AN: Welcome to another installment of "The Clear-Sighted Gamer"! As you can guess, this will be the first time this story intersects with the original plot. The current time is the 15th of December. The field trip to Olympus occurs on the 21st, so we have a couple days of story to go through.

Chapter 3: The Campers

-(o)-

Disclaimer: I don't own Rick Riordan's Universe. If I did, many characters would have gotten a better Fate

-(Remedy Adams)-

I slowly came out of my reverie. This time, {Calm Gaming} didn't stop my emotions; I wanted this elation to last for a while at least.

I took off my tattered windbreaker. It was absolutely shredded; there was no salvaging it. Same went for my hoodie and t-shirt; both were ripped and drenched in blood. Luckily, I have several more sets of clothing back at home; I won't need to buy new clothes for now. I instead started to rip the windbreaker into long strips, before tying the strips around the worst of the wounds.

You bandaged your wounds with improvised bandaging, +10% hp regained during sleep.

I quickly made some calculations in my head. According to the 9% health I gained from last night's sleep, if I can keep up a ten percent base healing rate from sleep, I would be in tip top shape in 5 days. It would be a bit hard if there are hidden factors affecting healing... and a pop up appears.

Sleep Quality Percentage affects benefits:

Percent of Rest recovered: Base 100% at 100% Sleep Quality

Percent of health recovered: Base 10% at 100% Sleep Quality

Percent of Mana recovered: Base 100% at 100% Sleep Quality

Modifiers to sleep quality percentage: base 100% after 10 hours sleep (applied in this order)

Amount of sleep: 10% per hour, max 10 hours

Sleep area:

Bed: +50%

Chair: +30%

Sleeping bag: +10%

Ground: 0%

Hard surface: -30%

Why are you sleeping on spikes?: -50%

Sleeping posture:

Flat: +10%

Sitting: 0%

Any uncomfortable position: -10%

Why are you sleeping tied up?: -30%

Other:

Noisy: -10%

Bright light: -10%

Too Cold: -10%

Too Hot: -10%

Exposed to blue light before sleep: -10%

Mental excitation before sleep: -20%

Mental Exhaustion before sleep: +20%

Slept with nice music: +20%

Slept with pain: -20% to -90%

Slept with injuries: percent increase +(1/10% of lost HP)%

While I bandage my wounds, let's think. Let's assume best possible results. Base of 100% sleep quality after 10 hours of sleep. Sleeping on a bed and with a flat posture, an additional 60%. Minus 20% from the pain. I lost around 87.5% of my HP, so an increase of 8.75% sleep quality. Avoid all negatives, exhaust myself and play some music before sleeping, so that will be a total of 188.75% sleep quality, equivalent to 28.875% health recovered (because of the +10% from bandaging myself up), with a total of around 3 days before HP is fully recovered.

After finishing bandaging up myself, I realized that I gotten a stat increase for Int, along with the congratulatory 10 extra EXP. Poking around my interface as I picked back up my stuff, it turns out Int scales with Max MP, at a rate of 1:5. Good to know.

As I limped back home, I remembered that I have levelled up, and that bought me +11 Stat points, +11 Skill points, and +1 Perk points. Because I leveled up to level 11 and I got +11 Stat points and Skill points out of it, I guess rewards for those two is equivalent to the level I just obtained. And while I have an idea about how these points are used, I bought up {Game Guide}'s answer to that question instead:

Stat points obtained = level

Use to increase stats, cost increases at a rate depending on your lifeform type. This represents a lifeform's potential. Should a creature's cost increase rate change, stats are reset to zero (Refunding the appropriate amount of stat points) before automatically put back in using the new cost increase rate.

