EPOV

"Shout as much as you want." I said, "It's not going to change the fact!"

"Fuck you." she said.

"You fuck off." I snapped, but she had already disconnected the call.

I pulled my hair in frustration. She was being ridiculous!

She would never accept her mistake, would she?

"Yeah, fine! Let's end this!" I snapped, "But I'd like to say one thing before that. Thank you so much for making me realize that I was always right about one thing - Love is nothing but bullshit! I swear, I'll never fall for this trap again!"

I hung up and threw my phone on the bed.

I was fucking tired of this bullshit.

But I realized an hour later that I might have overreacted, so I thought of calling her back, but then I stopped myself.

No!

I wasn't going to call back and apologize this time around.

She needed to realize that she had overreacted.

She needed to show some trust in me.

Yeah, I wasn't going to call her.

If she cared about me, she would call me.

And then, I waited, and waited.

It had been a month since our last conversation, and she didn't call me. There wasn't even a text message!

Meanwhile, James and I had started having differences. He was trying to make absurd decisions to expand the business which I totally disagreed with.

And his fucking ego! Man, it was getting so difficult to work with him!

And today he punched me during a heated argument saying I was a bastard and I played with his sister's life!

I was shocked.

Like, what the fuck did that even mean?

Like, how exactly had I tried to 'play' with her life?

We were in a relationship, and that didn't work out, and I doubted if I was the one who should be blamed for that!

Fucking siblings! Both of them were just... idiots, and they were making my life hell! I was done with them!

I decided to go to the pub that evening. I just wanted to get drunk and forget about all the bullshit.

"One more, please." I said to Jessica, the bartender.

I realized I already had way too many drinks, but I didn't want to stop.

"Hey..." The woman sitting beside me smiled at me, "I'm Lauren."

"Hi, I'm Edward Cullen." I said.

"I must say you're quite handsome," she said as she took a sip of her drink and gave me a seductive look.

I chuckled.

"No, I'm..."

I'm not interested. I wanted to say.

But I stopped myself.

Maybe this was what I needed.

I needed to move on.

Fuck Bella Swan.
