Chapter 16: Tuchanka

Rah lay down in the hammock he had set up in the cargo bay. Shepard had offered him a spot in the main crew quarters, saying that there was plenty of space, but Rah had declined. He'd told her that while he trusted her, he sure as hell didn't trust Cerberus.

With that, he had settled into the cargo hold nicely. He didn't have much to take up space with save for the equipment to maintain his armor, weapons and the ship. Hells, only thing he had to wear other than his undersuit was a pair of shorts and a few changes of boxers.

Rah pulled up his omni-tool and checked the time.

Three hours till we hit Tuchanka. Rah thought to himself. Plenty of time for a movie before I need to strap in.

Rah pulled up his list of movies stored on his local hard drive. He took a few minutes, but eventually decided on an old horror movie Aliens. Rah was never big into movies like Fleet and Flotilla and unfortunately, no one enjoyed the classics anymore.

Roughly half way through watching the ancient movie, Rah heard the elevator doors hiss open. He looked up to them and saw the one thing he would not have expected. Jack was walking towards him.

Out of anything, Rah had more expected either a cloaked Goto or Chambers to be the one striding out of the lift, not the bald headed biotic. The first two had certainly spent their fair share around him, much to his discomfort. All Goto seemed to do was try and get into his pants by some round about method, and Chambers was far too interested in him for her own good. Rah understood that it was Chambers' job to be the shrink of the ship, but for him, that kind of thing was well past working or being helpful for anyone.

"Nice surprise to see you here Princess." Rah called out to her. Jack scowled at the name, but Rah could see that it was some what forced.

Rah shut down his movie and omni-tool and gave Jack his full attention. While he had gone to her for the last day and a half, she had yet to show herself outside of her room. Every time Rah went to her it was with some meal, normally one that he had cooked up. Everytime, the two of them ate in silence. The only time either would speak was when Jack would ask him something. Rah could tell that even if he was only there, it seemed that she at the very least appreciated having someone there for a change.

"What can I do for ya?" Rah asked, giving her a lopsided grin.

"Why the fuck do you keep coming to see me?" Jack asked, snarling.

"I'll give you an answer, so long as you agree to answer one of my own. Deal?" Rah asked and Jack nodded, scowling at him all the while.

"Well, for one, you're practically a stick. I'd be surprised if you're not malnourished. I figured I'd get you to eat some real food for once." Rah smirked at her. Jack made a retort but Rah held up a hand, stopping her short.

"And you're the only person on this ship, aside from Sarge, that's interesting. An interesting person like you being lonely is never a good thing. I know better than anyone else on this ship that being alone after a life of being used is never a good thing." Rah told her, for once, letting his face show his sincerity and seriousness.

"The fuck do you know about being used?" Jack snarled. Rah could tell she wasn't finished so he didn't bother interrupting.

"The way I see it, this whole nice guy act is just that. An act. All guys are the same, you just want sex. If that's all it is, then maybe you should just fuckin' say so." Jack snarled.

Rah couldn't help it. He couldn't stop himself from laughing. His booming laughter filled the cargo bay, and soon after, the sound of him hitting the grating of the floor followed it. Rah literally laughed so hard that he rolled out of his hammock and crashed to the floor. Once he was there he needed a solid two minutes before he stopped.

"What the fuck are you laughing at?" Jack snarled looming over him.

"You realize how stupid that is right?" Rah chuckled, grinning up at her.

"If all I wanted was sex, I'd have gotten it from Goto. Lord knows that if I asked, her panties would be off before I could get the first word out." Rah told her sheepishly.

"Then why the fuck do you keep coming to see me?' Jack snarled. Rah looked to see the stunned look in her eyes that her face didn't show.

"I told you." Rah grinned to her, standing up.

"I know what it's like being what you and I have been through. We need someone to lean on should we need it. I've managed to get through life without it, but I've had hundreds of mates that had my back along the way. You've had no one." Rah told her simply.

"I want to give you the chance to be more than just an angry psycho. Being a psycho that people like being around is so much better." Rah told her.

"Now, my question. Will you accept it?" Rah asked, offering his hand out.

"Whatever." Jack snorted. The slim biotic turned her back on him and left the cargo hold.

Rah let out a sigh when the doors closed. That could have gone better, but it also could have gone much, much worse.

"Unlikely." Fox told him, her avatar appearing next to him.

