Days Later
"Hey Big Daddy, whatcha doin'?" Randy asked walking into the office. John chuckled
"I'm looking over some emails and faxes that just came in."
"Oh? Heavy stuff?"
"It can be depending on how I handle it."
"Do you want me to make some tea and we can talk about it?" John looked up at the man in front of his desk and smiled. "I'll be right back."
"Thank you." Randy went down to the kitchen and steeped tea for he and John. When it was perfect he made John a cup just the way he liked and a cup for himself then took them upstairs. He handed the mug to John and took a seat in Cody's chair
"So what's up?" He asked crossing his legs comically
"Well," John said laughing. "You know how hands on I like to be with my hotels,"
"Mmhm."
"New York was tough to deal with and that's less than 1200 miles away. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to deal with building in Hilo an entire 4576.4 miles away without going insane."
"Oh man, you really calculated that."
"Randy."
"I'm just saying. What are you going to do?"
"I don't know." John said clicking his pen
"John."
"Sorry." The older man said placing his pen on the desk
"What would you like to do? Like what would make you the most comfortable?"
"Staying in Hilo would make me the most comfortable to be honest."
"And what's stopping you? I'll miss the hell out of you but I'd never stop you from doing what's best for business."
"I know you wouldn't."
"Cody?"
"He's part of it. I've talked him up and I want to believe he's strong enough but I don't know if he is and I really don't want to leave him here with you and Evan to deal with. It's unfair."
"So is not going because of him."
"Touché."
"When are you breaking ground?"
"Six weeks."
"Go to Hilo and I'll deal with the boys. Come back when you're able and we'll all work accordingly." John shook his head
"There's got to be a better way to do this. I love you guys and while I'm committed to my business I don't know how focused I can be so far away from the two of you, hell I'd even miss that little baby man Evan." Randy laughed
"He's big where it counts."
"I've seen."
"What if we just all moved there?" Randy said offhandedly. John raised an eyebrow
"I'm glad you brought that up."
"John, you are not fucking serious."
"I'm very fucking serious. I had my accountants send over statements on all my bank accounts and my net worth,"
"John,"
"Be quiet. The way I figure it is we can move, I'll let you design the house anyway you want, and once the hotel is finished Hawai'i can be our permanent home."
"You work all the goddamn time so how would you enjoy that?"
"And that's why I had my statements sent to me. I'd stop working. I've been busting my ass since I was 13 and I'm tired Randy. I complete the hotel in Hawai'i and that's that. I finally sit back, relax and enjoy the fortune I've made with people I love...just how it's supposed to be."
"So you'll let me design the house how I want?" John chortled
"Did you hear anything after that?"
"Yea," Randy said with a wave of his hand. "That's great and all but you're letting me design from the bottom up?"
"Yes Randy. When I go I'll scout out pieces of land and take pictures then bring them back to you and let you pick where we live...if Cody and Evan want to move."
"Fuck them, we can move and let them stay here. It's Hawai'i!"
"This has to be a group decision Randy." The older man said laughing
"Okay, okay, what about right,"
"Group decision." Randy sighed
"Can we at least build in Honolulu?"
"That's over 200 Miles from Hilo."
"So build in Honolulu. That's where all the action's at."
"Hold that thought." John said picking up the phone. Randy sipped his tea. He choked on his drink when he heard John's change of plans. "What?" John asked getting off the phone twenty minutes later and seeing Randy staring at him
"Did you just move the hotel?"
"You want to live in Honolulu then my baby gets to live in Honolulu."
"If this tea wasn't so good I'd jump over this desk and fuck the shit out of you."
"You're passing up sex for a cup of tea?"
"It's good. Can you at least wait until I finish?"
"No. No sex for you." Randy laughed
"You know that if I came over there right now we'd have sex."
"Don't come over here. I'm waiting for a phone call."
"I'm not I'm just letting you know that I detect a lie when you tell me no." John laughed as he picked up the ringing phone
"Okay. Yea...no, no, that'll be fine. Okay. Thank you. So you sure you want to move to Honolulu?"
"Yes but even if I had doubts I know that you'd make it okay so I would go with you anyway." John smiled
"So the plan is going to be keep the hotel in Hilo but make it smaller like a Days Inn but better and build the luxury hotel in Honolulu."
"And a house?"
"And a house but we need to have a talk with Cody and Evan. It's not so hard for either of us to pick up and go since my work can go anywhere with me and yours as well."