Current cost increase rate: +1 for every 10 Stat

And Skill Points:

Skill points obtained = level

Use to buy new skills, train skills (equivalent to purchase price), and evolve skills (rare, x2 to x10 of original purchase price)

Finally, Perk points:

Perk points obtained = level/10, rounded down

Use to upgrade perks and evolve perks (rare, x2 to x10 of original upgrade price)

After seeing the answer for Stat point upgrading, I was a bit confused, so I tested it. Apparently, in order to increase my stats that are already over 10, I need to use 2 stats points to increase my stat by one. According to the {Game Guide} answer, this cost will increase every 10 stats, increasing by one. So, at this rate... I calculated in my head, both to figure out numbers and for another Int point. Once I get to level 100, I would get 100 Stat points at that level. From 11 Stat points per level to 100 Stat points per level. 100+11 is 111, 12+99 is also 111, so is 13+98, and so on. So, there will be 45 times 111 stat points, a total of 4995. As I walked I did more and more calculations, and my Int Stat went up 4 more times, especially after I got back in my home doing calculations in my house on paper instead of in my head. I eventually came up with a number: 311. If I get to level 100, and channel all my stat points into one stat (starting from 0), I would get a total of 311 in that stat. Equivalent to 3110 hp, allowing me to take damage from that Empousa's claws a total of 622 times. A lot just against the claw attack, but I am sure 3000 hp isn't anything impressive in the mythological world. And if I do that, I would not get any increase for any other stats. This mechanic is basically a power limiter on how powerful mortals can become; I suppose if my lifeform type changes into something more powerful, the cost increase rate will lengthen. I really need to figure out how to increase the "Perfection" of my lifeform (This sounds so stupid in my head).

Thus, I decided not to use any Stat points for now; I can still train for the points instead. As I got in the shower to wash off the dried blood, I instead bought up the Skill Purchase Menu:

Skills available for purchase: 11 points remaining

2 points: [Basic Club Wielding Level 1]: The usage of clubs, bats, cudgels, and other blunt instruments to hurt and kill (Full list of applicable weapons). + 1 to accuracy, + 1 to blocking, x1.1 to damage.

3 points: [Basic Willpower Level 1]: Multiplies mental resistance power by 1.1 when being affected by mental control (including magical)

1 point: [Basic Human Calculator Level 1]: Arithmetic calculation within the mind, increasing both speed and accuracy. +10 calculation speed and accuracy.

I looked at all three skills. They all start with a level of one, and the word "Basic"; I guess that's the tier the skill is at? Perusing the skills, I saw no reason not to take all of them; doing so would give me both more capability in different aspects and more skills to grind EXP with. Also, [Basic Willpower Level 1] would start to help in resisting magical sources of mental control. After all, {Calm Gaming} doesn't help with that. And with that, I used 6 Skill points to buy all the available skills.

Quest Complete!

[Learning Curve]

Claim Rewards: 100EXP, new Ability [Observe]

I read the notification as I gingerly dabbed at my wounds to dry them. That damn Empousa really did a number on me. At least she is dead now. Even if she isn't, and she really did come back for revenge, I am not too worried. From now on, I would only get stronger.

I took out my phone, and sent a message saying I am sick and will not come to work for the next couple days. Believe it or not, the manager over at my workplace is actually very decent, and he allowed the sick leave. Then I looked over my spoils for the day. All the items and books that I bought as training items, the Baseball Bat, and the bronze leg. Let's use observe on them all.

{Observe}: Observe the target of your examination giving you more detailed examinations. Generally, most information that is not deliberately hidden is divined and presented, though if the information is actively being concealed, the Examination will not detect it. If your target is a being, you will not get good examination results if they are 30 or more levels higher than you. If your target is a being on the level of a god, they can attempt to fail your examination in a Int to Wis contest.

Obviously, this skill is very important, even with the limitations. By getting more detailed examinations, I would be able to plan much better and use resources more efficiently, and being able to find out the status and abilities/skills of my enemies I can plan out tactics much easier. I decided to not wait any longer, and started examining.

Most of the training materials didn't give a different description, and attempting to examine myself instead brought up my Character screen. But examining my Baseball Bat gave very detailed information:

[Metal Baseball Bat]: Nice and strong. Good for whacking balls and caving skulls. This one is solid, end-loaded, and has a double handed grip.

Quality: Green

Rarity: Common

Durability: 750/750

Damage: 3d4 + Str (If Str exceeds Max dice damage, damage may be dealt to weapon on use)

Extra property: [Solid Metal]: Weapon does not break easily, damage towards weapon is lowered by 15.