"That went the best it could have given her current mental state along with yours." Fox told him, glancing at him from the corner of her eye.

"You've never had a problem with my mental state before." Rah told her, still looking at the lift doors.

"You know you should go after her right?" Fox asked. "Your hormones certainly know it."

"And so do I." Rah replied. "But she's the type that you don't push too fast to accept the help she needs. She needs to realize it on her own."

Rah shook his head and turned to his armor.

"Best get suited up now." He grumbled and grabbed his undersuit.

"Alright ladies listen up!" Shepard barked looking around the cargo hold.

She looked at the assembled ground team, now with the addition of Rah, and grunted. There were too many to bring with her. She wanted to spend as little time on the Krogan planet as possible, so she had to get both Grunt's and Mordin's problem taken care of quickly.

"We're breaking up into three teams for our time on Tuchanka. One will go with Grunt and I, one with Mordin, and one will stay here on the ship." Shepard told them all, noticing the shifting from some of the team.

"Miranda." Shepard looked to the icy woman. "You're in charge of the Normandy while I'm groundside."

"Jacob and Samara, you two are staying on the ship. Make sure Miranda doesn't take over the galaxy while I'm gone." Shepard smirked to the two.

All three of them nodded and Jacob saluted.

"You three are dismissed." Shepard nodded to them. They nodded and entered the elevator.

Shepard turned back to those that were still left.

"Zaeed, Tali, Garrus. You three are coming with Grunt and I to find out what's wrong with him. Knowing Krogan, this won't be a simple milk run." Shepard told them.

"Who knows." Garrus mussed. "Might find Wrex while we're there."

Shepard chuckled and held in a grin at seeing that Tali's eyes lit up. Shepard knew that the old Warlord and the young Quarian were close on the first Normandy, almost like an odd uncle-niece relationship.

"Major Carmine!" Shepard barked, turning to her old squadate.

"Sarge?" The N7 asked uncomfortably. Shepard knew that the marine never wanted to become an officer after becoming an N7, but he couldn't exactly refuse Admiral Hackett promoting him all the way up to major.

"You are to lead the team that will accompany Doctor Solus." Shepard ordered.

"Yes sir Sarge." The N7 grunted. While Rah out ranked her, her rank as a Spectre trumped any rank she held in the Alliance.

"Jack, Kasumi, Thane. The three of you are to go with Major Carmine and Mordin. Treat him just as you'd treat me." Shepard ordered the three of them.

"Whatever." Shepard heard Jack mutter under her breath.

Shepard looked to both Kasumi and Thane. While Thane looked to the armored N7 with an appraising look and then satisfaction, Kasumi had a very different reaction. Kasumi had a look of pure and utter joy on her face. It didn't take a genius to realize that the lithe asian woman clearly had something for the marine.

"My team will go down first. After that, the shuttle will come back and pick up Major Carmine's team." Shepard barked to them.

"My team, saddle up. Let's get this done with." Shepard ordered.

She ducked into the shuttle, hearing the sounds of all of the others jumping into motion.

"Rah you good with this?" Shepard asked over her one way com to him.

"Nothing I can't handle Sarge." His reply came. Shepard could hear the grin in his voice as he spoke. Shepard knew that tone all too well. He had something planned to solve his problem without making the best thief in the 'verse pissed at him.

"You fuck this up and I will never let you live it down." Shepard smirked at him.

"Wouldn't have it any other way Sarge." Rah chuckled back at her.

Once the shuttle was full up, Shepard ordered the pilot to take them out. Shepard strapped herself in and waited for their descent into the hell that was Tuchanka.

Rah waited until the cargo bay door closed before turning to the four that had been put under him.

"Alright. You've got twenty to make sure you have everything you need. Take the time to go piss now if ya need it. It'll be a while before we get to a rest stop." Rah barked to the four of them and then turned to Mordin.

"You said you were looking for one of your former students right Doc?" Rah asked the Salarian.

"Correct, heard that he was captured by a clan on the planet. Fear for his life due to work on Genophage." Mordin replied, the words flowing out of him at a mile a minute.

"Glad my intel's right then." Rah muttered to himself.

"I've got contacts on Tuchanka. Your student's being held by a Clan Weyrloc. Not that big, but they have a rep of being more violent than the rest of their kin." Rah told him and Mordin simply blinked at him, processing the information.