"They have schools in Hawai'i. Those little jackasses can teach there."
"Do you think Evan would move for you?"
"If he loves me like he claims he does he'll do whatever I say."
"You are not even right."
"The serious answer to your question is yes. I think he would and it may not even be for me. Who would pass up the chance of living there?"
"I don't know but he'd totally go just for you."
"I've trained my puppy well. Cody will do it too. He may whine and definitely cry but he'll agree to it."
"I hope you're right."
"When am I wrong?"
Later
"Hey guys!" Cody said walking into the bedroom
"Hey."
"Were the two of you napping or doing it?"
"Does it matter?"
"Yes. I'm not getting in bed if you were doing it."
"I guess you can't get in bed with us then." John looked at Randy then at Cody
"Don't listen to him. We were watching TV then ended up taking a nap...we did do it earlier though."
"Oh good!" Cody said about to climb in bed
"Go change your clothes." Randy said stopping him
"Man."
"I timed that perfectly." The tall man after Cody had gone to change
"Why are you so evil?"
"Because it's so much fun." Randy said rolling over and draping an arm over John
"Should we talk to them tonight?"
"I guess so. It'll give them more time to think about it and mull it over. Maybe I should get started on my dinner now and they'll be too full to put up much of a fight."
"Good idea."
"But I don't want to get out of bed."
"I'm letting you design from the ground up but I have one request."
"Which is?"
"This bed comes with us." Randy laughed
"John," He said looking at the man. "This is not a special bed. I can buy a new one just like it. You're supposed to change your mattress anyway."
"I want this one." Randy kissed John and sat up
"I'll think about it."
"Just do as I say."
"Some days you can be a real prick."
"You should be happy it's not all days honey." Randy rolled his eyes as he left the room
"Where did Ran go?" Cody asked opening the closet door
"To get started on dinner."
"Aw, I wanted to lay in bed with you guys."
"Well I'm still here."
"Two is always better than one unless it's a ticket." John watched as Cody climbed over him
"Did you get a ticket?"
"Not today." Cody said getting comfortable
"When did you get one?"
"It doesn't matter. I talked my way out of it." John smiled. He was proud. So proud that he didn't bother asking how or what the almost ticket was even for
...
"Hey Ev." Randy said to the man when he poked his head in the kitchen
"Hi baby." The small man said walking over. "You're starting on dinner already?"
"Yes. I'm making macaroni and cheese and you know how long it takes to grate cheese."
"I can help you after I change if you'd like."
"You don't have to but if you want to come back down and keep me company I would appreciate it." Evan nodded
"I'll be back."
"Okay." He said leaving and heading for the stairs. Evan walked down the hall and knocked on the frame of the bedroom door
"Evan." John said
"I was just being polite." Evan said moving toward the bed. Cody opened his arms for a hug from the other man which meant the small man had to crawl on the other side of the bed. "Cody." He said
"What?"
"You're making me stretch."
"Well you're pretty flexible so that's okay. How was work today? Are the kids still cute?"
"Cuter than yesterday." Evan said hugging John. "I doubt either of you would be looking for me but after I change I'll be downstairs with Randy."
"We would have checked there first." John said. "Like how we automatically check the kitchen for Randy when we don't know where he is or when we come home."
"Does he know we do that?"
"Yes. He is always there though."
"This is true." Evan said leaving the room. John looked over and saw Cody staring at him
"What?"
"I saw you."
"You saw me what?"
"Looking at Ev's butt." John laughed
"I should have known I wouldn't get away with that. In my defense though,"
"This should be good."
"His butt looks really cute in slacks. You can't see it in jeans." Cody gasped. "Of course I looked. I like butts."
"Where does Ran fit into this?"
"He doesn't have a big butt,"
"Or a butt."
"Randy does have a butt it's just not as round as the rest of ours."
"Yes because the shape it took on was pancake."
"Pancake is not a shape." John said chuckling
"And you just proved my point."
...
"Mmm, this smells so good Ran. I love when you make fried chicken because it's delicious and you always make macaroni and cheese." Cody bit into the chicken crunching loudly
"God Codes, you didn't even let us say grace." Everyone looked at Randy. "I mean if we actually blessed our meals you wouldn't have given us a chance to say it."
"Oh Ran." The young man said licking his fingers. Randy snarled and tossed a napkin at him
"Do any of you need anything before I sit down?" He asked
"No." The rest of the men answered so Randy took a seat
"Oh," John said. "I could really use some pepper and I don't see any on the table."
