for the unavoidable battle that is ahead of us. And if I'm wrong, at least, we'll be ready when the time comes."

"I think you're right, Zel. So we should work together on how to awaken this power of yours by going to the Springs of Courage and Power before your seventeenth birthday." Link said before placing a quick kiss on her lips and standing up. He then offered her his hand to help her stand up which she accepted with a small smile on her face.
Link then quickly rubbed his hand on her ass to wipe the dust away. He smiled when he heard the small moan coming out of her mouth.

"Yes, we should, my love" she answered before taking his hand in hers once again as they started to go back down the Eldin mountain. "But my birthday is in six weeks, giving us plenty of time to visit these two springs before going to the last one. And your birthday will be before mine, so we'll have to celebrate it too" she added as she placed a quick kiss on his cheek.

"I definitely hope so, Zel!"

Yes, I changed Zelda's words from the memory and I plan on doing it again on future chapters because I think it's better than just rewriting the memories' subtitles.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this new chapter. Don't hesitate to leave a review, just remember to avoid Tears of the Kingdom spoilers.