Extra property: [End-Loaded]: Weapon +3 to crit

Extra property: [Two-Handed]: Weapon +3 to hit

Ah, to hit chance and to crit chance. I was wondering what the chances of these two were for me; maybe I was just lucky against that Empousa. As it turns out, the bat's Extra properties helped me out by tipping the odds in my favor. And as I suspected, the interface is really like some of the RPGs I played, and even has different levels of rarity and quality; Common to Artifact for rarity and Gray to Orange for quality.

Gray: trashy, basic, homemade item that is really weak. Likely prone to being destroyed.

White: Item made by someone who knows what they are doing, but nothing special.

Green: Specifically designed item. Most factory-made items are this level of Quality, along with some handmade items of this level.

Blue: May or may not be mass produced, but is the elite, best money-can-buy type of item.

Purple: Has magical or special properties that no amount of mortal money can buy, but might be purchasable from supernatural or unorthodox sources.

Pink: Elite items of powerful magic, among the best humanity can make

Red: Divine artifacts, represents the top items humanity can create and wield.

Orange: Items wielded by Gods, their Symbols of Power, and other items of this level.

I already figured that the Gods are real; after all, if the mythical monsters of Greek mythology exist, then the Greek Gods should also exist. What I don't understand is the part about divine artifacts and Symbols of Power, what does that mean? To my surprise, {Game Guide} didn't show me anything, probably because the question I asked isn't about the game but rather about the world. Guess that means I can't abuse {Game Guide} to help me find out the meaning of existence. Eh, I will figure it out later. Instead, I turned my Examination on to the bronze leg.

Celestial Bronze Leg: A automaton leg made from Celestial Bronze. This one is fitted for an Empousa.

Quality: White (Once Green) (Squeaky)

Rarity: Uncommon

Durability: 2500/2500

Equip effects (Can only be equipped through surgery): +10 Armor, +15 Dex, +50 kick damage, Attacks towards item decreases Durability instead of HP

Extra property: [Mythical Metal]: Item does not break easily, damage towards item is lowered by 450. Item has a damage threshold of 500 (damage less than threshold has no effect to item, but if more than threshold damage is calculated normally).

Extra property: [Mythical Slayer]: Damage is multiplied by 10 when used to kill Mythical beings

Extra property: [Ignores Mortals]: Passes through mortals like smoke when used to attack them

What in hell is Celestial Bronze? This thing is tougher than my Baseball Bat, and I specifically bought a Metal Baseball bat for the toughness! Durability, defense, armor all much better than my mortal made bat. In fact, I think the only reason the stat boosts are so low in comparison to its toughness is because its past owner didn't take care of the mechanisms and let it jam up. It even has the [Mythical Slayer] property, multiplying its damage by ten. I don't know how much improvised melee damage I do, but this property must be the reason I managed to even kill the Empousa. Becoming highly interested in using Celestial Bronze as a weapon, I tried to examine the material of the leg instead:

Celestial Bronze: A type of Mythical Metal. Mined from below Mount Olympus, shaped by tempering in Mount Etna and cooled in the river Lethe. Incredibly light and tough, but also very easy to shape and highly malleable, the perfect metal. Highly dangerous towards Monsters and other mythical beings, but ignores mortals as they are too unimportant to kill.

Items made from this material has these properties:

[Mythical Metal]: Item does not break easily, damage towards item is lowered by (At least 100). Item has a damage threshold of (At least 100)

[Mythical Slayer]: Damage is multiplied by 10 when used to kill Mythical beings

[Ignores Mortals]: Passes through mortals like smoke when used to attack them

[Finesse]: Str or Dex can be used to calculate damage from weapon

By far the most interesting part of the properties of Celestial Bronze is [Mythical Slayer] and [Ignores Mortals]. The first one multiplies damage to mythical beings by ten, a really useful trait now that I am committed to hunting down mythical monsters. The second property is probably the reason why the Empousa didn't try to kick me during our fight; her leg would have just phased right through and unbalanced her instead. I even decided to test this trait. I raised the leg like a bat, and swung it down on my hand, only to have it phase right through. Seems like that I would be safe from Celestial Bronze weapons if any enemies were to ever wield it.

