Mickey & Rose arrive at the house but unbeknown to them of what was laying and waiting ahead of them. Aurora was waiting for them as Mickey & Rose arrived at the mansion. She
greeted them warmly, seemingly like a perfect hostess. Aurora went straight over to Mickey and kissed him
"Mickey, Rose, glad you could come, my mother Mrs Newman has prepared a light pre-eclipse supper for us" she said happily.
"Nothing fancy mind you," Mrs Newman added, before everyone headed inside to the dinner table. The supper was uneventful, Rose was still very uneasy sitting at the table while eating, she glanced at her watch and she noticed someone was tracking in on her. Instantly she knew The Doctor was on his way Thank god, least he'll know what to do in situations like this, this place is giving me the creeps her thoughts were interrupting by Mrs Newman "More shrimp pasta." she held out a plate.
"Err no thanks I've had quite enough," she simply said. She wasn't referring to the meal however throughout the meal she had become increasingly sickened by Mickey's strange behavior & Aurora's apparent influence over him. He agreed with everything she said & never took his eyes off her. Rose looked closely at Aurora, her face seemed to have lost some of the good looks, at that moment Aurora began to speak.
"Mickey has told me he would like me to meet his aunty and if she approves" she stops to let Mickey continue
"If she approves, perhaps me and Aurora might be betrothed" he finished ecstatically. Rose had no idea what he meant
"Betrothed" she questions. Rose was really alarmed by the way Mickey was acting, he had only met her yesterday but already he wanted to be betrothed, well equivalent to being engaged and spend at least the next 50 years Where's the real you Mickey, damnit Doctor, where are you, I need you
"Earth, like a comfortable place to spend the next 50 years" Aurora responded so calmly, while behind her, a jealous Terry's face turns evil before he announces
"The eclipse has begun," he said gruffly. Aurora stood up; her eyes gleaming.
"Let us go up to the conservatory" Aurora triumphantly said.
