Disclaimer: I own nothing of Fairy Tail but Scarlet Destiny is all mine.

There was only silence. No one spoke. Even the supposed loud footsteps was muffled by the red carpet perfectly.

Lucy let out a sharp gasp as she continued in her silent tread. She finally lifted her gaze from the carpet to the right-hand side where her partner was walking. Ren was staring straight head seeming to be in deep thought. However, like he knew that she was staring at him, Ren suddenly turned his head and his blue eyes caught Lucy's.

The corners of his lips lifted up in an encouraging smile. Lucy felt the smiles instantly as one of her own formed on her face. Even though she only found out about Ren's troubled past a few moments ago, she couldn't help but feel that it had brought her and Ren more close together, more in tuned with one another. Lucy couldn't really help the feeling. She just felt so connected with Ren.

Once she and Ren had regrouped with Happy and Natsu, they had come to a swift agreement to find Sarah. It was actually a surprise to Lucy. That Natsu had agreed to Ren and Lucy so quickly. Actually, Lucy thought, speaking of Natsu...He was unusually quiet.

Lucy eyes quickly darted to the pink-haired dragon slayer who was walking silently beside Ren. His face was towards to the floor as he just walked on. From this angle, Lucy could see Natsu's face looked a bit forlorn. Which was really strange to her. The boy always had a smile on his face, no matter what, so to see him this grim was rather surprising. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong him.

Unknown to Lucy, Natsu heard everything. He hadn't meant too, but dragon slayers had acute hearing, and Ren and Lucy hadn't been that far away from him. Natsu had heard everything about Ren's past. And, it was the blue-haired boy's past that was making Natsu's thoughts whirl.

Natsu could never imagine not knowing Igneel. His dragon father was a huge part of his life, so to have it missing...No, Natsu couldn't even begin to imagine how that would feel. And, knowing it happened to someone else...Natsu cursed himself in his mind. Even he knew he was stupid by bringing up Ren's dragon. Part of Natsu felt like apologising to Ren even if he didn't usually do that. Another part of him was begging him to not bring it up since he had no idea how Ren would react that he knew about his past.

In other words, Natsu was confused as hell. And, thinking about all this stuff was making him agitated, depressed, and just downright moody.

"Hm...I have a thought..." Happy suddenly spoke up in the air, breaking the deafening silence.

Lucy turned towards Happy,

"What is it?"

"I don't think we're going to find Sarah like this. Just wondering around having no idea where we should go is just wasting time. Don't you think?"

Ren huffed instantly at Happy's words, paused in his walking (causing everyone else too as well) and crossed his arms, before nodding his head in agreement,

"I agree with you Happy. But, what else can we do? Have you seen this place? It's like a maze with all these hallways!"

Lucy eyes widened at Ren's words as the idea instantly sprung into her mind.

"That's it Ren! You're a genius!"

"Eh?!" Ren yelled back, cheeks reddening by the unexpected compliment.

Natsu's eyebrow twitched slightly by Lucy's words while Happy lifted a paw to his mouth to stifle his laughter.

"You've got the right idea! You just said this place is a maze and your completely right. We are in a maze! This whole mansion has been structured as a maze. That's why it's so confusing to find your way around here." Lucy explained.

"Why does it matter if this place is a maze? It doesn't help us that much." Natsu said, not understanding what the fuss was all about.

"Because," Lucy started "When going through a maze, how do you win?"

"You win a maze by finding the middle part of it right? The middle is where the prize is." Ren answered but was still slightly confused what Lucy was going on about.

"Exactly! That's what we do here. If we try to the find the middle, the centre, of this mansion then we win! It's just a theory but I believe that's where Sarah is. If we find the centre of this house then we find Sarah. I believe she's at the centre of this maze, this mansion." Lucy replied.

"It won't be easy to find the centre, will it?" Happy asked.

"I don't think it will...But, Ren managed to catch Zolo's scent before right? That means he can try to find Sarah's scent even with the mansion trying to block it. If we use our simple directions, we could easily find the centre and her." Lucy explained.