I sat on my bed, my wounds twitching from pain as I moved, and held the leg in my hands. Inside it are probably complex mechanisms that allows it to work like an anatomically accurate limb, so there might by skills and knowledge to extract out of it through disassembly. For now though, training and sleep.

For today's training, I decided to try and solve the Rubik cube without instructions, only looking at the cheat sheet if I was absolutely stuck and couldn't even solve one side. I scrambled it, then really regretted my decision. I could not figure anything out, and the pattern I mixed it into was a convoluted mess. Still, I persevered, and managed to solve the white and red side, gaining 1 int and a very groggy head out of the deal. At least I will get the +20% for having mental exhaustion before sleep. I tuned my radio to a nice calm music channel, hit the lights and slipped under the covers.

"Well, Good night. Sweet dreams." And I fell asleep, happy knowing that what I just said was true.

-(Luke Castellan)-

The same couldn't be said for one poor camper at Camp Half Blood. He was not having a sweet dream. In fact, his dream was quite terrifying.

Meeting the King of the Titans, the Titan of time, was quite horrifying even in a dream.

"Luke... the time approaches..." A voice, ancient and unknowable. A so very dreaded voice hummed in the sleeping mind of Luke Castellan. But along with the horror of hearing what a human should not hear, a sense of new beginnings bubbled within him.

"Are we about to start the Plan, Master? The 21st, correct?" Luke already knew their plan to steal the Bolt and Helm for a long time, they have gone through it many times now. But it was still respectful to ask, and respect is very much needed when conversing with beings' way outside of human comprehension.

"Correct, faithful servant... Steal the Bolt and Helm... Drive the Olympians into a frenzy... And bring both to me... the Gods dare not tread this cursed realm where I am imprisoned. Remember, the 21st..." and the dark voice faded from his head as Luke woke up in a puddle of cold sweat. He shivered at the memory of the Titan, and almost regretted agreeing to help in his Plan.

At least he soon will start his revenge on the Gods.

-(Remedy Adams)-

Well. Pain was much more debilitating than I previously anticipated. Instead of 20% pain from my best-case scenario, I instead got 80% pain. What does this mean? It means that my original 188.75% sleep quality is actually 128.75%, and I only regenerated 22.875% of my health, now up to a measly 42.45 out of 120. So, I decided to not leave the house too much for the next couple days, and do a lot of training. No Physical training yet, though. Why? Because of this status effect:

[Healing Wounds]: When your HP is less than max, training Str, Dex or Con will reopen wounds, causing damage and healing debuffs.

I don't want to reopen my wounds; not only is it gameplay wise the stupid thing to do, I don't want to get hurt. Like any normal human being, I don't like pain, and reopening wounds cause pain. Of course, like the stupid person I am, I tried out my dumbbell before finding out about this status effect, so I got a -20% healing rate debuff, basically cancelling out an entire night of healing for me. If I was caught by a monster in this state, I might not even be able to run away. So, I decided to train my mental skills instead for the next five or so days. Let's hope I don't get bored to death.

(Five days later, Morning of the 21st)

So. Goddamn. Bored.

Over my five-day holiday of being stuck in bed and only leaving the house for food in order to not stress my body again, I have been doing a lot of mental training. My mental stats have increased by a total of 10: 2 in Cha (Low increase, because I didn't have human contact), 5 in Int, and 3 in Wis. I have been meditating, playing chess with myself, solving the Rubrik cube (4 sides now, yay), and reading all 4 books I got. I think it might be time to pick up some more books, in fact. Maybe some textbooks or SAT Practice Exams for me to practice on.