"My contact gave me the location of where he's being held. It'll be hot when we get there, so bring anything you need to deal with serious injuries." Rah told him simply and Mordin nodded.

"Will do. Curious to know how an N7 has such resources at his disposal." Mordin mussed.

"There are some groups in the 'verse that can best the STG at their own game Doc." Rah grinned to the Salarian, even though he couldn't see it behind his helmet.

"Fair point." Mordin replied with a knowing smirk and turned to the elevator.

Rah noticed that Kasumi had disappeared, but nothing on is HUD showed that the thief was still in the bay. She must have taken his advice seriously.

Rah looked and noticed that Thane had settled onto a crate and was simply waiting, his eyes closed and his lips moving as if in prayer. Jack was still in the bay too, but she was leaning against a wall and pointedly avoiding looking at him.

Rah shrugged to himself. No use starting something that didn't need to be started.

He walked himself over to the outward access panel to his fighter's storage container. He grinned at the various weapons that the container housed thanking for the millionth time that he was a weapons expert.

Rah flipped on his music player in his armor and let the sound come out through his speakers. He grinned as he reached into the container when the first song came on.

"Look at all the lonely hearts, shivering out in the dark." Rah sang and pulled out a rocket launcher.

"Hiding from the truth, cover up the proof." He sang, clipping the heavy weapon to his back.

"Demons that I've tried to hide, imprison me in my own lies." Rah sang, pulling out a grenade launch and clipping that to his back as well.

Rah kept on singing with the music as he pulled out an armory worth of weapons and clipped them onto his armor. Once he was satisfied with his selection, he began shoving thermal clips into the various pouches and slots on his armor to hold them all. It was a matter of pride for him to be able to wear half a ton of armor, weapons, and ammo and still be able to fight and move as if he were wearing a normal soldier's light kit.

Rocket and grenade launchers, Avenger, Black Widow, Claymore, Scimitar, two Hornets, two Carnifex's, combat knife, four frags. Rah mentally went through his list of weapons, checking off each as he went.

Wish I could bring Sasha. Rah chuckled to himself mentally, or at least he thought.

"Who the fuck is Sasha?" Jack snapped at him.

In his mental state of going through his weapons, he hadn't noticed that both the song had changed and that he had stopped singing. At some point, Jack had wondered her way towards him. Now she was looking at him with a scowl on her face, but a look of hurt and confusion in her eyes.

"Didn't think I said that out loud." Rah replied sheepishly. He opened the weapons container again and reached into the very back.

"This." Rah spoke, heaving as he pulled out the gun. "Is Sasha."

Rah held up the beauty that was the old weapon. Thanks to his loving care for it, and many upgrades and replacements, the machine gun that he had used during the Blitz on Elysium was still alive and kicking.

Rah grunted as he held aloft the six barrelled machine gun. In it's day during the First Contact War, the weapon was normally used on a tripod. Rah had since modified it to be held in both hands and fired at the hip. Thanks to the rate of fire that she spat out lead, there was no point in aiming. It gave a whole new meaning to the phase "spray and pray".

"She weighs one hundred fifty kilos and fires at ten thousand rounds a minute." Rah grinned, looking at the weapon in his hands lovingly.

"Damn near costs me a fortune every time I use her, but damn is it worth it." Rah grinned, looking back at Jack.

Rah was puzzled as to why there seemed to be a relieved look to Jack's eyes. Rah pushed it away. No point wondering over unimportant details.

"Riiiiiight 'unimportant' this is why you're not an admiral." Rah heard Fox goad him in his mind.

Swear to God Fox, if you had a body, I'd shove my foot up your ass. Rah scowled at his AI.

"Promises." Fox smirked to him.

"Interesting." Thane spoke up, looking at him and the weapon in his hands.

"Something on your mind Krios?" Rah asked. The Drell assassin had been one of the only crew members that Rah couldn't read like a book.

"The naming of a tool is not healthy for one's mind, yet so many humans seem to do it." Thane told him coolly.

"We've got different reasons for it." Rah shrugged, carefully putting the machine gun away.

"For me, I'm already mentally insane, so why not?" Rah chuckled, but then turned more sober when he continued.

"The previous owner died on Elysium. My thought is that every time I use that, I honor her and her memory." Rah spoke, looking down at his right arm. Her's was the first name to be added to his body. Her's was the first to begin his path into the darkness that is his life.

