Lily Evans ran across the street to the Orphanage to find Tom Riddle.
"Tom! Tom! Look what I can do!"
"Well, what is it? Spill it out."
"I got magic just like you! Look what I can do with this flower." Lily said excitingly as she showed him the palm of her hands.
"Impressive, what else can you do?"
"Well, I don't know I had gotten excited-"
"That you just had to come over here and showed it to me?"
"Yes! Tom, you can teach me! We can figure this out together!"
"Mrs. Cole said that I'm mad and I ought to go to the asylum."
"You're obviously not mad or my parents would have sent me to the asylum."
"I supposed, you're right," Tom muttered. "You can you speak snakes?"
"No...maybe it's inherited? Maybe you can teach me?"
"If it's inherited, how could I teach you?"
Lily blushed. "You're right, silly me I just thought-"
"I can take you to my secret place!" Tom blurted. "Maybe you won't go all wonky like Amy Benson and Dennis Bishop."
"I can't stay for long," Lily said carefully. "Or my family will come looking for me..."
"Would I ever hurt you?"
"Of course not! Let's go to this secret place."
