Well another miracle I am writing after a new post again. If I keep this up I might actually get to the Cell saga before I get writers block again. But I will try my best to keep up this pace. Again thank you for reading.

I guess I know the first thing I am going to train to improve. I am exhausted, the others have had to fly slower than what they would have if I wasn't with them, and we keep losing altitude because of me also. At least we are almost home. As soon as I thought that I kid you not I dropped and couldn't bring my ki back up to fly. But at least Piccolo caught me. 'thank you big green uncle' I thought too exhausted to talk.

Pretty soon I could see the small dome of our home and great grandpa Gohan's little house behind our main house. We all landed and started to walk up to the house. I quickly hid in the back of the group and let everyone else walk in first. I could hear the happiness in Mother's voice when she saw Dad with Gohan. They were soon all laughing and talking together this is what I missed, home.

"Oh, Chichi, I have a surprise for you." Dad then motioned for me to come over to them. "We found Kaien. Our baby girl is finally home." I soon walked out from my hiding spot behind Piccolo to face Mother. She hasn't changed at all either, she still looks like I sophisticated, and graceful, quick tempered princess she has always been.

"Hello mother," I mumbled. She then got an angry look on and marched over to me. Next I now my head was turned to the side and my right cheek was stinging. "If you really are my daughter, you would have been able to block that slap. I taught my daughter that if she was going to fight like barbarians do than to always protect her face so she could find her a suitable, rich husband. But look at you, your face is covered in hideous scars. Plus my daughter wouldn't shrink away when I yelled at her she would yell right back at me. My daughter would have found her way home quicker than three years. My daughter is a strong, quick thinking, feisty young woman look at you, sitting here tearing up just because I am yelling. My daughter was killed with no way to be brought back to life. You are just a scrawny, pale, dirty, poor imitation of my daughter. So there is absolutely no way you are my daughter, you are just a stranger that needs to get out of my house." Mother said before she pushed me out of the door. I landed on the ground on my tail yet again which added physical pain to my emotional pain. I saw her slam the door shut and heard the click of the locks. I then heard mother and daddy arguing about me, and that was all I could take.

I ran, where I was running to I don't know, I ran through the wood not knowing where I was going. In my head I didn't see my mother yelling at me, I saw Frieza. My mother, Son Chichi, transformed in front of my very eyes into one of the monsters I feared most. I knew it was her standing there but I couldn't control it. I knew I went into a hallucination because my mother slapping me and yelling at me reminded me of that monster too much. What's going on with me, everywhere I look I see Frieza standing there smirking at me. I felt myself hyperventilating as I ran; I couldn't breathe properly which caused me to panic even more.

I felt a comforting aurora several hundred miles away from me; I had to get to it. I continued to run collecting energy out of what little reserves I had left and teleported. I was soon in front of a giant dome building. I didn't know where I was I kept running, soon I crashed through the glass doors of the building as I navigated myself somewhere inside. I soon saw the prince and Bulma. I soon crashed into prince Vegeta, my arms wrapped around him and I buried my face into his stomach. I then let out all three years of my anguish and suffering and I cried and wailed. I let out all that I have been holding in for the past three years.

BULMA'S POV

I was escorting his royal pain in the ass to the dining room when suddenly we heard a loud crash and quick footsteps coming down the hall. I soon saw little Kaien running down the hall running straight into Vegeta and cling to him. She then let out the most heart breaking sounds I ever heard. She was crying tears of agony and hardship. It was all so sad I didn't realize it when tears started to run down my face.

Vegeta just looked awkward standing there with her clinging to him but soon she was just crying in silent sobs. Her arms weren't clinging as tightly around Vegeta now they sagged and her body started to sway, but Vegeta caught her. "Kaien," I worryingly called out.

"Don't make a fuss woman she just passed out. She isn't in the best condition physically or mentally, but she is fine, she is a true saiyan she will recover it might just take some time," Vegeta said. I nodded my head, "well then follow me she can stay in my room with me tonight."

When we got to my room Vegeta tried to put her on the bed, but he had to somehow gently pry her little tail that somehow wrapped around his wrist off. It was absolutely adorable how careful he was being with the small child. When he was finally free of Kaien's tail he glared at me as I tried to stop myself from giggling. "Not a word of this to anybody. Do you understand," he gripped then stormed off from the room.

