For just helping me with homework he sure seemed excited. But it looks like he knows his way around the city. Considering the absurd amount of twists and turns I got drug through. At this rate, I'll never be able to find my way home.

"So Miss. Iris, would you like a quiet peaceful place, or louder area and be around Soul, Maka, Blackstar and his new little girl?" He said smiling. Just thinking about being around Soul made me want to gag. I'm still in shock from this morning. But why on Earth is this symmetry obsessed freak being so nice?

"I'd rather a quiet place..." Last thing I need is to break out into tears in front of this guy twice in one day.

"Ah, then I know the perfect spot for us." He quickly grabbed my hand again and lead us through a few dark allies and some other mysterious looking places that I, in all honesty, wouldn't dare to go near alone. If it weren't for the setting I would have ripped myself from his grip and went home. But strangely, even though I don't know much about this guy I feel a bit safe around him... But I'm not letting my guard down. Who is he anyway? Death the Kid, such a strange figure. Eventually he lead us to a large building that seemed to have a never ending height compared to the libraries back home. Letting go of my hand he told me to take off my shoes coming in. Was this... his house? After doing as he told me to do, he lead us through this large building, the rooms seemed to go on forever and each room getting larger as we progressed. Everything about this place seemed huge. "He we are, the study room as we call it." He announced with a smile, as we reached this room with what seemed like the walls themselves were made of books, slightly unorganized, but still. And the ceiling must have been 30 ft high... How many books did one need? Had he read all of them? "You okay? You seem confused."

Snapping out of the trance I was in I quickly responded "Yes, just a little dazed."

His look of concern quickly melted away and he sat me down with him and he said with a smirk, "Well then we better get started before you start drooling." I felt my face get red in an instant and a smile appear on my face.. Getting into the work I realized I had lucked out, the school year had only started a month ago, so there wasn't too much to get myself caught up on. And the the fact that he really did know how to explain all of these concepts. Maybe he had read all of these books. Through a bit of talking I've learned everything I'll need to know for school tomorrow and a good bit about Kid himself. His eyes were probably one of the most distracting things about him, and also the hair, but I wouldn't dare to mention that. Through one study session, I made a friend. By the time we had finished it had gotten pretty late and soon it would be pitch dark.

"Hey, Kid?"

"Yes Iris?" He asked looking up from his last minute check on my work.

"This is embarrassing, but I don't really know how to get home."

"Oh yes, almost forgot about that." He said, "I assume you two are in the new house near the school? Just go down the main road right outside the gates and you should be to your house in about 2 minutes." He informed me standing up to hand me my things, in a neat pile, of course.

"Okay. And Kid," he looked down at me, "Thank you." I said with a smile.

Walking home, I have a lot running through my mind. Repeating formulas and equations so I wouldn't forget. Then some about Audry and how she is going to be so worried if I'm back late. For a brief moment I thought about Kid's behavior... He didn't seem like the same person I met last night and it's even more suspicious that he didn't even notice or even show any concern for the lack of symmetry that was around us...