"What needs pepper John? This food is perfect."
"I like pepper though. I put it on everything you know that. You're really slacking babe."
"Yes let me go get that pepper for you so I can blow it in your fucking face." John laughed
"I love you." He said
"Eat me." Randy responded dropping the shaker on the table
"But I like the fresh cracked kind."
"I'm going to shove that thing down your throat if you don't get off my back."
"Stale pepper is fine with me."
"And you though me using barbeque sauce was bad."
"Oh that's bad too." After quieting down about pepper and barbeque sauce the men settled into eating their dinner and having their normal dinnertime conversation
"I want to talk with the two of you about something." John said speaking up as Randy stood at the island dishing up peach cobbler for dessert
"Whatever it is I didn't do it." Cody announced
"This isn't about whatever it is you did or did not do...wait, what did you do?"
"Nothing baby." He said smiling. John shook his head and continued on
"As the both of you know I'm going to have a hotel built in Hawai'i but in the last few days I've realized that it's going to be really hard for me to be involved if I'm here. Now what I ultimately want to do is stay there for a while during all of this." Cody instantly started to cry. Evan looked at John who was clenching his jaw
"Let him finish Codes." He said handing him a napkin
"Anyway, Randy and I were talking and he jokingly said that we should move there and I don't think that it's such a bad idea. There are four of us in this family and I want to hear what the two of you have to say about it."
"Isn't the hotel in Hilo? It rains too much there." Randy chuckled
"Thank you for the weather report Evan. You're right though, Hilo is not the ideal place I'd want to live but Randy asked if we could go to Honolulu and I decided to build there as well. If we all decide that moving is okay then the three of you will be in Honolulu while I'm in Hilo. I'll stay for a few days or a week at a time because the islands are too far apart to travel everyday unless I go by plane but that would just be financially irresponsible. After the hotels are done then I'm done. I've been working for almost twenty years and I don't need to anymore. I finally want to enjoy all I've earned."
"Oh. Um, well when is all this supposed to happen? I don't just want to leave my job right now. It's only the second day of school." John shook his head
"There's still a lot to do yet and a whole house to build." Evan nodded
"And you're going?" He asked looking at Randy
"Yes I would be going."
"Okay. I don't see why I wouldn't go. They have schools there."
"Cool." Everyone sat there looking at Cody who hadn't spoken a word which was completely unlike him. "Baby?"
"Hawai'i is so far away though."
"What is it here that's keeping you from saying yes?"
"Nothing really I mean my best friend ever is going and I have you and Ran...I'm charming so I'll be able to make new friends there," Cody rambled on as he picked a peach slice from his cobbler and ate it. "The weather is great,"
"I'll buy you another dog and you don't have to work if you don't want to." John said
"Sold!" John threw his arms in the air
"You're such a little rat."
"Hey!"
"You don't have to work if you don't want to either Evan."
"Oh, okay. Wow. It'll be weird retiring in my early 20s but, eh, I'm not going to argue."
"So," Randy said actually smiling. "Since it's been agreed on by the four of us can I start planning my dream house now?"
"You can start planning yea but don't forget that we don't have any land yet."
"That doesn't matter. You're John and you'll make it work."
"I'll try but just to be on the safe side why don't you start from the inside out."
"This is going to be hard. I have to leave my comic room."
"Fuck your comics, I'm leaving my kitchen and that bedroom both of which I shed tears for." They looked at Randy. "Well you know what I mean. What's my budget John?"
"This is going to be a dream home so I'm not giving you a budget."
"Oh my God, I think I'm going to cry."
"If you must. I don't want you cleaning all the time there either so we're going to have a cleaning lady or man, whatever."
"Can I still cook though?"
"You can still cook."
"Is this real life?" John, Cody and Evan laughed at Randy's excitement
"What style house are you thinking of?"
"Two-story Mediterranean. Can we have a guest house?"
"Sure."
"That can be a mini replica of the main house."
"Can I request something?" Evan asked raising his hand
"You're not at school and yes."
"Can there be retractable walls like at the rental house we had?"
"The lower level where the kitchen and non-formal living room will be – retractable walls. I can see it now."
"Me too." John laughed
"I guess I better get cracking then. When I go in six or seven weeks I'll look at the land, email you pictures and you can get back to me hopefully before I come back home."
"Sounds like a plan."