"Was she someone you knew?" Jack asked quietly.

"Nope!" Rah replied cheerily, knowing that his face told how much he was faking the emotion.

"She was a complete stranger. In the blitz, I failed to keep her alive. The Alliance may consider it to have been a victory, but for me it was a crushing defeat." Rah told them.

Before either of them could go on, the cargo bay doors opened and the shuttle glided into the bay.

"Goto!" Rah barked over the team comms. "You're time's up! Let's move it!"

"Give me a minute." Kasumi replied over the line, her voice holding a tinge of fright and fear.

Shepard strode through the camp of Clan Urdnot. The looks that she and her team received were mostly scowls and looks of promised death. Shepard simply smirked at them as she and her team strode through the Urdnot camp. She'd found out a crucial bit of information and was now heading straight to the clan's chief.

When they were only a few feet from the rubble made ramp that lead up to the chief's throne, Shepard could hear a Krogan barking at the chief. It seemed that the Krogan that was talking was upset at something the clan had done. Shepard didn't pay it any mind, instead focusing on the Urdnot Clan Chief.

When Shepard tried to step onto the small platform that the ramp lead to, two massive Krogan stepped up to them, blocking their way.

"Shepard!" The bellowing voice of Wrex called out from the throne.

In moments, the massive Krogan pushed past his underlings and wrapped Shepard into a back breaking hug.

"Nice to see you to Wrex." Shepard gasped out, the wind knocked out of her.

"Um Wrex?" Garrus asked the Krogan Warlord. "Shepard kinda needs to breathe."

Wrex let go of Shepard and she labored to pull in the air she needed.

"I knew that nothing could keep you down for long." Wrex chuckled and helped Shepard back to her feet.

"You know me too well old friend." Shepard chuckled and the two soldiers clasped arms.

"Good to see you again Tali." Wrex smiled fondly to the Quarian.

"You too Wrex." Tali replied, just as warmly.

"So what brings you here Shepard?" Wrex asked, a smirk on his face.

Garrus cleared his throat and Wrex looked to him for the first time.

"Oh." Wrex said, in mock deflation. "I guess it's good to see you too Turian."

Garrus chuckled and shook his head. "Great to see you again Wrex."

Much to the shock and horror of the other Krogan around them, Garrus and Wrex clasped arms like old friends would.

"What?" Shepard asked. "I can't come to say 'hi' to an old friend?"

"You could." Wrex chuckled. "But not when you bring this much firepower."

"We're here about him." Shepard pointed to Grunt over her shoulder.

"Step forward whelp." Wrex grunted and Grunt did as ordered, giving Shepard a hesitant look.

Wrex sniffed the tank born Krogan and shook his head in disgust.

"What clan are you from whelp?" Wrex growled.

"I have no clan." Grunt growled back.

"He was made in a tank by Warlord Okeer." Shepard offered.

"A tank bred!" The Krogan that had been complaining to Wrex before snarled out.

"We should kill it on the spot!" The Krogan barked and the weapons of Shepard and her team were all in their hands, pointing at the offending Krogan.

"Try and I'll have your quad for lunch." Shepard growled.

Wrex's booming laughter filled the tense air around them.

"She would too!" Wrex boomed in laughter.

"Shepard I swear, you have a bigger quad than any Krogan I know." Wrex laughed.

"What did you think is on my chest Wrex?" Shepard laughed back.

"Fair point." Wrex chuckled. Shepard glanced at Garrus and saw the look that gave away he was about to have some smart assed comment.

"You say anything Garrus and I will tell your folks." Shepard whispered to him, her voice being drowned out mostly by the laugh of Wrex.

Garrus' face took on a look of utter horror. The Krogan around them noticed and all began roaring in laughter.

"So really, what is it that brings you here Shepard?" Wrex asked.

"Something's wrong with Grunt here." Shepard nodded to the young Krogan.

"Nothing's wrong with him, he just needs his rite of passage." Wrex shrugged.

"Absolutely not!" The Krogan that had been complaining boomed.

"Clan Urdnot may be the largest clan, but you have gone too far Wrex!" The Krogan boomed, stepping up to Wrex and Shepard's team.

Shepard reared back her head and then slammed it into the headplate of the offending Krogan. Shepard felt blood begin to drip down her forehead but smirked at seeing that the plate of the Krogan had been completely shattered.

