Disclaimer: I own nothing except my characters.

Note: This pull down title isn't the same as the actual title, I know, I wrote it wrong. Sorry. Anyway, here is another nice simple chapter, mainly exploring the characters of Abby and Charity a little. Happy reading! PS: SiobhanPhelps: I love your comments! It really helps me gauge the story and make little tweaks, you are amazing.

During class I spent most of my time daydreaming, Melinda nudged me a few times, which was helpful considering we were working with Snapping Vines. It wasn't a surprise that Neville was the first one to get snapped, though he seemed to be alright, at least until he accidently backed into a blue plant which somehow poked through his jumper, piercing his skin. It was only when Lavender commented that Neville's eyes were a moss green did Professor Sprout realized what happened. Seamus brought him up as Professor Sprout explained to the rest of us the dangers of mixing plants and of course injecting them into our skin without knowing the side effects.

Due to Neville's lack of luck we were assigned to find four plants in the greenhouse which we found interesting, giving a complete sketch and detailed description. The following class we'd be guessing what they were and then going over them aloud. We had no homework, except to finish any sketches or details we didn't have time to write and start making small notes or guesses. I ended up picking a ginger looking plant which were in the same shape of four leaf clover, the tallest plant that had yellow looking circular products hanging from them, a supposed cactus—which Melinda had chosen too—and a white shaped leaf that looked like it was smiling the closer you moved to it. We were cautioned to not get too close to the plants, obviously, but the last one I choose seemed to be most, alluring, which probably meant the most dangerous. I quickly noted that the plant was most likely deadly.

Normally I had little to no desire to continue school work after dinner, but I purposely finished my food as fast as I could so I could get to the common room and finishing my sketch and add some notes about what I reminded about the plants I wanted to find out about. I had only gotten as far as sitting on the couch and opening the book when Fred and Lee walked in. I wanted to ask where George was but I already knew. Lee casually strolled over to some kids from his year and started up a game of cards as Fred plopped onto the couch. "Hey" he said nodding. I nodded back.

"Oy, c'mon you lazy bums, we have Quidditch practice" George's voice boomed happily in the common room. I quickly pulled away from Fred, almost falling off the couch, to Fred's great amusement and tried to make myself look presentable. "Oh don't worry about it. I'm sure if you look dismal like you do it will make Alicia happy, you know, knowing you're back with Fred" George said as I gave up on straightening my hair and just putting into a ponytail. "Have you been in here the whole time?" I asked putting my book back in my bag.

"No, that would be creepy" he said looking around for his Quidditch bag, which he, for some reason left in the common room instead of his own room or even the Quidditch changing room.

"Oh, where have you been then?" I asked curiously watching Fred lean back comfortable as his brother continued searching for his bag.

"Out" George replied finally pulling a tattered looking bag from behind one of the small tables.

"Doing what?" I asked stupidly.

"Same thing you have" he said with a devilish grin as he throw Fred's stuff at him and then pushed his own stuff back in his bag.

"Want me to walk with you?" Fred asked balling up his practice clothes. I shook my head and held up my bag.

"I gotta bring this to my room and get my broom, I'll be there though, I mean, obviously I will, I just—" I closed my mouth to prevent myself from saying anything too stupid.

"See you out there then" Fred said kissing me before jogging after his brother. I smiled again as I hurried up to my room, setting my bag on my bed and grabbing my gloves and broom; I wasn't sure how cold it was, but I didn't want to take the risk of it being too cold and forgetting the gloves.

I was a bit relieved to see Matt sitting with Abby, both of them chatting cheerfully. "Tammie, are you heading to practice? Charity just left, she said maybe you won't be there tonight and Alicia will give her more time to practice with the beaters, you know, so she can 'win Fred back.'" Abby explained.

"Bitch can try…" I said feeling the annoyance as giggled. "Anyway, come out with me? I've noticed you've neglected your cheering duties" I told her as she pretended to roll her eyes but quickly jumped from the couch.

"I suppose I'll go…" she teased.

"Matt?" I asked as he remained seated for a moment.

"Okay" he finally said much to my relief as he got up and headed out with us. "So, Abby, are you going to tell Tammie what you told me?" he asked as headed down a flight of stairs.

"Madame Hooch said I had an excellent flying ability, this was a while ago, and she talked to McGonagall, they want me to try out next year, personal recommendation" she said cheerfully as I high fived her. "But I have to make sure I keep my grades up" she added.

"Well of course, if you need anything, anything at all Abby let me know" I said as she smiled happily.

"She never told me what position" Matt added.

"Beater" she said quickly as I nodded approvingly.

"I can that, you and Matt" I said nodding at Matt.

"That would be so awesome. Of course it would mean living up to your boyfriend and his brother" she said as we finally left the castle.

"I'm sure we can make some sort of dent" Matt told her with a little nudge as she nudged him back. I was happy my friends could be on common ground about one thing, one person. And really, that was all I needed from them. Though, I still had yet to know how Draco felt about Abby. I'd have to either ask or have a group interaction.