"I know that we agreed but I want to ask each of you again: Randy would you like to and be okay with uprooting your life and moving to Honolulu?"
"Yes."
"Evan would you like to and be okay with uprooting your life and moving to Honolulu?"
"Absolutely."
"Cody would you like to and be okay with uprooting your life and moving to Honolulu?"
"Uh-huh."
"Then we're moving."
"What about you?"
"What about me?"
"You're okay with uprooting your life and moving?"
"If you guys are moving then I have what's most important and that means I'm more than okay with moving."
Later
"Goodnight guys." Randy said to John and Cody as he stood up
"You're going to bed already?"
"I'm going up to Evan's room."
"Ooh," Cody and John cooed. "You're not going to bed." Cody said
"No I'm not going to bed."
"But you'll be in bed."
"That all depends on what we're in the mood for. Come on and give me kisses and hugs before I go." Cody stood up and wrapped his arms around Randy giving him many kisses. "John."
"I don't really feel like standing up."
"Well I don't feel like leaning down so we're at an impasse. Goodnight then." Randy turned to leave but stopped when he felt an arm around his waist. "How did you get up that fast?"
"I store my energy so I can pounce on the two of you if ever necessary. Goodnight." John said kissing the other man
"Goodnight for the 100th time."
"Go away." John said playfully slapping Randy's butt. Randy left the den and went up to Evan's room. He heard the shower running and stripped out of his clothes then joined him. Evan immediately turned around and pulled the older man down for a kiss. Randy pulled their bodies close together deepening the kiss as they rubbed against each other
"Bed?" Evan asked tearing himself away from Randy. He took one look at the small man with his body dripping wet and his hair that Randy loved hanging down and into the brown eyes he loved more and nodded his head. Evan opened the shower door and stepped out grabbing a towel as he left the bathroom. Randy shut the water off and stepped out as well. He found Evan pushing the sheets down on his bed then watched him sit at the foot. "Come here." When the taller man stepped close to the bed Evan reached out and took his member into his hand and used a jerking motion before licking the shaft to life. He licked sloppily coating every inch of the man in front of him before using all of his mouth. Randy grabbed and handful of Evan's hair pushing his head forward until his entire cock was down the man's throat
"Oh shit..." He moaned rolling his hips back and forth, in and out of the other man's mouth. "Harder." Randy said. "Suck harder." He said pulling the small man's hair. Evan whimpered but obediently did what he was told. He sucked until his jaws were sore but Randy was enjoying himself and he wouldn't stop until he was told. "Lay back for me baby." Oh thank God Evan thought crawling backward on the bed. He watched as Randy got on the bed and pushed his legs apart exposing his hole before sticking his tongue inside and swirling it around. He licked, sucked and spat making sure the man was nice and stretched before adding two fingers and curving them to brush against those nerves. Evan's head thrashed back and forth on the pillow as his hand beat the mattress
"You're torturing me!" Randy laughed but didn't stop. "Randy." He whined
"Alright, alright," Randy said tasting the precum dripping down the man's erection. "How are we doing this?"
"Anyway you want to is fine for me."
"Oh God, you're so fucking perfect." Randy said thrusting deep inside the small man. He gave a few customary gentle strokes before moving Evan's legs and letting his heels rest on his shoulders and pounding him. He watched Evan's face contort and listened to him call his name and beg for Randy not to stop. Randy let the man's leg slip down and without a thought Evan wrapped then around the older man as he pumped his hips. As he moved, Randy rubbed Evan's stomach muscles and they made eye contact as one of his hands traveled up and closer to the small man's neck. Evan groaned when the long and slim fingers wrapped around his neck and squeezed ever so slightly. "Do you remember?" Evan nodded
"Piñas." They said at the same time
"Fuck." Evan whispered as the grip around his throat tightened but the thrusting slowed. It was a wonderful contrast and he could feel his orgasm slowly creeping throughout his body. Randy was a great lover. Always attentive and in tune to what the body wanted and craved and Evan knew that he would never say no to him
"You're so fucking tight." Randy said licking his lips. "And so fucking good." He said grunting and moving faster. Evan reached for his cock and pumped his fist trying to bring on the climax that was ready to erupt at any second. Randy's hand tightened and Evan came hard cursing loudly as he did. He grabbed at the tall man so Randy leaned down and they shared a passionate kiss
"Cum for me Randy." Evan said huskily. Their lips locked together again as the older man's thrusts became erratic and he lost his rhythm
"Shit," He said panting heavily in Evan's ear
"Damn you're sweaty." Evan said laughing
"You're sweaty too." Randy responded kissing the man. "I'm tired. Can we just sleep like this?"