Thanks Cerberus. Shepard thought grimly, thanking them for the new skull they had given her.

"You think he's not a true Krogan just because he wasn't born from a womb?" Shepard snarled to every Krogan around her.

"Grunt is more Krogan than any of you could even hope to be." Shepard snarled.

"Then why do you fight his battles for him." The offending Krogan snarled, obviously enraged by Shepard.

"Grunt is under my command. You insult him, you insult me." Shepard snarled at him.

"She's got you there." Wrex smirked to the offending Krogan.

"Come on Shepard, let's get your boy here his rite." Wrex chuckled, motioning for her and her team to follow him.

Shepard and her team stepped out from the transport that took them to where Grunt's rite of passage would be held. They all looked at the crumbling arena they had stopped outside of with disinterest.

The arena was old and crumbling, just like the rest of Tuchanka. Out of the center of it, a massive spire rose out into the heavy air.

"This is it?" Shepard asked

"It's not much. But it's all we've got." The shaman of Clan Urdnot grumbled to them.

Everyone in the team looked around, feeling as if something was watching them.

"We should get this over with." Grunt mused.

Everyone around them nodded in agreement, They began walking towards the arena, but stopped when a massive, booming crack filled the air.

"Was that what I think it was?" Garrus asked his Mantis in his hands.

"It was." Shepard replied.

"Shepard to Carmine, come in!" Shepard barked over the inter squad comms.

"He's busy Shepard, what is it?" Jack's laughing voice came over the comms.

Shepard saw that everyone in her team was chilled. Jack laughing was never a good thing. It was even creepier to see that whatever it was that was making her laugh, was making her actually enjoy herself.

"What the fuck was that noise?" Zaeed growled at the biotic over the comms.

"God spoke." Jack chuckled over the comms.

"Did you really just call me God?" Rah's voice came over the comms. A second later, another crack filled the air.

"Got a problem if I did?" Jack chuckled back. Shepard didn't want to know where this conversation was going and quickly cut the link between the two squads.

"Aww." Zaeed pouted, a grin on his face. "It was just gonna get good."

"This is way you only have half a face Zaeed." Tali barbed, shaking her head. Zaeed's roaring laughter filled the air around them.

Zaeed was cut short when two more rapid succession cracks filled the air.

"Hope they make it out." Garrus muttered more to himself than to anyone.

"Rah's been in worse spots before. They'll probably end up finding a case of beer some how." Shepard replied.

"Come on. Let's get this started." Shepard motioned for the shaman to lead the way.

The team followed the aged Krogan into the crumbling arena.

The shuttle touched down outside of one of Tuchanka's massive, wasted cities. Rah stepped out of the shuttle first, unslinging his Black Widow from his back.

"Mordin's old student is being held in an abandoned hospital about a click into the city." Rah told them over their team wide comms.

"Terrain is too rough in the city for the shuttle to land so we need to hoof it there." Rah told them.

"I'm picking up something." Foxtrot spoke in his ear.

What have you got? Rah asked mentally.

"I'm picking up massive seismic activity headed our way" The AI replied and Rah's eyes widened.

"Alright people!" Rah barked to his squad. "Into the city! Double time!"

Rah began jogging towards the city, keeping his head on a swivel looking for the tell-tale trail of dirt coming from a tunneling Thresher Maw.

The others took his orders and ran ahead of him. Rah noticed that Jack was hanging slightly back, staying only a meter away from him.

Before Rah had the chance to comment, the ground beneath them shook violently. Rah looked down to see that the earth beneath him and Jack was beginning to open up like a massive mouth.

"JACK!" Rah shout, diving toward the biotic.

Jack looked down and swore right when Rah reached her. Rah grabbed her by the top of her pants and one of her harness' straps. He lifted her up and flared his biotics.

"THANE! CATCH!' Rah barked out. The Drell turned and looked just in time to see Rah throwing Jack towards him. The Drell's own biotics flared to life when he caught Jack.

Rah looked down to see that the Thresher Maw was eating it's way through the earth up to him. At the last moment, Rah rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding being swallowed whole by the massive creature.

The Thresher Maw roared in anger as it rose into the open air. The creature looked down at Rah and reared back.

"Eat this." Rah snarled to the massive worm, sighting his Widow in the thing's mouth.