As it turns out, Wis affects the MP regen, with the regeneration rate being the same as the Wis Stat. Now my character sheet now looks like this:

HP: 120/120

MP: 105/105, +13/hr

Rest: 100%, -5%/hr

Stamina: 120/120, +60/hr when not in a state of high activity

Hunger: 120/120, -5/hr

Stats (11pts): Expanded

Str: 13

Dex: 10

Con: 12

Int: 21

Wis: 13

Cha: 13

Luc: 10

At least I am now fully healed, and moving around no longer puts me in danger of my wounds splitting open. And it wasn't like I could go to a hospital; they would be confused at how I got these wounds, and "I fell down the stairs" won't explain parallel claw marks crisscrossing my body.

Over the 5-day training holiday, I also used 5 stat points to pick up some skills, though I haven't increased them just yet:

[Basic Chess Tactics Level 1]

[Basic Puzzle Solving Level 1]

[Basic Magic Tricks Level 1]

[Basic Lying Level 1]

[Basic Convincing Level 1]

All of them are pretty self-explanatory, but in exchange I have no more skill points left. I also borrowed several books on Greek mythology; after all, to fight your enemy you need to know your enemy.

After I got done with my morning bath, I put on a new set of clothes (The bloody rags from the fight I already threw away) and picked up a tote bag. Inside was the Celestial Bronze Leg. I didn't dismantle it, for fear of breaking important inner mechanisms; it is much better for an expert to take it apart. So today, I am going out to find a machinist to take it apart and make it into a weapon; preferably a machinist that won't ask too many questions about... well everything. Or maybe a Gunsmith, it would be cool to have a gun that shoots Celestial Bronze bullets. I wonder how effective that would be, though.

I have already searched up the addresses of several Machine shops. It would be a miracle, of course, if even one of them understood what a magical material Celestial Bronze is, but I was willing to at least try. I walked towards one of the shops, a couple streets down, just 15 minutes of walking. As I walked, I randomly Examined everything interesting, marveling at how much extra information I was able to glean from the usage of the Observe skill.

As I was waiting for the light to turn green so I can go across the street, three large white vans drove past me. On it was the logo for a "Delphi Strawberry Service". On a whim I decided to Examine it.

Delphi Strawberry Service: A large, privately owned farm on the North Coast of Long Island that exports strawberries. Address is Farm Road 3.141, Long Island, New York 11954. Named after the Ancient Greek Oracle of Delphi. Site of some strange phenomenon and weird sightings.

Did I just stumble on something related to Greek Mythology? Not knowing whether I was lucky or unlucky, I looked at the back of the now disappearing vans, and decided to chase after them. Luckily for me, traffic was slow today, and the vans were moving at a rate of just quicker than jogging speed, so I was able to keep up while pretending not to keep up.

Eventually, the vans stopped in front of the Empire States Building. Definitely strange; pretty sure that no one in the building actually needs that many strawberries. I sat down on a nearby bench, and took out my Rubrik cube and stared at it intensely while taking side glances at the vans. Then, instead of crates of strawberries, people start disembarking. They are obviously not employees from the farm; instead, around 2 dozen teenage children come out of the vans, most of them wearing an orange T-Shirt with the words "Camp Half-Blood" on it. Along with them is a middle-aged man with thinning brown hair, bushy eyebrows, intense brown eyes, and a scruffy beard. He is sitting in a wheelchair, and seems to be leading this band of kids. Oh, and did I mention that they are all carrying Celestial bronze weaponry? Guess my choice to tail them was correct. Well, time for some rapid Examinations.

[Camp Half-Blood]: a Greek demigod training facility located on the north shore of Long Island. The camp is directed by the god Dionysus and Chiron. The camp has magical borders, ensuring that no monster or mortal could get into camp without invitation from someone already inside. This is the only safe place for Demigods within this region. The camp's cover name is the Delphi Strawberry Service.

I then turned Examine to one of the girls there:

[Annabeth Chase]: Annabeth Chase is the Greek demigod daughter of Athena and professor Frederick Chase. Annabeth is the current head counselor of Athena's cabin. Because her mortal family didn't like her, including her stepmother and stepsiblings, she ran away from home at the young age of 7, before eventually ending up at Camp Half-Blood. (Continue Examination for Character sheet, Enter combat for Status)

Age: 12

Emotion: She is currently excited

She is currently talking excitedly to an older teen beside her. He seems worried, though.