"If you were still hard yes but since you're not no. Get up." Randy grunted like an old man as he got off the man beneath him
Days Later
"Do we have any good snacks Ran? Ones that I can make myself?"
"You can make anything if you apply yourself."
"Is that a yes or a no?"
"Boy do you want to get slapped?"
"No. Not at all. In no way does that sound appealing to me."
"We have snacks. Why are you making snacks?"
"Ashleigh will be over in a little bit and I wanted to make sure there was something here in case she wants to nibble."
"Why is Ashleigh coming over?"
"She doesn't have anyone to help her fill out college applications so I told her I would help."
"That's awfully nice of you. John and I will be up in the office so if the two of you want a snack or something to eat just let me know and I'll make it for you."
"Thanks Ran." Cody said smiling. "Oh, that must be her." He said when they heard the doorbell ring. Randy kissed the young man and headed upstairs. "Hey Ash." Cody said opening the door
"Hi Mr. Rhodes. Thanks again for helping me."
"It's no problem. Come in."
"It's always so clean in here." The girl said stepping through the door
"Randy's a clean freak so he cleans every day."
"Every day?"
"Just about...he only dusts on Saturday and we have big Sunday dinners so he only does that Sunday."
"He's committed." Cody laughed
"Why don't we go to the kitchen so that we can get started on those apps?"
"After you."
"Do you want something to drink?"
"What do you have?"
"Water um, iced tea, raspberry tea, three types of milk,"
"I'll have the raspberry tea and I'm not even going to ask why you have three types of milk."
"Vanilla almond milk, 2% and Silk."
"Again, I'm not asking any questions." Cody laughed
"Okay then let's get started." Ashleigh pulled the papers from her book bag and placed them on the table. Cody looked through the stack and laughed. "You have pretty much every Florida college except University of South Florida."
"Yea because that's here in Tampa. I figure if I end up staying in Florida I don't want it to be here."
"Fair enough. You have Hawai'i Pacific, Chaminade University, Hawai'i at Hilo and Hawai'i at Manoa...you're really doing to do this aren't you?" Ashleigh nodded
"I have to get away. My dad's been saving for my college since he found out that my mom was pregnant and he says if I want to go all the way to Hawai'i then I can go. I have to get a job though to take care of some of the expenses. I'd really like to get a scholarship so I can stay on campus and not worry about the rent of an apartment. My dad has a lot of money and I know he could afford to pay for everything but I'm sure this is his way of trying to teach me a lesson of some sort."
"If you plan on moving then you need to learn a lot of lessons."
"I know but I think I'm pretty smart for a girl my age having to deal with all the stuff I've been through." Cody nodded. "I hope that Dimples lets me work in his hotel so I don't have to worry about that...but if I don't go to Hilo," Cody shook his head
"He's building in Honolulu too."
"That's so cool! I'm really going to miss you if I'm there."
"We're moving."
"What?!"
"You're not,"
"I know, I know. I'm not allowed to say anything. You have my word like always."
"Good. Anyway, after the hotel is done then John's going to retire."
"He'll make money anyway since he owns all those hotels."
"Right but he's doesn't want to go to the office every day. He finally wants to enjoy the fruits of his labor so he's letting Ran design and build a house and we're all moving."
"Even that little cutie patootie Evan?" Cody laughed
"Even cutie patootie Evan."
"But Mr. Rhodes," The girl said her eyes welling up with tears. "What if I have to stay in Florida and you leave?"
"I don't understand."
"What am I going to do with you gone? Who's going to counsel me?"
"You can call me and we can even Skype."
"It's not going to be the same."
"You have to do what's best for Ashleigh and not worry about me."
"But you've gotten me so far. I changed majors because of you."
"Me? What did I do?"
"I really wanted to be a pharmacist but after thinking about you helping me so much I decided to change my major to education so if there are any kids out there like me, and I know there are, I can help them like you helped me. I don't know if you realized how much your talks affected my life."
"No I didn't realize. I was just lending an ear but if I did help you then I'm happy I could do so."
"Me too...and you're not so bad on the eyes so that helps."
"Ashleigh."
...
"How is he?" John asked when Randy walked back into the office
"He's asleep which is what I want and why I gave him that medicine. I don't need Ev getting sick like he did last year so I'm trying to nip this case of the sniffles in the bud before we have Sickpocolypse in here again."