There was a small gap of silence before Ren replied,

"Yosh! Your right! If I try hard enough then I should be able to catch Sarah's scent. I'm positive I can."

"I'll try too." Natsu piped up suddenly.

He figured out that if Sarah was in the middle then that meant this 'Lord' guy would be too. And he couldn't wait to meet the 'Lord' guy and beat the crap out of him.

With the quick decision made, the four of them started down the hallway more faster, determined to find Sarah.

Erza eyes widened as the floor broke right in front of her eyes. But that didn't mean she was ill-prepared for what she would do next. In a matter of a single second, Erza body glowed before a beautiful weight armour appeared on her.

The Heaven's Wheel Armour.

Using its ability, she flew in mid-air as the previous hallway floor was completely obliterated. It caused a small dust cloud to appear blocking Erza's view. It took a few minutes to settle. Once it did, Erza had a look of slight surprise on her face.

With the floor gone, the room below the hallway was revealed. This room was large, spacious and empty. The walls were brown and were very far apart. It was a humongous room. And, now that it was partly combined with the hallway above it, the room became even bigger.

Erza quickly lowered herself to the new rooms floor that was covered in rubble. Her eyes quickly glanced around before they landed on the body on the floor a few feet away from her.

Zolo was lying on his back covered in light brown dust. He twitched slightly, before bringing his body up in a sitting position. His face looked extremely pissed and angry,

"Tch, what the hell?" Zolo barked "Why did that bastard break the floor?"

Erza sighed slightly before replying,

"Why didn't you dodge his attack?"

Zolo turned to her, rage in his eyes yet Erza looked on not even bothered by it at this point, before answering,

"There was nothing I could do. Does it look I have wings on my back? Or that I can fly?!" Zolo snarled sarcastically.

Erza was about to reply to that but before she could another voice spoke up,

"If this is all you have, I am truly disappointed. This fight will not last long, I suppose."

Erza and Zolo both quickly looked to the voice. And, there a few spaces away from that was the brown-haired man with a cape. Even though he was the one who broke the floor, he had not a single dust speck on him. Master Kyron.

"You-" Erza started only to be interrupted,

"What you are thinking is correct. My magic is very simple. I break what I touch. Anything. Everything. I'll break it to pieces. The same goes for you two. Did you know there are 206 bones in your body? And I plan on breaking each and every one of them in both you." Kyron promised calmly.

Even though Erza was very strong and tough, she felt a very light chill run up her spine. There was something about this man saying his threat so calmly get to her. But, there was no way in hell she was going to let this feeling take control.

Zolo, on the other hand, didn't seem so bothered by Kyron's words. Kazuki was already in his hand, ready to go. Zolo's other free hand was on the hilt of his other sword, Akki, ready to draw it for blood.

"I would like to see you try!" laughed at Zolo, ready for battle.

Unlike Zolo, Erza was thinking logically. She knew very well that she and Zolo were at a huge disadvantage. Both she and him were sword using. When fighting, they went into close combat. However, with the opponent's ability to break what he touches that means it would be hard to get close to him.

"Come at me then. Let's see if you have any abilities, mind user." Kyron replied, not moving a muscle.

Zolo growled lowly, not liking his opponents calm attitude, before he launched at Kyron.

"Wait!" Erza commanded but it just fell on deaf ears.

When only a couple of steps away, Zolo raised Kazuki in the air and slashed down, aiming for Kyron's chest. Kyron finally let out an emotion, a small smile appeared on his face, before he quickly stepped sidewise avoiding Zolo's attack.

Seeing this, Erza quickly went into action. She zoomed forwards and flanked Kyron's other side. She summoned a huge, shard sword in her hand and swished it aiming for Kyron's side. Although, she too missed as Kyron took a swift step backwards dodging.

However as soon as he dodged the attack, he suddenly shot his arm forwards to Erza. The red-haired girl eyes widened and she flew backwards trying to avoid Kyron's hand. She was a tad too late as Kyron managed to brush his hand against Erza's arm covered armour.