[Luke Castellan]: Luke Castellan is the Greek demigod son of Hermes and May Castellan. Luke is the current head counselor of Hermes's cabin. When he was nine years old, Luke ran away from his home because of his mother's unstable mental problems and absent father, before eventually ending up at Camp Half-Blood. (Continue Examination for Character sheet, Enter combat for Status)

Age: 19

Emotion: He is currently apprehensive

The children are followed by a middle-aged man in a wheelchair:

[Chiron]: Chiron is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood. He is an immortal centaur, son of Kronos and the Oceanid Philyra, and a famed trainer of heroes from Greek mythology, including Jason and Achilles. (Continue Examination for Character sheet, Enter combat for Status)

Age: Really Old

Emotion: He is currently serene

Of course, I continued Examination for them. I realized that all the children are actually children and offspring of various Greek Gods, and shared several traits: ADHD, Dyslexia, varying levels of Greek and Latin comprehension, and some combat skills. The most interesting bit of information I managed to get off the Examination is this perk:

Scent trails: Leave behind a trail of scent that monsters can use to track you down. This scent is the divine energy of your godly parent or ancestor leaking out, and gets more powerful over time. More powerful godly connections also equate more powerful scent, though it doesn't get too bad until your 13th birthday. You will be lucky if you survive to your 18th birthday.

Well. That is just sad, living your life knowing that you will likely never live older than 18. How do all of these kids even deal with it? Or are they too desensitized to react to this fact of their life? Guess this is the reason why they all have combat skills.

The group entered the building, with the one called Annabeth gushing to the man named Luke about the Architecture on... Olympus, and how excited she is to seeing it again? Does that mean Olympus is somewhere inside of the Empire States Building? Why? Where? How?

The man in the wheelchair, or rather centaur in the wheelchair, went up to the security guard, and asked for the card to the 600th floor of the Empire States Building. Strange, I don't remember the building having that many floors! The security guard looked up from his book, and passed the centaur a card, before waving the group to the elevators.

Of course, when I asked to go to the 600th floor of the Empire States Building, the security guard looked at me like I was crazy, and said that there was no such floor. When I insisted, he called security on me, and I was dragged back outside. I instead decided to wait for the group of demigods to come back down, and sat back on the same bench to mull over the vast quantities of knowledge I have just obtained.

I opened up my message board and set the listing to chronological, before starting going through all the surprises I found out in that order.

Their cover name is "Delphi Strawberry Service", does that have any deeper meaning? With how it seems that the Greek Gods have followed Human Civilization over to the US, maybe. If Olympus is actually on a nonexistent 600th floor of the Empire States Building, who's to say that the Oracle of Delphi isn't actually in a mysterious camp for demigods on Long Island? An entire camp of demigods with magical borders keeping out both normal humans and deadly monsters that want to eat them. This camp probably also has extensive training equipment for their campers, and I honestly want to get in for a tour. Their Bios did say how Annabeth and Luke are counselors for specific cabins that are named after the Greek gods, so there might be a large population of demigods in this camp right now. With how frisky the Gods were back in the ancient myths; I can see that they have not stopped their habit of having way too many relationships with mortals.

It is also evident that these demigods don't have happy lives. Some of them have permanent scars or internal injuries in their status effect screens. Their descriptions all have some form of childhood abuse, neglect from both the mortal and Godly parent, running away from home at an early age, and being very much traumatized by the monsters they have seen. Some even have perks called Childhood Trauma or PTSD, and they make my nightmares seem tame.

And yet the group that entered the elevator seems content. Happy with their life. Or maybe conditioned through long term stress to just not think about the horrors they seen and how their lives are on a much shorter clock than most others.

I decided to not wait for them anymore. Not like they would notice me, the normal mortal who knows nothing of their plight. At least, not until I help save a couple of their lives. Time to get some Celestial Bronze weaponry.