"No we do not want that again. Come over here and look at these and give me your opinion." Randy walked around to John's side of the desk and checked the pictures on the screen
"The view is gorgeous."
"What about this one?"
"Hm, nice but not as nice as the first one. What am I looking at?"
"Honolulu hotel spots."
"I'd go with the first one. That view will have guests picking your hotel every time." John nodded
"I still need to go there and take a look but I think you're right. Where's Cody? I think I want to get his opinion."
"You think?"
"Yea. Sometimes I want to get his thoughts but then he starts talking and I'm like, oh never mind." Randy gasped
"John!"
"What?"
"That is so rude."
"I'm just being honest. He can be a little long-winded."
"I don't," Randy shook his head. "I don't want to hear any more of this. There's only room for one resident mean person around here and I've already filled the position."
"You're handling your duties well. Where is Cody?"
"In the kitchen with Ashleigh."
"Ashleigh's here?"
"Yea, you didn't know?"
"Obviously not Randy."
"He's helping her fill out college applications."
"Oh, okay then. Nothing strange about that."
"You know that girl needs a constant in her life and Codes' is it."
"He is truly an exceptional teacher and all around human being...maybe he shouldn't stop teaching once we move."
"You already told him he didn't have to so you ruined that."
"Well maybe he won't since he does like it."
"Now that is a possibility."
"I'm kinda hungry." John announced
"Does that mean you want lunch?"
"Yes baby."
"Ugh." Randy said leaving the room with a smiling John behind him
"Hi guys." Ashleigh said when the men walked into the kitchen
"Hello."
"Hey. Do either of you want some lunch?"
"I could eat. Are you hungry Ash?"
"A little."
"You can either have chicken salad or a grilled cheese with tomato."
"That's a hard choice Ran."
"I'd like chicken salad please." John said sitting at the island
"We should share John that way I get the grilled cheese and chicken salad."
"I don't want grilled cheese though."
"But I want the chicken too."
"Jesus Christ." Randy said. "What's the matter with you?" He asked their guest
"You guys are so cute." She said covering her cheeks
"This happens a little too often for it to be cute."
"Well what if I get the chicken Mr. Rhodes and you take half and I'll have half the grilled cheese?"
"That's perfect. Thanks Ashleigh."
"You're welcome."
"What's Evy having?"
"I don't know. Soup and a grilled cheese probably...he's sleeping right now anyway."
"On a Saturday afternoon?"
"He's a little under the weather."
"Aww. Cutie Patootie's got the sniffles." Randy and John laughed
"What?"
"I'm always Mr. Rhodes; you're Mr. Randy, Dimples and now Ev's Cutie Patootie."
"He is an adorable little shit."
"How's the application process coming along?"
"We're almost done actually."
"Baby?"
"Yes?"
"If Ashleigh gets into one of the schools she chose in Hawai'i can she work at one of the hotels? Her dad says she needs a job."
"You're applying for school all the way in Hawai'i?!" John asked looking at the girl
"Yes."
"And you're sure you want to do that?"
"Yes."
"Do you know how to answer phones and work a computer?"
"Yes." John shrugged
"I guess you can work at the front desk then. I don't have a problem with that as long as you're a good worker."
"I've never had a job."
"You have to start somewhere."
"I'll try my best."
"That's all I ask. Where are you going to live?"
"Hopefully I get a scholarship so I can live on campus if not then I'll be in an apartment."
"How will you be able to afford an apartment? Front desk positions don't pay that much."
"I know that my dad will help me he just wants me to take some responsibility. He won't let me be homeless."
"Well we wouldn't let you be homeless either. Did you talk to her Cody?"
"About our plans? Yes."
"If you want I can look at decent places for you while I'm out there and you can talk it over with your dad or whatever you need to do." Ashleigh nodded
"I'd like that very much. Thanks Dimples."
"You're welcome. I'll try and keep you closer to us so you can pop in every now and again for a home cooked meal." Ashleigh smiled
"Thank you."
"I can't believe I'm about to say this but since we're moving I'll have to get rid of my apartment so anything you need dishes or even furniture wise you can have...except the mattress, I'll buy you a new mattress."
"What part of that didn't you want to say Mr. Randy?"
"He doesn't want to get rid of his apartment." Cody and John said at the same time
"Why do you have an apartment?"
"It's mine."
"But you live here."