Even as Erza fled backwards, she heard the cracking sound as her armour broke. A huge chunk broke off and fell to the floor with a loud clang, leaving a huge portion of her arm exposed.

As for Kyron, after he brushed his hand against Erza's armour, he turned to Zolo quickly and reached forwards. He grabbed Zolo's sword in his hand and gripped tightly. Zolo knowing what this could do knew he had to quickly removed his sword from Kyron's grip. Since he was close to Kyron, Zolo lashed a leg out managing to hit Kyron's gut hard.

Kyron let go of Zolo's sword and the latter quickly jumped a few spaces back joining Erza side. Erza, on the other hand, looked at Zolo's sword that seemed to still be intact.

"How come your sword didn't break?" Erza asked as she stared at the sword.

Zolo let out a small 'Tch' before closing his eyes. He breathed deeply, rather calmly for a character liked him, before opening his eyes and staring harshly at Kyron.

"Like I said before, my swords have a mind and power of their own. Kazuki used his own magical power to protect himself from the breaking magic. That's why he didn't break. Although, this has severe consequences. Using his power like this, means Kazuki won't be able to go to his full extent. It won't be able to cut everything it touches. Also, Kazuki has a limit. If that bastard manages to touch my swords for long enough then he will be able to break it." Zolo explained, his last sentence causing him to grit his teeth together hard.

Just as Erza had thought, this was going to be a tough battle. Neither she or Zolo could get close to him without consequences. Kyron could easily break her armour by the looks of it. Not to mention that with that has happened so far, Erza could also tell that Kyron had very good hand-to-hand capabilities. Things were piling up against them.

"We need to work together to defeat Kyron. We need to plan and not rushed into this, Zolo." Erza announced as she readied herself for any oncoming assault.

Before Zolo could replay to that, Kyron spoke up instead,

"Well, this is rather a surprise. I had not thought that you would want to work together, Titania if I am correct? No matter. I did not think you would want to work with a killer." Kyron mused.

"Killer?" Zolo repeated, no emotion on his voice.

Erza glanced at Zolo not so sure what to think of his tone. His face, as well, was blank as he stared at Kyron.

"Yes, a killer. To be honest, you make me and my guild looks like saints. I know that Titania has figured out who you are. But, if not, let's start from the beginning. Three years ago there was a ruthless killer within this world. This killer was merciless. He killed for money. Did not matter if the target was a young child or an old elder, he would still kill them. Hundreds fell at his swords. What was this killers nickname...Oh yes! He was called the 'two-sword slayer'."

Erza snapped her head to Zolo. His back was ridged. His hand tightened on his sword even harder at Kyron's words. She had figured out who he was a while ago when he probed her on. She knew who he was. Back then, three years ago, many people were scared of the 'two-sword slayer'. He was known as a dark killer. A mercenary that put those in his own profession in fear just by his nickname.

Erza had heard about him a lot. Hell, she had even thought about searching for Zolo back in the day to take him down. Although, that never happened as one day the 'two-sword slayer' seemed to disappear like a whisper. Never to be seen. Never to be heard from. Nothing about him came up. He was just...gone.

Erza caught on what Kyron was doing instantly. And she knew how she should handle this.

"Don't let him to get to you! He's using mind games to make you angry. He's trying to mess with us. Trying to cause us to attack in haste!" Erza snapped.

Zolo took a deep breath before replaying,

"I know that Titania. I'm not stupid...So, you trying to say these stuff to make me lose it? Please! That will never work. Want me to start to get angry and emotional over my past? Heh, not going to happen. Your completely right. I am a killer. Always have been. I've always been on the road to darkness. How about I turn the tables and tell you everything?" Zolo said, with one eyebrows raised.

Erza eyes widened, wondering what the green-haired man was talking about or was about to do.

