Hey everyone, this is Packerfan95 and this is the last chapter of Rise of the Storm. I know that it's sad to hear, but stories have to end, right? Oh and to help imagine the Rain, Lucas' vehicle, look at the image of the Tumbler from the Dark Knight movies. That's how I can see the vehicle Lucas and the others could drive in my stories. Anyway, enjoy the epilogue.
Epilogue
My past. My past has an interesting tale. My brothers know all details of it now. Including my father and cousins. Many have once wondered how I became the person I am today. And I've finally explained my past as they're still dark memories to me, but they should know. On how my life was like when I became the late apprentice to Garmadon. As the Ninja of Water.
In my past I was once filled with rage to my father. But after realizing what I done, I never take the same path. I left my father heartbroken after I ran away. I was blinded by rage to destroy him to unlock my True Potential. But it was mainly to find my heart with my father to protect him. That was the key to unlock my potential. The protection of those I love.
…
I stopped writing in my journal as the alarm was blaring through the entire ship. Trouble was brewing. No doubt that it was the Serpentine. "Come on, Lucas!" Lloyd shouted as he ran into our room. And no doubt that he was excited to fight. Even though his sister and I are against it for his safety, he sneaks around us and we have to let him come. "The Serpentine are causing trouble. And Skales is gonna be surprised to see you." He spun into his Spinjitzu to be in his green gi and pants and ran out the door.
I chuckled and finished writing my entry and closed the worn black leather book. It was finished. I hopped off my bed and headed to the closet and opened the door to enter. I found my box of memorabilia on the shelf above Lloyd's stash and pulled it down to remove the lid. Inside, it did have much. It held my old suits because I don't know why I kept them. It also held the remaining coins from the pouch Kuzca gave me. But surprisingly, it held the broken dagger that killed me. Why do I have it you may ask? It's so no-one will use the poisonous blade to kill anyone. The blade was still coated in my blood and poison; sealed and wrapped in grey silk to hide. "Lucas!" my father shouted through the intercom. I brought myself back and slipped my journal in the box and closed the lid and placed it back on the shelf. I spun out of my sweatpants and tee shirt into my armored uniform and ran out after the others.
…
But also in my past I have been training under my evil uncle. Learned the Arts of Spinjitzu and found my weapons as I grew up in the Underworld. But I guess things happen to all of us. I befriended a once blind skeleton that sacrificed his life for my protection. A dragon that left to grow and came back to save me on time from Sherra. I was whipped on betrayal which I never done. And I even died in my father's arms to protect him.
But another thing happened to my past as I grew. I met my brothers and cousins without knowing. I sparred against Kai. Helped Jay fight off a gang causing trouble. Wrestled with Cole on strength. I escaped from a monastery from being burnt down with Zane and Laurie. And I even met and helped Lloyd down that sign that my brothers tied him to and had to fight the Serpentine that he unleashed to save my friends from Jamanakai Village. Things happen when you least expect it I guess.
But soon after, I fought against them as the apprentice of the dark lord. I fought against them in the alley and harmed Lloyd without knowing him as my cousin. I kidnapped him later and escaped with him from the Bounty. Soon my brothers try to save him and managed to before we turned Lloyd evil and freed me from Garmadon's control. But then later he returns and controlled my family; leaving me and my cousin on the run. But after we saved them, I left to protect everyone. I left my father and cousin heartbroken as I was following Garmadon again until the Solstice Battle and I realized the truth. The skeletons were sent to kidnap me so he can have all six golden weapons. And after I destroyed the Twilight Mirror, I sacrificed my life to protect my father and died. But I saw my mother and grandfather in the spirit world of my old home and was sent back to become Lloyd's guardian.
…
I ran down the halls until I barged through a door that led to the ship's stern which was the garage of our vehicles. It housed the Ultra Sonic Raider, Nya's samurai exo-suit, my vehicle that I drive with Lloyd and Laurie since we're short on transportation. The Rain. A dark greyish all-terrain vehicle with two terrain tires in the front with four large on the back that were tall up to my neck, two for each side while being separated by the booster you would see from a jet. As a matter of fact, the entire vehicle was tall up to my neck. The body was close to shape a rain drop, but wasn't shaped as one. The body was rigid instead of smooth with layers of armored plates to protect us. The nose of the vehicle was in the middle of the front tires as they were spread out but the tires were still connected. Like most vehicles, the tires would be connected to the axises inside, but mine were connected outside and were protected. It almost looks like a spider's pincher-jaws from the Underworld if that helps you picture it. It just looked like my Spinjitzu vehicle before my weapons were stolen.
We all crafted this vehicle with Tornado of Creation since we were short on transportation. Mainly me and Lloyd and now Laurie since the 'Tank' can't sit three extra people. And we even crafted this vehicle before I fell to my coma so it helps us all out. We'll be able to reach danger on time. I made sure my sai's were sheathed in my belt and ran over to the 'Rain' while the others got into the 'Tank'.
I climbed up on the body to the hatch and hopped into the driver's seat with Laurie next to me and Lloyd behind us. A hissing sound could be heard as our seats were being lowered with the top hatch looming over us and the windshields were lowered in front of us; sealing us inside. I reached up to flip a few switches on the ceiling and they clicked like they were tap dancing. Surprised on how I remembered what to do to start it up. The dashboard and monitors began to glow in front of me and the engine began to hum to life.
…
Now that I returned as a brother, together we can vanquish evil that stands in our path. Train Lloyd to be the destined Green Ninja. Learn the true nature of our elemental powers. Defeat Garmadon once and for all. And stay as a family forever. Who are we? We are ninjas.
We vow to protect Ninjago with our lives. Whether it's Garmadom or Serpentine, we'll be there to protect. We are ninjas. Ninjas never give up. Never give up on hope to succeed. We succeed no matter what to make evil thrive off these lands. We are ninjas! We never give up!
And who am I?
I am Lucas James Wu. The Grey Ninja of Water who has seen his mistakes and never replays the events to ever leave. I am no longer the apprentice of Lord Garmadon, but as a ninja for my father, brothers, and cousins. And now a guardian for Lloyd as he grows. Whenever the Final Battle commences between father and son, my brothers and I will be ready for whatever happens in the future. I am ready. We all are.
…
I looked in the back to see Lloyd smirking as he threw his mask on. I smirked back and turned my head to see Laurie flip hers on and looked at the others. Kai smirked at me as he hopped into the top compartment and threw his on with the others following suit. I watched the samurai hop into her exo-suit of the chest cavity while the hatch loomed over her. All were ready to go as the stern was opening to the city in front of us. I grabbed my mask from my belt and threw the easily breathable material over my face. I was ready.
I watched the others file out and sped to the city. I looked at Lloyd one last time to see him nod and I looked back at the dusty road. I pushed the lever up to hear the engine whine and I grabbed the joysticks by my legs and pushed them forward to drive and steer and the Rain took off.
It was time to save Ninjago. As a family.
The End.
The end, that's right. The Rise of the Storm is over. We all now know of Lucas Wu's past. But that doesn't mean I'll stop writing stories. I have other stories in mind, but they'll be awhile as I'm writing them still. I hoped you enjoyed the story and can't wait to see the reviews.
Claimer: I own Lucas James Wu.
Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago or the Tumbler from the Dark Knight movies.
This is Packerfan95 signing off for now until next time. Bye. :')