Rah fired into the mouth of the Thresher Maw. His rifle bucked in his hands and let out a deafening boom.

To his relief, the round went straight through the back of the creature's neck. Unfortunately, he missed by an inch.

"Light it up!" Rah barked out to the squad.

Rah rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding a glob of the creature's acidic spit. Rah ran in a massive circle around the creature, hearing the rounds from his team biting into the creature's flesh.

"Shepard to Carmine, come in!" Shepard's voice barked out over the team's comms.

Rah kept his helmet from broadcasting when he roared at the massive worm. The creature was daring to turn towards his team.

Rah's biotics flared to life around him and he flung himself at the creature. Just as they always did, his biotics carried him towards the creature. As he raced towards the creature, with no thought at all, he pulled out his combat knife and slung his Widow. The blade to the knife was nearly a foot long, and sharp enough to cleave through bone. When he was right next to the creature, Rah pushed off the ground, his biotics carrying him up twenty feet into the air.

"He's busy Shepard, what is it?" Jack's voice came over his comms.

Rah reached the head of the massive creature and landed on it's ugly face. Rah roared and stabbed downward into one of the creature's eyes. The Thresher Maw let out a horrifying cry of rage and pain.

"The fuck was that noise?" The gravely voice of Massani asked.

"God spoke." Jack replied, laughing.

Rah pulled his knife from the creature's eye and jumped backwards off of the creature.

"Did you really just call me God?" Rah asked, sheathing his knife and pulling his Widow back out. Rah sighted down his scope and fired at the Thresher Maw. His round hitting home in the creature's skull.

The force of his Widow going off rocketed him to the ground. Even falling towards the ground at a ridiculous speed, he watched the Maw cry out in pain before falling to the ground itself.

"Got a problem if I did?" Jack asked in a chuckle, her voice almost suggestive.

He heard the link between his team and Shepard's being cut, only moments before he hit the ground. Rah felt his armor lock up around him and he crashed into the ground. Even with the armor locks to keep his bones from shattering, the air was still batted out from his lungs.

"Not really no." Rah replied once the air returned to his lungs.

"Major Carmine?" Thane's raspy voice came over the comms. "Are you injured?"

"Just peachy." Rah replied and released the locks on his armor.

His body flopped down into the crater that had been created by his landing. He held up his arm so that his hand was visible over the ledge of the crater. He held up a thumbs up and then flopped back down.

"Thank God I'm wearing a tank." Rah muttered, unaware that his comms were still open.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Kasumi shouted over the comms, making him wince in pain. He looked to see that the lithe thief had raced over to him and was kneeling next to him in the crater.

"I fell from orbit in my last set." Rah groaned, feeling that he'd somehow broken two ribs.

"I am literally wearing a tank. No reason to not use it to my advantage." Rah chuckled at the horrified look on the asian woman's face. Rah felt a wave of frozen bliss wash over him when a dose of medi-gel was released into his system. It would keep the pain from his ribs to a minimum, and keep him from hurting himself as he kept fighting.

"Need a hand?" Jack asked, having made her way over to him.

"Yep!" He replied cheerily. "Kind like a turtle in this thing."

"Come on." Jack chuckled, a smile on her face when she dropped into the crater as well.

She offered a hand to him and he took it, all the while unable to get out of his mind that she looked radiant when she smiled.

Snapped the fuck out of it. Rah ordered himself, feeling his body temperature rising.

"To late." Fox smirked in his ear.

And you can shut the fuck up. Rah scowled at his AI.

"Awwwww. You know you love me." Fox smirked and Rah didn't bother replying.

Jack's biotics flared to life, anchoring herself to the earth. She nodded to him and Rah pulled himself up. Rah nodded to her in thanks and stepped out of the crater. He looked to see that both Thane and Mordin were looking at them in amusement. He could see that they were talking to each other, but he couldn't read what it was.

He looked around and noticed two of the scavengers of Tuchanka's desert were already moving in. In rapid succession, Rah snipped the heads off of both of them.

"Alright people let's move it! Don't want to be here when more scavengers come." Rah barked and began running towards the city.

A/N: On a roll with these! Going to be hitting parts of both missions in the next chapter along with a little something extra afterwards.

Anyways, thank you all for still reading, and a massive thanks to Mordinette for reviewing the last few chapters.

Hope you all enjoyed!

Until next time!