"What-" Erza started to only to be interrupted,

"My parents died when I was young. Don't really remember them. I was raised by an orphanage. Although, that didn't last long. When I was six the orphanage got attacked by a dark guild. Most children were taken as slaves. Including me...Yet, the master of that dark guild saw something in me. God knows what and I don't really care. They decided to mould me to be the perfect assassin. On my very first mission, I found Akki and it bonded with me and my magic. Worked well as you can tell. By ten, I killed many and actually enjoyed it. However, that changed when I was 13. My dark guild was ambushed by the council and other 'good' guilds and everyone was killed. Expect from me. I survived and decided to stay in the dark path by becoming a mercenary assassin. Like you said, I killed a lot of people. And gained that annoying, stupid nickname. I had no remorse. No forgiveness. No nothing." Zolo explained.

Erza figured out what the S-Class age was trying to do. By telling his life in the open it meant that Kyron could in no way, shape, or form use his past against him. It was a clever plan, she supposed.

Then, Erza thought about what Zolo revealed. While, he said those words in a least then bothered way, Erza knew Zolo had a hard past. She, herself, wondered how it would be to be reformed into someone's else's view. That's what had been. Zolo, at a young age, had been turned into a weapon, a puppet by this dark guild master. And, he had stayed that way for a long time.

Zolo didn't care that he just revealed important information about himself to strangers. They already knew who he was. So, what did it matter if he gave them insider details? Also, he knew the past didn't matter. He wasn't what he was. He changed. He felt remorse. And he felt guild for everything he had done. For every person he killed.

Kyron, on the other hand, just raised a single eyebrow by Zolo's confession. If he had cared in any form for the mind user, he knew he would feel pity for his past. But, he didn't really care at all. Loads of people had dark past. Including him. However, he had the Lord. His saviour. So none of that mattered.

"Are you done spilling? I would rather get back to fighting." Kyron replied.

Zolo stared at Kyron for a second before a maddening grin split on his face.

"Your wish to fight? I'll fulfil that command!"

In one swift movement, Zolo drew out Akki from its case and held it up along with his other sword. Then, he launched at Kyron. Erza quickly caught on to what he was doing, and followed Zolo's pursuit.

Both Zolo and Erza attack Kyron, Zolo on the left and Erza on the right, flanking either side. However, like Erza had predicted both really were at a severe disadvantage. Erza's swords broke instantly whenever they came into contact with Kyron as he always blocked it with his hand. She seemed to be summon sword after sword except it did nothing. Kyron would break them. Including her armour whenever Kyron managed to touch it. Her Heaven wheels armour was covered with big gaps where her armour had broken.

Zolo was not faring much better. Every time he would get close to cutting his opponent apart, Kyron would manage to grip his sword in his hand which would cause Zolo to try to find some way or another to try to get his sword back.

Neither S-Class mages risked initiating hand-to-hand combat. If what Kyron had said before about breaking their bones, then it was safe to say if he landed a skin-to-skin touch then that meant he would be able to break some bones. This would not be good for either mages.

"Damn it! If only I could avoid that breaking magic! I would be able to slice him apart by now!" Zolo complained as he took position a few feet away from Kyron.

"Stop complaining. It's not doing any good." Erza replied back, panting, as she placed herself next to Zolo.

Both were breathing heavily. While neither had gained any flesh wounds, their weapons was another story. Kyron, on the other side, seemed very calm. He wasn't breathing heavily. Nor did he have a scratch on him. He was a tough opponent indeed.

"Let's go!" Erza ordered, ready to go back into fighting as well as trying to buy time to think of a plan.

However that never happened.

'There will be no introduction. You do not need to know my identity nor do I have a right to give it to you..."

The Lord made his introduction. No one spoke while the mysterious figure spoke in their minds. Kyron's emotions seemed to reveal itself a tad bit as a small smile came upon his face when hearing the Lord in his mind. No one spoke a sound.

After the conversation in their heads was over, there was only silence. Erza was the first to fearlessly tear it apart,

"To think that you would kidnap and hurt one of their guild members...Lacus Animairum is full of scumbags." Erza hissed at Kyron, feeling anger radiate inside of her body.

"We are many things, but scumbags is not one of them. We did what he had to do. Fairy Tail...Scarlet Destiny...Both will be obliterated by our hands." Kyron replied briskly.