"Maybe, but they are a hard pair to beat" I joked back as we moved toward the benches.

"Look, there's your boyfriend" Abby said nodding at Fred who was chatting with Harry before he noticed us. He hurried over nodding at Matt first.

"Hello Tammie's boyfriend Fred" she said as he raised an eyebrow.

"Do you just like saying that word?" I asked her she gave me an obnoxious smile. "Oh…" I said as I caught a glimpse of Charity walking out with some chick I I didn't know. The two of the whispering as she glared over at me.

"She obviously sees your boyfriend is still your boyfriend and your boyfriend is giving up on being your boyfriend" Abby said as Matt shook his head but I could tell he was laughing.

"Okay, we're leaving" I said grabbing Fred's wrist and headed off.

"You know, your boyfriend really likes Abby, great kid" he said as I gave him a swat but was quiet upon approaching Alicia and the others.

"Tammie, Fred" Alicia said cheerfully as I blushed.

"Oh my goodness, what is the big deal with them? No one cares that you guys are together or apart, it's not like we all loved you two together, it's not other people didn't want you—either of you" Charity interrupted. "You ruin everything, now I'm not going to be able to get any coverage in the sky because it's all about Tammie, and so I'm going to hit in the head and die" she said with a huff. Dramatic much? I wondered as I started to say something but Alicia spoke first.

"We're all star players Charity" she said calmly.

"The sad part is, you're not even that good, it's not like you're the only Chaser that needs covering, if you get hit it doesn't matter, there are three of us, you're so selfish" she said not paying any attention to Alicia.

"Charity, maybe you should take some—"

"No, it's okay, c'mon, let's do this" I said much to Charity's surprise. She said for a reason, she wanted me to react for a reason, I wouldn't put it pass her if Courtney had given her some special order. She wouldn't make a scene for no reason, at least not in a case where she could be kicked off.

"Then let's go, same as last time, no rough play, no tricks, and no wands" Alicia said looking around at us, but holding her gaze on Charity. We all nodded and quickly took our place in the sky, Fred close beside me, George not too far off. Alicia gave the signal and we started our play. Charity remained close, though never making any effort to get the Quaffle from me. I even slowed down a bit to try and make it easier for her, thinking maybe she was just having a rough day. When she continued making no improvement I made my way to the goal post, Fred batting off a Bludger and George batting it away from Charity. I felt bad that I scored, giving Ron little time to block.

Alicia blew her whistle, signaling for change of tactic, Charity was now to score, I was to take the ball, the boys were supposed to block her. As soon as the Quaffle was in her possession she made a drastic improvement, speeding around and dodging my first lame attempt to make a grab for the ball. George was several feet in front of her as Fred hovered slightly above her, sending a Bludger in the opposite direction as it came near Charity. I could just make out her smile as she moved up in the air slightly. "Oh…" I said stopping midair as the pieces seemed to fall together as I blinked, letting myself float in the air.

"Tammie, what in the name of Quidditch are you doing over there!" I heard Alicia's voice shouting at me. I shook my head and made a move, barely missing the Bludger that whistled pass me. I cursed myself for not paying attention. On many different levels.

I moved faster, now on Charity's left as she moved closer to Ron. Charity liked Fred; how did I not see that coming? I asked myself. Charity liked my boyfriend, why was that not obvious? I continued asking. I shook my head again, punching the ball out of her arm and then making a grab for it. "Sorry" I told her, which, I doubted she truly understood. I glanced back at Ron who was now moving toward the right hoop, though I was planning on scoring in the left. "Move over!" I shouted at him. Alicia blew her whistle.

"Don't tell him what you're going to do, he has to figure out on his own!" she shouted at me. I sighed as I scored again, this time through the middle hoop as Ron guarded the left.

"I thought you said left?" Ron asked once we were on the ground, finished with the practice for the night.

"I was, but, you already knew because I told you and Alicia said I can't tell you, so I changed my mind" I explained as we headed inside.

The class I was looking forward to for the rest of the week was Herbology; I managed to get most of my guesses right on the plants. I was right in labeling the white leaf deadly, and the ginger four leaf clover plant did have something to do with luck; in fact, it was one of the ingredients in Flexis Felicis or better known as Liquid Luck. Also, after conversing with Melinda, who seemed to be even more excited by my presence we guessed correctly that the cactus plant was actually harmless and when split open there was probably a tasty orange fruit. When we looked it up were mostly correct, except the fruit had a sour pungent taste, it was generally used for treating encounters with Imitation Vampire Blood, a potion not commonly used in our area.

Since I guessed at least two plants almost completely correct we were awarded a point a piece, as were Hermione, Harry, and surprisingly Neville. Melinda, along with several other Ravenclaws managed to collect ten house points. Ron made a snorting sound but I told him if he had made more of an effort he could've gotten a point for our house too. Professor Sprout, feeling overjoyed by our efforts only gave us half the usual amount of homework, commenting that as long as we kept our eyes and mind open we should be fine for the practical part of the O. . Ron couldn't help but complain all the way back and throughout dinner.