I collected myself and went to my bathroom filling a cup up with water and got a rag and set it beside the bed. I went into my huge closet and went to one of my old chests and pull out my old favorite pink t-shirt with my name on it and a small pair of underwear (why I kept a pair of my old underwear I will never know it is kind of creepy), I then went over to Kaien. The shirt was still really big for her it was going to be for of a dress but it will have to do for now.

I pulled up a chair near the bed and started to take off the tiny boots she was wearing. I soon saw all of her toes were cooked like every single one of them has been broken before. Next I pulled off the baggy pair of pants she was wearing. They were made of the same material Vegeta's clothing was made of but she had a piece of rope keeping them up. Her legs were also skinny to the point I could see the bones and they were covered in scars especially her knees. I shook my head at the bad shape she was in. I then grabbed a pair of scissors to cut off her shirt. But stopped when I saw the orange bandana around her neck, I remember her wearing it on her head the day I met her, the same day she was kid napped. She must have been hanging onto this for years trying to keep a piece of home and comfort. All of a sudden I felt like crying again.

I quickly shook my head I had to get her clean, until she can take a bath tomorrow and into clean cloths. I pulled off her bandanna and put it on the nightstand. I then started at the bottom of her turtle neck and started to cut upwards. I saw lots of scares and she was so skinny I could see all of her bones I could probably point and name all of her bones. I then cut away the neck of the shirt and saw the most terrible thing I have seen in my entire life. Across her neck was a scar that you could tell her windpipe was slashed open, and then burnt shut, went all the way across her neck and about 2 inches wide. I don't know how she is even alive! The scar was maybe a year old but it hardly faded, whoever caused this scar was aiming to kill this poor little child. I mean she is only eight years old, I was still playing with dolls at this age.

I ran to the bathroom and dry heaved into the toilet. It was sickening what all did this little girl have to go through. I quickly shook my head and took care of my needs after vomiting.

I went back to Kaien, she was sleeping so peacefully. I soaked my rag and started to wash her down. I carefully washed her face. A tiny scar in her hair line, a scar cutting through her left eyebrow, a little scar running under her right eye, and a scar cutting through her lips at the left corner of her mouth; her face had these four little scars but she was still a very beautiful young girl. Next I cleaned her neck and torso. That horrible scar on her neck, five claw marks on each shoulder, a scar slicing her right side, and a small scar that looked like a hole going through her stomach and out her back. Each of her fingers look like they have been broken before and she had a scar on the inside of her right elbow that looked like she was stabbed by the same thing that stabbed her stomach and right thigh. She was decorated by scars; I couldn't handle thinking about them all. I got her dressed in the shirt I had for her and made my way out of my room.

I went to the kitchen and saw mom and dad drinking their coffee, yamncha was talking to puar, and Vegeta stuffing his face. I went to the phone on the wall and dialed the Son residence. Chichi then picked up the phone, "Hello, this is Chichi."

"Hey Chichi do you know why Kaien came to my house crying?" I asked I was sure Chichi would be concerned about her daughter, after all she treats Gohan like a little prince. In a dead tone Chichi said, "Bulma you know that my daughter Kaien is dead and probably has been dead for nearly three years." My face scrunched up, what is going on I know I saw Kaien heading home with Goku and Gohan. "Chichi what are you talking about? Kaien went home with Goku and Gohan."

"Bulma, what do you mean by that. Everyone knows my daughter is dead and that Shenron couldn't even bring her back to me, no matter how I begged and wished. Goku brought home was an imposter today! There is no way that thing could be my beautiful daughter." Thing, she just called her own daughter that she gave birth to and cried over after hearing about what Raditz did for a year, she called her a THING.

"Chichi you must have lost your mind because that is Kaien. She was finally saved and brought back home." I said my temper rising, trying to talk some common sense back into this bull headed woman. "No I have not lost my mind, I know my own daughter! Though I never wanted her to fight, she was a great fighter. And I taught her to never let her perfect face get damaged. That creature was covered in scars so don't you dare tell me that thing is my daughter! My daughter was a genius she would have figured out a way to come back to me sooner if she was alive, that fake came here three years later. My daughter is DEAD!"