"You have no idea what you've done..." Zolo suddenly spoke up.

He was staring at Kyron, and while no emotion was on his face his body told a different story. It was stiff and ridged. His knuckles were bright white from gripping his swords so tightly. It was obvious he was more than furious.

"What do you mean, mind user?" Kyron asked, one eyebrow raised in slight interest.

"Targeting and hurting Sarah is the worst thing you could have done. You just unleashed the wrath of my master. I have no idea where Jared is right now but I know very well that he is beyond angry. He'll kill you. My master will kill you all." Zolo replied, his voice serious and on edge.

"We know all about your master very well. He will go down." Kyron replied.

"Yeah right," Zolo scoffed "Looks like you didn't do your research well. Hurting Sarah is the worst sin, worst mistake you could ever do. I should know. I've done it before."

That gained Erza's attention,

"What?!"

She saw how Scarlet Destiny reacted, the way they were with another. They were all very close like how Fairy Tail is. She couldn't imagine one of them hurting the other seriously.

"It was three years ago. I was still an assassin then. I got assigned with a simple job. Kill Jared, the master of Scarlet Destiny. On one of Jared's former missions, he gained an enemy of a wealthy elite. They hired me to kill Jared. I went to do exactly that. You should have seen how surprised I was when I couldn't cut down that fifteen year old boy nor use my mind magic at him. Even as I tried to kill him Jared was laughing the whole time, making fun, asking me about my powers and other stupid stuff." Zolo said.

"Since I couldn't hurt him directly, I decided to do the next best thing. Use mind magic on his partner, Sarah who was present at the fight between us. Forcing entry into a mind can hurt the victim a lot. It did to her. I had to stop halfway though...Never mind, the point is I hurt Sarah. Jared whole demeanour changed. The cheerful boy was gone and instead stood a furious being."

Zolo paused and suddenly let out a hallow chuckle.

"Jared hurt me a lot. I'm pretty sure that little boy broke every damn bone in my body. He was merciless. I would have been in agony for months on end if that shy kid hadn't healed me up afterwards. It was embarrassing for me, a being so strong, to lose to a little kid. And, then said kid decided to ask me to join his guild after and would not leave me alone until I did. And, then to persuade me, he showed me Kazuki. The other half of my sword. If I wanted Kazuki, I had to join the guild. Which, I did. Only for the sword."

"I hated Scarlet Destiny so much. I hated the guild. Everyone and everything in it. Yet, they grow on you a lot. They manage to weasel their way in and make you care for them."

Zolo paused in his speech and looked up at Kyron, straight in his eyes,

"And, now I know..." A small pause

"I would die for my guild."

As quick as lightning, Zolo rushed to Kyron with both swords raised both his swords to deal a deadening slash.

The bright light launched at Kurai and Levy wondered in a split second if the attack would hit her. If it did, that would be a massive blow.

However, that did not happen. At the last second, Kurai just seemed to disappear. The blast went straight past where Kurai was meant to be and hit the wall with a huge crash. The result was a big hallow hole made in the wall with a smoke trail coming off it.

"Damn it!" Veruna cursed as she moved closer to Levy "I was sure that was going to get her! I hate that she can turn invisible!"

"That's not what she can do," Levy blurted out.

A confused look appeared on Veruna's face.

"What are you talking about? I swear that her magic is turning invisible. That's how she's been disappearing and stuff." Veruna replied.

"That's not it," Levy disagreed "If she could just turn invisible then your sun blast would have still hit Kurai as she didn't have any time to move away from it. But, your attack missed."

"What does that mean then? What are you talking about? What is her magic?"

"I think," Levy began "that when she disappears, she does exactly that. Kurai literally disappears. I don't know where she goes but somehow she just vanishes."

A female laugh peeled though the air seeming to come from every direction. It put both Levy and Veruna on edge. Where was she?

"Looks like the midget is getting it." Kurai spoke up.

Levy instantly gained a tick mark on her forehead.

"I'm not a midget!"