But as I got up from the bench to continue my journey to the nearest Machine shop, the elevator doors opened, and a camper dashed out in a hurry. Weird, it hasn't even been thirty minutes since they went up. It was Luke, the old, apprehensive one. He ran like his life depended on it, and I just managed to examine him as he ran past:

Emotion: Currently is RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

He was also holding two items. One was a Celestial Bronze cylinder, two foot long and spiked on both ends. The other was a helm of ancient Greek design. The cylinder seemed to crackle with static electricity, while the helm seemed to emanate fear and darkness. Knowing nothing better to do, I ran after him. As I ran, I managed to examine the two items he was holding, but didn't have time to read the descriptions yet.

In one swift movement, he ducked into a dark alley while putting on the helm. I just managed to see him disappear into the shadows as I turned the corner. Damn it, I wasn't able to catch up. At least I can see the examinations of the two items – Holy Fuck!

[The Master Bolt]: The Master Bolt is the symbol of Zeus' power, which all other lightning bolts are patterned after. It is the first and most powerful weapon that the Elder Cyclopes made for the Olympian gods. Packs enough power to make mortal hydrogen bombs look like firecrackers.

Quality: Orange

Rarity: Artifact

Durability: Infinite

Damage: Has 3 attack variants.

[Cataclysmic Explosion]: Hurl the bolt towards target. Only usable by Zeus or being of equivalent or higher power. 50 billion Dmg, extremely large AOE.

[Electric blast]: Single blast of lighting. 500,000 dmg, has AOE (x10 if child of Zeus, x1000 if Zeus)

[Lightning bolts]: Many normal damage lightning bolts across a vast area. 10,000 dmg per bolt, bolt number equal to level (x10 if child of Zeus, x1000 if Zeus)

And the Helm?

[The Helm of Darkness]: The Helm of Darkness is one of Hades' Symbols of Power. The Helm allows Hades to melt into shadows and pass through walls. While wearing it he cannot be touched, seen, or heard, and he can radiate fear so intense that it can easily drive a person insane or stop their heart. This is why most sane creatures fear the dark.

Quality: Orange

Rarity: Artifact

Durability: Infinite

Equip Effects (Head): +23000 Dex, +21000 Int, +20000 Wis, +52000 armor, -93000 Cha. (Stat change divided by 1000 when not worn by Hades)

Extra Property: [Imperceptibility]: Causes Wearer to fade into shadow, to become a shadow. Wearer can pass through walls and melt into and travel through shadows, not to be touched, seen or heard by anyone, even by beings of godly power. (Much less effective when not worn by Hades)

Extra Property: [Induced Terror]: Wearer can radiate death and terror to a tremendous degree. When utilized at full power, the Helm's aura of ineffable deadly terror is so intense, that it can easily unhinge people's minds and stop their heartbeats. Effective even on beings of godly power. (Much less effective when not worn by Hades)

So, this is what is meant by Symbols of Power. Weapons of the Gods... what was Luke doing with them? Wait, he was running for his life, so he stole them?! Why don't the Gods have better security?! All of the sudden, the skies darkened. Thunderclouds gathered in the sky, looking angry and furious. The temperature, already cold during the winter, dropped to freezing. As I looked up at the sky, I saw several streaks of light speed down from the tip of the Empire states Building and down to the ground: One gold, anther red, silver and grey landing at the same time; Zeus must have sent his children to find the thief. In the background I heard a Storm Warning; NYC never has those. But I knew what was happening.

The gods found out already. The Gods are angry now.

The most annoying Ability to balance is {Observe} It was rather hard to not leave loopholes in such ambiguous descriptions that you readers will point out such a loophole in the future.

The descriptions for the campers, Chiron, the weapons and the camp is adapted from the wiki.

As always, Favorite, Follow, and Review this story, I would appreciate it. I like constructive feedback. In addition, you can also leave an OC, using a similar format to above:

OC name

OC description (What they look like, powers, in game description etc.)

Suggested OC Stats (I still reserve the right to change any part of this I want, got to keep my game balanced)

I promised I will speed up updates for a couple days. While I am a bit late, I will post chapter 4 in two days.