"Just let it go sweetheart. Mr. Randy has an unhealthy attachment to that place."
"Has it or has it not come in handy?"
"He has a point there John."
"Whatever." John said before taking a bite of his sandwich. The group was eating their lunch and talking when they heard coughing and slippers scraping against the floor. Everyone looked toward the doorway and saw a disheveled Evan and his oversized dog slippers walk into the kitchen
"Are you okay Ev? Where are your glasses?"
"I wanted some tea and a cough drop and I left them in my room so I'm virtually blind right now. Hi Ashleigh."
"Hi."
"What kind of tea do you want?"
"Hot." Evan said sitting at the island and putting his head down
"Good answer." Randy said firing up the teakettle. "What sounds good to you? Regular, peppermint, strawberry kiwi...white ambrosia?"
"Mmhm, the last one and a cough drop."
"I left you some cough drops on the table next to your bed." Evan whimpered and kicked his dangling legs
"I just barely rolled out of bed so I didn't see them."
"Well I don't know what to tell you other than to go back up to your room and eat one. I can bring the tea when it's ready."
"This sucks." Evan said sliding out of his chair
"You only have the sniffles, not even a real cold."
"I still don't feel well."
"Because you're feeling sorry for yourself." Randy said turning the flame down on the stove. "Come on." He said picking up Evan who didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around Randy's neck. He took the man upstairs and back to his room. "Puppy stay."
"Very funny only it wasn't funny." Randy laughed anyway as he left the room
"What?" He asked walking back in the kitchen. "Why are you smiling like that Ashleigh?"
"You and Cutie Patootie are a thing too. Everyone in here has a little thing going with someone else." The girl said waving her hands around. "On the outside it seems like it would be so wrong but it works so it's right. I support everything you guys do." The guys laughed
"Well thank you Ashleigh." John said. "Although I'm not sure how comfortable I am with you being almost privy to our inner workings."
"Oh I don't think about you guys doing it or anything."
"Oh my." Cody said
"And on that note, I'm going to take this tea upstairs." After lunch was cleaned up John went back to the office, Randy stayed with Evan in his room while Cody helped Ashleigh finish the applications, stuff them in envelopes and seal them
"This was kind of exhausting. Thanks for your help."
"You're right and you're welcome. It wasn't that long ago but I forgot how time consuming it can be."
"How old are you?"
"Not much older than you."
"Well you're at least four years older than me since you went to college."
"You're right." Ashleigh laughed
"You're not going to tell me are you?"
"No but I'm sure if you think about it and do some basic addition you'll figure it out."
"Good one Mr. Rhodes."
"Would you like to stay for dinner or do you want me to give you a ride home?"
"I'd love to stay for dinner and I totally would if I didn't have plans with Colby and Kami. I should cancel."
"Don't do that Ash."
"I'm only kidding but I do wish I could stay."
"You can have dinner with us another time. It'll be better because Ev won't be sick."
"Oh yea, poor guy."
"Do you want to say bye before going?"
"Yea since everyone is so nice."
"Come on." Ashleigh followed Cody up the stairs stopping at Evan's door first
"Bye guys." She said waving
"See ya later Ashleigh."
"Bye." Evan said waving
"John?"
"Yea?"
"Oh my God." She gasped. "This is your bedroom?"
"Uh-huh."
"How do you even get up in the morning?"
"With a lot of help from Randy and about six alarms." John laughed
"Are you leaving?"
"Yes."
"You're taking her right?"
"Uh-huh."
"Okay. It was nice having you over. Did you want to stay for dinner?"
"She has plans John."
"Oh! Too cool to hang out with us? I understand."
"It's not like that Dimples."
"No, no, it's cool."
"We're stopping at the post office to drop off her papers then I'm taking her home." John nodded
"Okay. Be safe baby."
"I will."
"Bye Ashleigh."
"Later Dimples." John laughed as he shook his head
Eight Weeks Later
"Oh my god...fucking harder John." Randy lay there watching John hammer Cody. Later that day John would be heading to Hawai'i so around 4:30 he'd walked around to Randy's side of the bed and woken him up for some action before he had to go. In the midst of their coupling Cody woke up and joined them. Now that Randy was spent it was Cody's turn to have John to himself. Randy smirked as Cody worked against John's thrusts driving the man deeper inside of him. It was amazing to see how far Cody had come. He wasn't into toys, yet, but he definitely had taken a liking to the rougher side of sex. John held onto the smaller man's waist and thrust harder. "Oh god!" Cody yelled as John brought him to the pinnacle then sent him over the edge. "Don't stop John. I want to feel you cum baby." John growled as he filled the young man
"Holy shit." John said collapsing onto the bed after Cody moved. "I need a nap...like 45 minutes then I can get up and take a shower."