"My magic is interesting. I'll tell you all about it since you desperately want to know. When I disappear I do actually disappear like the midget said. I go into a separate dimension that I created with my magic. This dimension is parallel to yours except you can't see it or enter it. However, in my dimension I can see and hear everything that happens here. I can send things out of it like my arrows to pierce you. In other words, you're sitting ducks. You can't get me when I'm in my dimension. You can't win this battle!" Kurai explained with laughter.

Veruna gritted her teeth hard. Levy eyes narrowed in worry and panic. This was so much worse than she imagined Kurai's power to be. She and Veruna needed to think of something and something quick.

"Now, dance for me my puppets!" Kurai's voice commanded out of nowhere.

Instantly, a shower of red arrows flew out of nowhere aimed at both Veruna and Levy. They tried to dodge what they could but the red arrows seemed endless. Some arrows managed to nick Levy in her arms drawing blood. Veruna too. Part of her clothes were ripped revealing skin that was bleeding.

"What are we going to do?" Veruna asked breathlessly as she dodge another arrow.

"I got a plan." Levy panted as she and went back to back with Veruna.

The red arrows seemed to stop for now.

"If we talk about it-" Veruna started but Levy interrupted.

"I got that sorted," Levy started as she quickly used her solid script magic "We can talk, trust me Veruna."

Veruna nodded her head and quickly spoke,

"What's the plan?"

"I've studied Kurai's movement. I figured out more of her magic. She has this dimension she can go into but I've noticed that she can only stay in this dimension for two minutes. After two minutes she always comes out and appears in front of us. That's how I deduced she can only stay in the dimension for two minutes." Levy announced.

"How long till she can go back into her dimension?" Veruna asked.

"I counted 30 seconds. She needs to be in this world for 30 seconds before she leaves for her own dimension again. We have a very small margin I know. But, if we can beat Kurai in one full blown attack while she's out of her dimension-"

"We win." Veruna finished nodding her head.

"Exactly. That's why I've come up with a full attack that should work."

"Tell me."

Kurai pull the arrow carefully on her bow. As a hunter, she never missed. She was just playing with her prey. That's why none of her arrows hit the mark completely. But, she had to admit. The two girls she was against could dodge well. Now, she could see them as she was hidden from view. They were back to back in silence. She wondered what they were up too. Well, whatever it was, she wasn't going to let them do it anymore.

Her time limit in her own dimension was nearly up. Quickly, Kurai escaped it and appeared in the real world a few feet away from good girls.

"Missed me?" Kurai asked as she aimed her arrow.

"Who would ever missed you?" Veruna yelled out loud, sceptre in hand, "Why don't you hunt us face-to-face instead of hiding?!"

Kurai chuckled.

"If you think you can try to manipulate me, you got another thing coming. Hunters do their best in hiding, you know? That's why I'm the best at it!"

"Your going to lose!" Levy yelled out to her.

"Oh yeah midget? That's what you think. I'm nearly done with you too. And, I'm pretty sure Red should be done with your boyfriend right about now as well."

"Gajeel's not my boyfriend!"

Kurai laughed out loud. Suddenly, she took a step backwards and stated to disappear.

"I'm bored with you prey. It all ends now."

Veruna eyes widened when she saw Kurai disappear once again.

"Hey! Come back here! Face us! Don't you dare hide away again!" Veruna shouted out loud in anger.

Suddenly her sceptre started to glow and a large bright shot out of it hitting a random wall. Followed by another. And another. Multiple sun light beams continuously shot out of Veruna's spectre as if she could hit Kurai with them. They flew all over the place, making multiple halls across the walls and ceiling.

Kurai laughed in her own dimension.

"That's not going to work!" Kurai yelled "You can't get me! You can never touch or hurt me!"

Those words didn't stop Veruna as she continued to shoot out the beams of sunlight. Kurai's entire focus was on the girl as she couldn't help but laugh and snicker in her own dimension as she watched Veruna flail around.

Levy smiled, as things seemed to be going to plan. She just had to do one more thing and the plan would be good to go.

