"Gah! When we're ready?! How are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us like... like... sidekicks!" Wally ranted, moving around the room. Tricity and I stood stoically, waiting for something interesting to happen. Well, not that we didn't know what would happen, but still.

"My mentor, My king. I thought he trusted me." Aqualad spoke up, after having been silent for pretty much everything.

"Trust?! They don't even trust us with the basics! They've got a secret HQ, IN SPACE!" Wally continued, making me snigger. I looked at Robin, who, I noticed, had neglected to include himself in the conversation.

"What else aren't they telling us?" Aqualad wondered.

"I have a better question." Ahh! He speaks! "Why didn't we leave with Speedy?" Ooo, I was waiting for that one. The two other boys crossed their arms and looked guilty.

"What is Project Cadmus?" Aqualad asked, looking back up at Robin. I smirked and Tricity and I shared a knowing look. And so it begins.

"Don't know. But I can find out." Robin flashed a grin and turned to the giant League computer-thing. The boys followed and Tricity and I trailed behind.

"Here we go." I whispered to her.

"Yeah! Time to meet Supey!" She grinned widely. I then noticed her glancing at Wally occasionally.

"Sooo... having fun staring at the superhero? You do realize he's two years older than you, right? And he gets a girlfriend later in the series." I said, looking sidelong at her. She glared at me, her bright blue eyes narrowing.

"Asshole." She muttered. We were drawn back to what was going on at the computer-thingy when it beeped and said in the same voice as the zeta-tubes:

"Access Denied." I walked over to stand beside Robin, who was about the same height as me. I looked up at the thingy as Robin punched in keys rapidly, numbers flashing over the screen at Flash-speed.

"Wanna bet?" Robin smirked.

"Woah. How are you doing that?" Wally asked. Tricity was still staring at him when she thought I wasn't looking, and I grinned slightly.

"Same system as the batcave." I quoted from memory, stealing Robin's line yet again.

"How did you know that?" He wondered, looking at me suspiciously. I smiled at him and replied,

"Because I'm psychic." It was my answer to everything, and this was no exception. I felt Tricity laugh behind me and my grin widened. Robin turned back to the computer.

"Access Granted." The thingy beeped. Robin stopped typing in keys and I looked up as the file containing the information about Project Cadmus opened.

"Alright, Project Cadmus: Genetics Lab, here in DC. That's all there is." Robin looked slightly confused at the lack of information. He then turned back to his friends, "But if Batman's suspicious, then maybe we should investigate."

"Solve their case before they do. " Aqualad said.

"It would be poetic justice." Tricity replied, catching on to my line-stealing habit.

"Hey, they're all about justice." Robin laughed.

"But they said stay put." Aqualad mentioned. Tricity and I shared another secret look, waiting for the inevitable.

"For the blotting out the sun mission, not this." Robin answered.

"Wait, are-are you going to Cadmus? Because if you're going, I'm going." Wally turned his friend around to face him. They both turned back to look at Aqualad with wide smiled plastered on their faces.

"Just like that, we're a team on a mission?" Aqualad wondered, a frown still etched onto his face.

"We didn't come for a playdate." Robin pointed out, smirking. Aqualad narrowed his eyes and smirked. I cleared my throat loudly behind them.

"Umm, excuse me, but you aren't going anywhere without us." I gestured to me and Tricity, who nodded in agreement.

"But, you aren't superheroes." Wally pointed out.

"Excuse you. We've got superpowers too. Just because we haven't been crime fighting since we were 8 doesn't make us completely useless." Now I was offended.

"I'm sorry, but what qualifies you to help us?" Kaldur asked uncertainly.

"I'm sorry, but did you miss the whole psychic thing? I kind of know what's going to happen." I tapped my temple in response.

"Well, can't you tell us?" Robin asked impatiently.

"No, I can't. Do you know nothing about clairvoyance? If I tell you the future, it not only creates a paradox and changes the future itself, but it could also rip apart the fabric of space and time." I replied hotly. "Idiots."

"Yeah. Also, if you don't let us come, we'll tell Bats where you went." Tricity said bluntly. Wally sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Fine, you can come. But if you get in the way, you're gonna pay for it." He stated.

"Suuuure. Whatever." Tricity and I waved him off, leading the way out of the Hall.

"Sooo... which way are we going again?"

A/N OMG I AM SOOOOOO SORRY! I just started school again and I've been super busy. I'm taking two honors classes and my English teacher is crazy. I haven't been able to update at all and I feel really bad. But on another note, I've taken a renewed interest in this story, and I'm gonna have lots of fun writing it. I'm also working on some new stories, as my friends got me into anime last year and I'm coming up with some new stuff. On top of that I'm writing some original stories, so I have to work on those. But I promise I'll have time for my old Fanfics. I might be rebooting some though so watch out for that. This one might get some minor edits, as this was the first story I published and so it isn't particularly wonderful with regards to grammar and writing style, and I might change some of the beginning stuff with Bats and Robin. of course, I'll still keep the awesome cape part, but whatever, you guys probably don't want to hear me rant about random shit. Anyways, Byes! :D