"You know you're going to sleep for longer than 45 minutes."
"I want to say bye to you before I leave baby so you can't go to sleep."
"Just wake me up before you go so I can get a hug and a kiss okay?"
"Okay." Cody said getting up to shower
"I'm going to shower then make breakfast."
"Mmhm." John grunted already falling asleep. Randy laughed as he got up and went to the bathroom. He stepped into the shower and saw Cody just standing there. "What's wrong with you?"
"I don't want him to go."
"Neither do I but it is what it is."
"He's going to be gone for so long though." Cody said taking the bottle of body wash being handed to him
"John has business to take care of and you know that. I know that you're going to miss him and I'll miss him too but this is the first and the last time we're having this conversation. You can't do this each time he leaves. It makes it hard on me too."
"I'm sorry Ran but you know how I get with John."
"I know baby...that's why I didn't punch you in the face."
"Ran." Cody said dejectedly
"What? Sometimes when you whine I want to punch you."
"I'll keep that in mind."
"Please do." Once Cody had showered he dressed then went downstairs for breakfast. He ate quickly then went back upstairs and shook John awake
"Yes baby?"
"I have to go to work now." John stretched then brought his arms down and wrapped them around the young man
"I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too. Don't find any sexy Samoan boys like Roman while you're out there." John laughed
"I won't find any sexy Samoan boys like Roman while I'm out there. I'm going strictly for business and to get work done."
"Okay. I'm not going to ask when you'll be back because it'll just make me sadder if you don't say tomorrow." John put his hands under Cody's arms and pulled him up so they were face to face
"When I come back you'll be the first I kiss and hug even if that means I have to make a detour up to school from the airport."
"Good." John smiled
"I love you."
"I love you too John."
"Good morning." Evan said walking into the room
"Morning." John said
"I just came in to say have a safe and productive trip and I'll see you when you come back."
"Thanks and I'll see you when I get back."
"I was going to hug you too but you've got a blanket on so,"
"Get up Cody. You have to go to work now anyway." Cody whimpered as he climbed off John who was able to hug Evan
"Come on Codes." Cody leaned down and kissed John
"Call me when you get there."
"It's a thirteen hour flight so you'll be home by then."
"Can you just call please?"
"I will call. Have a good day." John said lying back down. Evan had to push Cody out of the room
Later
"It's almost 11 Randy." The tall man only squeezed John tighter. "Don't do this to me babe."
"I don't want you to go John." John sighed and tangled his legs with Randy's on the bed
"You know that if I could stay I would but I can't."
"I know. I'm sorry I said that." John laughed
"There's no reason for you to be sorry." John's phone rang
"It's the car." Randy said
"I know."
"Give me a kiss then get the fuck out of here." John laughed and kissed Randy
"I love you."
"I love you." The men untangled themselves and walked downstairs where Randy helped John carry his bags out to the car. They hugged for nearly a minute before kissing again
"I'll see you later." The younger man just nodded his head. "And I'll call when I get in."
"Okay." John got into the car and his driver shut the door. Randy moved back up the walkway to the front door and disappeared inside the house as the SUV drove off. To combat the sadness he felt Randy threw himself into housework starting with the downstairs master bedroom. By the time he finished cleaning every bed in the house had been stripped and remade with clean linens, each piece of carpet had been vacuumed, his appliances were cleaned and polished and the floors in the house hand-washed. When Evan and Cody walked through the door they just stood there looking at the sparkle on every surface. They found Randy sitting outside with a glass of wine
"Well we figured out what you did today." Evan said leaning down and kissing him. Randy laughed
"Is it that obvious?"
"We can see our reflections on the floor." Cody added giving Randy two kisses. "Why are you out here?"
"The house is too clean and quiet so Max and I are just out here relaxing and listening to nature."
"Is it safe to assume that you're not making dinner?"
"That is a very safe assumption Puppy. I'm not ready to mess up the kitchen yet so the two of you decide what you want for dinner and we'll go there."
"Okay." The younger men answered in unison
"Go change your clothes."
"Yes Randy." They answered
"That's what I like to hear." Randy smiled
