Tapping her fingers with the little patience she had left, Hermione sat prim and proper at her favorite location to get lunch. Ginny was unusually late today, though the petite brunette tried to give her closest girl friend the benefit of the doubt. In recent events since Ron and Luna's wedding, it was leaked for the new rosters of the quidditch teams and there was Ginny Weasley's name for the Holyhead Harpies. According to Harry, anytime they went out, people know longer gawked and ran to question him. The spotlight had been forced upon Ginny who was very much enjoying the new limelight rather than being known as The Chosen One's fiancée.

Ginny busted through the small restaurant and Hermione tilted her head, giggling, as she waved to catch the attention of her lost friend. When the red head caught sight of the other, she let out a pleased sigh and took long strides over to the witch waiting for her.

"I'm so sorry," Ginny began the apology before she even sat down. "I really didn't think it would have been this attention after the roster going out!"

Hermione merely waved her off and took a sip of her water.

"Have you been waiting long?" Ginny asked fearful, being unable to let go if Hermione had been sitting her longer than anyone would want to.

"It has barely been fifteen minutes Ginny, you're fine," Hermione reassured, smiling at her now relieved friend. "I ordered for you, I hope that is okay."

"I get the same thing every time, that is perfectly okay!"

"Great!" Hermione exclaimed, and then begin listening intently when Ginny explained the chaotic events that happened before she got here. Sniggering loudly between themselves as Ginny told the stories, getting the girls attention and annoyed other customers at their obnoxious schoolgirl behavior.

"I forgot to tell you how beautiful you looked at the wedding last week! It was no wonder Fred couldn't stop looking at you," Ginny complemented while chewing through her food, giving the petite woman across from her a playful wink.

"Thank you, I'm surprised I found a dress in that color I actually liked," Hermione explained, giving the red head girl a gracious smile from her compliment. With a tilt of her head, Hermione's determined, over-analyzing, thinking face was now evident on her expression. "You noticed that too? I don't know how he didn't get bored of just looking at my face."

"I think everyone who wasn't one hundred percent focus on the wedding noticed Fred starring you down," Ginny giggled, swallowing her food before taking a sip of her own drink. "You are a really dime compared to Fred!"

"Fred isn't bad looking at all, Ginny," Hermione scolded, shaking her head a bit at her friend.

"He is also my brother," the quidditch played reminded, a familiar playful smirk on her lips.

Hermione chuckled and rolled her eyes. "I swear you get that look from the twins!"

Ginny merely shrugged and pushed her plate away after completely cleaning it. She rested her hand on the table and watching Hermione keenly. "So it is going better between you two?"

"Much better," Hermione replied in exasperation, not wanting to reflect on Fred's difficult attitude he had in the early times. "It wasn't truly his fault for acting the way he did, his reason is justifiable."

"Still some of the things were uncalled for, he knew better," the other reminded, still a little bitter towards him after his treatment to Hermione. Sure, he was getting better, but Hermione didn't deserve his backlash and Ginny knew that Fred should have understood that earlier. Hermione hadn't asked for this either and the prankster really caught a deal on getting paired with Hermione.

"You and your grudges, I swear," Hermione teased, shaking her head once again.

"Someone has got to hold them! I can't be accountable for being worried for you!"

Hermione snorted, her head tilting back as her unruly hair bounced. "You were worried for me? Can you imagine how concerned I was for my own self?"

"I'd rather not imagine that, thanks!"

Digging into their desserts, the girls trailed off the topic of the status of Fred and Hermione's relationship. Focusing more now on other things they haven't talked about in a while. Though, Hermione wouldn't openly admit it, her mind trailed off and would leave her distracted by Fred. She normally praised herself on always being so attentive and letting very few things distract her, but for once she couldn't take pride in her ability.

"How does Harry feel about you being on the team," Hermione inquired, trying to rid Fred from her thoughts once again.

Ginny shrugged. "He was really ecstatic which surprised me. I didn't think he would be against it, but I guess I figured he would have been bothered by all the traveling required of me," Ginny explained, the confusion she still held very evident on her face.

"Did you want him to be bothered by it?" Hermione asked, slightly surprised, that usually wasn't how Ginny operated.

"No! Not at all! I guess it is just I've gotten so accustomed to him and I actually being able to spend time with one another, for once we don't have anything holding us back," the girl trailed off, trying to recollect her thoughts for her explanation. "I suppose I'm a little disheartened that we won't get to spend the time together like we have been…. If that makes any sense at all!"

Hermione nodded along, doing actually very well in keeping up with Ginny's unprepared explanation. "I don't think Harry would miss any of your games, unless something really major was happening," the bookworm reassured.

"He is rather fond of me," Ginny teased, a smirk plastered back on her face. Causing Hermione to giggle as she took a bite of her cake.

The girls parted ways and Hermione was in view of the twins shop when she saw Fred in casual attire exiting the shop. Odd, since he hadn't mentioned anything to her about a business meeting or interview. It was well past his lunch break and he only left the shop during the break if he was taking Hermione out for lunch. Permitted she wasn't busy with her work schedule, wedding plans, or she already made plans with Ginny that is.

"Going some where?" She questioned inquisitively, smiling at him as he grinned back to her.

"Already trying to keep me on a leash woman?" He teased, bent down and lightly kissed her cheek. Causing the brunette to freeze and blush at the unfamiliar display of fondness.

It wasn't that she didn't like it; she was dazed at how much she craved things like that from him. It was just still new to her, especially given the fact it was Fred. He was remarkably handsome, his romantic words and actions still never failed to make her blush and mute her.

"As much as I would love to stay and admire that beautiful color you have on your cheeks, I have a small meeting to attend to," the freckled prankster whispered by her ear before straightening up and flashing his mischievous smile at her.

"Have fun," Hermione muttered absentmindedly as she was now completely absorbed by his dancing, beautiful azure eyes.

"Try to miss me to much," Fred responded playfully, giving her a wink even before heading in the general direction of Diagonally.

"Oh I think I'll manage," Hermione snorted, rolling her eyes, and shaking her head at the outlandish man she would be marrying.

Waiting patiently for assistance, Fred continued glancing around the room. Waiting for something to catch his eyes. He felt rather flushed and filled with anxiety, he didn't want to lie to Hermione and the red head knew he would feel guilty without the spell that was placed on the two. He just felt currently like he had done a cursed spell though. The guilt entirely overwhelmed him.

He shook his head to gather his thoughts and continued carefully looking around the small room he was currently in. Stopping in front one of the tables, he narrowed his eyes and began to examine the item closer. So far it fit exactly to what he had in mind.

"Sorry for the wait, had a call in the back!" An older wizard began apologetically, wiping his hands with a napkin, and giving Fred a warm, welcoming smile. "How can I help you today, lad?"

Fred straightened and turned full body to the man, giving him a smile in return. "No worries. I'm looking for an engagement ring. I heard you do an excellent job of making each ring unique and stunning. Figure I might see what you have to offer!"

The man chuckled and nodded. "I take it she must be really special, sounds like you want the perfect ring for her."

"Perfect ring for the perfect girl," Fred muttered and then began following the older man as he signaled for the prankster to follow him to the back.
