TAHUS POV

I led them to the room I had been in. It was round, with heads shaped like the Krana we had collected. We went to the respective head, and placed our Krana on them, like we did for the golden masks.

There was an deafening screech, and we all covered our ears. The floor began to fall, and Gali yelled as loud as she could "Brothers, activate your Masks of Levitation! Slow your fall!" I could see the others attempt this, as I did, but Gali was not successful. She hit a rock, and her mask came off.

I looked around for something to save her with. I boosted myself off a rock that was nearby, and caught her mid-air, just as I activated my mask, slowing my descent.

"Thank you, brother." She thanked.

"I did what I had to, Gali."

"Um, I hate to intrude, but this isn't the time to play lovey-dovey with each other."

"As much as I hate to admit it, Pohatu's right." Kopaka said. "Thank you, brother." "That wasn't a compliment, Pohatu." "You did say I was right." "I also insulted you."

"Both of you shut up and follow me." I ordered. I led them down the tunnel at the bottom of the pit.

At the end of the tunnel was a set of 6 objects. They were grey, and was very tall. "What are these?" Onua asked. "I don't know, I've never seen them before." I replied.

Neither of us saw Lewa approaching them, and reaching out to touch one.

There was a large metallic sound, and the object sprung open, with a place just large enough for a Toa to fit.

"What in Mata Nui's name is that?" Gali inquired.

"Dunno," I whispered. "But it doesn't look friendly." Then, Lewa started to climb in.

"Lewa stop! What are you doing!?" Pohatu yelled at him. He didn't care.

He stepped inside, and the hatch closed.

"Damnit Lewa!" I cursed. Then, suddenly, the object stood up, with Lewa controlling it.

"How in the world..." Onua muttered.

"Brothers! Sister! We can use these to fight the bohrok!" I shouted. "Wait, what? You want us to USE these things?" Kopaka asked, bewildered. "Yes." "Ugh. Fine." He groaned.

We all climbed into one of the machines, and a holographic projection appeared in the cockpit.

"Follow me!" I commanded.

I led them into a circular chamber.

"Maybe we want the wrong way?" Gali pondered. Onua responded before I could. "No, this was the only direction."

Then, as if on cue, the door shut behind us.

"Damnit." I muttered.

"Welcome, to our home, Toa." A voice spoke. There was a loud sound, maybe cackling, and then two figures appeared.

"Dinosaurs!" Lewa yelled. "A. What's a dinosaur? B. Calm down we can take them." I said.

Lewa chose not to respond.

"I am Cahdok, one bohrok queen. This is my sister, Gahdok." The blue one introduced.

"Pleasures all mine, Rahi." I retorted.

"We are not simple Rahi. We are better, stronger." The red one, Gahdok, challenged.

"Are you faster too?"

"What?" The screeched.

"I'm noticing a pattern with these 'all powerful beings.' They're always better than the last guy." I whispered to Gali.

"No matter. You cannot stop us. Now Mata Nui will be as it was in the Before-Time! All that does not belong will be removed... Beginning with you!"

And they lunged. Gahdok ran into me, Onua, and, and Gali, while Cahdok took on Lewa, Pohatu, and Kopaka.

I swung my sword at the red beast, but she ducked. Then, black.

GALI'S POV

"Tahu!" I cried. "I can't see!" He replied.

Then, Onua and Pohatu started swinging at nothing. They were yelling things like, "You won't win!" and "Help! He's too much!"

"Pohatu! Onua! Stop! You are fighting shadows!"

Gahdok turned to me. "You will drown, Toa!" And she blasted water at me. "I am a Toa of Water, beast. You cannot kill me with my own weapon. And then I raised my arms.

Nothing happened. In that moment I realized two things. First, the armor hinders our powers, and the second, they are fighting us with illusions.

"Everyone, stop! You are fighting illusions and false blindness! And this armor hinders out power! She'd them, and combine our elemental power!"

Tahu blinked. "I can see again." Then, he left his armor. "Gali is right! We must stand together! Unity!" Pohatu and Onua stopped fighting. They left their armor. Same with Lewa and Kopaka, who were fighting the actual enemy.

TAHU'S POV

"Combine our power!" I yelled. I blasted them with fire, Gali water. Lewa blew air at them, and Kopaka froze them. Onua and Pohatu punched the ground and threw energy shockwaves through it.

A brownish cube began to form. "You cannot defeat us! We are eternal!" The howled. Then, silence.

We cheered, except for Kopaka.

The happiness was short lived. The cavern began to collapse, and silver liquid flowed in. "What? What is this?" Kopaka yelled.

Then the ground either disappeared, or the liquid rose quickly, because we started to submerge in it.

Then, we fell.

Words can't even describe the pain we felt. I was burning, freezing, and being blown to bits all at once, and the pain didn't go away. It just got worse.

Then, I emerged in a collapsing cavern, gasping for breath.

The other Toa were here to, but different.

"What! What happened?" Kopaka wondered.

"Not important!" I yelled, as rocks came down on us. I activated my mask of shielding, and a red energy field surrounded us.

That's never happened before.. I thought.

"Tahu your mask, it saved all of us!" Gali looked amazed. "Not important!" I yelled, again. The cavern was still collapsing.

"Lewa, Pohatu, use your masks! It will help us escape through that hole in the celling!" Gali ordered. They did that, and we all took off, flying to safety.

When we were out of the cavern, we all were exhausted. I looked around. "Brothers, sister, look at each other. They all looked at each other.

"We are so different." Gali stated. "Yes." I agreed. "We are not just Toa, we are now TOA NUVA!"

So, about the future. This story isn't over, but for a while, the chapters will be comical or romantic short stories about life on the island as the Toa. Afterward, the story continues. Remember to review!