However, suddenly her vision blurred. Her head pounded. Levy dropped to one knee, panting loudly. Suddenly, it just felt as if all her energy was being sucked away.

She wasn't the only one. Veruna, too, ceased fire. She stopped so quickly and just seemed to stumble as if she lost all her bearing and balance. She fumbled before she hit the ground on both knees looking very sick.

"What the.." Veruna trailed off "Happing to me?"

"Looks like the poison is starting to kick in." Kurai's voice came out of nowhere, seemingly bored.

"Poi..son?" Levy asked questionly as she could see dots and stars appear in her gaze.

"Of course poison!" Kurai's voice laughed out from nowhere "You really think I attacked you with plain red arrows? The tips of my arrows are poisoned. Since, I scraped you with them, the poisons settle in. It takes away all your energy rendering you paralysed before unconscious."

'Oh no..' Levy thought in her mind. She should have seen this coming! Of course the arrows were poisoned!

"I doubt you have long left. A minuet perhaps at most. Then you won't be able to move at all. And, once you both are unconscious then I'll just finish you off before going to the rest of your friends." Kurai revealed.

One minuet. One minuet till the poison settled in completely. One minuet till Kurai had to come out of her dimension. It was all down to this very last minuet,

"Damn it!" Veruna cursed out loudly.

She focused whatever energy she had left and commanded her body to stand. Her legs trembled furiously, unable to keep her weight standing. Veruna raised her shaky arm that held the sceptre in her hand.

"Sun Blast!"

Another bright beam of light flew out of her spectre and hit the wall. Again, Veruna focused and repeated her attack again. She had too! She had to keep this up! Veruna kept on shooting while Kurai watched her amusingly in her own dimension.

Levy focused a lot too. She needed to finish this. So close. She needed to focus!

Time was almost up for them all.

5...

"Looks like you only have five seconds left by my calculations! Then, you both are down for the count!"

4...

"Come out! I'm not going to stop shooting until you do!" Veruna shouted as loud as she could, her voice sounding very horse and weak.

3...

There was a loud thud. Veruna looked back and saw Levy dropped to the group. One of her arms outstretched and only one eye barely open. Her chest was moving up and down rapidly. It was obvious she was doing really badly, the poison working perfectly.

2...

"LEVY!" Veruna numbly shouted as the spots in her eyesight were getting increasingly larger.

1..

No, Veruna! Focus! Kurai's going to come out now! Do not fall! Do not give up!

0...

Kurai's leg first appeared along with the rest of her body on Veruna's right-hand side which she quickly caught. Spinning around, Veruna raised her spectre and aimed.

"Moon Capture!"

A dark beam shot of Veruna spectre and quickly headed to Kurai. Since Kurai couldn't dodge it since she was coming out of her dimension the attack hit her in the face.

A glimpse of a smile broke out on Veruna's face before she fell. Her head smashed hard on the ground as her body gave up. She crumpled in on herself and was stomach-first on the floor unable to move at all. Both eyes were barely open and watching.

There was a small second of silence while all three bodies lay on the floor. That was, until one stood up.

Kurai managed to steady herself into a standing position. She looked around however couldn't take anything in. Everything was blank. Everything was dark. She couldn't see a thing. She panicked at first wondering what the hell had happened, how come she couldn't see, before remembering that blast Veruna had sent. That's when she told herself to calm down.

"Everything's dark...Is that what that spell did? Did you just rob my eyesight?" Kurai asked.

Silence answered her. Kurai burst out laughing even though she couldn't see a thing.

"Looks like you two were coming up with a plan while you were silent?! I guess it didn't work out huh?! You weren't counting on the poison. Well, whatever you were planning to do by robbing my eyesight isn't going to work now! You cannot move! And soon enough because of the poison you will be unconscious. And even without my eyesight, I'll finish both of you off! I bet when I kill you, Veruna, my eyesight will return!"

Kurai continued to laugh as she basked in her win. Head chucked back.

But, then she stopped.