That was the last straw for me. "You say that child is not you daughter but she is! She looks just like her she even had the orange bandana Goku made her. Yes she is covered in scars; she was surrounded by others a hundred times stronger than her for years! Hell they tortured the poor girl! Yes she has scars all over her but that is just from her fighting to survive! And this child is a genius I watched her learn things in a matter of seconds! This girl is Son Kaien; you are just too dense to see it! You don't deserve to be this sweet girl's mother, treating her like this you should be ashamed! I hope when you realize that this is Kaien you beg for her forgiveness and until you do I am not letting you anywhere near her!" I yelled and hung up.

Everyone at the dinner table was looking at me, "what are you looking at, the show is over. By the way mom, dad, Kaien is going to be living with us now don't you dare let chichi near her, she will do that poor child more harm than good. Same goes for you Yanmcha. I then headed back to my room.

I then started to hear screaming and crying from my room. "NO I DON'T WANT TO HURT ANYONE!" I saw Vegeta holding Kaien down in her sleep as she screamed, cried, and thrashed about. "No Please DON'T MAKE ME KILL THEM!" She was having nightmare about Frieza. It felt like electricity was in the air I guess that mean she powering up.

"Wake up kid, Frieza is gone! He won't make you kill anyone or destroy any more planets again. Come on wake up. It's not your fault, Frieza forced you. You only did what you had to stay alive." Vegeta called out to Kaien. "Those people would have done the same thing if they were in your shoes so calm down. You're safe now. Everyone is safe now, that bastard Frieza can't hurt you or anyone else anymore. It is ok." Slowly Kaien calmed down and fell back into a peaceful sleep.

"Frieza must be a monster doing these terrible things like this to a child. Did he do this to you to?" I quietly asked Vegeta. He just got up and left. I guess that was my answer. I quickly shut my door and put on my pjs. I got in bed beside Kaien hoping maybe being beside someone she could trust will keep the nightmares at bay. "You have had it pretty hard Kaien but don't you worry any longer. I will take care of you, so will my parents, yamncha, Vegeta, you dad and brother. You have people who will take care of you again. Your mother you don't need your mother, she is trapped in her own reality to realize who you are and how brave and strong you are. But I will always be here for you, I may not be able to fight but I won't let anything hurt you I promise." I pulled Kaien into my arms and stroked her hair, I found comfort in that action and soon found sleep.

Kaien's pov

For once if what felt like forever I woke up warm and I haven't been kicked awake and no one was squeezing my tail. I looked over to my side to see Bulma sprawled over the bed snoring. It reminded me of what mother said to me last night. I shook my head I didn't need to be reminded of that. My stomach then growled. All I have the las three years was one meal a day (if I was lucky) and that usually was bread and water. I remembered to peach I had yesterday it was amazing. I hope Bulma doesn't mind if I eat some of her food. I'll pay her back some way.

I carefully crawled over Bulma to the end of the bed so I wouldn't accidently wake her up. I hope she doesn't mind me making a small hole in her shirt for my tail, because my tail kept lifting it up in the back. I then noticed my bandana was gone. I panicked that was the one thing I still had from dad, plus it keeps anyone from seeing the dreaded scar across my neck. I couldn't let anyone see it, it only proves what a monster I am, because I just wouldn't let myself die to escape the suffering. Bulma must have seen it, does that mean she hates me now. No because she slept beside me the entire night. I scurried about the room looking for my bandana, franticly looking for it. I finally found it on the nightstand.

I quickly tied it back around my neck to hide my scar. If Bulma saw it, was there anyone else who saw it. I couldn't let anyone else know my shame, I made a hole for my tail and ran to the balcony. I opened the door and saw the prince was sitting outside on the balcony. "Where do you think you're going kid, get inside, go down stairs and eat. If you are going to be doing any form of training you need to get some meet on your bones first, or do I have to drag you down there myself to shove the food down your throat. And don't you dare think about running away again; you're in no shape to fly or teleport yourself anywhere yet."

