She arrived in Central City fearfully, and nervously. What if she came across her father? Would Dewei convince her to join his side, instead? Would the Amestrian troops refuse her help?
Her stomach was, definately, twisted in a nervous knot. What could she say? She wasn't gifted with the ability to talk well, in front of strangers.
"I'm Rachel!" Chimed a cute, brown-haired, teenage girl that was either average hieght, or, even, smaller. She gave off a kind hearted presence that could, instantly, put anyone at ease.
Needless to say, Olivier Armstrong didn't trust her.
"I knew Dewei when we were just kids." Rachel explained to them.
Anyone, who had originally trusted her, did not trust her anymore, once she had uttered those eight words.
"Please let me help capture him! Please don't make me go back to Creta without helping!" She pleaded, desperately.
They gave her questioning looks, once they had heard her say Creta.
She, hurriedly, went on to explain, when she had noticed their confused looks, "My grandma is a Cretan, but my mom moved to Xing, and had me with an Amestrian man. My father, probably, doesn't, even, know that I exist."
Elizabeth started crying, and clung on to Rachel, startling her.
"What's wrong?" Rachel asked in a calm, kind voice.
"I don't know my daddy, either!" Wailed Elizabeth.
"Shh, shh." Rachel attempted to sooth her, while flinching at Olivier's stone cold glare that was directed at Elizabeth.
Rachel spoke up, "I know that Dewei has changed, since we were little. He isn't the boy that I used to love."
Winry stared at her, sadly, seeming to understand what it felt like to fall in love with a childhood friend.
"Kuo Mu Wang." She muttered to herself.
"What?" Winry asked Rachel.
"We gave eachother new names when we were kids. That was the one that I gave Dewei." Rachel explained.
Roy Mustang responded, instantly. "Look up anyone staying at a hotel, under the name, Kuo Mu Wang." He commanded.
Results came back, almost immediately. It brought tears to Rachel's eyes to find that someone with Dewei's description, obviously Dewei, was checked in to a hotel, under that name.
'He remembers.' Rachel thought, hopefully, yet sadly.
Her hopes were dashed, after they broke in to Dewei's hotel room.
He had tied Lan Fan's hands behind her head, and had tied her legs to the bed. He had, also put a gag in her mouth.
Dewei had been in the process of lifting off Lan Fan's shirt.
They had succeeded in arresting Dewei that day, because he had no chance of escaping.