It was faint. Very faint. But, she could hear it. A slight bobbing sound...Like, something was floating mid-air. Not only that...But she was feeling a slight temperature raise. Like, it was getting hotter around her.

"What is that?!" Kurai asked loudly, not understanding.

She couldn't see so she couldn't tell what that sound was.

"Your not as great as you say to be." a voice spoke up weakly.

Kurai noticed that voice instantly. It was the midgets.

"What are you talking about?!"

"You fell in...to my trap."

"What?!"

"You...rely too much on your sight. You hunt with your sight more than anything. But...Veruna's moon spell took that away from you...Now it's all over. Since you can't see...You can't dodge my attack."

"WHAT?!"

Levy, still unmoving on the floor, could only manage to keep one eye open. Trembling and shaking furiously she managed to nudge her head slightly to look up. And that small nudge was all she needed to see Kurai.

The girl with the spiky black hair stood unaware of what was currently around her.

Fire. Loads and loads of it. The word 'fire' was in the air, floating, around Kurai. Multiple words of fire that were actually on fire.

"Veruna...did all those beams shot as a distraction...so you wouldn't look at me...I used my solid script magic...to write fire at least 30 times and hid them long enough...until you came out and Veruna shot you. There all around you. And their about to explode."

Kurai's mind was in a whirl. She couldn't believe this! The prey couldn't trap the predator! Impossible! Now, she knew why they had took the sight. Without being able to see, she couldn't dodge. She couldn't tell where the words were and where they would explode.

Time! part of Kurai's mind thought. She could escape to he own dimension. How long it has been?

'Five seconds till 30 seconds...I can't escape!' Kurai thought with panic.

She was fully trapped. She was gone.

Levy tried to smile but the corner of her lips barely lifted. No matter. She could feel the warmth inside of her and fill her body. Her mouth opened,

"Soild Script: Fire!"

A huge explosion took place as all the 'fire' words transformed into actual fire hitting Kurai. Levy could see the burst of flames ignite with one another. A shrill scream belonging to Kurai filled the air as she took the brunt forces of the attack not knowing where to move or how to dodge as she couldn't see.

This all but lasted for five seconds before the fire ceased. Smoke rose to the ceiling. And once gone, Levy finally caught sight of Kurai.

She stood alone covered in ash. Her eyes wide. Smoke coming off her. Body trembling and aching. Scorched. Then, she dropped to the floor with a loud thud. Kurai was down for the count as she was unconscious.

Defeated.

Levy felt victorious. She and Veruna won! Her eyes darted to the side where Veruna was lying down. Levy could see the words she had written in her solid script right next to Veruna.

'Sound proof'

She only ever used it when going in infiltration missions with Jet and Droy. It had never come into more handy then now. It made sure Kurai couldn't hear what Veruna and her had been planning. And, she was so grateful for it.

"We...did it...Veruna..." Levy trailed off as she could no longer keep herself awake.

Her one eyes closed as she too joined Veruna into deep unconsciousness due to the poison.

And done! So, what did you guys think of the comeback chapter! Well, at first we have Lucy and the rest getting a step close to Sarah...But is that really their want to go? (And also small RELU moment!) Then we have Zolo and his past...What do you guys think about that? And, we also have Levy and Veruna VS Kurai fight and how that ended. I loved their fight and how I did it? What do you guys think? Did you think it was good?

Please read the following...Please read the following...Please read the following...Please read the following:

1) I don't know if you guys have noticed...But Scarlet Destiny has got a new cover! It's Ren and he's in chibi form! It was drawn by the great maskedgirl16! Give her a big thanks as I truly love the picture so much! What do you guys think of it?!

2) Did you know its really hard to write Levy fighting? It's because you never, ever see her having a full fight in Fairy Tail so it makes you wonder how she would be/attack in a real fight. I wrote her fighting the best I think she would do. I imagine her to fight more intelligently, thinking of plans and being a strategist before attacking. I hope it was all okay with you guys?

I'll be updating in two weeks! Like usual! I promise! Please Read And Review!

Till next time...See yh!