I quickly looked down at my feet ashamed that I was caught trying to run away. I nodded my head saying a quick 'yes sir' and shut the balcony doors. I drug my feet out of the room and looked around the hall way. I didn't notice this before but this place is huge! I lifted my nose into the air and followed the smell of sausage and eggs. I walked about the long winding hallways and down the stairs until I found my way down the halls and into the kitchen.

Suddenly a blonde lady bounced up to me and knelt down in front of me, "well hello there Sweetie, I made I nice big breakfast just for you. You are just way to skinny, we need to get you nice and plump." The blonde lady said, she had a very high pitch sickly sweet voice but it fit her. "Why don't you go over to the table and I will bring you a plate," she said motioning to the table. "yes ma'am, thank you," I said. She suddenly squealed "you are just so adorable," she pulled out a chair beside a man reading a newspaper, "sit here and I will be right back with a plate for you Cutie." She then walked off.

I sat down on the floor beside the man with the paper he soon put it down and smiled at me. "Hello there, it is good to see you awake I am happy that you are here. It will be nice having another young scientist here Bulma has told me all about your memorization ability. I'm Dr. Briefs but you can just call me Gramps. How about that," the man said with a big goofy grin and a cigarette between his teeth. "Ok" I mumbled in a small voice. I wasn't used to people being nice to me anymore it was different. "Ms. Kaien you know you can sit in the chair. You aren't a slave or anything it is okay to sit here," Dr. Briefs said.

"Yes sir," I got in the chair beside him. I heard a mewling I saw a little black cat on his shoulder. "Oh yes this is my assistant Scratch." The little black cat jumped off his shoulder and onto my lap. He was purring contently as I pet him. Doctor Briefs chuckled and continued to read his paper.

Soon Mrs. Briefs set a huge plate of pancakes, eggs and sausage onto the table in front of me. "If you need anything just let me know Honey, I'm Bunny by the way," she said then went off to cook another huge plate I guess for Vegeta. I looked down at my plate and saw a ton of strawberries, raspberries, black berries and whipped cream. This is not good I don't want to hurt Ms. Bunny's feelings but I have no choice. "Excuse me Ms. Bunny but may I get another pancake without berries," I said stuttering. "What you don't like berries. I thought most kids loved them," Bunny said worryingly. I shook my head, "No it's nothing like that ma'am I'm allergic to strawberries, raspberries, and black berries."

"Goodness me, thank you for telling me is there anything else you are allergic to. I wouldn't want to add anything when I cook that will make you sick. I am so sorry dear." I nodded my head yes, "celery and cayenne pepper."

"Well, isn't that ironic, if I know Goku as well as I hope I do weren't you weren't you named after cayenne pepper." Bulma said walking into the kitchen. "Yeah, they didn't know I would be allergic when they named me but mother didn't want to name me after a spice so she spelled is differently." I started to feel depressed about mother again, she and I never did get along, I always more comfortable with dad.

Just as I started to get sad again Bunny put a new plate down in front me. It was covered in sausage, eggs, and pancakes drizzled with maple syrup. I started to eat slowly so I wouldn't eat too much. I hardly noticed when Vegeta came down gobbling down his breakfast. I soon finished with over three quarters of the food that was handed to me still on the plate. So I pushed it over to prince Vegeta so it wouldn't go to waste. He was eyeing me as I did so. "I thought I told you to eat so you could train again," he growled.

I shook my head, "I didn't inherit the monstrous saiyan appetite like my brother did you can eat the rest." He didn't have to be told twice he soon had that gobbled down like everything else. After he got done eating he looked right at me and said "once we can no longer see your ribs that is when I will allow you to train again from what I can tell you still have a long way to go. On your technique." He then walked off leaving me with the briefs family.

Bulma that looked over at me then smiled yelling "Who wants to go shopping." She than got dressed and gave me a pair of leggings and flip flops. Soon Bulma, Bunny, and I were at the mall. I think I might prefer being beaten by dodoria than going shopping with Ms. Bunny and Bulma. They had all of the ladies cooing over me in the stores, made me try on so many clothes that I probably would never wear, they even bought cloths for me to wear in several years from now. But I was kind of happy to now have my own possessions. My favorite outfits by far were my overalls and t-shirts. I especially loved my new steel toe boots I had a few pairs to grow into. When we got back home to the capsule corp. building Gramps replaced the steel in the boots with the strongest metal known to man (in the dragon ball universe). I knew that would do some damage when I was fighting others.

I soon got a call from dad, he was telling me how sorry he was for all of what my mother said to me. That he loved me, but he agreed with Bulma it would be best for me to stay with them. Sadly my mother got it in her head that I was dead and refused to believe I was alive, no matter what. But I won't hold it against her. I still love her and dad and Gohan.

Before I knew it a month had past, I was still having a hard time getting back to a free life, out of Frieza's control. I was finally in good enough shape that Vegeta was going to teach me how to fight better. You heard me right I wasn't a sickly pile of skin and bones anymore; I was excited to get back to training. I haven't had any proper training since dad trained me before I was kidnapped. I quickly got out of bed maneuvering around Bulma like I did every morning and ran to my dresser. I threw on a white t-shirt that went down to my knees and an pair of black leggings. I put on my leather fingerless gloves and my steel toed boots; I quickly tied my bandana around my neck and ran out of the room. I went done to the kitchen and ate a peach and downed it with a cup of tea. Soon I found myself entering Vegeta's gravity training ship. It was at 150 times earth's gravity but I didn't have any trouble with it at all.

"Hey, Vegeta I can train with you now. Isn't this great," I yelled. Vegeta soon stopped sparing with himself and turned to me. "Well it was about time. Come at me with everything you got." I launched myself at him in a barrage of punches and kicks; though they were sloppy it was obvious that my techniques wouldn't work against Vegeta's perfect form. He left no openings, everything I did looked like I was an amateur fighter compared to him. I didn't understand, I know I couldn't train or fight back for three years but I was training how to fight with dad sense I could stand on my own, plus my power level was pretty high, it was higher than Vegeta's but it looked like punches and kicks were like a kitten trying to paw at him.

"This is pathetic. You lost all of your strength, and your technique is still that of a child that was just introduced into sparing. Yes you have a high power level but that means nothing if you don't know how to fight. It is going to take you years before you even have a proper fighting style. You are not ready to fight me yet even if you are a super saiyan. Come back when you have some real training." Vegeta said, he then got back to training by himself. I could tell buy his movements he was pissed off.

I didn't realize my fighting style was that bad, did dad go easy on me when he was training me. I don't know but have to figure out how to get years of basic training down quick. I then remembered what dad told me about training on Kami's look out. The hyperbolic time chambers where one day is a year. If I could somehow talk Kami into letting me use the time chambers for about five or six days I could come out a master of my own fighting style, build up my strength and defenses, and maybe get over my fears of Frieza. Hell maybe I could learn how to turn into a super saiyan at will like dad does. It is the perfect plan, I am sure Kami-sama would allow me to. Especially when he sees how bad my flying is to reach his tower. I had an inward grin and ran to tell Bulma what I was going to do.

She said it was fine with her so I quickly filled my messenger bag up with cloths I could grow into and anything else an eight year old would need for maybe five years of training. (This would really be only five days) I even grabbed the little stuffed fox Bulma got me and stuffed it into the bag so I still have someone to sleep with to keep nightmares at bay. I ran out of the building to where I sensed kami's energy. And I took off flying. My pitiful excuse for flying, I couldn't fly in a straight line, nor could I go as fast as the others. My flying is definitely the first thing I am going to work on.

It took me a couple of hours but I finally made it to kami's lookout. He agreed that I needed a lot more training (after crash landing). He told me that I could spend five days in the time chamber that would give me five years' worth of training, but I would be the only one able to use it, after my five days the chambers would need three years to recharge. Mr. Popo then set up the chamber with plenty of food, water, and anything else I may need in five years of training. I soon entered the white chambers for my training. Five years when I leave hear I will be thirteen and when I face the androids I will be sixteen. Was I ready for this? I sure hope so, the world is counting on strong fighters to be able to protect it, I must get stronger for the earths sake.

Authors note: well yet another chapter. I hope you liked it. The next chapters will be filled with fun and surprises. Stay tuned to see what happens next. And thank you again princess shotgun for helping me with my writing. See you next time
